With the ominous beeping all around, Frio took heed of the danger it presented and kept his feet still for now. There wasn't much danger in this, fortunately for him, since the miners themselves were mostly interested in littering the field with even more mine, and no inclination to attack the navi directly.

His first shot managed to clip the injured Miner before it could get back below ground, and it was enough to put an end to its demolition days. The other Miner ducked down to place more mines, but even as it did, Frio's shock wave attack rumbled across the earth and popped it up again, making an assortment of unintelligible, irate sounds. From the sound of the beeping, it had managed to increase the number of payloads scattered about, however, as little as that meant to Frio as long as he stood still.

Frio lacked anymore weapons that allowed him to attack from distance. "Mannnn... I really don't wanna set off one of those mines.... send me the Barrier, and rageclaw chips Layla."

The operator did as she was asked. Frio's choices weee based off limited options but they would make it work. First the lion summoned forth the bubble like defense. Hopefully this Barrier would protect him in the case of a tripped mine. Secondly the berg familiar claws materialized over his fist.

"Time to get to slicing and dicing." The lion rushed the final opponent. He let loose not one, but two powerful slashing attacks with the sharpened claws. The first came from the left horizontally. While the second followed suit as a rising uppercut. Without any misses, the battle could come to an end right now.

[IciclePunch] - Ready next turn.
Running low on options, Frio took a small risk crossing the remaining distance to the Miner that was left, so he could slice it up with his claws. Fortune was with him this time and he managed not to step on any of the hidden explosives. The Miner had hesitated to see if he would, and had only the time for a brief moment of panic when the lion reached him unharmed, before the claws came down and put an end to the skirmish. Little remained on this particular battlefield, but Frio was able to salvage a small amount of currency for his efforts before moving on.

Frio relaxed and grabbed his winnings traveling a little bit further into the ACDC net he asked, "Who's next on the deletion list" Cracking his knuckles as he surveyed the area. It wouldn't be long till the Navi had fresh competition.

((requesting battle 2))
Moving right along, Frio wandered through a different part of the cosy ACDC net, until he happened upon a slightly peculiar sight. It was a series of fixtures that looked a bit like a stand-alone kitchen, only there was nothing else around them, similar to what one might find in a display room, rather than a home. Two broad counters formed a pair of 'L' shapes as Frio came into view of them, sturdy and anchored to the ground, with a marble veneer finish. A gap in the middle, where one might expect an appliance of some kind to rest, housed a fairly modern looking stove virus. It had the shape of a traditional OldStove, but was comprised of chrome fixtures and professional curved edges. It also appeared to be cooking away with its grill closed, while a pair of bunnies bobbed in place, watching it.

On the far left end of the left counter shape, a Melody virus bounced gently to itself, playing some kind of waiting music that drifted far enough for Frio to hear it. None of the viruses seemed to have noticed his approach yet, partially because there was a long dining table set up in the space created by the two counters, complete with places set at either end. While they were distracted, it seemed like Frio would be able to get the jump on them, if he wanted to.

Frio found his next challenge to be a little different then the norm. His four new enemies where unsuspecting of his presence. Slow and quite, he made his way a little bit closer, stalking his enemies much like a cat would before pouncing. Layla downloaded their two go to chips for ranged attacks. The Shotgun, and Cannon chips would hopefully make quick work of the two electric rabbits.

As per usual, Frio held an open palm towards his enemies, except this time it was both palms. One for each attack. First the speedy shotgun blast headed towards the Bunny to the left of the ModernStove virus. Almost simultaneously, the more powerful Cannon attack burst from his right palm. This attack flew towards the second Bunny virus. "If this was real life, I could cook you rabbits in the stove." Frio joked.

Sure to have garnered the attention of his enemies, Frio needed to say alert. Unaware of the Melody viruses abilities. He knew that the stove could spit fire that not only burn, but destroy the landscape as well. A well timed dodge to the left would hopefully keep him out of trouble.

Creeping up on his unsuspecting foes, Frio took his sights, and sprung his surprise attack with a ruthless level of efficiency. The two shots rang out, and both bunnies scarcely had a chance to turn about, registering a bare moment of surprise before they were both eliminated. Sprays of shrapnel and impact marking sullied the kitchenette's fixtures. The Melody cut off in its chirpy tune, making a startled trill of music that sounded somewhere between shock and dismay, then began bouncing about in a very wild panic. There wasn't much aim to its movements, but on one bounce it came coincidentally close to Frio himself before hoping away again. The lion navi was able to dart out of the way, only to watch the Melody crash down in the middle of the table instead, to the sound of splintering wood and clattering silverware.

The Stove began to ring, a time alarm sounding a continuous bell which no-one was currently around to stop any more. Trails of smoke began to curl from the appliance, black and smelling faintly like baked goods, until, after a few more seconds, the front hatch burst open in an eruption of flame and burned ginger biscuits that destroyed the remains of the table, but fortunately missed Frio himself, on the other side. The scent of blackened ginger cookies filled the air.

Frio rushed towards the stove virus. Once he was in striking distance the lion navi punched out with an icicle covered fist. The attack was aimed directly at what Frio assumed was the viruses stomach area. Hoping for an easy deletion, he didn't stay focused on the first target.

Turning towards the Melody that was bouncing around, having some kind of awful fit. "Now now, don't panic, you are next on the list."

"PileDriver1, Download!" Layla supported her navi from the real world. sending what could potentially be one of their strongest chips... if it ever hit its combo.

The jackhammer appeared on the battlefield right in front of it's fury friend. Frio grabbed it, and charged at the bouncing music note. In an attempt to run the enemy through, he lunged the bottom of the hammer towards the enemy igniting the chips attack. If all worked out that would be the end of the battle. Just in case it didn't he prepared for a third attack.

"RageClaw1, Download!" Layla spoke with excitement. She was all into the battle, and her navi seemed to be doing well for hiself.

If the other attack wasn't enough to hurt or finish the Melody, then Frio would lash out again with his trusty claws. Using his left paw the navigator would try to give the music note a "haircut", by chopping away at the top of its head.

Description: Creates an impressive bear claw. Can be used to slash or throw enemies or objects.
Duration: Until Overridden/Broken. Breaks automatically after 6 uses.

After the initial gout of fire cleared, the shiny stove virus looked down at its open tray with a downcast expression, examining the broken pieces of blackened gingerbread with a dejected sigh. Mostly it just seemed upset that it had burned its treats, but the virus only had a moment to wallow in its disappointment before Frio closed the gap and put it out of its misery with a solid, chrome-rending punch.

The Melody began hopping about the increasingly ruined kitchen with more fervour and panic, bouncing off the counters and generally going haywire in its wide-eyes panic. It took Frio a couple of attempts to actually pin the virus down, but after an initial false swipe he managed to catch the terrified musical note it and claw it apart.

A brief inspection of the now destroyed display kitchen revealed a small amount of zenny amongst the viral detritus, as well as a capsule of data that seemed left over in the remains of the stove virus, which he would be able to use as battlechip data.

"Good job Frio." Layla congratulated her navi. "We got some more money and a little bit of fire power. Lets jack out for now, and go run some errands." She downloaded the winnings, while Frio flexed with both his arms held high. Giving off a strong pose before he beamed back up in to his PET.
