While I'm well aware that Java is a buggy piece of crap and not to be relied on, what exactly does that have to do with the JavaScript that Drakim came up with? Javascript only used the name Java to get a popularity boost back in the day, it has no relation to Java VM execution wise.
The age old cross site problem it's always had aside, I don't see anything particularly wrong with it.

We unwashed masses didn't know that. Drakim and Sora were kind enough to tell me. However, since we're moving to ZB, it doesn't matter. Drakim Tabs don't work on ZB. Already been tested. They gotta go either way.

To be honest allowing users to run JavaScript in their signature isn't really the wisest of decisions either. It could very easily be used to steal account passwords by messing with the login box.

ZetaBoards doesn't allow JavaScript or HTML in posts or signatures. That's a big part of the reason for the move.

I suppose that's true, but that's more of a global derp than one specifically with your code.
Regarding ZB/etc: that's a sound reason, heh.
And now I vanish until the next time I have something remotely interesting to say o:

As I mentioned in the PM, I'm perfectly fine with the system being removed. Back in the day, I had a few accidental mishaps that had some hilarious but obviously bad results, like embedding the whole page into the signature tab. So the system itself isn't safe, and people are lucky there hasn't been any major issues (that I know of)
Eitherway, I suppose one thing that came out of the confusion is that I'm considering returning to the game at some point. All but forgot about the site... *remembers something* ... I or someone, should probably do something about the SteamGroup's logo... its been the SantaMet for some years now.
