As SummonerMan's data was transferred onto the Net, his entrance executed. A card, identical to the ones he used for summoning, appeared on the ground, with its blank face up. Then, a white flash of light shot up from the card's face, and by the time the flash had faded, SummonerMan could be seen standing where the card and flash had been. "Flashy entrance, eh?" he commented, as he looked around.
"Yeah, yeah, you're the best." Rose said, sarcasm obvious. "Head out there and pick a fight." She hadn't had much of a chance to see SummonerMan bust yet, so she was moderately excited.
"What no time to enjoy the lovely scenery?" He asked, in mock-disappointment, motioning towards the relatively empty net. After a quick look from Rose, however, he started off, "Alright, Ma'am, I'm off."
She sure is anxious, or at least annoyed. She needs to chill out . . . SummonerMan thought as he began walking along at a leisurely pace, looking for a fight.
Summ's First Run

Out of nowhere came three small Metools, marching like a small army. Behind them was a small Bunny virus that followed the Metools playfully, until it noticed Summoner. Just as the Bunny, the Metools turned towards Summoner and started to make beeping sounds as if they were talking. Shortly after this, they took out their pickaxes and prepared for battle.

"Well, this battle doesn't seem like it'll be too hard." SummonerMan said aloud. And, looking at his current opposition, chances were it wouldn't be.
"Well, if your as talented as your attitude and superiority would imply, then we have nothing to worry about." Rose commented. She didn't hate him, nor did she want him to hate her, but some antagonism makes things more interesting.
"We don't, so I'm willing to say I'm justified in my attitude." SummonerMan replied. "Send me the Shotgun, too."
"It's coming." Rose said, and it was. Rose had some pretty sharp reflexes, and that was something that SummonerMan definitely couldn't deny. "Regardless, we'll see how justified your attitude is after a few more battles."
"Fine with me, Ma'am." SummonerMan stated, as the shotgun materialized in his hands. The weapon, when wielded by him, looked like your average black and brown hunting rifle. This is pretty cool. Let's test it out. he thought as he gave it a quick look over.
Hoping to catch the Bunny before it could get away from the crowd of Metools, SummonerMan swung the Shotgun quickly into position, placing his hands into a good gun-wielding position. Without taking time to carefully line up his site, he focused on getting the Bunny in line with the end of the shotgun, despite any movements, and fired.
With any luck, SummonerMan thought, That might have taken out two of them. then realizing that he had remained stationary for far too long, he dived to his left, into a roll, landing in a low one knee kneeling position. He was very prepared to perform a second one, should the situation require it.
"I'd appreciate a RingLog, Ma'am." SummonerMan requested.
"Alright, Summ," Rose replied, "It's coming too." She said. And surely enough, she had been correct. Within minutes, a small log had appeared in front of him, just waiting to be sent flying towards the enemies. Checking out the size of the log, SummonerMan smiled, Wow, I could quite possibly finish the battle right here. he thought, I'll just have to try to crush the entire group with this one log. But it's pretty big, and I'm pretty talented, so I should be able to do it.
Leaning forwards, moving onto both knees, SummonerMan placed his hands upon to log. By rolling it slowly and slightly, coupled with some minor knee movement, SummonerMan repositioned the log so that it was atleast physically possible that the log could hit the Metools. With a hard, 2 handed shove, exerting a good amount of force from the bottom of each palm, coupled witn a quiet grunt due to the weight, SummonerMan sent the log rolling speedily across the field.
SUMMARY
1. Shotgun at Bunny [50 dmg, possible splash]
2. Roll/Dodge
3. Ringlog at the Metools (If they seperate, then I guess B was my target; 50 dmg, can hit multiple targets)

Since the bunny is behind the mets, the shot strikes one of them as well in its path to delete the bunny. The ringlog rolls along very slowly... though mets aren't the swiftest of virus, so it takes down one of them. The last one does manage to attack, though Summonerman's movements prove too much for it to pay attention to and he dodges.

"Well, it's not a one turn kill, but it was moderately effective." SummonerMan commented. "Send me a Cannon and we should be all set."
"All right," Rose said, slotting in the requested chip. That Ringlog had the ability to take out those Viruses, I guess the little Mets just outclassed him. She though with a smirk.
The Cannon chip appeared, in the form of a rather small metal cannon, wheels and all. In SummonerMan's hand was the end of a string attached to the rear of the cannon, apparently used to fire it upon pulling. That's interesting. Though it seems rather small. He thought. Oh well, at least it isn't boring.
"The battle should end in . . ." Summ began, turning the cannon to face the last Metool.
"Three, " He quickly lowered the barrel so that he could hit the Met,
"Two," then proceeded to tighten his grip on the string,
"One." and finally gave it a strong tug, sending the cannonball barreling into the sky with a large boom. It soon reached the peak of its arc and continued on in the Metool's general direction.
The cannon then faded out of existance, timed accurately with the disappearance of the ringing in SummonerMan's Ears.
Now won't he feel like a loser if the attack misses. Rose thought, But I hope he doesn't. I mean, we can't spend all day in one battle.

Alright, he did it. Now we can move on. Rose thought, somewhat neutrally.
"Alright," SummonerMan said more happily, "See, i told you it'd take no time at all."
"Alright, just send the Reward Data." Rose replied.
"Yes, Ma'am." Said the Navi, as he did just that, "I must say, its not too bad."
Looking through the data, Rose had to agree that it wasn't bad for the ease of the battle that they had encountered. "But this is our third Guard chip." She commented.
"Well, they are pretty useful, right? Besides, we can always just sell it to someone." SummonerMan suggested. Well, someone who wants a Guard, at least. But, I mean, having extra defense is never a bad thing, so we might as well capitalize on it for now.
"Well, anyways, continue on." Rose instructed.
"Yes, Ma'am." Summoner replied, in a somewhat sarcastic you-may-be-taking-this-too-seriously kind of way. And with that he headed out, looking for yet another match.

"Hmm. . ." SummonerMan stumbled upon this group of viruses, and was somewhat taken aback. "These guys look substantially harder than that last group." He said, rubbing the back of his head. "Though that isn't necessarily saying much."
Rose looked over their data, and quickly thought about the battle. Well, we have 3 Fire-type Boxers and 2 armored ball-like bomb-shooting beetles. How to proceed. . .
Looking at SummonerMan, she suggested he avoid attacks. "We want to go as far as possible, don't we?"
"Of course," he replied, sizing up the opposition himself, and getting into a battle-ready stance.
"Then I'd suggest staying in constant motion to avoid attacks." She said.
"Thanks. Avoiding attacks, I never would've thought of that." He said in an overly appreciative manner, making it almost worse than bold-faced sarcasm.
"Whatever, Just deal with them." Rose replied. He can be such an unappreciative jerk sometimes. He's lucky I can deal with him, because I'm pretty sure some people would've thrown him out the window by now.
SummonerMan, now realizing that he wouldn't be receiving any chips this round, decided to follow Rose's rather obvious advice and get into motion. Well then, he thought, beginning to dash around the Viruses, If I can't use chips just yet, now would be a perfect time to Show off my first Summon.
SummonerMan dashed with his upper body ducked down about 45 degrees below where it normally would be. He ran at a high speed, hoping to change locations quickly enough to catch the enemies off guard.
Not to mention the fact that his cloak trailed behind him in a pretty intense manner as he ran.
Before long, he arrived behind the viruses. Alright, I think I'll target the Beetank bedcuase Champus don't have legs, so it'd take longer. He decided quickly, as he started the signature execution routine.
SummonerMan focused his energy, and summoned a card. Said card was sent into rotation around his body, as the data loaded. It's a good thing I got over here quickly. He thought, while focusing on the card, Becuase I'm pretty much open to attack while I summon these cards.
However, in a matter of moments, the purple backed card had finished circling him, and hovered, stationary, before him. SummonerMan quickly reached his hand out and grabbed the card. He then quickly pulled his hand back in, sending it down across his body to behind his left hip while repositioning the card between his middle and index fingers. Then he swiftly re extended his arm, releasing the card and sending it towards the ground beneath one of the Beetanks. All this was done in one quick, fluid motion.
The card then shot up a column, though Mokusei was too focused on his other thoughts to figure out if it had done its job and sent the Beetank flying into the air. Hmm, I should probably request chips now, since I don't really have much more I can do without them . . .

Rose watched the scene progress, and after the Beetank was airborne, she decided to step in. I mean, I want to progress, and he can't do anything on his own.
Pulling out the shotgun chip, she quickly informed SummonerMan of her next step. "Alright, I'm sending a shotgun now."
"Thank you, Ma'am." He replied. His opinion of the previous turn couldn't have been more favorable. "I launched one enemy out of the picture, for a while, at least, and didn't get hit. This may be less stressful than I thought.[/i]
As the shotgun began to materialize in SummonerMan's grip, he dashed over towards the column, positioning said obstacle between himself and his target, one of the more central Champus. That's it. He thought, as he carefully aimed the gun, lining up the virus in his sight, hoping to perfectly snipe it out. After aiming, he steadied his grip, rechecked his aim one last time, and pulled the trigger.
As soon as he fired that shot, he quickly turned back around the column, leaning his back straight up against it, hiding himself from the enemies. Not that i need to hide, and not that they won't still find me, but it provides momentary protection. He thought. "Speaking of protection . . ." he murmured, "Could I get one of our many Guards, Ma'am?" he requested, now audibly.
Although first distracted momentarily by the fact that he was quietly talking to himself, Rose did respond relatively quickly. "Sure, here." She said, slotting the mentioned defensive chip.
SummonerMan was rather relieved when the gigantic, round yellow shield appeared. It was at least 6 feet tall, and 3 feet wide, and looked, unsurprisingly, like a Metool's helmet. Leaning closer against the Column, he pulled the Guard closer to him, causing the semi-ellipse to encase him. See, now I'm totally protected. He thought to himself. At least until this column tumbles away. . .

The shotgun blast slams into the middle Champu and the debris from the shot also mars one of the others, putting it near death. The beetank attacks, but it gets relfected. The weakened Champu then begins taking out its frustration on the column. Meanwhile, the other beetank becomes victim to gravity and begins to fall back down.

With no time to waste, SummonerMan leapt straight into action. Once the guard disappeared, after serving its purpose, Summ quicly glanced around, then focused on the Beetank who had been countered. Alright, I want to get rid of him first. He decided.
Focused on his target, he requested what he needed form Rose. "Could you send the Cannon Ma'am." Although her response was silent, the small cannon was on the ground before him soon enough, with the triggering string within his grasp.
SummonerMan spent mere moments lining up the small cannon, both rotating it on its wheels and adjusting the height of the barrel, before he stepped back, ready to fire. Grasping the string tightly, he gave a quick tug and send the cannonball through the air at the Beetank. The cannon's boom sounded upon it's activation, and it soon disappeared.
Alright, Progress check, he began reviewing, There is a Beetank over my head who should be hitting earth in a matter of seconds, 2 Champus, one injured and one not, who probably plan on attacking, and a Beetank behind me that I have shot with a cannon, and may be dead.
He began to plan, quickly, Well, I think that Beetank will probably cause damage on impact, so I don't want to be under it. I do, however, need to kill those Champus, especially based on how much damage that one did with just a couple swings. He thought, with a look at the damaged column. Well, maybe I can use the Beetank to help me . . .[/i] And with that, he was inspired to try something out of the ordinary.
Watching the two Champus, he began moving backwards, always facing them, ready to dodge away whenever it became necessary. This movement led to the eventual repositioning of SummonerMan directly beneath where the Beetank seemed to be headed.
Now all I need to do, he thought, ready to dodge or leap back at any second, is wait as long as possible, and when the Beetank gets close, dive out of the way at the last second. He continued watching, fully prepared to get out of the way. Hopefully, the Champus will choose to attack, and I'll be able to ditch one of them beneath the falling Beetank!
Rose, watching the scene played out, hadn't quite figured out what he was doing yet. Well, I'm not exactly sure what he plans to accomplish without attacking for now, but I'm sure he has some stupid plan going on. She thought.

With a quick exclamation of "Success!" and a small fist pump, SummonerMan showed his happiness with how ell his plan had worked.
"Was that really what you were trying to do?" Rose asked, not sure she could believe it.
"Of course, Ma'am. I, unlike some people, generally don't wait for things to happen through dumb luck." He said. "Now send me the HiCannon, and once I fire that, follow it up with the Sword."
So that was his goal? Why couldn't he have just done something more efficient and normal and used a chip? She wondered, slotting him in the powerful ranged chip all the same. "Sure, here you go. Although you really should be more polite."
As SummonerMan watched the larger, black Cannon appear, he replied. "Alright, I'll take that into consideration." The more powerful cannon formed with an appearance rather similar to its weaker brother. However, this cannon was far larger, with the barrel at least six feet long, and the wheels standing about three feet high apiece. Also, unlike the smaller, silver cannon, this one was a far darker shade of gray. "Thank you, Ma'am." he said, with an incredibly deep bow, as the HiCannon's form finalized, and the rope appeared in his hand.
SummonerMan, wanting to continue on quickly, didn't waste time aiming to an excessive degree. He simply rotated it so that it was facing the direction of the Beetank which he had previously shot into the air, adjusted the height with a push, and yanked on the cord. This sent the cannonball flying in said direction, with a louder "BOOM" then the smaller Cannon, but still nowhere near deafening.
Rose had understood what SummonerMan had requested, and since she had had no objections, she was perfectly willing to slot him in their Sword chip immediately after the HiCannon had been fired. The sword appeared in SummonerMan's right hand as an average sized silver blade with a golden hilt, with the section below the hand guard inlaid with a purple gem. The sword was small and light, at least enough so that SummonerMan could wield it in one hand.
Quickly dashing towards the Champu, he held his arms back behind him in a hunched over dash. He was careful to watch for the Champu's movement, in case it should try and attack him on his journey to do the very same to the virus. One quick slice should end this match, and I'll be free to move on. he thought, happily.
Upon arriving in front of the Champu, SummonerMan pulled the blade powerfully across his body, ending a slashing stroke with the blade over his left shoulder, hoping to have split the fiery enemy in two.

The Hicannon proves more than enough to blast the last tank to exist. Then, after placing himself in front of the virus, Summonerman slices down the last enemy.

"Pretty good," Rose said, as the battle came to a conclusion, "But we still need to go further."
"Yeah, whatever, I know." SummonerMan replied, uploading the reward data as he did. It's not much of a reward. I mean, we didn't even get any chips. But, it's only been two battles, and I'm still going strong. I'm sure we'll get some better rewards later. SummonerMan thought.
Rose looked over the data, and as the Zenny was automatically added to her account, she thought about the reward. Well, its a decent amount of zenny. I would have preferred a little more, but what's the rush, I mean, we still have plenty of battles ahead of us.
Turning to SummonerMan, she issued her marching orders, "Alright, Summ, move out and find another fight, please."
"That sounds like more of an order than a request, but either way, sure thing. I'm off, Ma'am, at your orders." He replied, continuing onwards with his leisurely paced stroll through the Net. I'm bound to run into some viruses soon anyways, he thought, So why waste my energy running around o find some?

As SummonerMan wanders through ACDC Net, he found himself in a perilous position. The earth beneath his feet seemed to have been churned up by a recent battle and many sections of the ground were cracked and crumbling. To his left was a large area that stretched out into empty space with no ground in sight. IOt would be a pity if he were to fall in there.
Uh oh...Looks like some viruses wanted to take advantage of the situation.

As SummonerMan continued to wander, he wound up placing himself in a disadvantageous position, something which he obviously hadn't planned for. Not only is this terrain horrible, but I don't think I'll do as well against flying viruses. he thought to himself. I mean, the Ringlog may not even work, and Summoning my column might not serve any semi-offensive purposes, either.
He quickly glanced around the battle field, taking it all in.
Rose, meanwhile, was slightly more excited. "Well, Summ, it looks like you found a somewhat more interesting battle. Can you handle it?" She said, almost mockingly. It ought to be interesting to see how he deals with this fight. she mused.
SummonerMan, by now, had decided to test how useful his Ringlog Chip and summonable column would be, however. Focusing, he made the card he required appear before him, and sent it into orbit around his body. After a few quick rotations, during which SummonerMan was once again regrettably vulnerable, the card stopped in front of him. Snatching it out of the air, he tossed it onto the ground, landing it on the panel in front of him.
As the Column shot out of the ground, SummonerMan expertly grabbed onto the edge of the top of the column, with his fingers above it, but his palms against the underside. When it reached its peak, SummonerMan used his positioning to prevent getting flung skywards, and used momentum to his advantage as he swung up onto the flat top of the column, landing on his knees.
Though somewhat dizzy, he kept his wits about him. "Send me a guard, Ma'am." he said.
"Sure thing." She replied. Though i don't know what the point of swinging up their was if he's just going to defend, He could've at least taken advantage of his height advantage while he has it. However, despite her doubts against his choice of actions, she slotted in the shield chip all the same.
This Guard however, must've been a different one from the one she had slotted in earlier, as it appeared as a buckler, featuring the same yellow and green design as a Metool's helmet, strapped to his left arm. Well, whatever works, I guess. I mean, individual Navi's programming makes chips render differently for different Navis, I guess one Navi's coding can render different chaps of the same type differently.
He looked around, remaining on his knees for the extra balance it provided him, not to mention the added bonus of making him a smaller target. He was focused on watching the Fishies that he had encountered, hoping to see their attacks coming before they arrived. Holding the guard in front of himself, he was prepared to block any blows coming his way. Although I probably could've attacked, I really would like to keep this series going, so I need to make sure to keep a balance of defensive and offensive strategies, unless the situation would allow otherwise. he rationalized.

As SummonerMan drew upon his power, the column materialized and shot into the air, carrying the Navi with it. One of the Fishy dived down to attack SummonerMan, but collided with the quickly rising column instead, taking a huge chunk out of the stone. A second Fishy attacked, just in time to be repelled by the Navi's shield and be sent hurtling back through the air. A third virus attacked, this one actually hitting SummonerMan, while the other two kind of fluttered around, circling the column.
