So far...
We have my alliance. I believe it's Lego/Zero/Hiko.
MOVING THROUGH ALLIED COUNTRIES IS FREE OF TURN COST.
MOVING TAKES 1 TURN. OF YOUR ALLOTTED 3.
I advise those that haven't yet to:
-Choose a country
-Name it
-Color it
-Get an alliance
As for defense? It takes one turn also.
You may build any sort of barrier...
But it all counts as the same. XD Put the number of turns you've put into Attack, Defense, or Moving at the bottom...how much damage you do, how much protection you have, and how much you've moved. Oh, and creating units counts as Attack. It takes up a turn.
There is no set thing...
i.e., you can have 3 turns of defense and no attack, etc.
Movement types:
-Land: bridges, land masses
-Sea: Obvious, movement slower than Land
-Air: Anywhere, but movement is slower than others
Land can move 1 country at a time. Sea, moves instantaneously to desired location, but one-turn delay for attacking.
I'M ADAMANT ABOUT THIS.
NO DOING HUGE-ASS GRAPHICS! THAT MEANS YOU, TWI!!!

As for attacks...
You can use a symbol for your troops, and move them accordingly, hopefully the size of 1/3 of a country as to make things easier.
Moving into allied countries has no effect; not even a turn cost. Moving into neutral will attack them, if you wish; enemy declared countries will be an automatic attack. There's a simple 10-pt health system. One unit of a type does 1 pt. Simple as that. Any defenses basically put -1 on the attack, based on how much there is.
YES, THIS MAY BE A BIT COMPLICATED, BUT IT'LL WORK BETTER.
What you can't do:
-obstruct the whole damn map
-god mod with attacks
What you CAN do:
-about everything else XD
-This means your unit, your country defenses, but they really all count as the same thing
Attacking other units...
Each unit has, well, 1 health point. Attackers do 1 DAMAGE POINT! So, basically, it's a duke-out...
So, in summary...
Defense: One turn of any type of defense gives one df. pt
Movement: Allied countries are no cost, all others are 1 turn per distance unit
Attack: 10-pt health system, defense essentially adds another point to health
Units: Edit in your army representation; should be smallish, about 1/3 of a country. Use arrows to show where they've gone/are going.
Types: land can move on land, normally; sea moves to location but has a one-turn delay; air can move 1/2 a country per turn anywhere on the map
'Country': use the width, WIDTH of 7 as the measurement of a country when using air units. Yes, they move slow, but are pretty tough.
Wars: when units attack each other, they do 1 dmg point and have 1 pt of health. HOWEVER: NOT MENTIONED BEFORE...
Air has 2 HP. When attacking ships, it does 2 dmg.

Rule Edits: The objective of this game is to conquer the world.
Any un-taken countries are first-come, first-served.
Once countries/factions are defeated, all properties are considered forfeit to the person that STRUCK THE FINAL BLOW. Not the alliance. Alliances can be negated/left at any time, it doesn't take an action.
Bridge destruction counts as terrain altering.
