    RE: Mystic Mansion
Mata stared at the table for a moment longer before she stood back up, only to take a peek once more. "Are you sure there's a ghost in this room?" said the navi as she checked the third time. Except for their first encounter, the ghost searching has been fruitless. The spy sighed and turned towards Sleuth, who seemed to be enjoying the not-so-spoiled turkey. "Oh lord, you were serious about eating that."

The spy searched the room once more and the chandelier caught her attention. Unless Mata and Sleuth decided to overturn every chair and candles in this room and ignore the rest of the mansion, the chandelier or the cabinet on the side were the only viable choice. "I'll take this one." With a simple hop, she stood ontop of the table and tippie-toed to at least touch the tip of the chandelier...But before she did so, she stopped and looked down at the Mr. Prog.

"...I should've asked you before I dirtied your table...My bad." Mata shrugged and proceeded to search the chandelier.

With the safe assurance that the Twisty virus wouldn't dodge her attack, Nimbus unleashed her ratton and her rageclaw on the virus with ease and deleted it on the spot. However, even as she jumped away from where she was, the last remaining Twisty had carefully positioned its RemoteBit and landed a thunderous blow on the navi!!

"Ahh! A-Are you alright!!" Mr. Prog screamed in panic. "Don't push yourself too hard! Slow and steady, slow and steady!!"

    "Are you...serious?"

Mata stared at Sleuth as she began to tear through the turkey, ready for consumption, but...Even though food isn't programmed to rot or go bad, a month long turkey was still a month long turkey. "You have fun with that, I'm good with not eating anything here...Ever." Sticking her tongue out in disgust, Mata took a quick look at the long table that stretched through the room. "Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Now bend down like some french maid and look it up!" Oliver laughed. "You know, a french maid costume would be better than this horrid leather suit you gave me!"

After taking a big breath in, she bent down to investigate underneath the table.

    "..."

Standing silently as she stared at the blue coats swaying side to side, Mata slowly lowered her hands to find that there was nothing to find. "...That was uncalled for." The spy whispered to herself, shaking her head in disappointment. "All those unnecessary build ups for nothing, these ghosts suck at their job..." As Mata mumbled and grumbled, she made her way to the door, but Sleuth was already standing and ready right next to it. "Dining room?...Yea, sure...Hmmph."

Mata looked down at the two umbrella stand by the door, but before she thought twice, simply kicked one of the stand in frustration!

Listening to what Sleuth had to say to the Mr. Prog, Mata's face frowned and stuck her tongue out in disgust. "...A soup with flies, few or many or completely free of flies, is still a soup that had flies in it. Yuuuk." The spy seemed very particular about the bugs, even if it was just a example, and shuddered with both hands clamping around her own arms. "The greatest spy in the net: Mata, fearless in her missions, relentless against her foes, and can't stand flies whatsoever! She does it all, folks!" Oliver laughed as he flailed his arm up like a silly 5 year old, finding time to poke fun at his own navi without fault.

As the navi's brown cheeks blushed slightly, she turned silent as she made her way to the end of the room as soon as she finished searching her side of the coat hangers. But as it happened, Sleuth was there first and already seemed set on checking the coats herself. "You sure you want to do this alone? I mean, not to be cocky or anything, but you got licked because you insisted on doing this alone and ignoring wha- H-Hey!!" Just like how Mata ignored the underwear color, it seemed like Sleuth chose to ignore the spy's suggestions and flapped through the last coat hanger without warning.

Taken by surprise, Mata instinctively raised both her hands up as if she was ready to fight something, but she seemed to be more on the edge compare to the big, burly, half naked navis she had to confront before. "Y-You idiot! Let me prepare myself first!!"

"Wha-?! Jesus, what the flipping hell, man! I thought your plan was gonna work! Fool-proof! Invincible! Instead, it backfired right in my face!!!!"

Despite the fact that he was instantly wiped out by the Red Garrison's devastating missiles, Ignis couldn't keep his mouth shut, even in "death." But before he spoke again, Marius quickly muted the SP and turned his focus on the battle. "He does have a point. The plan didn't go well as we hoped. Ignis and the Lock-On were wiped out, and we weren't able to deal as much damage as we hoped...However." While leaning his chin against his fist, the operator stared at the discarded armor plate on the side with the gaping hole in the center. "We were able to found out bit more about the enemy. We have the advantage now; let's use it to the fullest." Voulge nodded his head as he changed the Lancea back to its normal form with a quick twirl. "But we also need to keep its defense system in mind. A self-adjusting armor on a tank...It really makes me wonder who made this in the first place."

Voulge forged another shield out from the mud he stood, shortly imagining how dangerous it would have been if he didn't have this to fend off the tank's previous attack and shuddered. "What would be the preferred method of approaching this?" said the navi as his trident began to glow in a dim blue light as it gathered energy. "How about an all out attack like before? Because that worked PERFECTLY, YOU DIPSHIT." Ignis screamed. "Sarcasm aside, It would be idiotic to attack straight up...We need to bait him out a bit." Marius slid two battlechips into the PET one at a time, loading it up for Voulge to use. "You think a pair of wasps would be enough of a distraction when an attack from four sides wasn't able to do the job?" Voulge smirked despite his sarcastic remark.

"Bait, Voulge. Not a distraction." said Marius with the similar smirk.

It didn't take long for the spearman to realize what his operator had in mind and nodded his head. He swiped his trident-Lancea in the air, leaving behind a wall of thin bubble that was shortly popped to reveal a pair of Elebees like some magic trick, appearing beside Voulge out of thin air. Voulge gripped his spear tightly and clenched his other hand into a fist, taking one big breath into his lung and letting it all out with a sigh. "...Let's begin!"

Pointing the Lancea forward, the first of the Elebee shot forward like a rifle fire as it headed directly at the Red Garrison. But that wasn't all that happened. The mud, broken pieces of trees, logs and whatever that was available, began to gather around the spear to slowly form a giant mass. As the process continued, Voulge quickly moved away from current position and launched another Elebee from a different angle. "One more!" The navi was keen about keep himself mobile to evade any unpleasant attacks from the Red Garrison and moved away once more, all the while kicking the ground, which in turn stirred up Licht's power to launch a sizable square panel right at the tank at a terrifying speed.

Voulge skidded to a halt and stared down at his Avaria-Lancea, which transformed completely into a gigantic lance that towered over him in height. Built entirely out of materials surrounding him, the newly formed lance was also covered in a dim blue aura and gave off a powerful presence. "Engrave this to your eye!!" The navi shouted as he slowly raised the lance up to the sky. "This lance will be your end as it pierces through your crimson steel!!" The aura around the lance began to flare and brightened in intensity, molding the lance from a giant mass into sleeker, extremely compacted version that seemed much more believable for Voulge to handle. Its blue aura was still burning with passionately and covered the navi's entire arm, but Voulge paid no attention to it as he intensely stared down at the Red Garrison before him.

"This will all be over in one blow!! Prepare yourself, tank, for your annihilation!!"

Shifting his body into a lower stance, the navi began to approach to the Red Garrison with a slow walk and quickly began to pick up speed. It didn't take long before Voulge was sprinting with everything he had, treading through the muddy panels with no problem what so ever. He was running with the intention of piercing straight through the tank with his lance, ignoring every possible repercussion of this attack failing as he was putting everything behind his spear. "Lancea, stay true and fierce! For there is none that you cannot pierce!" As soon as the spear made contact with whatever it may have come across, it released a powerful tremor that shook the battlefield.

The attack left Voulge terribly exhausted, leaving him falling on his knees as his lance crumbled to reveal his spear in its original form. Licht used every ounce of its strength to pull his master away from the tank as green flame enveloped the navi's leg, lifting up Voulge and drifted off. As the spearman recovered bit of his strength, he was focused in evading any more attacks that could come from the Red Garrison, even if he was being sluggish in his movement from his own attack.

Mata wasn't as surprised as Sleuth when they saw the rows of blue coats, merely sighing and shrugging. "This...looks familiar to your collection, Oliver." Mata whispered as Oliver appeared with his usual smile. "Oh please. this is nothing compare to my wardrobe of my janitor suits! All of these may be matching COLORS, but you can't beat 31 identical clothes nicely hung and creased and in the perfect shade of gray~. PLUS, that's all that blue coats are digital, it literally is nothing compare to mine!" As the operator started to become more and more passionate about his collection, Mata closed the connection quickly and began her search on the rack of coats opposite of the one Sleuth was checking out.

"...Are we gonna find one of those special notes in here as well?" said the navi as she flipped through the coats one by one, occasionally stopping to stare at strangely designed ones. "What's it gonna say next? EYES, TONGUE, FEET? I'm getting pretty curious here." As interested as she was, Mata wasn't going through the coats as thoroughly as Sleuth was and already made it pass half way through the rack...

"Yeah yeah. Quit your yapping, we already know how much of an awesome private eye, detective, or whatever...Hey look, I found something over...Here?"

Mata turned towards Sleuth when there was an awkward pause in the detective's talking, but the spy found nothing out of place...except maybe the slime dripping down her face. "...Oh...Oooh...Not good." The navi turned silent as well, maybe out of sympathy towards Sleuth, or maybe out of the fact that there were actual ghosts in the house. Either way, she was quiet till Sleuth broke the silence with her rant...Her desperate rant. S-stay strong, Sleuth! said Mata in her thought as she instinctively clenched her fist.

As things calmed down, the two navis investigated the paper with "Teeth" written on it. "'Brush your teeth'? That's gonna be the biggest let down in the history of riddle...I think I may have an id-" Before Mata could properly speak, Oliver intervened once more as the holographic screen appeared between the two girls. "Why teeth out of all things to write? If this was a dying message, or even a suicide note, it doesn't make a lick of sense!...Unless...It's the name of the organization that was behind the death of the owner?!...N-no, that's not it, No right-minded organization would ever call themselves TEETH......Yeah, I got nothing. Back to square one, sorry for the intrusion~" With a big smile, Oliver left as quick as he appeared, leaving Mata blushing completely red while her jaw dropped open. After all this time to conceal her operator's erratic behavior, Oliver just revealed his love of conspiracy theories out in the open to Sleuth and Jocelyn.

    "Aha...Hahah...T-that operator of mine...Always j-joking..."

For what it was worth, Mata had to try to salvage her image from Sleuth as best as she could. The mere thought of being constantly teased by the detective, especially about Oliver, was unbearable. "ANYHOW!" The spy suddenly screamed. "...Anyhow, I think there's more to this message than we think." Pointing at the paper with her lean finger, she finally talked about her own theory about the message. "Obviously, we need to find other parts to get the full message. But I doubt that its simply going to spell something out and that'll be it. If anything, I would have to say that this is a series of code that needs to be used somewhere in the mansion." All the secrecy and espionage that Mata...lacked, due to not being a real, true spy in a sense, made her want her theory to be true in a way. But nonetheless, there was no doubt that she was interested in what the message had in store.

When the choice was given whether or not the two should split, Mata obviously had no objection about sticking together. "Pleasure of one another's company?" said the spy in a sarcastic tone. "I think you need me to stick around the next time you get licked up by another ghost!" And when Sleuth pointed towards the Coat Room, the spy shrugged and nodded her head. "I guess I don't mind...But wouldn't it be too cramped for the both of us??" Nonetheless, Mata gave Sleuth a small thumbs up. "Right or wrong, lets just find the ghosts already!"

"Cobweb, shmobweb. I say it's still impressive!" Oliver yelled in childlike glee. Mata sighed when she found nothing from the potted plant, possibly in relief or frustration, and made her way to the next plant to the right of her...Before Sleuth intervened. "...Why? The plant is right here. It's closer, and if a ghost comes out from either of the two middle pots, we can both deal with it!" said the spy as she tried to reason with her partner. "Oh, just do it, 'little creature.' It looks like she knows what she's dealing with!"

Mata fell silent and quickly turned towards Oliver, immediately pointing her finger straight at his holographic face. "Are you implying that I don't know what I'm doing? You think I'm just doing this because I don't know any better?? All this time I did things for you, I just did everything halfcooked?!?" She lashed at her operator, gritting her teeth like some rabid dog. "Hush hush now." said Oliver as he simply smiled. "You sure look super angry for a super cool spy, y'know?" Mata snapped out of her little anger fit, all the while clamping her mouth shut. She turned silent once more while her dark cheeks blushed slightly.

"...Just...Just be quiet for now." Closing the holographic window, she faced Sleuth and raised her index finger. "This one time, okay? I still think this isn't really smart for us to do, but just this one time..." Mata turned and headed towards the desk next to the entrance, slowly slugging across the marble floor. The navi placed her hand over the papers, but delayed a bit before she actually did anything. "Scared??" Oliver's voice rung in Mata's ear. "Shush!" Taking a deep breath in, Mata slowly exhaled and began to rummage and look through the papers.

Mata gave Sleuth a sharp glare, despite the fact that it was hidden by her shades, before heading into the mansion. "You think you know everything with that fancy detective head of yours...Well, whatever, lets just see how far it takes you today." The spy mumbled to herself.

When they finally got into the building, the navi was rather shocked by the sudden change in the decor in comparison to the exterior. "Cliche or not...I really wasn't expecting this, y'know? I thought it was rotten wood floors with holes, spiderwebs, broken clock, the whole package." She continued as she examined the marble pillar. "That prog wasn't kidding when he said he was taking care of this place." Oliver's screen popped up and circled around Mata looking outwards, examining the mansion. "This place looks too well off to be an abandoned building, especially for one Prog to take care of...There must be a reason why! Oh boy, I think this is going to be interesting!"

Mata ignored her operator's child-like glee for the moment as she saw Sleuth making her way to one of the pots. She fought against a spooky before, and they were more of an annoyance than a threat, much less something scary. The navi stretched her chest forward and nodded to herself as she made her way to the far left pot. "Just come on out, virus. Don't make this harder than it should be!" With a cocky attitude, Mata stuck her hand into the plant of the leftmost pot and searched it for anything ghostly viruses.

"...All of this sounds just too ridiculous."

Mata scoffed at Mr. Prog's explanations about their mission, crossing her arm over her chest. Why would ghosts take over the mansion if they can't do anything? In fact, a normal viruses would be more capable than the ones that can't touch or be touched, the navi thought to herself. "And Sleuth, what the heck do you mean that I would show fear?! Things are bit different from real, half-naked navis to fake harmless 'ghost' viruses...Wait...F-forget what I just said." The navi clamped on her mouth with her hand and tried to avert her eyes from Sleuth's gaze.

A loud beep clicked into Mata's ears and she looked down to the FearScope she had in her hand. The device was going up the fear gauge before the two even got near the mansion. "...I-Is this thing telling me that I'm scared of Sleuth? Oh geez, this things over-exaggerating!!" While the spy was gritting her teeth, Oliver appeared once more with a charming smile, completely opposite of him moments before. "You guys have a working fear machine in the net-world? Oh, JEALOUS!" His eyes began to glitter in curiosity and continued to ramble on. "Think of how easily I can detect things with that in hand...There's got to be a way we can get this over to this world, but I just need to examine that program in detail and I would be cracking conspi-" Before he could finish his word, Mata literally kicked the screen showing Oliver to pieces, still gritting her teeth and turned to Sleuth. "Lets go already, before my operator begins to talk again!"

Mata arrived to the mansion short of breath, looking side to side to survey the area. "So...That's the place with all the spooky-boogie ghost viruses?" The navi looked uninterested at the building, possibly because it looked so cliche. Seeing her partner already ready to tackle the mission, the spy jogged up next to Sleuth and gave a harmless nudging with her elbow. "Sleuth, you better hope that this will be just as interesting as that NetPolice business." Oliver appeared on the holographic screen, looking even more indifferent than his navi was, and took a quick look at the mansion. "...BAH! Supernatural and spiritual phenomenons are nothing but fog and mirror, no real meat for me to dig in." As he continued to mumble to himself, Mata laughed nervously quickly closed the screen.

Oliver walked along with Jocelyn with a big fat smile on his face, constantly nodding his head with the occasional "Is that so?" mixed in. But deep down inside, he could not decode the great mystery, the great conspiracy this half-naked girl had prepared, and it made his quite frustrated. I don't understand, I can't think this through! Just what is this girl planning to do! The initial theory was debunked hours ago, but the all the others I thought of...I-It just doesn't stick! Just as when Oliver was about to give up, Mata returned to the PET with a loud beep. "I'm back from the mission...Even if it wasn't as successful as I hoped it would've been." said the navi as she appeared as a hologram. "Yeah, sure, good job, keep at it, have fun...." Oliver shrugged and mumbled to himself, more concerned about his own problem than his navi. "...Let me guess." said Mata as a sly grin slowly appeared on her tanned lip. "Things not going as 'planned'? Lose interest in the mall security girl already?" The navi relished this chance to actually tease her operator, her body almost trembling to keep herself from bursting out in laughter. "Shhh, I'm thinking!" Deep in thought, Oliver didn't even realize that Jocelyn was off her segway and into her office, more or less hear anything other than his own thoughts...Mostly leaving Mata and Sleuth to their own business.

"...What?!" Mata yelled when Sleuth said they weren't going after the NetPolice Officer anymore. "B-But...The conspiracy...All those things we could have uncovered! Real, actual things to use my skills on!" Almost like a child who couldn't get what she wanted, the spy seemed utterly disheartened by the news, sulking and avoiding eye contact from Sleuth altogether. Even with the offer of investigating some ghostly viruses, Mata was under the weather and took a while before she gave her answer. "Fine...Whatever, it's gonna be better than staying him for now." She looked up at her operator, who was staring blankly across the shiny, mall floor as he was deep DEEP in thought. "This better be exciting, Sleuth! It's mostly your fault we can't go spying and snooping around!"

One of them let out a threatening (yet unintentionally cute) "roar" towards the navi, hoping to see some reaction, but there was still nothing...

The Bunnies definitely failed their job in protecting the scaffolding when they could barely protect themselves as Hilt skewered and rendered them into deletion. The navi made his way to destroy the scaffolding with one fell swoop, but not before one of the Twisty readied one of its RemoteBit and effectively zapped Hilt! Despite the attack, Hilt continued with his devastating, earthly attack that did in fact destroy the object in a single blow, dropping the two Twistys down from their high-and-might position and damaging them slightly from the fall.
