Inside the shop

"Hmmm... Well, looking at your Navi's stats... this should come to... 15500 zenny," Suitachi remarked, already having the upgrades.
"This isn't a supermarket, miss. Pay up first," the shopkeep commented. But as Kasumi reached for her PET to extract the money, the amount requested had already been extracted!
"Oh, good. Now, you have a nice day," the glasses-man stated, inserting something into the register.
Looks like you can have the upgrades now.

Kasumi cringed at the number of money she had to fork over, but she nodded. She could soon regain that ammount, now that XIII was that much stronger this time.
"thank you.." She said, as she walked out the door of the shop.

Wes arrived from ACDC and headed right for the shop. He looked over the price lists before stepping up to the counter, "Hmmm.... hey, Majinman, you want anything? Wait, huh?"
Standing on his shoulder was a blue heelnavi, in hologram form, "I'm sorry to correct you, but its pronounced Meekman. I do hope my giving advice does not offend you... Oh dear, I really should answer your question... how rude of me. Thank you for the concern, but I must decline. I feel that I should try to earn my own money if I wish to purchase anything. Please, just concentrate your efforts on your better, stronger navi, Junior for now." The navi bowed and then disappeared.
Rather than question it, Wes just raised an eyebrow and turned back to the list. He figured that must have been some kind of disguise, though he didn't know why one was needed at the moment. Of course, if he said anything, that would ruin the illusion and cause conflict with his navi. Once they were alone he'd ask, "Okay... so Junior, Custom Expansions and Process Upgrades?"
"Sure, sounds fine." Junior nodded his consent.
Wes then tried to figure out how many of each to buy. Looking it over, he could make the most of his money buying two of each. If he added correctly, doing so would leave him with exactly 10 zenny left. As long as he didn't need to bribe anyone before completing at least one battle, that would be perfect. He then approached the counter and said, "Okay, I'll take two Custom Expansions and two Process Upgrades for 7000z. Any objections?" Wes waited for his math to be checked and the upgrades to be handed forward.

Trenn walked into the shop, still looking Wiz over, and waited silently in a corner for a moment where Suitachi wouldn't be busy. He'd need his undivided attention for this.

Polonius walked by, looking at his zenny from the war... "Hmm... what should I get-- Ack!" he screamed out as he walked by a kid, spilling some of his Zenny on the floor. "Oh geeze... sorry sorry!" he muttered as he picked it up. re-counting it again, he said "Huh... I could have swore I had 200 less.... alright either way... I'm really sorry about this mister?" he asked the person in the corner.

"It's fine." Trenn said, glancing at Polonius and going back to looking Wiz over. Any other time...

Suitachi made a weird face at Wes. "Oh...?" He stared.
About two minutes later, he shrugged and turned back to the register.
...And yet Wes' transaction had been completed...

"Huh..." Polonius looks confused as he looked at the person, glancing at his PET then looked around the shop waiting for his turn. Soon DNR pops in as a hologram as expected, or unexpected, and begins barraging the poor man with questions
"Hey guy whats your name? Oooohhhh What's wrong? Feeling down? What do you do? What's your favorite color? Whose your navi? What's his elemental affinity? Where did you get that watch? Love your Ponytail...." were among his arsenal, looking over the person's shoulder with a devilish smirk.

Trenn twitched near-imperceptibly, his only reaction minimizing Wiz's diagnostic sheet and moving to lean against the wall near the entrance.

As DNR continued his barrage, Polonius walks towards Suitachi, seeing as its his turn. "Let's see... 4 sig upgrades... that's 4200? With... let's see..... An HP upgrade.. that be 4000.... and a Soul Cross Expansion... Yeah that's 3000... And I think that's it..." he says with a nod.
"Hey guy where your going? Oh don't be that way! C'mon, I'm a damn doctor, I can help! Please? Please Please Please Please...." DNR continued, harrassing the poor man.

"Leave me alone." Trenn breathed. His voice seemed- dead... restrained... but there was something lurking underneath.
His eyes never raised to lock with DNR's.

Suitachi Held up a piece of seemingly blank paper in front of his face, and looked it over for a few scant moments. When he lowered it-
-a woman stood in his place. She looked at something directly to the left of Polonius, prompting him to look.
Suitachi stepped forward from Polonius' left and hopped over the counter, then patted the girl on the head. "Done." he said simply, smiling.

"Thanks." Wes said. He then walked to the door and got all the parts he needed installed, "Well, we're poor again. Where should we head to now?"
"Head to the beach! That'll be the best place to find a busting partner for me." Majinman insisted.
"Well, since you spoke up first, I guess I'll head that way then." Wes replied. He finally exited the shop and caught a ride to his destination.

"Alright thank you mister Suitachi..." Polonius nodded as he turned back towards the exit. "Now we're off towards the Chip store... C'mon DNR, don't hassle him too..." he says, turning off the hologram.
"Tu no has visto la ultima vez de mi!" screamed out the pissy looking navi as they were off towards the Metro station.

Trenn looked around. All the other customers had left.
He approached the counter. "Suitachi..." He set the PET lightly on the counter, face screwed up with emotion, "...my navi, Wiz, used to be able to fly when I used him before. I've looked over his code numerous times, and he should still have the ability- yet he can't fly without Navicust support, now. I figure you might be able to find something I can't." Trenn tapped a key on the PET, pulling up the diagnostic of Wiz, and swiveled the PET on the counter so it faced Suitachi.
He looked up at the man with hopeful eyes.

"Well, I'd say that the specifications of his navi type have been regulated to that of the normal custom navi. If one could alter their navi to do whatever they wished without regulated programs, we'd have wars of gods going on at all moments of the day. Not very fun when you're trying to browse the internet and you suddenly become collateral while trying to speak with your wife online. As such, the easiest way of explaining it in layman's terms would be that your navi is that he's your net browser, not your personal flying device. If you want a flight simulation program, you'll have to install the right parts. Your 'computer' doesn't have the space or the inclination, thus you'll have to upgrade it and then install the flight simulation 'mod routines enabling your navi to 'fly', as you said." Suitachi paused, taking a moment to pick up two programs.
"These two programs are Floatshoes and Airshoes. They're navicustomizer pieces that you'll have to install if you want your navi to truly fly. If you want to initiate an alternate routine, you could use sequenced microbursts to forcefully remain afloat. This in the long run would damage your navi." Suitachi shrugged. He obviously didn't think too much of the new multinavi upgrades.
"Now, if that's the only thing you have to talk about, is there anything you'd like to purchase?" He spoke somewhat listlessly, bored with the whole deal. He resumed his NP- His duties as a shopkeeper, bringing out a fine cloth to clear the fingerprints off the countertop.

Duke walked into the navi shop, only catching the last bit of the previous conversation. "Hey," he said absentmindedly, approaching the counter. "Can I get...an HP Memory, a NaviCust expansion, and..." he glanced down at his PET and counted... "Four process upgrades?"

"I'll be waiting," Suitachi commented to Trenn as he got out the upgrades for Duke.
"Your total comes to 9700 zenny, have a good day, and remember to have the money beforehand," the glasses man stated, handing the upgrades to Duke, swiping his PET, subtracting the required amount and putting it in the register, and handing the PET back.
"Decided yet?" the shopkeeper asked, turning to Trenn.
