NetNavi

Name: Terra.EXE
Gender: Female
Element: Wood
Subtype: Ground

Appearance:

Terra takes on the appearance of a young adult, of height 5'9" (175cm) and weight 180 pounds (81kg). Her skin is very pale, almost white, if not for the hint of brown that remained, and her eyes possess the Krysarch's greenish-blue irises. Terra's green hair is tied into a severe ponytail with a leaf-motif hair tie, with the hair flowing down to her ankles. Its green is very light, almost luminous in the right light. The hair that is not tied into the ponytail hangs loosely over her eyes as bangs, as well as down just past her ears. Her face mirrors that of her operator in its softness, yet it also has a deep serenity about it that Scarlet doesn't have.

Going down, Terra's Navisuit is a dark green leotard, worn over a very curvaceous figure that exaggerates features modeled from her operator. Her somewhat toned arms are encased in a hard greyish rock, which form a tough gauntlet. These flow into to some padded brown gloves, which has her emblem on its back: a green leaf around a grey circle. Despite the thickness of these gloves, Terra is able to feel the earth through them very finely. Terra wears a pair of comfortably loose brown shorts, which go halfway down her thighs. Her feet are clad in standard Navi-style brown high-cut boots, with a grey trim. The grey trim changes design based on what terrain type Terra is currently on.

Personality:

Caring and quiet, Terra carries a deep loving touch that signifies her status as shepherd of the mountains and tender of the grass. When she is in anyone's presence, it seems as if she is removed from the world, as she talks very softly, and takes a while to vocalize her thoughts. However, she has no trouble picking up whatever is said by anyone, and is by no means an idiot. On the contrary, Terra is quite intelligent, deriving everything she knows from the streams of network data coursing through the ground. Her actual social know-how is slightly limited, however, and she is still learning.

Terra maintains a deep bond with her operator Scarlet, often likening her to an older sister. She also has a rather odd leaning towards petite girls, which may be the reason for her Support Program's appearance.

Custom Weapon:

Terra's main weapon is the ground itself. She is able to draw a chunk of whatever is beneath her and shape it into any form she likes, whether that be weapon, shield or accessory. If there is no ground to obtain materials from (such as a deep space setting), she simply generates a small sphere of earth and takes what she needs from it.

Signature Attacks:

  • Terraform: Fertile Soil
    | Large Terrain: Soil | 1 TCD | 40 SP |
Coming from a soil-abundant network, Terra knows how to copy the soil's form better than anyone. Getting into her natural territory, the soil synchronizes with her elemental alignment, which increases her agility and improves her ability to sense incoming attacks through the ground.

  • Terraform: Tough Steel
    | Large Terrain: Metal | 1 TCD | 40 SP |
After analysis of the Science Labs' metal terrain composition, Terra acquired the ability to copy the ground's makeup into her terrain-change process. Transforming the ground beneath her into a normally unbreakable steel alloy, it amplifies electrical currents running through it, increasing damage done by attacks of that nature.

  • Terraform: Violent Magma
    | Large Terrain: Lava | 1 TCD | 40 SP |
Using a sample obtained from an external source, Scarlet inputted the ability of fire terrain production into Terra's systems. This lava amplifies water-based attacks, as well as dealing damage to unprotected non-Fire Elementals.

  • Terraform: Rushing Waters
    | Large Terrain: Sea | 1 TCD | 40 SP |
Observing the powerful floodwaters generated by the Tsunami metavirus, Terra has adapted her terraforming ability to generate a sizable flood of water. This water is slightly briny, allowing it to easily conduct electrically-aligned attacks and amplify their effectiveness.

  • Terrascape: Radiant Planet
    | Stage Change: Grass + Sig Chill 2 | 5 TCD | 180 SP |
Overcharging her Terraform processes, Terra unleashes an all-encompassing change towards the landscape, covering it entirely in rapidly-growing greenery. The surge of energy gained from the mass conversion restores one of her previous abilities.

  • Terraforce: Spirit of Nature
    | Teleport | 2 TCD | 80 SP |
One of the many interesting facets of the terrain that spans every network is the embedded data transfer lines within the CyberPanels. An ingenious method of dramatically increasing throughput of small data packets, these ultra high speed lines are usually only traversable by those packets, as they follow a specific format. Through this signature, Terra converts her form into compatible packet data, warps through the data lines, and reappears somewhere else in the blink of an eye.

  • Terraforce: Protector of Nature
    | StoneBody: 1 Turn | 2 TCD | 80 SP |
Directing her Terraforming ability into herself, Terra allows her skin to be infused with the strength of the earth, turning her skin into a near-impenetrable rocky defense. The ability is extremely taxing for her, causing her movement to be severely hampered, as well as only lasting for a short time. Breaking through the defense through sheer force will hurt her more than usual, as the infusion works against her.

  • Terraforce: Blessing of Nature (2 Instances)
    | Status Cure | 1 TCD | 2 Instances | 60 SP |
Drawing upon restorative data from the network's self-maintenance processes, Terra refreshes a target from any errors that had plagued them before.

  • Terraforce: Force of Nature
    | Microburst | 1 TCD | 40 SP |
Using her terraforming abilities on the air generally results in a rejection signal, as the network sends back a cancellation for any invalid input. This ability concentrates these invalid requests into a single point as a Denial of Service-style attack, resulting in the network forcefully de-allocating the airspace and creating a brief vacuum. This tends to propel most anything for a fair distance -- basically, an air cannon.

  • Terraforce: Savior of Nature
    | Heal 60 | 2 TCD | 80 SP |
Drawing upon restorative data from the network's self-maintenance processes, Terra patches up a moderate amount of damage from any target she chooses.

  • Terraskill: Earthen Armor
    | 20 HP Planar Casing | 20 PP/80 SP |
A lot of network resources are inside the expansive terrain features that span almost the entirety of all of the Internet. Terra borrows some of these resources to create a defense that blocks a small amount of damage to her. As a result of her siphoning off the terrain, the defense inherits the elemental properties of the terrain. It depends on this property to function, and thus fails to work on non-elemental terrains.

  • Terraskill: Earthen Barrier
    | 20 HP Planar Barrier | 20 PP/80 SP |

  • Terrascape (Archiver): Raging Landslide
    | Stage Change: Mud + Strengthen 20 | 3 TCD | 120 SP |
Overcharging her Terraform processes, Terra unleashes an all-encompassing change towards the landscape, summoning a cascade of thick mud to devour the entire field. The surge of energy gained from the mass conversion enhances her strength.

  • Terraforce (Archiver): Spirit of Disaster
    | Teleport | 2 TCD | 80 SP |

    | Heal 60 | 2 TCD | 80 SP |
Drawing upon restorative data from the network's self-maintenance processes, Terra patches up a moderate amount of damage from any target she chooses.

  • Terraskill (Archiver): Persistence of Will (3 Instances)
    | 30 HP Planar Barrier + 30 HP Planar Casing + 1-Hit Planar Shield | 2 TCD | 240 SP |
Forcefully assimilating Carbide's abilities into herself, Terra grows out a protective blue-grey rocky carapace from her body. The main source of this growth is a single spire that extends out from her back between her shoulder blades, which also projects an invisible energy barrier around her.

  • Terraskill (Archiver): Vigilance of Will (4 Instances)
    | Haste 2 + Dodge | 3 TCD | 480 SP |
A unique aspect of Terra's senses is that she is able to patch herself into the network's ground-based data lines to parse the network's unending datastreams as sensory data, in addition to her normal senses. Since her venture into a Zero-Access Low-Level Area, this ability has expanded greatly, granting her uncanny evasion abilities.

Graphical Model Overrides:

  • Terra Archiva: Ahdae/INFANT

At the base of Terra's coding is the Terra Archiva. It is a terrain analysis program, gathering bits of ground-based data here and there found in the networks, which Scarlet calls 'Geodes'. These Geodes are used in gathering detailed information about the grounds that are the pillars on which all of the Internet stands on. The Archiva is where Terra's ground-manipulation capabilities come from. Devoid of any Geodes, this is the Archiva's first form, the Ahdae, or Infant stage.

At 1'2", to call the cream white-colored Infant stage small would be rather unjust. A medium-size oval rock with a pointed top forms the head. Two large black eyes dominate the lower part, with the rock splitting halfway up to form three thick spires. The body is short and pudgy, connected to the limbs with no visible joints, and is continuous to the legs. On the chest is a hollow circle. The arms are simple fat cones that do nothing except look usable.

Even though the Infant stage looks relatively harmless, its terraforming capabilities are much stronger than Terra's human form. Much of this potential is locked up, however, and only a small fraction of the Archiva's ability is used in the Infant stage. This fraction is slightly less than half of Terra's abilities in her human form.

Support Program

Name: Carbide.SP
Gender: Female
Element: Null
Subtype: Shield

Appearance:

Visual Representation

Carbide stands at a cute 4'8" (142cm), weighing at roughly 105 pounds (48kg). Her sparkling greenish-blue eyes match that of her master's, often depicting her constant state of cheerfulness. Her short hair is black, tied to her left side with a blue-grey ribbon. Her attire has a blue and black color scheme, and consists of a crop top and a pair of short shorts. Her feet are completely bare.

Her body is perforated in many areas by growths of blue-grey rock, which are the main point of her ability. Her cheeks are covered with protective plates, and spires of rock protrude from her spine. Her arms and legs are also covered at the sides with these growths. All of these rock formations on her body are retractable, though Carbide prefers to leave them as they are.

Personality:

Almost like a complete opposite of Terra, Carbide often lets on what's on her mind, and is generally quite enjoyable to be around, being a symbol of cheerfulness and playful attitude. Most of the time, Carbide is a bit slow on the uptake of things, contrasting Terra's all-conscious thought process. In combat, however, she is fast and decisive, often going out of her way to protect her host, Terra. Carbide is also somewhat lascivious in nature, specifically towards females of a mature disposition. Even so, she isn't particularly attached to any characteristic, and is far from picky about genders. Having been with Terra for most of her existence, however, she has Terra for most of her acts of affection.

Signature Attacks:

Terraskill: Reflex Armor
| 20 HP Casing | 20 PP/80 SP |
Carbide's rocky perforations can extend themselves in the blink of an eye to intercept attacks from any direction. Unlike her rocky shields, however, these only work up to a certain point, after which they shatter.

Terraforce: Knight of Nature
| 3-Hit Shield + 3-Hit Planar Shield | 3 TCD | 120 SP |
Inspired by the IronShield Battlechip, Carbide goes above and beyond to produce an impressive set of rocky shields, drawing both from the chip as well as her innate ability. The result is a pair of twin shields, one of regular quality, and another that takes on the property of the ground that she drew it from, both of which are much stronger than her previous shields.
