For the Service of the Machine

213 head her head high and spread her wings out once she was beyond range of the viruses. Her hand swayed free from hovering over the hilt of the sword, her guard dropping as the coast was currently clear. Steam followed her trail and sounds of grinding gears and working machine parts and pistons filled the air around her. 213 Kept searching for viruses, but found none in the general area. She kept searching the nets of the Dentech server, trying to find more organics to smite.

Fredrick swiveled in his chair playfully while 213 searched. After a few moments of childish distractions, he turned his attention back to the hologram screens to find 213 walking into the library of the net. All around her were Mr programs and various such creations sorting the piles upon piles of folder data. Most were neatly placed, but like any library, the organization of the area wasn't perfect. Navi's of Students skimmed through information, moving quickly from place to place to find the necessary data for the classes.

213 stood out like a sore thumb. Her strikingly custom appearance and wings radiating steam made her a interesting sight. She causally walked up to a shelf and pulled a folder down labeled, "Seraphim".

"213. Knowledge is a very important subject. With great knowledge comes great power, but not all knowledge is of great importance to all roles. We should insure that the security has no issues here," Fredrick instructed.

213 had already started reading the file. She sent the data to the PET, and displayed a large picture of a fully armored Seraphim with angelic wings. "What is wrong with this Angel, Uriel?" She asked.

Fredrick had no answer. He stumbled and stuttered on his words, trying to choke out an explanation. 213 put the file back. "Since your response time was so long, I assume I have over stepped my boundaries for the time being. I will search for the viruses in the library."

{Battle 4 Please..or would it be 5? I am unsure}
With no information to be found, 213 went around the library, searching instead for viruses through the hallways of files and books. The entrances to the vast hallways were gleaming Holy Panels, which made it easy to navigate through the sprawling labyrinth of the library area. However, once she entered one particular hallway, she realized that the hallway had already been occupied by a large IronShield virus! What was more, she saw that the virus wasn't alone; a peek through the bookshelves revealed a quartet of viruses in hiding behind the IronShield. Well, the narrow space made it sure that the ones behind didn't have a clear shot at her, at least, so that was one good point. Otherwise, it was a very cramped battleground.

213 could barely stretch her wings well in these crowd conditions. She wrapped them in on her body, keeping the close, and the steam centralized. Her head drifted between the shelves, scanning the titles of the books. She couldn't reach out to read one, Uriel was watching and she was on patrol from his orders. But maybe she could look at them tomes later. The banks of knowledge they held was tempting to her. She turned her head away from them. She couldn't be tempted right now.

Fredrick observed this behavior, unsure what to make of it all. The faith meter was unchanged, and the mission of 213 was still her primary objective. She was just being curious. This fact was curious within its self. Maybe it wasn't curiosity, but maybe just a thirst for knowledge. Who knew. This certainly wasn't a programed fact. He had no idea how to note this.

213 turned a corner of a bookshelf, stumbling upon her enemies. A large shield was presented to her face, and behind on the other side was more enemies. Taking cover behind the shield. What a bunch of cowards. Her head lowered in disgust, and her wings unfolded and down turned slightly. She was right in the middle of a holy panel, as was the virus. She tried to extend her wings, but didn't have near enough room. She wasn't pleased about this. Her eyes scanned around the area. She couldn't get right through that shield, and with the holy panel support it would take all her firepower just to dislodge that one virus. The only call was to ignore it for now.

She looked at the shelves and spawned an idea. The new blessing she had just received would help greatly in this. She left her sword on her hip, and didn't begin to summon her armor, as was her normal approach to a battle. Instead she reverted power to her legs and arms, changing most of the steam expulsion from her wings to her ankles.

"Creative," Fredrick muttered with the mic muted. He could determine the plan of the navi, for once, seeing the change in her normal pattern. He still was unsure which chip she would require though. He nervously waited the encoded message from the navi, chips at the ready to be slotted in.

213 bent her knees low, bending her body over. Her wings tightly around her she jumped into the air steam trailing from her feet, as she grabbed unto one of the shelves, as high as she could grab. She swung her other arm up and placed heavy metal feet on the lower shelves, pushing herself upwards. Steam was starting to be redirected to her wings, to create a Screen of steam. Along the way she send her prayer to Fredrick, requesting the blessing of choice.

Fredrick slotted in the tankcannon chip, now fully understanding the intent of the navi. He started to give thought to why he didn't engage the shield first. 213 finished her climb and got to her position above the viruses. At this area she should be able to fire over the shield without issue. While he began thinking and racking his brain on the matter, 213 started her attack. The chip now in her system, she uploaded the powerful shot to her left hand. She aimed her hand at the center of the enemies, the electric expelling point aimed at the center of the group. The center of her hand crackled with excess power as the large shell was prepared. Finally she had found the perfect lobbing location and sent the shell dead center. A large explosion ensued, but she was unsure which she had gotten in the blast. She released her grip and fell back to the holy panel where she originally started.

Summary
1) Reroute Power to Legs and Jump on the shelves.
2) Climb along the shelves to get high enough to fire behind the Ironshield without issue.
3) Tankcannon 1 to Center of the group of hiding Viruses. Near Gunner B and Piranha A (80 + Blast 2 + C Accuracy)
*Release Grip and fall down

213's tactics to climb over the shelves for a tactical advantage proved to be very effective as the two viruses fell by her TankCannon. However, just as she prepared to drop down to the ground, the Gunners and the Piranhas gave the pressure on 213, which forced the navi to stay on top while she suffered few minor damages...

213 was trapped on the top of the shelves, while the assaults were in progress. He hugged tight to the top, reducing her damages slightly, as some hit the bookshelf itself. She looked down, seeing the explosion from her tank cannon wasn't was large as she thought, the viruses weren't fully deleted in the close quarters, this was something to investigate into. The explosion didn't have the kick she thought it did. She would have to take the fight down to them, in this case. she stood up, spreading her wings wide and holding her feet closer together. He tilted her head back, pinging a request to the machine for aid.

The screen lit up with the request, once in which Fredrick took a moment to respond to. He wasn't fully sure what the request was until he saw he jump from the shelf, feet first. Her body was tucked up in a ball, her wings trailing above her. The massive form of 213 was descending to the ground, assuming the aid requested wouldn't be given. Fredrick slotted in the shockwave chip just in time for 213 to reroute the attack to her feet. Upon landing with her right foot, she started to lean her body forwards to both catch her balance and direct the attack, trying to link up the towards viruses with it. A large energy ripping forwards from her form, caused by the chip.

Her impact created a large boom, knocking books off of nearby shelves. She unfolded herself from the landing position and pulled her long sword from his side, the withdrawing sound a horrible grinding of metal on metal. She sent another request skywards to Uriel, this one much easier for Fredrick to determine what it was; the rageclaw.

The data mutated the sword in her hand and changed the tip to a hook. She threw her weight forwards, her shoulder leading the charge as she neared the first of the viruses. With a overhead strike, she attempted to dig the hook of the weapon into the flesh of the piranha virus. With a follow up slide of her foot, she twisted her from, dragging the hook end behind, before whipping it towards the other grounded virus, trying to send one flying right into the other.

213 turned her attention to the ironshield behind her. The shield on the virus was forward facing, turned away from her currently. This was an obvious choice for the attack pattern of 213. She swung the sword in her hand with a sideways swipe, trying to hook the side of the shield, to rip the virus from its position on the holy panel. She swung the sword to the side of the narrow hall, trying to slam the target into a nearby shelf, to remove it from the panel.

Fredrick had a smile of approval on as he figured out what 213 needed. He felt proud of himself for the job and gave himself a pat on the back. He was also impressed by 213's quick processing and response time to his lack of supplies. He made note of the pressing need for a automatic chip selection system for her.

Summary
1) Jump down from the Shelves and use Shockwave Chip towards Gunner A and Piranha B. (40 + Line Attack + Ground Attack)
2) Rageclaw to Piranha B, throw into Gunner A (20 + Impact to Both)
3) Rageclaw to back of the iron shield to Throw off of holy panel (20 + Impact)
213 made waves as she landed on the ground, going through the motions of executing two more viruses quite swiftly. After that, she went about knocking the IronShield away from its defensive position, which she did quite successfully. The virus responded by turning towards her and firing a volley of bombs towards her. One of them hit her for a little bit of damage. (10)

213 lowered her head and hunched her shoulders, almost in an intimidating way towards the shield as she stalked over, her wings spread as wide around her as possible, and her fingers nibbling twisting the hilt of her long steel blade. The palm of her right hand was glowing with extra electricity, some small sparks even arching out. She sent out a request to the machine for extra aid in finishing off the final of the library viruses.

Fredrick got the request and determined the chip easily, with so few he could see the difference in the request patterns easily. He started to slot it in, but his eyes drifted back to his notes. Certain lines of text stood out to him, making him with hold the data from 213. He wanted to conformation of her processing logic.

213, not having received the data once again assumed that her request was denied and she must press forwards without the assistance. No need in waiting around for a denied request, since the logical response time of a machine was fast and undeniable. She ran forwards towards the shield, her wings traveling behind her, the steam streaking from the exhausts behind her. Her movement not slowed as she approached the shield, she placed on hand on the top of the virus, and spun herself over the enemy.

She landed behind the enemy after spinning over top of it, and raised her sword high above her head. The blade began to spark and glow with power along with both of her palms, which also gripped the handle. With a powerful downwards swing, and a loud grinding of metal, she lowered her form, keeping her wings erect and in the air, sending the large blade cutting down. She backed up, preparing for a second attack, when she recieved the data that she had requested from the machine. This confused her. She didn't have time to think about the logic of it now however, and began to send he data to her right palm.

The metal hand raised, with the hole focused directly into the back of the virus, the build up of tiny sparks of electric energy building. A wad of power and energy shot from her hand, the small sparks flying towards the ironshield with great speed. 213 stepped backwards, trying not to give much thought to the slow response of the machine. For now.

Regardless of her attempt not to think about it, Fredrick aw the noticeable drop in the faith meter on one of the hologram panels of 213's PET.

Summary
1) Tactical Movement rolling over the virus to get to its back.
2) Might of the Machine to ironshield (60 + Elec + Slashing + Self Slow)
3) Shotgun to Ironshield (50 + Spread1)
With one last round of attacks, 213 managed to roll around the last remaining virus, executing it before it could do anything else to her.

213 let her wings fall to her side as he sword slowly dropped to a casual position. She bent down and inspected the ironshield. It was one made of metal, and one in which 213 respected. It was, in its own way, part of the machine. She paid very simple respects, not wanting to waste time on useless rituals, and moved to gather the remaining data from the nets. She turned back to the shelves, which were in disorder, and began to reorganize them.

Fredrick was distracted by the new amount of money he had gathered. The side change would be nice. He wouldn't use any other money than the ones sent to him by 213 for upgrades. This experiment would be self sufficient. She did have enough however, get gather some simple upgrades from the navi parts stores near by. He wanted to keep her on her toes, but he feared that unwarranted gifts would arouse her suspicion of the experiment once again. Gifts and upgrades to make her stronger would also in turn raise her faith meter. Balancing this would be far more difficult that he thought. Simply upgrading her like a normal navi couldn't be done. He had to pay close attention to that meter. He needed to give just enough for her to remain faithful, but withhold enough so that she operates on her own. She couldn't come to rely on the machine.

"M-Angel.213," Fredrick said, assuming the booming vocal role of Uriel. "You are being removed from the network. You have done very well. The machine needed this area cleaned, and you have done it. Logically, you will be rewarded."

213 stood listening to the explanation. No change in her faith meter was a sign he hadn't overstepped her logical bounds. He nodded in a simple understanding gesture before disappearing from the nets in a loud shrill of grinding metal. Steam was all that remained after the bright light filled the netways, jacking her out at Fredrick's command.
