    RE: Red Team: Go!
It didn't take long for trouble to start seeking the trio out, as Honoo found out from the appearance of a large number of Viruses that surrounded them. The other two Navis had already jumped into action, Delta taking the North and East while RiderMan focused on the eastern side. She wheeled about and decided to focus down on the Virus group in the south, and identified the bunny-looking Virus as an immediate threat... along with what appeared to be a floating eye. "Those certainly don't look pleased to see us. I'll take care of those then," Honoo remarked as she brought her gauntlets up into a ready position. "Very well, sending battlechip data," Kiri remarked, as if in clockwork as she slotted in two battlechips into her PET.

The vents on Honoo's Gauntlets hissed as her fists erupted with fire. With a bounding step, she sprinted into action and began closing the distance between her and the group of viruses. Her eyes trained on the Bunny, and with a roar, she swung her right fist forwards into a punch. A fist-shaped flame projectile seemed to launch from her gauntlets as she did so, flying straight for the bunny-like virus. She followed up her attack as she continued her sprint towards the south, her body seemingly dissipating into flames, before materializing a good distance closer to the eye-like Virus, and she swung her other blazing gauntlet straight into it.

Honoo was the next Navi to step out of the portal after Riderman. She swung her arm as if warming up for the next exercise, keeping her eyes focused on Riderman. She nodded in agreement to Riderman's question as she double checked the equipment on her gauntlets to make sure everything was working as they should. "You lead, we'll follow." She added, once she was satisfied with her inspections.

    RE: Road to Adventure
It wasn't long after Riderman chose to head towards Dentech that Kiri returned. "I'm back, Honoo. I hope you weren't too bored while we were gone?" The operator chimed in. Honoo shrugged and looked at her with a wolfish grin, causing Kiri to put on somewhat of a worried look on her face. "...you didn't cause any trouble, did you?" Kiri asked warily.

"Quite the opposite, really... someone nearly bumped into me, things happened, and we're going on a busting run together somehow." Honoo responded with a cheeky expression on her face. Kiri simply sighed and shook her head. "So we'll be busting then? I suppose more training wouldn't hurt you... Which area in particular?"

"Dentech." Honoo answered, as she began walking towards the portal to that area together with the Navi named Delta and Riderman.

Honoo nodded in approval to Riderman's enthusiasm to keeping himself active and dedication to self-improvement. She still disapproved of his rather reckless way of navigating through pedestrians, but perhaps he would learn to keep the safety of others in mind in the future, and that was enough to assuage her rage regarding the incident. "Both of those locations sound good for training," She added, before suddenly realizing what Riderman had just exactly said, "...Though I must admit, I am somewhat wary of travelling around Beachnet."

"I'd accept the handshake but I'm afraid I'll accidentally break your arms in the process, no offense," Honoo replied to the Navi who introduced himself as Riderman, while raising her gauntlet hands to accentuate the fact that her hands weren't exactly the most delicate. Her interest, however, was piqued when the navi mentioned the word busting. Though she was still annoyed at the fall earlier, she thought that perhaps a busting partner would allow her to make further progress in her training later.

"Busting, you say? Where would you happen to be heading to for this?"

Lifting the bucket over her head, Honoo glared at the Navigator that had just barely crashed into her, but was interrupted by another Navi who suddenly appeared in front of her to render assistance. "No, it's... fine. Just my pride's wounded, that's all." She replied to him as she lifted herself up, dusting herself off in the process. The navi who had been weaving and dodging had apparently taken pause, and turned around to apologize about his behaviour. Honoo simply scowled at him as she started picking up the tools littered all over the place.

"Yes, well, watch where you're going the next time, would you? What are you in such a hurry for anyway?" She inquired as she returned the smaller tool implements back into the bucket.

    RE: Road to Adventure
With a haphazard slapping on the side of a wall, Honoo dusted her hands as she finished putting up the last advertising poster for the Crimson Blossom Inn on the Netsquare. "There's the last one, now I guess I can take a break until Kiri comes back..." She said to herself as she stepped back to admire her "handiwork". Satisfied, she brought her tools and the bucket used to carry the "glue" to paste the posters up to a nearby washing area. While cleaning her tools, she glanced around the netsquare, observing the hustle and bustle of the netsquare from the many navigators that occupied the space. It wasn't long before she noticed a commotion in the distance. She heard a few gasps and yelling going on in the distance, and wondered what the noise was about.

It wasn't long before she found out exactly what the commotion was, as a Navigator suddenly on what looked like a pair of skates suddenly whizzed past her just as she was about to leave. Caught by surprise, Honoo lost her footing as she started falling backwards. She flailed her arms wildly in a desperate bid to maintain her footing but it was too late, and almost like a scene from a comedy show, she found herself crashing to the ground. The bucket she had been using to store the glue that was used to paste up the posters ended up landing on her head while her brush-like tools clattered all over.

RE: Resolutions 14: Honoo and Kabuki
Hey, it's another fellow Yokan! It's always great to see folks from my own local areas. I'm afraid I've not actually heard of the Burnt-Gold Hanamichi, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're not aware of our inn, the Crimson Blossom Ryokan. We're located somewhere in the central district. We're not exactly close to -the- Yoka Inn, but I'd say we're good enough for people looking for a budget place to stay for the night or two.

I am, in fact, a Fire navi, actually! I'm aware of Kabuki performances, but I've not partaken nor have had the fortune of watching a scene in person. I also highly doubt that I'm your sister, but the fact that we share the same goals in protecting the less fortunate is certainly something that warms the heart. Er, no pun intended, of course.

Being sparring partners would probably be ideal! It might give both of us the edge we need to sharpen our fighting skills and strength. Heck, maybe perhaps we could be drinking buddies! Just kidding. [A cheeky face is scribbled on the side of the message here.]

RE: Resolutions 14: Honoo and Kabuki
Never really done one of these since ever... so I guess there's a first time for everything. So greetings everyone, I'm Honoo, navigator to Kiri Kisaragi, my operator who currently resides in Yoka.

I don't really have much of a resolution to make, though I suppose resolving to make sure our Inn still continues to stay well off. I think it would do her well to meet some more people too. She's only had the company of some staff in the Inn, and even then it's only on a professional level. Some companions would be nice.

Maybe a resolution to make myself stronger too. Internet's getting slightly dangerous these days. Gotta keep myself strong so no one gets bullied if I can help it! *fistpump*

    Honoo Main Profile appearance update
Since returning to RERN, decided to give Honoo an update to her default appearance. Here is the new appearance description for her.

    Appearance:
    Drawing of Honoo
With a heavy palette of red used in her design, Honoo is a fiery navi that stands at a height of 5'9". Her red hair is a messy bob hairstyle that reaches shoulder length, with a slight orange hue that can be seen depending on the angle of the individual looking at her. A pair of yellowish-tinted goggles rests on her head when she is outside of combat. Her body is relatively well built, and a closer look (if one can risk it) may reveal some subtle contours that defines her abdominal muscles. Another defining feature is what appears to be a fuel tank mounted on her back. In truth, it isn't so much a gas container for her gauntlet's flamethrower as it is a protective backpack shaped like one.

Honoo's outfit is a skin-tight bodysuit with flowing orange lines running down the sides of her body. These lines emit a pulsing glow, as if fire energy is flowing across her entire body. Of note is a sort of collar around her neck where her Navigator emblem rests, as well as a small armor piece that rests on her left shoulder, held together by a belt strap. Fists of Kagutsuchi, her combat gauntlets, are a metallic matte gray, with oversized fists that are twice the size of her normal hands. These gauntlets can be removed, but Honoo prefers to wear them most of the time. The Gauntlets also hide her main buster when not in combat, protected by a plate of armor and resting in a compartment that allows the buster, a small cannon and a flamethrower, to pop out in combat.

Also protecting her is a pair of Armor leggings. These appear to be rather solidly built, though it fulfills the same function as most other Navi leg-guards.

    Custom Weapon:
Fists of Kagutsuchi - A pair of gauntlets with weapons mounted on them. The left gauntlet sports a small gatling cannon, while the other carries a grenade launcher. Both have a dedicated flamethrower muzzle, while the second barrel fulfills a specific task.

Kiri had changed into her streetwear clothes before leaving the Inn in Yoka. Her journey over to Scilabs was relatively short, and she had found the store that most operators visited in order to obtain upgrades for their navigators. Entering the store, she looked around the catalogs and posters, marking down the upgrades that Honoo could utilize. Marking down on a notepad, she eventually moved over to the counter of the shop where the store owner was tending to his customers.

"Good day, I'd like to pick up 3 Process Upgrades and a HP memory upgrade, if you please." Kiri said as she passed a piece of paper with her requests written on it.

Honoo almost collapsed as she reached the portal that brought her to the Netsquare. "Uuuugh that took awhile." She groaned as trudged her way in. With a tap on a nearby pedestal, the PET blinked with a new notification.

    [[BOOKMARK CREATED: ACCESS PORTAL LINKED]]

"That should cut us some time if we ever need to be at the Netsquare immediately." Kiri remarked as she checked the PET's status.

"Didn't we get some zeny from the viruses we beat up? Do you think we can get some upgrades so I won't hurt as much in the future?" Honoo said as she found a place to sit down to catch her breath in the Netsquare area.

That was a good idea, why hadn't she done that yet? "You're right, if we want to go into more difficult areas, we need to get you some proper upgrades. Can you entertain yourself while in the netsquare? I'll make a quick trip to the store first." Kiri said, before letting one of the staff of the inn know that she was leaving the inn for a moment.

Honoo let out a breath that she hadn't realized she was holding, and surveyed the surrounding area. She suddenly remembered that one of the OldStoves had disappeared into the bushes, towards where most of the evacuating metools and fled. Cursing, she started to make her way there, only to notice that the Metool leader from earlier had appeared. The virus kept its weapon and made its way back into the village, putting out the fires repeatedly with it's tiny feet. Honoo watched in amusement as the small virus put out the entire blazing inferno; it had a spirit and determination that she found admirable, and had it been coded as a navigator, it would certainly be a staunch and loyal ally to fight alongside.

"The area seems to be clear. No more "hostile" viruses in the vicinity," Kiri chimed in, breaking Honoo out of her spiel. "Shall we move on? The Netsquare isn't further off."

Honoo, not taking her eyes off the viruses clearing the area, nodded and turned away. She hoped to help put the fire out, but without any aqua or wind chips she wouldn't really be able to do much. She simply waved to the Viruses farewell, before heading off back to the main path, and continued on with her journey to the Netsquare.

Honoo saw the Stove Viruses turn their attention to her now that the Miners had been eradicated. Despite her response, she was unable to completely evade the stream of fire that the viruses had unleashed upon her, and she clenched her teeth as she withstood the extreme heat that assailed her. When the blinding light died down, Honoo stood in her guard position, a mad, defiant grin on her face. "That all you got, you thugs? My turn." She muttered grimly, before her gauntleted fists erupted into fire.

"FireHits deployed. Try not to burn down the area, Honoo," Kiri advised her Navigator. The Navigator didn't respond, but only grew her grin wider as her blood heated up in the thick of battle.

With a quick swing, she launched a fireball straight into one of the Oldstoves near the Village huts. Using her momentum, she twisted her body immediately to the other side and launched another fireball with her other gauntlet, attacking the other OldStove that had caught her in a crossfire. She didn't stay around for long, immediately moving out of the way and heading for cover behind one of the Huts to stay out of the OldStoves line of sight.

    RE: Raising Awareness
The sound of an explosion disturbed Honoo somewhat, and she hastened her pace. Did someone get into trouble somewhere? She saw the smoke rising in the distance moments later, and recognized the tell-tale signs of arson. "Kiri, we should check that out. Someone could be in serious trouble." Honoo said, concern in her tone. Kiri wanted to object to this sudden diversion in their course, but the Navigator was right. The road had been relatively barren and a navigator could seriously be hurt or otherwise. "Understood, but proceed with caution." She replied after a pause.

Just as Honoo was about to head off in the direction of the smoke, a metool emerged out of the tall grass between the path and the origin of the smoke. The virus was just as startled as Honoo was, but it raised its' Pickaxe staunchly. However, behind it was a number of other metools as well. They weren't armed, but Honoo noticed that they were carrying what appeared to be burned and wounded metools. They weren't an ambush on any unsuspecting navigators; these Metools were fleeing from something.

She turned her gaze away from the Metool and into the distance again. The Metools had cleared away the tall grass and now gave her a clear view of the origin of the smoke. It was a burning village. These Metools had become the victim of a stronger group of viruses. Fires blazed almost uncontrollably as the group of malicious viruses torched the Metool's huts indiscriminately. Honoo clenched her fist unconsciously, rage building within her as she saw the Virus torch the Metool village like a group uncontrolled thugs. Her honor demanded that these victims be avenged and given a chance to save the village.

The Metool leader that stared at her was certainly thinking that she was in league with these firestarters. Honoo couldn't blame it, since she shared an element with the vandalizing viruses. "Stay out of the grass and wait. I'll take care of this," She said as she turned her gaze away from the Metool and pulled her goggles down over her eyes. She began walking slowly, methodically, towards the besieged village. "Honoo, these -are- viruses, you know," Kiri started to say, but Honoo simply ignored her operator, continuing her walk and readying her gauntlets.

Kiri sighed. She was being headstrong, and she couldn't fault her sense of justice, though she certainly did fault her for not picking battles for when it truly mattered. Still, it was a good opportunity to continue training. She prepared her battlechips for Honoo. "Just so you know, I will forcibly jack you out if I think you've taken too much," Kiri said sternly to her Navigator.
Honoo simply nodded in acknowledgement, and lifted her gauntlet arm. Kiri slotted in the first battlechips. A heat-V battlechip. If Honoo were to strike, she needed to do it now while some of the viruses were still bunched up. The cannon mounted on her right gauntlet chimed with a confirmation beep, notifying the navigator that a firedata-filled Fragmentation shell had been loaded in. She lifted her arm up, and sprinted towards the center, firing the shell straight into the miners bunched in the center. As soon as she got herself into effective range, she brought both of her gauntlets up, and focused both her fists to her front. The smaller muzzles next to the main cannon on each gauntlet ignited as it sent a gout of flame out straight into the miner viruses as a follow up from her initial attack, sending flaming vengeance upon its unfortunate target.

    SUMMARY OF ACTIONS:
1: Charging towards Center of Village (Feint)
    2: Heat-VDamage: 70 + Spread 2
    Accuracy: A
Description: Shoots a fireball whose explosion penetrates enemies to hit up to two other enemies behind and to the side of it, as if forming a V shape.

As Honoo watched the Melody virus hopping away out of combat, she turned around and started her climb up the slope where her fragmentation shell had impacted. Bits of cinder still fluttered around the place from earlier, and would probably extinguish itself a while later as the network recalibrated itself back to a clean slate. However, the environment wasn't exactly what was weighing in on her mind. "Hoping that virus doesn't come back to bite you, Honoo?" Kiri chimed in, saying what was already in Honoo's mind.

"I'd like to see it try. Maybe it might have a change of heart from attacking future navigators and refrain itself from doing so again," Honoo replied, though a sense of uncertainty could be felt from her words. "Or it'll stew for revenge and come back with a larger group and try to delete you from existence." Kiri added playfully, though Honoo didn't seem to appreciate it, as she simply muttered a soft "Shut up, you" back at Kiri, before continuing down the path towards the netsquare.
