The Swordy paused for a moment, the lights behind its helmed visor blinking as it felt its vigour returning, and what had at first like it was about to flee from under-estimated eggs it now turned into a renewed lunging strike at the pair. Both it and the egg viruses seemed to be drawing extra strength from the heat of the coals beneath them, but they weren't concerned with storing or saving it up for any reason; the Swordy's stab landed with extra force, even reduced by the hard shells of the eggs, but so too was the nearest egg's immediate count blow against the offending swordy, knocking it back heavily again.
The second one wreathed itself in flames as well, preparing to slam the would-be egg-thief, but just before it could a lightning charged hare blistered in from up hill, crashing into the second egg with an explosive, crushing force that blasted it into chunks and left Jazz to springboard off the recoil and land partially back up the hill, presumably in a suitably dramatic pose while he caught his breath.
Behind him, the collapsed scarab virus began to stir. Its scattered bones slowly pulled back together and began to re-knit, though it wasn't whole yet. Below him, the Swordy eyed the shattered remnants of the first egg with something that could only be recognised with a data-hunger, but continued to swing its blade at the remaining egg while it was still locked in battle. The blow was a glancing one but the egg, still fiery and hale, struck back with full force again. Just as Jazz was able to gather himself to move again, he witnessed something... odd.
The egg virus slammed into the Swordy, sending it collapsing back in a moment of defeated ragdoll; if Jazz could see it, he'd know that the impact was enough to precisely deplete the last of the other virus' integrity but, in that exact moment, the lingering effect of his own stimpack surged in the virus too. Its integrity flickered and its body crackled with data fragments, then seemed to re-coalesce as it stumbled in the air and hunched forward, gripping both hands on the hilt if its sword and planting the tip into the ground, head down. A moment alter, its helm lifted up, thrown back as though staring at the sky.
While the Swordy remained unmoving, Jazz made his way back down the hill, taking rapid shots at the egg on the way. It turned from its apparently immobile quarry as the first sizzling blast hit, sending a rising pall of steam from its shell. It hissed in Jazz's direction, but was only met by a volley of other shots, until the sudden temperature difference send pressure cracks all across its form. Not every shot from Jazz was on target, but they didn't need to be; enough connected in the short moments that followed to scramble the distinctly non-benedictine egg for good.
The Swordy didn't seem to be responsive to Jazz's overtures – at least not for the moment. Rather, it seemed transfixed, the glows of its eyes behind the visor wide and staring upwards as it gripped the hilt of its ground-planted sword tightly. Up the hill, the scarab had finished reforming ,though ti still seemed to be groping for a bone it could actually throw. Elsewhere, on the far side of the hill, the homing bone clattered against the coals, but no-one really noticed in the midst of the other dramatic things going on.

LizeggLizegg (Cregg)
The Cregg version is a brown scaly egg with red spots. Most notably, it possesses a long gray tail that extends from a crack in the egg's rear, which is constantly on fire. It moves around by emitting flames from cracks in the scaly shell, trying to hit an enemy. The Lizegg is the same, but grows four gray scaly legs and feet that pop out of the egg and two holes at the front for two shining yellow eyes. It retains the tail from its weaker form, though the flames are a bit more intense. The egg grows slightly. Its scales also become stronger which allows it to pop back in for a defensive action. The Raptegg's hind legs grow more so it can stand on them. Its head, similar to that of a raptor but gray, pops out of the egg too and a long gray scaly tail that moves behind him frantically, which is covered in roaring fire. The egg grows slightly again. Same as the Lizegg, it can also pop everything back in for a defensive action, though it is better than its lower version at this.

BluePhoenixBluePhoenix (FirePhoenix)
FirePhoenixes are medium sized birds, constantly emitting fire from their body. Despite being able to fly, they lack some of the grace other flying viruses, and have only average dodging capability. Higher versions are truer to their name, and are capable of reviving themselves. However, a Wind-type attack will blow away their ashes before they can regenerate, and if they're deleted with an Aqua attack, the ashes don't form.
