I'm thinking about making an avatar that says in giant red letters: PORNOGRAPHY

Here's my suggestion:

You can keep the yuri/yaoi avatars as long as there's no nudity or overly explicit images in the avatar.

If you do not like yuri/yaoi, then just look away or ignore it, or if you want to fight back in some way, do so non-explicitly.

Remember free speech!

Or just, you know, TURN OFF AVATARS.

You could even specifically block someone's photobucket account by right-clicking and selecting the right thing.

Heh heh... Let this forever be documented as the Yaoi/Yuri wars...
Well, softcore Y/Y.
Anyway, that's hardly a problem to me... I see a Y/Y av, I just think to myself "Oh, it's Atrus" or "Oh, it's Shuryou." None of this "Fwaugh! Evil anime porns!" that some people seem to be afflicted with.
This new development has, however, forced me to read usernames to determine who's who. XD
To this war, I am a conscientious objector...
Is it okay if I stand silently between the warring sects with my awesome yet slipshod avatars, homemade or otherwise?

EDIT: Nevermind, found out myself.

I saw phoenix's avatar and thought I had posted in this thread during my sleep, and had somehow reverted my avatar to the kitty one. How silly of me, what a lark.

I wonder how long people will keep these avatars..MAYBE FOREVER!

Maybe... too bad mine is all smushed. I already cropped 1/2 the damn pic D:
