The Green Heel-Navi aimed his unarmed hand again at Megami as she put her own hand up. Both formed guns and fired. Three small shots rapid-fired from the Green Navi's second Vulcan1, but only one pegged Megami's shield, shattering it but leaving Megami unharmed. Left open, the solid Shotgun round from Megami smashed into the Green Heel-Navi, and made him stumble backwards (-60HP to Green Heel-Navi).
"Ah finally. A worthy challenge," he said as he wiped some green liquid off his chin. He rushed forward with his BambooKnife as Megami raised a barrier. Then he swiped his BambooKnife through the air just as Megami ducked behind the Shrine. Putting it between her and the Green Navi.
The Green Navi suddenly stopped short of his swing, his blade slashing through the air, missing the shrine. "No." He backed up a pace. "Do not make me destroy this to get to you."

Megami had swung her body around as she faced the shrine, and kicked backward getting her distance from it. Obviously, the NetNavi had some respect for this structure, and who was she to give him difficulty by trying to use it for her cowardly purpose. However, the structure also would aid her in her purpose: that of using the environment to its purpose as she had looked towards the strange obstacle and remembered something interesting...
"Xen-kun," Megami called to her Net Operator, "We can use that building!"
Xenneth was not sure what Megami meant at first. If anything, he was completely lost. His head tilted seeing the structure and how it separated himself and Megami. It was in the way, and probably a saving grace considering it was like a big obstacle. The only way that it would probably not help is if they were fighting those batty viruses like be-
"Ah!" Xenneth gasped, "Sounds waves!"
Xenneth remembered in the lesson why those viruses were so fearsome. The moment he had pulled up the information, he bit the pencil and chewed its eraser as he read the data on the viruses. Gaining "ground" against one of them was near impossible because of their attacks. With that in mind, Xenneth had reached his hand into his side pouch, slipped from it that same Battle Chip that he had been using so many times before as a simple blaster, and hoped he was not wrong this time in his studies.
"Pulsar Lv. 1! Battle Chip in, download!"
Megami's right arm became aligned with a blue array that became equipped. Her eyes went to the shrine structure as her feet caught the ground and slid. She had attempted to distance herself away from it, and making as if she was aiming slightly towards the green Heel Navi, she had slightly changed her trajectory towards the shrine structure itself as she had pulled the trigger program releasing a blast of compacted sound waves from the antenna.
"Please, hit!" Megami begged. After all, she was not sure she could spare anymore energy fighting this powerful opponent. She braced, prepared to dodge, not sure if she would be able to.

Megami was not sure if this Heel Navi was helping her for his benefit or her own. Regardless, if he had time to teach her while trying to mince her, then her skills were not as good as she needed them to be. Xenneth could look at his P.E.T. not sure what to do. His next move could either put Megami at the edge of that sword and allowing it to cut through his friend's body, or it could buy them somewhat of a tactical advantage. At a moment's notice, Megami was already attempting to try to put this battle to a close.
Spin! Kick! Spin! Sweep!
This was not a dance lesson, but Megami made it look like one. Her movements kept her going back as she tried to keep out of range of her opponent's sword. Her left hand used to keep her balance while her right was reaching out, opening, gathering energy for her next attack. The angelic NetNavi soon gathered enough to make a powerful sphere that clutched in her fingers as if she had made an average sized baseball. It was with another spin in mid-dodge that Megami had added a little more aura to the sphere, bulked up its size and flung it forth.
"Divinity Sphere!"
Her signature attack launched with an outcry within close proximity and flowed perfectly with her movements. Her body spun as her hand swung out the launch of her attack, and it kept spinning as she did not look for the end result, but rather tried to keep on her toes in her elegant ballerina-like dance.
She could not afford to get hit by that slicing sword.

To Megami, survival was a top priority.
She had actually listened to the NetNavi, taking his advice to heart in order to survive. In times of strife, and existence threatened, whose advice better to take from than the person who is trying to kill you? Even if Megami knew all the flaws in that argument, she was too naïve to take them seriously seeing she was too innocent. Just this once however, it may have been her saving grace as she twist, twirled, and spun in order to evade the warrior who attacked relentlessly with his nature infused blade.
"Xen-kun," Megami called, "We must counterattack!"
"U-uh," Xenneth was hesitant, somewhat scared of Megami's fate, "R-right!"
He tossed away his fear and reached to his pouch at his side. Very few Battle Chips remained for him to use, but he knew which one would be his next. "Cannon! Battle Chip in, download!" he called out. At that moment as Megami had dodged by jumping back, she had leapt beautifully once more as she whipped her legs over her head in a graceful backflip. She sailed through the air as if wings had carried her, and landed with her right arm rising as if she was prepared for war.
The arrays of blue light had shone themselves and surrounded Megami's right upper arm down to her fingers that positioned themselves in a spread as if she was about to halt someone before her. With ease and aim, Megami positioned the weapon aiming for the Heel Navi once more, careful as she had stopped for this second to focus her fire and timing making sure he would not get away. With a single eye closed, and her target in her sight, she aimed with what she thought was an absolute hit.
"Cannon!" she cried.
*BOOM!!!* The sound of the cannon-fire cried back as it sent her reeling back to her feet with its recoil.

They sized each other up for their next attack in an instant and struck. The Heel-Navi slashed through Megami's barrier, shattering it like a rock through stained glass. His blade also shattered, leaving only a stumpy handle in his hand. Megami then blasted the Heel-Navi at point blank range, punching a sizable hole through his chest.
"... You were a worthy opponent." the Green Heel-Navi coughed as he slumped to his knees holding the wound on his chest. "Take it..." he said before tossing the handle of his BambooKnife to Megami. Then he slumped forward, and before his face could hit the ground, he was gone. A beam of green light lanced into the sky, the light reflecting off the damaged and crumbling shrine, and then was gone.
The grass swayed in the breeze for a moment, and then all was still.

If Megami was of any "Worth", she would have shown restraint even as she attacked at that last moment and not made such a mess of her shot. She did not want to be so harmful to another NetNavi, even if a battle was life or death. Even now, as he stumbled, she had taken steps forth trying to reach a hand out to him and catch him. She was too late, even as he had fallen to his knee and spoke weak words to what she listened to.
"Take it..."
Megami's hand that had reached out had swept through the air to what was tossed to her. She could not have believed it, but she held the proof right in her hand. He honored her by giving her his sword, to which shaped itself to data the next moment. She closed her eyes, transferred it for downloading as the data was sent to Xenneth along with the Zenny data attached to it. Before she could take another step to the falling NetNavi, he was gone...vanishing in a burst of light.
"Truth be told,"[font=newyork] Xenneth's voice chimed as he taken the Battle Chip into hand after the image was present. It shown that the download was complete. "..We were lucky." he clutched the Battle Chip into his frail little fist with a sigh escaping his lips.
"Then...shall we train harder, Xen-kun?" Megami asked as she turned facing the display, "We shall become stronger so that we may see that NetNavi again. Until then, let us become stronger!"
Xenneth nodded. Of course, he had to agree! This was his first new NetNavi and that was his first taste of an actual Net Battle. He had to get better for the sake of at least showing more moxie than what he done in such a cowardly fashion. If maybe he was a little more gutsy, Megami would not have dragged and shown some struggle in that battle.
"Alright, but for now, we'll log out." Xenneth had warranted, "We have explored five areas of ACDC, so our assignment is complete. Let's come here tomorrow though. I want us to go deeper into this place, and not stop so soon next time."
Megami nodded, agreeing. Her right hand reached to her chest as she touched it with her digits so gently. It emitted a glow as the next moment, Megami's body pixelated into cubes and afterwards, her data was collected by a single beam of light and zipped into the air in a flash.
