"Shit, shit, shit." Zetaman said, pulling himself up off the ground and wincing at the pain. He wasn't quite dead, but at the same time he wasn't happy to have taken such a hit. He took a moment to compose himself, and contemplate his bad luck. Not only had he stepped on a mine after being so careful, but that damned cactus ball couldn't have hit just one more time to end the fight. He looked to the blockade he had available and grinned a bit. "Send the claw chip, Vita."
"Zed, shouldn't we... Geez, you're always getting yourself hurt." She told him, sighing and loading up the chip. "Fine, there you go. I hope you have a plan. There's mines, after all."
Zetaman transformed his hand into the massive claw and grasped it lightly around his Bolt Tower. Checked his target carefully, then launched the massive spear towards his enemy.

"I know you have fun doing it, but come on, it is a little dangerous, you know." She added, letting out a cleansing sigh and then smiling. "You're doing great though. Here, I picked up some stuff that'll help us go the extra distance." She told him, plugging in one of the Mini Energy Packs and restoring energy to the Navi.

ZetaMan came across a group of viruses, a vicious lot with few enemies he never even encountered before. They were strong, obviously a danger to Zeta...But luck would have it, the viruses didn't even notice the navi's presence! Take this advantage to attack, or flee, the choice is left out in the open!

She knew that Zetaman wasn't going to accept such a situation, and could do little more than look away from the screen and load up a random chip.

Zetaman quickly activated the SetMagnet program, changing a large area of the battlefield into magnetic terrain. The viruses were quickly reduced to wobbling, helpless saps as they were forcefully moved around erratically. Some of the viruses tried to blast some attacks towards Zetaman, but they just couldn't get a shot in. Some decided to be smart and get out of the magnetic terrain instead. Zetaman took the chance by firing a shockwave towards the Spikey, hitting them all in one fell swoop. Then, a lone Kabutank emerged from the chaos, took up its cannon and roared as it fired its cannon, hitting the Elec Navi right in the chest with one of its bombs. Ouch, that had to hurt. (30)

Zetaman was knocked back hard from the attack, skidding to a stop and letting out a cough through the smoke. "Vita! Don't say anything!" He ordered, aiming upwards and taking his enemy's locations into account. He launched off his Bolt Towers, the energy forming into the now familiar spears in the air before dropping down to the ground and stabbing into or nearby his targets. He kept himself on the magnet panels in order to keep up the elemental bonuses he had. "Chips, please!" He called out loud, getting data loaded up almost instantly.
He dropped to one knee and pulled up his buster, taking aim at the Spikey virii and launching a blast of energy at them. While he waited for the shot to rebound to a secondary target, he turned to the Kabutanks and brought up his guard, a reflective shield of energy glinting around him.

None of the enemies managed to effectively dodge Zetaman's attacks as the magnets inhibited their movement, causing them to take several hits. A few viruses were skewered by Zetaman's descending Bolt Towers, but none of them seemed to be deleted. Only two spikies were subtracted from the enemy forces and unfortunately the remaining viruses who were not finding the magnet terrain to disruptive attacked. Zeta's guard reflected an explosion, knocking back the attack to the kabutank that had fired it. The two Spikies retaliated with fire blasts; one missed but another nailed him. Before he could collect his bearings, an attack from another kabutank blasted him. If ZetaMan doesn't get out of there, he could be facing serious trouble!

"No." He told her, getting up and aiming his buster. "I refuse to go down without a fight!" He called out, the response was a green ball of cactus forming in his hand.
"There." Came the calm response from outside the net.

"It's a chip. Live with it. If you want to risk your code to screw around, then fine by me. I'll just have to wait for you to get your digital ass deleted and then I'll get a new Navi. A nice and cute one. Zetagirl or something like that, so I don't waste anything you leave behind. I'm sick of having a stupid boy Navi." Vita ranted, continuing on as Zetaman stopped paying attention.

He then started to run around the ground, skirting around where the rest of his opponents were keeping themselves. He rolled past it, hopefully distracting his opponent, and then leaped into a second roll that brought him a good distance across the magnetized battlefield.

The attack did hit the Kabutank well, but what happened next was not pretty. Zetaman's quick steps did nothing when a Spikey decided it wanted off the magnets, which it did. It then let out a piercing roar and sent a massive fireball careening towards Zetaman. The fireball hit the Elec Navi on the shoulder and damaged him enough for Vita's PET to initiate its Emergency Jack-Out procedure, extracting him from the battlefield.
