Starting the battle off quickly, Trent called for Sasha from his operator, who sent in the combat canine quite quickly with a whistle, and went in himself after being preempted by a MetaGel attack. Unfortunately, one of them managed to dodge the initial jelly, though Sasha's roar set it up for the other two to get hit by theirs. Meanwhile, both of his allies also went into action, with the masked figure leaping in with Trent, swinging two electrically charged blades. Though they seemed to have lost their initial drive, the bugbots didn't seem to be any less agile, leaping about and slicing about with some very sharp-looking legs. Blades flew about from both Trent and the masked figure as they attempted to wound their adversaries. Finally, through their collective efforts, one of the bots fell, and disintegrated into junk data, unlike last time. Things were looking up, but not for long; both of the bots fired an instant laser beam at Trent and the masked one, grazing Trent's shoulder and the other's leg. (40) (40)
