10K Run

A red beam lancing between the two of DragonierMan's foes showed once again that they seemed to split the pain between themselves. Drago noted how each seemed to attack in turn as well, and that most of their attacks were bombs. Drago wondered if Vock and Shock wanted to destroy the bridge that they built with such actions. Then he was interrupted with more explosions.

Drago rolled and almost fell off the side of the bridge as he attempted to dodge some explosions, but failed to protect himself against all of them. He got scorched by one such explosion. And Suzume and Aya did not have much luck either, taking as much damage as they had patched up. It seemed as if they would need some extra upgrading later to keep them healthy in the face of so many threats to their supple bodies.

It would seem as if they needed to change up their strategy. For the current rate of attrition, could be bad for Drago's side. Drago reached behind him and unslung two sword scabbards and tossed one to Suzume. "You get blue." Suzume caught the scabbard and held it with one hand as she placed her other hand on the hilt of the saber, pulling it an inch from the sheath to show a bit of the shiny steel. She grinned and raced forward with her clones, each now carrying the same blade. "Got him Master," the three girls said in unison. As they ran forward they began to cross paths, mixing themselves together to make it hard to figure out which was the real one.

Drago took his own defensive stance and moved away from the edge, keeping a sharp eye on his two opponents. He shifted near the three Ayas and tossed the blade to one of them. It duplicated among the other two. "Red," he stated before the three girls silently nodded and raced off to confront the other Navi. They also weaved among themselves like cups hiding the token as they closed. Though this token they were hiding had a dangerous and sharp edge.

He shifted once more into the middle of the bridge again and began gathering energy for his own attack. He brought his fists up in front of him like a shield and began bobbing. It may not prevent him being blown up by bombs, but he might get lucky and have an attack or two miss him.

Building up the energy into his fists, he made a quick jab forward. A bolt of energy flew from his gauntlet and sailed across the bridge to explode between the two Navis, Vock and Shock. Two larger bolts raced out from the explosion to its "port" and "starboard," attempting to catch both Navis by surprise and inflict them with more shared pain.

Finally he turned his collected energy on himself, trying to burn off any adverse effects he would suffer under.

The battle continued on as both Vock and Shock prepared themselves for an assault at close range, though perhaps they did so without reason as nothing came there way as the group of girls once again charged their way, making each laugh. "Thought we told you that won't work anymore!"

Shock seemed just as annoyed as his counterpart, as a blue beam joined them for a moment, causing each to grin, "Enjoy it." Spoke Shock as data was sent to the red jester, empowering the trio of daggers that Vock produced as he tossed them forth.

It was perhaps the sudden crossing of paths that saved the true Suzume and Aya from a painful shock. While two of those daggers missed completely, the third struck a Decoy, which shuddered and sparked from the strike before disappearing. The result making Vock scowl darkly, "Well, perhaps your trick can save you again."

Though just as the two seemed ready to send more mocks the trio's way, DragonierMan made his first real strike, and it connected surprisingly well, those bolts striking the duo of jesters, making them both hiss out in pain.

Energy welled within DragonierMan as he empowered himself with more force. "Now the trap closes," DragonierMan said just before he charged forward. The welled energy exploded around him as he charged, forming a deadly aura that solidified in front of him like a battering ram. His boots ate up the glowing floor of the bridge and his cloak billowed behind him majestically. He leaned hard on one shoulder and rammed it towards the blue Navi. Plowing through to the other side.

Just as he struck, so did Suzume. Her clone reformed and the three identical girls surrounded the Navi. They slashed swiftly with three wide-bladed sabers. The energy blades hummed through the air as they were released from their sheaths in a single fluid movement. Carving a deadly triangle that would carve Shock to pieces... Even though two of those blades were fake and wouldn't actually cut the Navi.

Drago, meanwhile, had immediately pivoted on the narrow bridge after running through Shock's area, and with astonishing grace that belied his bulk, dashed at Vock just as the three Ayas got into position to launch their own attack. The air exploded around Drago once more as he fed his own energy into the attack, creating another solid energy ram as he bulldozed his way through the red Navi's space. Possibly shoving Vock to the floor and trampling over his prone body.

The Ayas struck with astonishing quickness at the wounded Vock. Having circled him like vultures their blades leapt from their scabbards and fell upon the crimson Navi, shrieking for blood. They cleaved at Vock's body, clawing to rend at digital flesh. Slashing at his clothes.

Drago slid to a halt as he came out of his multi-dash attack and turned towards his two opponents. He stepped forward and rolled into the center of the duo as the girls retreated a couple steps after their attack. He unrolled his armored form into a top-like spin as he stood. His arms stretched out to either side and his claws ripped the air around him as he spun. His final strike to take out the brother Navis.

Finally done, and slowing down from his spin, Drago took up a defensive stance again. Raising his gauntleted hands, he readied himself for their counter. Assuming anything survived the latest onslaught.

Oh, and he recovered from some sort of affliction... if any affected him at the time.

The twin jesters turned backs to one another and drew close as DragonierMan and his harem of SPs started to close the trap around them, making each scowl coldly to the pack. "It seems this trio is closer to a mob."

"I think we should find easier targets, these are such a bore."

Shock nodded his head in agreement, as both navis suddenly leaped into the air, just narrowly avoiding Dragonier's charge. Though perhaps odder still was each seemed to land on the other's feet, standing together like one would appear if on a mirror in the sky.

"You win this day, you bothersome trio."

"We've wasted enough time with you anyway!"

Each jester began to laugh and fall, upwards, melding into one another before fusing into an orb of light that shot off into the sky. Though doing so, they seemed to have left a little something behind, which floated to the platform below, in the mists of well-armed navi and his support program team.

Suzume collapsed onto her knees as the battle concluded, letting out an exhausted sigh. "Aaahh... Are we done yet? These battles are killing me." The clones shattered like glass, leaving the two girls alone with DragonierMan. Aya had her sack already open and was shoving materials into it.

As if answering a question, a vid-window popped open, showing Destin Obscura. "You have completed your task. We now have the funds necessary to upgrade DragonierMan to have the capacity for full-flight... Though we need one more part that is harder to acquire, and for that we will ask the Neo-Shoguns' for help."

Drago nodded his head and grabbed up the remainder of the rewards. The three of them teleporting out in data streams of white.
