Chilling in Yoka

Yuki's restructuring wave collides with the giant's aura, the two forces canceling each other out... but the panel change effect remains; a sizable chunk of the area near her goes dry and barren, respectively; including the area underneath the Big Samurai, dissolving its' icy shield.

Yuki quickly feels the rush of water hitting her legs again, however, the flowing stream bringing new water in to make up for the sudden lack.

The Samurai, meanwhile, does not take kindly to this; it roars even louder at Yuki, who grabs a long shoot of bamboo and makes a mad dash for the closest grass...

The Big Samurai moves to intercept, however, its' massive frame being propelled by a burst of speed. It swings its' katana down toward her in a killing arc, forcing Yuki to drop the spear and frantically defend herself.

The two swords clash inches away from Yuki's face, sparks being shed from both from the force exerted...

Well, it would seem that the 'SPEAR SWORD' idea is completely out of the question with this guy around...

Yuki: 120 (Sword x3) (Rageclaw x3) (Blocking katana with sword!)

Terrain: 10% Sea (The small stream near the entrance; it is about knee-deep.), 30% normal (A circular patch of dirt, centered on the campfire-- the grass surrounding it was likely burned away by the heat long ago.), 10% Normal (Surrounding Yuki) 40% Grass (Everything else)
As the large raging behemoth charged right at her, Yuki quickly found herself guarding herself from the deadly sword blow and skidding back from the force of the strike. Just being able to block the rather dangerous vertical slash. As the bamboo pole dropped and rolled away, Aoi was watching the fight like some crazy anime fan watching his favorite character fighting against a unstoppable foe. "Oh come ON! What in the undernet is this guy made of?! I think the only thing we did so far is just make him mad and remove his barrier."

Yuki grunted as she focused solely on the sword bearing down on her. She needed to end this round quickly or her silver bell will be the one rung. But how? She can't focus on directing snowman down nor can she use another quick defrost so soon. She can't make the spear, nor does she have any elec chips to try and electrocute him. She was stuck without a plan. Like a mouse facing a hungry cat. Then again, being cornered didn't mean defeat and Yuki was getting tired of being over powered by this name taking pain in the ass.

As she strained to keep her ground, she quietly flexed her rage claw. The enemy was very close and focused on cutting her down. She wanted that. Having her hand flat, she made a stabbing motion directed at it's arm. Using the razor sharp talons of the claw like a knife to try and rip and tear at it followed in short succession with another stab aimed right at the large suit's gut. She wasn't going for clean kills anymore or an advantage. She was going to over kill this pain in the butt.

Staring coldly at the large samurai, she spoke in a freezing tone to her constant oppressor."If there is one thing I hate, it's underestimating someone. I apologized if I did it with you, but at this point, I am still going to snuff out your ass you over sized metal lantern." As she made her threat to the samurai, Aoi quietly slotted in the aqua needle chip into his PET. Right behind the Big Samurai, 3 needle like daggers made of water were aimed for his back. Poised for the moment where Yuki backed off before the strength in her sword arm gave way and hopefully dodging the friendly fire.

Today, Mr Samurai Ghost was going to get a cultural experience of reenacting a interesting part of ancient history.

<<ACTION!>>
1&2: Shank that mofo with RAGE CLAW!(40 damage plus slashing each)
3: Stab him in the back with aqua needle1!(20(+5 for being Aqua based) x 3 Aqua damage)
Yuki and Aoikaze struggle with each other, sword versus sword, neither giving an inch. Unfortunately, Yuki has the disadvantage when it comes to pure force; she's slowly being pushed back, heels upturning grass as they dig in.

Realizing that this can't go on for too much longer, Yuki lashes out at Aoikaze-- not with her sword, but with her Rageclaw-- and stabs the immobile samurai not once, but twice with the weapon. The samurai roars at Yuki, knocking her away from the Samurai and flat onto the ground, exactly where she doesn't want to be.

The Samurai raises its' sword and charges.

The Aquaneedles form behind it.

It swings its' sword downward, aiming to slice Yuki, who raises her sword in an attempt to block---

But the blow never comes.

The Samurai stops almost entirely... and then falls over, pieces scattering upon the ground. The three aquaneedles are sticking out of its' back.

Yuki has beaten the largest armor Aoikaze has.

Yuki pulls herself to her feet, Sword and Rageclaw still in hand, and notices it. Aoikaze is not in the armor. And the samurai armor that he had yet to touch is, suspiciously, missing from her line of sight.

Yuki: 120 (Sword x2) (Rageclaw x3)

It felt like a eternity. As the armor was bringing it's large sword down upon her, she was waiting for the aqua needles to come and finish him off. As the sword was almost brought down on her head in her vulnerable state, it suddenly stopped moving. A few moments later, bits and pieces of it's body began to fall as the helmet tumbled away, showing the aqua needles in it's back before they and the armor vanished. The giant samurai was finally defeated.

As Aoi tried to stifle his cheers so he doesn't disturb passers by, Yuki showed a look of concern at the lack of armor. There were 4 armors when she got here, but she only defeated 3. It didn't look like it left, or even jacked out(if that was possible). Something was wrong. "Aoi, do you see anything from your position?" Aoi tilted his head then replied. "Ummmm, I don't think so. Seems all clear. I think he ran away after you dealt with his large armor." Aoi gave a confident smile at how they managed to deal with the behemoth. Yuki was unfazed.

"Don't you find it odd though? Each time we fought him, he seemed very willing to kill us. Why wait? Why not finish the job? There's one entrance here and he didn't seem to go by it." Aoi suddenly released what Yuki was getting at. "You think he's invisible, don't you?" Yuki gave a nod and Aoi sighed.

"Should we go after him? He could probably take us out if we just stayed still." Yuki shook her head and smiled softly as she took a slightly relaxed position on the ground. "That doesn't sound like a bad idea Aoi." Aoi gave a smile until he realized the position Yuki was in. Either she was playing dumb, or playing lazy by the way she was sitting in the grass. "Aoi, do you think you can keep an eye on the grass? Even if he is invisible, he would leave a trail in the grass. If he comes at me, the grass will tell me where he is and where to strike him down with my sword. Besides, it's easier to roll out of the way in this position." Scratching his head, Aoi gave a cautious nod. It was a good idea, but only if the Samurai was dumb enough to attack a 'prone' enemy.

Either way, they will find out soon enough.

<ACTIO-zzzz>
1:Scan the area for any signs of the samurai leaving a trail.
2: Dodge.
3:Sword(80 damage plus slashing.)
Yuki looks around, as does Aoi. The secluded grove is silent, save for the gentle breeze rustling the blades of grass beneath Yuki, the subtle swaying of the bamboo shoots...

The area is peaceful.

Too peaceful.

Yuki hears the slight oddity in the breeze a second too late. An arrow catches her in the leg and pierces through (40), causing Yuki to drop to one knee. Yuki hears a second arrow coming, this one sounding to be aimed at her head, and frantically tries to dodge-- but the leg the arrow pierced refuses to move, causing her to flop instead of leap.

The move still has its' intended effect, regardless; the arrow strikes the ground nearby, the end of it sticking up towards her. She hears a third arrow, but she knows where he's firing from, now, and raises her sword. Arrow and blade collide with ringing clang, leaving the third arrow to drop to the ground in front of Yuki. The price of this protection, however, is the new crack running down the sword blade.

Yuki: 80 (Sword x1) (Rageclaw x3) (Freeze - right leg)

Terrain: 10% Sea (The small stream near the entrance; it is about knee-deep.), 30% normal (A circular patch of dirt, centered on the campfire-- the grass surrounding it was likely burned away by the heat long ago.), 10% Normal (small patch) 40% Grass (Everything else)
There are many ways to defeat a foe when you are facing someone far more dangerous than yourself. Use tactics, ambushes, terrain, sneak attacks, and even disable the enemy if possible. Yuki had used all of those to take down the large armors she had faced before. She was the underdog and thought and stratagized like one. Each time, she came up on top by trial and error. This time around, it's the opposite. For all this foe knows, he IS the underdog. He lost 3 times in a row in various powerful forms, and was overtaken even when he had overwhelming strength. However, he now knows the majority of Yuki's moves and has catered himself in a style in which he not only had a terrain advantage, but height, and tactical advantage. Not only that, she was pinned down and hurt bad by the arrow. She made a bad move by leaving herself open. She got cocky, and now she's paying for it.

"Damn... this isn't good.." Yuki murmured. She resisted the urge to scream from the arrow in her leg. She wasn't giving this psycho the benefit of the doubt, but with her melee weapons not made to deal with ranged foes and being unable to reach him, she needed some advice. "Aoi... are you there? AOI!" Aoi suddenly gave a meep. The whole situation turned bad so quickly. One part of him wanted to run away and get Yuki out there, but that was unlikely at the moment. She wouldn't be able to move with that arrow and she would be open if she removed it. His mind was overheating so much his face was red.

Once more, Yuki shouted on the private line. "AOI! SNAP OUT OF IT!" Aoi was at the point of tears. "i-I'm sorry.. I really messed up. If I didn't try to make that sword spear-" "Wait! What did you just say?" Aoi blinked. "Ummm, the sword spear we tried to make for the big guy. To deal with him having a better..." Aoi realized what Yuki had plan as she watched where the arrows came from closely.

She remained still for a moment staring at the archer's general direction. Very quietly, she dropped the blade softly on the ground as the new chip data came in. As it did she quickly aimed it right at where the arrows were coming and raised her arm revealing a cannon. With a loud BANG from her anchored position, she hoped to knock the Archer from his high horse or at least throw off his aim by shaking up the bamboo with the knock back and her own little grounding ability. As the smoke from the cannon cleared, she began working on her second part.

She was lucky enough that the parts from earlier weren't destroyed from the fight. They were half finished, but that was much better than before. Chopping the long shoot shorter with a blade tipped finger from her rage claw, she leaned and grabbed each part she could and made sure to make as small a target of herself as she tied the battle weary sword to her bamboo shaft with long grass, making sure it was nice and tight. Instead of using it like a traditional long spear, she was preparing it like a short spear or javelin. Using the shaft to keep the blade stabilized in flight and to give it more penetration power. Just keeping the blade on hand would be risky seeing as it was about to break. But right now, it is all or nothing.

As she held the spear in her rage claw tightly, she got in a crouched throwing position. Her goggles scanning and trying to find this possibly elusive threat and help her target it to the best of her abilities. As the final numbers and data ran through, she quietly prepped her arm for the throw. This is a one shot strike. She needed to steady her arm for the throw and strike true. Taking a deep breath, she hurled the spear straight at the archer with all her force and rage.

This, was the decider.

<<DESPERATE ACTION GOOOOOOOO!!!>>
1: Ground imbued Cannon aimed at Samurai(40 + knockback + grounding)
2: Use sword, rage claw, and unfinished bamboo spear to create LANCE OF LONGICUS
3: use SNOW goggles(passive aim) for targeting and RAGE CLAW to increase the power and range of the throw.(??? damage ??? effect)
As Yuki aims and fires her cannon atack, the remaining Samurai lets go of the bamboo shoots he previously clung to. The cannon round struck at an angle, diverted into another shoot, and finally exploded. The explosion reduced a small portion of the upper reaches of the thicket to splinters, but missed the Samurai entirely. The Samurai landed his fall, and was beginning to ready his next attack while Yuki raced to complete her weapon. It looked like the Samurai would win the race, as he brought his bow to bear, nocked another arrow, and drew the string back....

No arrow came.

Yuki looked up from her weapon, which was now completed, saw the disintegrating samurai and hurled it. The make-shift pole-sword flew right through the bamboo-skewered armored husk, and landed somewhere in the thicket beyond. Apparently, gravity worked, as the splinters and pieces of bamboo resulting from the failed cannon attack found themselves under the influence of a very strong gravitic pull. The splinters, while not especially massive, now weighed as much as lead, and had gone on to punch right through the Samurai's armor like a rain of bullets.

Now, only the arrow the Samurai had planned to fire remained.

Victory!!

As the blast scattered debris all over, Yuki quickly threw the spear the moment it was ready. While she did expect a counter, it never came. While the spear didn't make the mark, the effect was the same either way. A suit of samurai armor skewered on bamboo. Only, there was more than one and none were sword tipped. Also, a bit more gory.

"...Well.. that is rather.. interesting" Aoi said in a rather awkward voice trying to find a proper response. The blue flame didn't seem to be there, but the whole scene was pretty over the top. Like a martial arts movie ending where the guy who just wouldn't die gets impailed in a ironic fashion. As Yuki grunted as she removed one arrow, she noticed that the other one was a bit different. Downloading the data to Aoi, she picked herself up before getting the zenny data.

"So, any idea what this is Aoi?" Aoi hummed a bit as he looked through the data base to figure what the chip does. "Huh... Roll Arrow 1. Seems to be a data breaker type aimed towards chips. Pretty good find in all fairness." Yuki nodded as she tried to patch up her leg. "Either way, I think we should call it a day. You have been checking the time, right?" Aoi cocked his head and scratched his head. "The time? Sure! It's.. it's... A HOUR AND A HALF AFTER MY BREAK LIMIT! GAAAAAAH! I'M IN DEEP SNOW NOW! COME ON, WE GOT TO BOOK!" Yuki chuckled a bit as she picked up the last of the data. "Roger. Jacking out."

Her body turning white, she broke up into snow particles as she took one last look at the huge battle field. Her spear sticking among the bamboo. A symbol of a tough battle.

(JACKOUT!)
