Jazz's Yoka Bounty Thread

Jazz would only watch as the two needles hit home, though one of those blasted micro puffs managed to intercept the attack and waste the second needle. But as the thing sputtered and coughed out smoke, as well as burn, there wasn't much else he could do to stop it's inevitable explosion unless he managed to take it out right here and now. Thing was...could he take out the rest of it's HP before it managed that?

Thing looks about ready to blow at this rate. Thing is, how big will the blast be? Think I could take it out before it blew? He asked her simply, watching the homing bubbles come after them one after another, letting out a sigh as two small daggers wedged themselves between his fingers. Hold that thought. I'd rather not feel any more napalm on me right now. He continued after a brief pause, the rabbit taking aim, watching the bubbles bounce up and down slowly as they lazily honed in on the two bunnies. With two flicks of his wrist, the two daggers were launched at the bubbles in turn as to pop them quickly to keep them from touching the two of them, spread included.

Hmmmm...looking through these chips I have... Stephine mumbled above the two bunnies, looking through the folder of unused chips before pulling out a second and third level chip. Got these two. NeedleCannon2. fifteen times eight hits. Though Jazz has affinity with Wood chips, so...with his level, It would wind up being a twenty-five times eight, just five hits could take it out. She said, before looking at the other chip, one with less utility...but seemingly a higher "Tier" than the chip before it. And this SideGun. It's- Stephine began, before getting interrupted. Thirty to a single target, with a spread that hits to the left and right of the hit target. Not nearly enough. Jazz scoffed, remembering the chip thirty-some years ago, something his netop never used only in specific situations. Wrong bunny boy. They increased the damage to one-hundred and ten in the past thirty years. Stephine corrected with a giggle at his expense. Jazz was nearly mortified by the correction. In my defense, it's been about thirty years since I used that chip. Jazz was quick to say.

With the warning offered, Jazz held his ground and watched the rumbling entity with caution. One of the half-formed puffy-like creations tried to spit another wildly inaccurate glob of magma at the pair of rabbits, but neither needed to pay it too much attention, so far off the mark was it. At his question, Prose turned her head from the malfunctioning forge and looked to Jazz, her head tilting slightly.

"Oh, it won't explode, it's a— Eee!" Her explanation cut off with a brief flinch and a small possibly unconscious dart inwards to take cover behind Jazz. The Puffy Forge dipped hits front down low for a moment, rumbling violently, then arched upwards almost vertical in the air as a huge column of burning, electrical plasma rushed upwards from al around it, engulfing most of the remaining micro puffs, and a few of the other larger half-baked creations in a violent plasma storm of fire and electricity. Prose and Jazz were just out of range of the blast of rising energy, but one of the fully formed Puffy viruses was not so fortunate, and it reeled as the edge clipped it, dealing a very nasty electrical burn.

"...that." Prose finished, a moment or two too late. Despite the shock, Jazz retained the presence of mind to snipe the two homing bubbles out of the air while they waited for the storm to pass. The first one seemed to tun into a solid sphere of lead as his shot hit it, dropping into the lava and quickly submerging. The other wobbled when his knife struck, before turning into a very confused looking Fishy, which immediately fled the scene at impressive speed.

The forge had sagged downwards again, almost brushing the lava now as it smoked desperately from its attack, if it was an attack, and Prose edged closer, looking at it as she crept up to the edge of the lava pool. As she did, however, the whole creature shuddered violently, letting out a low, loud groan as it did. The smaller bunny girl had enough time to squeak in surprise, and jump backwards quick enough to blur in Jazz's vision, but it wasn't quick enough to outpace the sudden rolling wave of erratic sparks and corrupted data that washed out from the Forge in every direction. Even Jazz wasn't far enough away to be safe from this expulsion, and he'd feel the glitch code slide over his defences and worm its way under his fur. His barrier protected him from any damage, just as his gifted protections kept Prose from harm, but he still got a sense of something not right as the glitch took hold. It was a sensation, obviously alien but convincing all the same, that everything must certainly taste like different kinds of fruit, based on colour. The lava probably tasted like apple and banana if he licked it — this Jazz felt sure of, in same way that didn't make sense. The denim of Prose's skirt was probably blueberry flavoured. If his mind went other places, and answer would suggest itself very obviously to his mind, though he could still try to shake off the certainty of these feelings if he tried.

A little in front of him, Prose groaned softly to herself, curling over slightly and pressing both hands in against the front of her skirt for a few moments. She straightened quickly, catching a breath and then laughed in an awkward and amused way.

"You know... I see what that glitch is trying to do... but I'm already sort of there anyway, so it really doesn't matter, and besides, it wouldn't work!" She looked up and waved a hand at the PuffyForge. "You hear? This body doesn't work that way! It can't happen!" She laughed again, standing back an extra step to fan a hand at her face.

Off to the other side, the more badly damaged Puffy saw its chance and took a shot at Jazz, this time connecting its fire-laden bubble while he was too distracted to dodge it. The move cost the virus badly though, as the burn afflicting it wore away the last of its protection and it collapsed into the lava, beginning to disintegrate. The remaining Puffy Virus had also been caught in the blast, and as well as turning bright blue, it also seemed to be having even more trouble than usual aiming its sights towards Jazz or Prose. In the aftermath of its glitchy expulsion, another very much failed drop of viral material dropped from the Forge's lower hatch and promptly caught flame in the lava. It looked like it was beginning to try to roll towards Jazz, but it was very clearly not going to make it.

Jazz was about to say something as Prose tried to cut in, but with a crash of lighting all about the monstrous PuffyForge, the sudden flashes and crashes of light making him instinctively put his arm up to shield his eyes, and when the flashes stopped, every little half-baked puffy was gone, as well as the one that was on the cusp of death to boot. Son of a bitch, that thing doesn't want to go out quietly, does it? He asked aloud as the two bubbles were immediately taken out, that Glitch Shot was certainly a hoot.

But before he could make another move, seeing Prose whip by in a flash from the shaking and sputtering of smoke as another explosion of lightning came striking down across the field, this time nailing the both of them without hesitation. This one was his own fault, standing around like a dumbass and arguing with his netop. Though the strange sensation rolling through his head...his mind quickly became unfocused. Eyesight blurring for a few moments as the colors around him began to become a far, far more...exaggerated tone. Colors immediately becoming brighter, almost blindingly so with pastel colors crossing over the entire area, eyes unfocused for the moment as his head swam, tongue flopping out the side of his mouth and dripping with drool as his barrier immediately refreshed it's self. While unharmed from the attack, he was most assuredly feeling the effects of a glitch in his system, a quick cursory look at him showed very small portions of himself glitching and reforming, only to do the same over and over again. What didn't help matters was his eyes were comically sent to the sides of his head, leaving him looking absolutely dazed and confused as his mind went over the various flavors that he could lick. With ever so mumbled words and phrases leading to an incoherent mess of dialogue.

Stephine, on the other hand. She was frustrated with him. Granted, it wasn't all his fault, he did snipe the bubbles that were homing in on him and Prose, so that was something. But she had little recourse but to slam her view screen into the back of his head through the barrier and casings, snapping the data screen in two, but, she did manage to bring him back to his senses. Huh?! What? What the fuck just happened? I remember a flash of light and then... He began, only for Stephine to cut off his incoherent rambling. You got a Glitch in your system from that attack,
Jazz. Don't know exactly what it is, but it seems to be half-way benign at least...barring your incoherent rambling.
She huffed, but at least he was back to normal...relatively speaking at least. Anyways, finish it off. Go for broke with these. WhiteWeb1. NeedleCannon2. Slot in and download. Web it in place and then nuke it from orbit bunny boy. She finished, two chips immediately clicking into the PET and with it, Jazz's hopefully final weapons to use against the overgrown mechanical brood mother.

With that...rather streamlined explanation of what she had planned for him to do, and shaking the thoughts of licking everything in sight out of his head (He'd certainly be doing some licking later though), Jazz did his best to concentrate on the fight at hand. With the WhiteWeb chosen to attack with, Jazz procured a set of three white colored rope nets with heavier weights tied to the bottom of each "side" of the circular weapons. Unfortunately, one would be completely unneeded, but he didn't care so much about that. He'd immediately grasp one of the nets, look over at the nearly deleted Puffy, despite it not being as much of a threat or not...it was still his job to delete it. Gods knew what it could do if let loose into the net. With a heavy grunt from his throat, tossed the net at a moderate arc, the objects on the bottom helping it propel it's self towards the virus and hopefully catch it (well, delete it) to keep it from moving...despite it's lack of any real mobility. Either way, Jazz would grasp tightly at the second Net that was summoned to his feet, aiming at the moving forge before, with a much louder grunt and toss, would send the net flying into the air. The net, as if reading the virus' larger bulk, began to grow in size outwards, the shadow of the net beginning to eclipse the virus as it was midair, before falling quickly down to earth, the bolas attached to the bottom hitting the ground with a loud thud. Wonder what these nets would taste like? With their color...coconut? Or Se- The thought crossed Jazz's mind, before quickly shaking it from his head with a groan. That thought was getting a little too far from him to say the least, doing his best to keep himself in the game here, there was still the viruses to eliminate.

Before he could even grab the third net, it disappeared into thin air, but by that point the deed was done and he could move onto the last part of Stephine's plan. Even if the virus wasn't caught under the massive net like the catch of the day, he would quickly summon up a large cannon of sorts. A handle to the side of it's shining metallic exterior on a pivoting stand with a massive amount of needles loaded in the large barrel of the cannon. Each needle green in color if one looked in the barrel, and with it, the firing mechanism to the side. With a single crank, dozens of needles could be fired a second and with it, enough firepower to perforate the PuffyBus like so much swiss cheese. Turning the cannon, gripping the handle and holding on tightly, the rabbit would soon take aim at the PuffyBus, getting it in his sights, before a moment passed and he began to turn the handle like a madman. With each turn dozens of needles flooded out of the cannon's interior and flew at the mechanical brood mother, needle after needle flying at the enemy. Looking to perforate it, though sadly for the rabbit at the helm of the comical cannon, only a scant eight of the needles would actively do any damage. Which needles? Well...with about a thousand or so needles in the cannon...well, lets just say only god knew.

Still recovering from its glitchy surge, Jazz's main target drooped and smoked for a few moments, presenting very little resistance to his netting attempts. this made it quite an impressive feat when he was distracted enough that the net directed towards but mother puffy missed entirely. More fortunate was the second net, which managed to cover the smaller puffy and wrap it up with enough binding cords to corrode the rest of its protection away.

The forge had just about recovered enough that it stabilised and the black smoke pouring out of it decreased to 'normal' levels, when Jazz aimed his needle gun and sent the barrage of tiny fletchets in its direction. It was hard to tell which one shit and which didn't, but clearly, enough of them did that the barrage forcefully turned the PuffyForge side on and rolled it over, before it abruptly gave off a last thick gout of smoke and dropped to the magma below. Where it landed, the lava immediately cooled with a hiss, turning the central pool into flat black stone. The sides of the former pool cracked and a film of hot Onsen water rolled over the surface, linking the springs on either side as a semblance of quiet returned to the area.

Once it was clear that the danger was passed, Prose sighed alongside Jazz and shook her head. She seemed to be blushing again, and fidgeted slightly, but she moved quickly to the fallen behemoth anyway. Jazz could still feel the trace ends of his own glitch for little while during the aftermath, the idea that various things would probably taste like different fruits and other foods if he licked them looming up in his subconscious in response to most things he looked at.

"I'll just take a moment, I promise!" Prose called out as she examined the fallen creature. Having approached the side of it, she made small gestures with each hand in a practiced, matter-of-fact way, tracing lines over its surface without touching it. small trials of light followed her fingertips on the creature's underbelly, before another hatch revealed itself and opened up towards the innards of it, emitting another plume of black smoke as it did. The bunny girl leaned back form it before crawling part way inside and beginning to tinker. the access was a bit high for her to really get at with her small size, and she had to climb up part way, keeping one knee on the lip of the hatch while the other rested straight down for balance. Enterprising rabbits would be able to see, from the new position, that she had not, in fact, refreshed or replaced the garment that she'd given him earlier with her previous outfit change. And also that her earlier excitement hadn't exactly waned in any real way. Prose didn't seem to be thinking about it, or if she was, she didn't mind him seeing.

"It's got a hell of a tangle in its production processes. Something's got it wound up all the way to bursting with the rate it makes things." He voice was still mostly clear as she spoke and worked, and there was an informed, analytical tone to it, as though she was as much musing the details to herself as she was chatting to Jazz.

"Which I guess explains the behaviour, and glitch I got off it too... Poor thing was desperate to make as many babies as it could, above all other priorities. That's no good... Explains the plague of fire puffies in the area, though, I guess... Almost done..." There came a small whirring sound and a few more ominous clangs as she continued to tinker.

"Thanks for staying around, Jazz. I'm really glad you did, and I mean, not just because, um, because of the bedroom date. That's still happening. So you know. Don't you dare go anywhere. But I mean, shutting this thing down on my own from that state would have been a real hassle, and it would have taken me a long time. I'm really glad you were here." Jazz himself had time to gather spoils, and probably chat back to Prose if he wanted to, unless he decided to use the time for something more playful. It seemed like whatever she was doing inside the PuffyForge wouldn't take too much longer though, and she was doing her best to work quickly.

Jazz grunted as he finished shooting the mechanical creature to death with his Thousand Needles NeedleCannon, rotating his shoulder a few times as he began to survey the area around them. Those glitches were a hell of a thing, he could feel it still in his system, still wanting to lick everything in sight, and some things not in plain sight, but that was a thought for another time. He'd start picking up what he could, and with it, what looked like a deflated balloon. With a shrug, he sent it off to Stephine, and would let the PET and let her sort things out. Almost immediately after, he could hear her sputtering, like she had taken a drink and spat it out as soon as she saw what came up on the screen. Jesus christ, what was that thing doing with such rare chip data!? I could make a mint off of it to collectors who can't hash it out in the chaos nets! God DAMN this has been a good day for us! She exclaimed enthusiastically before Jazz simply shrugged.

He wondered over to one of the Onsen tiles that stuck around after the fact, cupping his hands into the water and taking a long drink of the warm waters, letting out a sigh of contentment as the glitch ever so slowly faded from his systems. He'd need to invest in a status cure or two if he kept getting weird glitches into his system like that. Hmm. Blueberry. Nah, water's water. he mused as he began to walk over towards the battered and beaten virus making machine and Prose who quickly went to work to fix it. Though he certainly saw the fact she was still without undergarments, he knew better than to make her work more difficult. He didn't exactly understand everything she was saying about what was wrong with it, but he wasn't about to question it. She had a better understanding of the machine than he ever could, so there wasn't much to say on that. Guess it got a few wires crossed then. Heh, thing couldn't stop it's self from making as many kids it could, not to mention all the thunder and smoke coming from it. I don't know machines like you do, Prose, but I can tell when something's on the fritz. He said so casually, leaning against the machine as he gently pat it.

And not a problem. Seems it was pretty good for Stephine as well, she's geeking out about a chip it dropped. He started with a shrug, with her interjecting. Jazz, you can't GET HeatBalloons in Normal nets. Or Rogues for that matter. This'll get some chip collector wet. Not a lot of navis, Commercial or otherwise, can even get down there. Granted, for some ungodly reason -anyone- can get into the Undernet, but those people...either like pain or are suicidal...I don't understand it. She commented, looking over the HeatBalloon chip she got with a goofy grin on her face. Anyways... Jazz started, rolling his eyes. I've got a few questions for ya. It's not often I see a navi without the .EXE moniker. And what's with the Puffy here? Been a long time since I've seen one like this, let alone making new viruses. Though I can wait for answers when you're willing to share, as well as when you're done there. I'd molest ya...but I know better to get in the way of someone's work.
"Oh would you now, hehe..." In response to his most recent remark, Prose's hips swayed back and forth slightly and her tail flicked upwards once while she giggled, but it was probably safe to assume it was more tease than anything else — at last while she was still working. It only took another moment, however, before she was pulling herself out and dropping down again, and resealing the hatch behind her with the same energy-manipulating gesture.

"That should do it... And you don't normally see these things because you're not supposed to. Give it a second..." She stood back alongside Jazz as the mother-puffy rumbled and hummed quietly, then rolled upright and rose into the air at a more sedate, gentle pace. After a moment it ejected a fully formed puffy-f virus encased in a protective bubble, which shot away over the trees and through the mists out of sight. The forge turned and began to drift away in the other direction, before shimmering briefly and disappearing under a cloak of invisibility and shadows, leaving no trace that anything had been in the clearing at all. Prose watched it go, hands on her hips, then turned back to Jazz and winked.

"It'll scan the network once it's situated properly again, and then it won't produce any more until it registers that the population is back down to appropriate levels. All better." She grinned and rubbed the back of her neck. "A lot of folks treat viruses as evil, you know, but really, most of them are just doing whatever their programmed instincts tell them is the thing that they ought to be doing. From their perspective, they're tyring to be good, you know? Most of them, anyway. Enough of that..."

Here she turned towards Jazz, and with a mischievous giggle jumped up to slip her arms about his shoulders and wrap her legs firmly about his middle, pulling herself high enough to brush her nose against his.

"I'll tell you more about my name later... it can wait for pillow talk, hehe. Now take me somewhere with no interruptions and rock my world, pretty boy." The grip of her ankles behind his back spoke volumes about how the tiny woman had no intention of letting anything else get in the way of her needs this time.

Jazz simply nodded as Prose spoke about the puffy shooting off the smaller viruses into the horizon, watching the virus launched disappear from sight before letting out a long and overstated stretch, popping a few of his virtual joints with a wide yawn. Yea, I kinda get that. I try to avoid viruses that aren't -actively- causing trouble myself. If I can walk by, I won't kill 'em. Though a fair few viruses have a tendency to attack navis, so it's kind of a mixed bag really. Jazz simply said, rubbing the back of his head, ignoring some of the earlier battles he's had during the day.

But as he finished his sentence, he had a sudden bunny wrapped around his waist and arms, nosing back into the bunny girl as she did so. Hehehe. Well, I suppose we could try Stephine's homepage? She can always set up a security cube to keep people from coming in. He would reply with a chuckle, giving her lips a gentle peck. Gonna need to give a me a little bit to set things up for you two though. Not sure how long it'll take, but I can get a bed and stuff set up for the two of you. Stephine chimed in. Aaaaaaand...I gueeeessss...if you wanted to, it could be a little "home away from home" for ya Prose. Not sure if ya got a safe place to rest or a netop or something, so...
A simple nod was all Jazz got in response at first, though it was swiftly becoming kisses and playful bites against his neck, mixed in with sounds that might be little growls in between, though since they were coming from the diminutive bunny girl wrapped around him, they only managed cute, even if they were meant to sound racy. The small affections he returned made her squirm and shiver against him with a giggle. She paused as a more serious question was asked and looked up, opening eyes that had been happily closed until a moment before.

"I'm fine, really! It's complicated, but I promise, spending a night in someone else's PET isn't going to cause any trouble for me or for anyone else! If data weight is an issue, don't worry; you won't even know I'm there!" At this point, she gave over trying to reassure Stephine about the mechanics of hosting her and returned to her pointed foreplay with Jazz while she waited for the transfer to take them both away. Behind his back and neck, her fingers were already seeking the right things to tug at to start getting him undressed again, and at this point it was beginning to seem as though they might not make it to a more private location if they didn't get there soon.

((FXP calculations coming once Jazz confirms the move))
Jazz couldn't help himself but chuckle at Prose as she began to paw at his back like last time, nosing into the bunny that clung tightly to his body and keeping herself happy and content at growling, kissing and nibbling at him as he would reciprocate in return at her, teeth grazing her nose gently and along her neck line, gently biting down every once in a while and giving a gentle tug at her fur. Stephine would only shrug at the bunny that clung to her navi extremely tightly, feeling around for that zipper Jazz made earlier. God you two are cute together. Alright then, Jacking Out Jazz.exe. And I really don't have reason to worry, you've been true to your word thus far, I can't see much reason to let you in the PET for a night or so. Alright, lets hop on out of here for a bit. Wonder if the Inn will let me back in if I promise to be good... Stephine would say with a giggle, Jazz groaning at not only the nibbles on him, but the absolutely stupid pun on Stephine's part.
