Oh, the IQ Difference...

Enigma, once he'd gone through the portal, walked a few steps away from it and turned around, waiting for his new partner to come on through. I hope he's as strong as he looks... He then crossed his arms and took a deep breath-- this was going to take all of his tolerance systems' powers. And, perhaps, some self-control circuits would be involved as well.
After a moment, Big also came through a portal of his own. Only, not knowing the nature of portals, stepped in head first, even through the portal was vertical. As he plummeted into the ground, an audible *thunk* was heard. Promptly removing his helmet from the earth and wiping of the debris, Big noticed that his partner had witnessed his entire failure of a teleportation.

Big instantly stood up and walked over to Enigma, and curtly said, "So, we ready?"

[REDY 4 BATL LOLOL]
Enigma was now beginning to look on the lighter side of things, and was grinning before the time Big had stood up. Been waiting, Enigma replied, just as tersely. Now, let's see how fast we can get stuff done, eh?

= Battle 1, please. =
((*Munches on his Dibs*))

Hik- I mean... Enigma and Big come across...

Metools.

Huh.

Metool A: 40
Metool B: 40
Metool C: 40

Big: 100
Enigma: 120
Enigma gave a cocky grin as he "sized up his foe", deciding just how to kill his opponents in one turn. I dunno. I think I'll double-shotgun them, he suggested aloud, and looked to Big, smiling widely. You should probably use a Shotgun too, he suggested, and nodded to the Met on the left. I'll make sure the other two die, he laughed, and looked up to Ceres, obviously relishing an easy battle.

Why do I get a bad feeling about this? the netOp muttered, slotting in both chips nonetheless. There are two decently strong navis here, and all that appears is the easiest battle for just one?

Don't worry yourself over it, Enigma replied casually, and his smile was jacked up another three notches as the tell-tale cylinder of a Shotgun formed itself on his hand rapidly, creating the Shotgun that usually meant deletion to one or more viruses. The one in the middle is annoying me most, he grinned, happy to be arbitrary. So, raising the Shotgun, he aimed carefully at the center Met-- although it looked easy, he wasn't going to mess up something that easy and embarrass himself. So, as he pulled the trigger, he made sure to aim slightly to the left, and watched as the crackling energy burst flew out from the barrel and near-immediately split into two almost identical crackling energy bursts, one racing towrads the left Met and one towards the center Met. That should be two down, he murmured, and aimed the next Shotgun just as it came to him. This time, he adjusted his aim so that he was aiming a tiny bit to the right of the "middle Met, and took a deep breath before pulling on the trigger again. He watched just as curiously as before as the shots spread and went to where the Met he'd shot at before hopefully just was right now, and to the Met on the right as well, going equally as fast as the other two shots, although those had already reached the Mets' positions.

Better safe than sorry-- use a Cannon, too, Ceres suggested, indicating the Met that had been shot at last as he slotted in one of his weakest chips.

Sure... Big, please Shotgun some of them and then use a Cannon on the Met on the left, Enigma requested politely, and then proceeded furthering his overkill. He received the Cannon with even further delight, and aimed it with even more care; slowly, he moved it so that the Cannon was where the Met should be, once the smoke cleared. He then proceeded to fire, and watch with the same odd fascination as he did the previous two shots as it sped from the barrel towards the Met group, crackling and energy-ing just as threateningly as the Shotgun blasts had. Well, Big, there really shouldn't be anything left after that, but you can hit things to be sure, if you like, Enigma suggested quietly and calmly, although he was laughing like crazy internally. And, to think, just earlier today, I was so near to death! I love all of these new upgrades... He then prepared himself to move out of the way of any shockwaves that might come back at him in retaliation, although it was pretty unlikely.

Big watched his new partner completely unload on the hapless viruses, and harrumphed. Not to be outdone, he grumbled, "Jay? Slot me in a shotgun chip, will ya?"

"Alright." Jay replied, placing the small cartridge int the respective place. "That should do, considering how this new navi is seriously kickin' ass."

"Alright, Mets..." Big grumbled. "TAKE THIS!"

Out of nowhere in particular, Big drew an enormous shotgun, as big a normal navi. With ease, Big targeted the Met of his choice, and pulled the large trigger. A deafening booming noise followed by the cracking of bullets against the ground split through the air, drawing a smile to Big's face.

"That outta learn 'em." Big smirked.

Next! Enigma proclaimed with a laugh, and began strolling off to deeper areas in the ACDC Net, motioning for Big to follow him.

= Battle 2! Go! =
"That was.... easy." Jay muttered under his breath.

"Well, of course!" Big exclaimed, following Enigma. "It was only three Mets, dude."

Double the Mets, double the fun! Ceres laughed, and didn't consult Enigma before slotting in three chips that could take them all out at once. So... Jay, is it? I don't think we've had the chance to talk much. I'm Ceres Notara, just Ceres if you like, and my navi is Enigma.EXE. Although he hasn't really used it yet, he can heal at will through his power of data control, and also, the data control gives him the ability to transform.

Want a demonstration? Enigma grinned, and speedily changed himself into a rapier, a barrel, and a hand grenade. Also... what if I didn't want the Shotguns and Heatshot, Ceres? What if I wanted to do it my own way? he snapped, frowning as the first Shotgun assembled itself on his arm. I don't want to do the same thing every turn, ya know.

Oh, I'm so sorry, Master, Ceres replied with a sort of a sneer. Next time, I'll make sure to just give you an Airshot and say "good luck", alright?

Point taken... Enigma grumbled, then turned to face Big. They're still not much of a challenge-- I'll get most of them with this, I think, but if any go inside of their helmets, you have Breaking, so that should help, Enigma suggested, and then turned to the leftmost pair of Mets to deal out some more pain. Bum... bum... bum...~ he sang, oddly happy; perhaps the ease of these fights was making him happy, as opposed to his near-defeats in Yoka Net. Hefting up the Shotgun, he fired right between the aforementioned pair, and shifted his aim to the right as the Shotguns exchanged places, old for new. Another one bites the dust!~ He fired between the center pair with the Shotgun, shots splitting up as they usually did, which resulted in four speeding shots shooting towards four unlucky Mets. Well, Big, I'm going to take the last ones... Enigma grinned, and turned his gaze (finally) upon the last pair of Mets. As the Shotgun dissipated into nothingness and the flame-decal'd Heatshot formed on his arm, he gave a wicked grin. I'm enjoying myself much too much... better stop getting cocky, he muttered to himself, and then took a deep breath before aiming the Heatshot upon the only two Mets he hadn't yet targeted. Once he was satisfied with his aim (directly between the two, as usual), he fired, and watched the flaming burst split into two; he then wondered, Does it hurt more when it's fiery...?

Nice shots... Jay, Big, take out any stragglers, kay? Just fire a Shotgun into whatever, Ceres suggested politely, and smiled as he watched what was hopefully the demise of even more Mets.

If they survive, we can still take out another four with a Heatshot and two Cannons, Enigma laughed.

Hopefully we won't have to...

True, true, Enigma replied absentmindedly, and then moved backwards and to the right a little bit, and then to the left, just for good measure; again, no getting hurt this early in.

Jay listened to Ceres, and replied in the same playful tone, "Yeah, the name's Jay Kolo. My navi's name is Big; just Big. He can... uh... break things. Yeah."

"I can do more 'n that!" Big shouted at his op.

"Then let's see." Jay countered. "Here's a Shotgun and a Cannon. Do what you do best."

"Aight. Lez do this!" Big charged forward the familiar shotgun in hand, tucking it underneath his shoulder as he bouldered forward. Just as he met the viruses face to face, he jumped high into the air with the assistance of his jet-booster. Once airborne, Big aimed right back down at the viruses, and made it hail bullets. The kickback was enough to push him even higher into the air, allowing to Big to follow up with his cannon, which looked more like a bazooka than anything else. After firing and landing, Big leaped back into position, ready to dodge....

If anything miraculously survived.

More Mets?! Enigma laughed, and stopped a good twenty feet from the group of Mets to survey them. Squinting slightly, he noticed the odd marks on their helmets, but couldn't really tell what they were; he also noticed that while there were the same amount of Mets as he'd just faced before, half of them were colored green and seemed to be more dangerous-looking than your normal Met. I don't have the firepower to take them ALL out in one turn, Enigma murmured, then began to think about what chips he could use and in what combinations to take out the virii.

Well, my suggestion is to kill two of the MetEX's with two Heatshots, and then Shotgun a Met and a MetEX, and then we'll take it from there, Ceres suggested. Big, you should probably Shotgun two of the MetEX viruses and then hit whatever one that's left that you like... ugh, I really hate giving orders...

Then stop, Enigma suggested, then thought about the plan. Well, let's see. The Heatshots should take out two MetEX's, and the Shotgun will take out a Met and cripple a MetEX... that still leaves one MetEX with 20, and... hey, nevermind! This is good, Enigma grinned. This way, Big can Shotgun the two remaining normal Mets and just kill off the remaining Met... hopefully that'll get everything, although it may leave some stragglers, he grinned.

See, I'm good for something, Ceres muttered, and picked out all three spreading chips at once and slotted them in simultaneously with three clicks. Incoming, Ceres warned, and sat back to watch the fireworks.

Thank'ee kindly, Enigma replied, and smiled as the first fire-decal'd Heatshot morphed its way onto his arm. He moved it downwards to the first green Met pair he could find, squinted, and fired, watching as the fiery burst split into two and sped towards both MetEX's. He then dismissed the Heatshot and immediately received his second fiery virus-dispeller with much relish. I've got a bad feeling about these stronger ones, he murmured, and then decided to get a better angle. He quickly blob-sprinted to the Met group's left flank and aimed from there, hoping that the shot would pass through the leftmost MetEX and go through to the next one. As he fired, he exhaled deeply, and closed his eyes. That should be two down... he thought aloud, and then circled around to the back of the virus group as he got his third and final (for now) spreading weapon, a Shotgun. Aiming carefully at the normal Met first, he made sure it was aligned directly between the MetEX and the Met before firing. He watched with mild interest as the shot did its usual split-into-two routine, and took another run back around the virus group and to Big. Well, the last three are waiting for you, bud...

If one or two survived that, you know what to do, Ceres said absentmindedly, and contented himself with fiddling with some of the PET's more obscure and mainly unalterable settings.

Once again, Big was disappointed that Enigma beat him to the attack. This time however, there would actually be some leftovers, so not all hope was lost. After watching Enigma take his turn, Big went on the offensive as well.

"Gimme 'nother Shotgun, will ya Jay?" Big asked as he charged the group.

"Comin' right up, Big." Jay replied as he placed the small cartridge in.

As Big received the gigantic gun once again, he came closer and closer to the viruses. Suddenly, however, Big came screeching to a halt, kicking up all kinds of dust and debris. The cloud soon engulfed the viruses, specifically those that Big had targeted. As the smoke began to clear, Big's outline became visible, then the view was clear. Big, standing within (his) arm's distance of the Met, with his colossal shotgun pointed right at it.

"Kerblam."

Big let loose the huge volley of blue shots, letting them streak forward the short distance that they had to and tear into ground and virus alike. As the shots pounded into the ground that there were aiming at, they caused a medium-sized shockwave that would, if Big's attack worked, hit the nearby Metool. There was a great recoil against Big; powerful enough to make even his aim sway skyward. It didn't matter, however, as the gun soon disappeared to make way for the next chip; the Zapring.

Big raised his hands up as a surge of electricity began to appear above him.
Slowly, the electricity formed a circle, then, in a blinding flash of light, created an obscenely large, yellow discus. Big caught it in his hands, and tucked it under his right shoulder as he muttered, "I've always wanted ta do this..."

Steadily at first, Big be can to rotate in a clockwise motion. Big rapidly gained speed in his spin, whirling around faster and faster until he was a blur with the electricity from the Zapring flying to and fro. Big let out a great shout, and suddenly hurled the Zapring at his desired target. A mere streak of lighting was all the disk looked like, and Big watched on as it flew to hit its mark.

Enigma's two Heatshots connect before the viruses realize what's going on, but his Shotgun is dodged. Big attempts to shoot a pair of lesser Mets, which die with that same, pitiable 'Meep!' of a death cry.

Big also fires- er, throws, rather, a Zapring at the last remaining MetoolEX- which connects just as the very same Metool fires off a Shockwave which Big dodges.
