"Oh, Seraphim, there's an opening!" Erin commented, slapping in two chips. She knew her idiot navi wouldn't do the same stupid thing twice in a row, right?
"Seraphim, prepping your spells of a- Wide Sword and Mark Ka Non. Make good use of them, 'kay?" She sighed, the battle would be over before it had properly started, thankfully enough. She picked up her homework, and stared at it for a moment, sighing. Would she be better off doing this or... She glanced back at her PET, then gave a deep groan, gnawing on the end of her pen as she looked at the homework reluctantly. She realized after a long moment that she barely understood it, and with another mournful groan, she set down to studying. Flipping through the pages, she reached out a hand toward the PET and flipped on the holographic viewscreen, wanting to watch her navi decimate the evil navis, it'd be like one of those animated television shows in the olden days that all the old people raved about. And was rewarded with her navi's continued efforts to impress the enemy heelnavis into joining him. She simply sighed, and flipped it off, going back to her work.... But she kept the sound on, wanting to hear her navi's sudden reversal after being that stoopid in battle continually.
Seraphim simply grinned as the navi fell to the ground, assuming the navi had fallen and tripped in his effort to run over to his side, wanting to be first. With this enthusiasm, his party would soon be filled! He nodded confidently at the broom wielding navi, and rummaged in his inventory, his hand disappearing into a portal of light and emerging with- his previous weapon, a lower level one, but looking like a perfect fit for the broomstick wielding navi, somehow. Seraphim nodded once more, starting to look like a bobblehead as he handed the weapon over to the heelnavi obliviously, then remembered the other one as well. He rummaged about in his inventory once more, then the giant sword emerged, slightly battered, but magnificent anyway.
"I'd like you to have these, if you are to join my party, summoner and warrior, you need weapons. They were very precious to me, but-" Seraphim sniffed and wiped a tear from his eye, "Treat them well, and hold them in your inventory as you would the most valuable key item in the game!" He wiped his nose with his gauntlet, which seemed to shiver in what could have been disgust, if it had been alive, which if of course, wasn't. The navi, teary-eyed with regret and happiness. What he needed- Was- A Guild!
"We can form a guild-thingie!" With the rather ungraceful explanation, he whipped around and spoke to Erin, "Erin, do we have a guild? Can we invite these two guys so they can be part of the awesome? If we don't have one, can we make one?" The navi was oblivious with glee as he announced his intentions.
Erin, her eyes half-closed in indreculous wonder, spoke the words, "Bu-bah?"
"Silly Erin, that isn't a name!" Seraphim replied, grinning happily, too caught up with his happiness to even notice her tone. He nodded toward his new obviously navi friends as he grinned at where he thought Erin's head was as it popped into view a couple feet away, with her face, her mouth half open and her eyes blank with the stupidity of it all. Erin actually looked at her worksheet, looking over it for a moment at the things she was supposed to be memorizing. She stared at it a little harder. Then she gave up. She read over the list of Guild names she had actually been preparing, and none really caught her eye. She sighed, and selected one at random. The fourth from the top, Andante.
"Andante, Seraphim, go ahead and invite them, I guess." She shook her head, this was ridiculous. But she supposed she'd go along with it. After all, who knew? This could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
