Cool a megaman site with people on it O.O
So, um, I really don't know what to say about myself so if you have a question go ahead and I'll do my best to answer them. Oh, but before there is any confusion, I am only really fammiliar with the Megaman Battle Network series, for they are my favorite and I have got almost all of them ((All I need is #3 Blue and White!!)) All other ones I'm gonna have to do a little reserch on ^^""
And also, you guys are gonna have to think of another nickname for me cause guess what my usual name is?? That's right!! Lan!! It was the name of all my RP characters that I do. So I bet someone else is already is already the origional Lan though, so I have no idea what to call myself !!xD

Well, there's absolutely no real canon here so I'm probably going to have to say using "Lan" as a character name is out of the question. ^^;

Anyways, welcome to the board! Your normal name will probably do fine, but yeah, "Lan" is pretty corny on a MegaMan forum. Our forum is based on the MMBN games, so you're fine; I've only played a bit of 2 and 5. Before you make a post in the registration section, I would definitely recommend reading the rules and some other peoples' registrations. Get an idea of what characters are like (no existing ones please) before you make your own so that you don't get yelled at and your ideas don't go to waste. So, welcome, read the rules please, hop on the chat from time to time (General La-De-Da > RE:RN Chat) and have a good time!

I assure you that there is no need to worry about me going off and copying others characters and making an idiot of myself. I know to read the rules xD. Glad to know that it's based off the MMBN ones, because I am clueless about the rest.
I do have a question though. Where do I find where all the other navi names are so I can make sure I don't accidenly copy someone??

It's in the Registration forum, New Users section, or in the Information Databases under Navi Profiles.
Also, if you copy someone ELSE'S, that's just an accident, but we mean like making Protoman your navi or something. Or Master Chief your navi. Nothing that's from an obvious source can be copied, or from a source at all.
In fact, even referring to characters in your descriptions is frowned upon. Be original. ^^;

Errrrm. If you do "copy" off of an appearance, I would suggest not revealing it. xD
Maybe... use some elements of it...? I wouldn't mention any character names but that of your Op and Navi in the registration if you want it approved.

Yeah I would keep everything else different, like clothes and such, but I mean the look of the character only.

More like not allowed.
And despite the multiple commands to read the rules, we're not strict, I assure you. Unless you go off and be a complete idiot, which I doubt you will.
If you go accidentally ripping off appearances, don't mention it, because then we'll know you were aware of the ripping off. Accidents happen.
EDIT: Also, don't take that as an encouragement to rip off appearances. kthxbai.

Actually, if I recall, Welcome Center posts used to count towards your total, but since the chat took away most of the activity in General, you're usually upping your post count by RPing to get rid of DataBug status.
