"Oh? The bears?" Megami said looking over her shoulder to the Teddie viruses. She gasped in realization!

"Oh! Yes! I understand!" Megami said smiling warmly to Warrior as she walked away from the scene, "That is fine! Xen-kun did mention that certain men felt uncomfortable around items that are considered "cute" as he said.!" Megami paid no mind to the bears no more as she walked down the path of ACDC's network. A long trek they had taken, but yet she was content to at least be out and about making a new friend.

Even if she was slightly oblivious about his mannerisms, she found them to be very interesting for one of the first NetNavi friends she made.

"Warrior-kun! You have my thanks!" Megami said happily as she strolled ahead, not even giving the male NetNavi a glance, "I have never honestly spent as much time knowing a NetNavi as much as I have you. I must say, it is very delightful!" she said happily.

"Yes! I did!" Megami beaming a smile once more to Warrior, "But I have one question?"

Once again, Warrior's words feel on deaf ears. Not so much as she did not hear him, but yet, she was not sure how to comprehend his movements and composure. Looking him over after asking the question, Megami noticed his physique, his posture, and even the way he folded his arms while standing with a since of bravado. The female NetNavi was unsure if there was something wrong or he was always like this.

"...are you okay?" she asked before lifting her right brow, "...is it...as they say in Xen-kun's world, 'the gas' that you have?"

*SMACK!!!*

The sound of Xenneth's hand smacking his forehead was audible. Megami's comprehension of was terrible, but it was nice to know she was paying attention and soaking up conversations like a sponge; especially when women were making fun of Xenneth for his own posture.

"Thank you for participating in our Holiday Chip Event!"

That's what the e-mail said the moment Megami had picked up the data and got a good distance away from the bears. Her right hand reached out as she accessed the screen hearing the electronic voice. Xenneth, lifting a brow, had taken in a breath realizing just what this message was actually.

"I remember this!" Xenneth exclaimed, "I think we did this event last time! We get to trade a chip I believe!"

Megami beamed a smile hearing Xenneth excited. It was rare.

The violet haired boy had went through his library of chips in his satchel. There was one in particular that he was not exactly fond of. Maybe because it was rarely used since Megami had a wonderful healing ability? Taking the Recover30 Chip, Xenneth had slotted it into the P.E.T. loading it into the E-Mail's chip-trader slot and e-mailed it. The reply was so quick that he wondered if the guy who was running this was even human.

If he wasn't, it wouldn't be a surprise.

"Hmm? This chip is new! Wave Arm level one?" he asked, "I guess I will have to thank Shur..."

He paused.

"Shuryi?"

That didn't sound right...

"Sherbert?"

He totally forgot the name of the show owner. It was humiliating considering he was holding the P.E.T. with the e-mail.

"Uh...n-nevermind...h-hey! Are you okay, Jake-san? Sorry if me and Megami couldn't do much! You guys...really handled those sword viruses...but I guess that's no surprise." Xenneth, a bit ashamed that he did not have the synchronicity of Jake and his NetNavi Warrior, had lowered his head with his tone to follow. Megami, oblivious to his feelings at that moment, still had a smile as she was impressed with her and Xenneth's achievements so far if anything.

"These are some very angry bears!"

Xenneth stated the obvious while Megami brought up a barrier while moving about. She kept close observation trying to keep her reflexes in-tune and ready for any more of the following attacks from the viruses. However, she felt this was excessive. To be of no harm, but to be completely assaulted by a bunch of cuddly animals? Also, Xenneth seemed so determined to help them! She could not simply delete them, especially if they were just trying to protect themselves and their treats.

She had to find some reason!

"E-excuse me, bears!" Megami cried out loud, "We will not hurt you! We have only come to help!" she had cried out loud.

However, this was not the idea situation to simply be yelling out claims to want to bring the peace and love. The female NetNavi stayed well aware of her surroundings, stretching her legs apart, and ready to dodge and roll if need be. Even as she prepared to move her body in a quick reaction, she had rid herself of her sword, placed her hands before her and cried out with her hands together to amplify her voice.

"Could you please stop?" she exclaimed, "We have no reason to fight you. We have only come to get rid of those mean sword-things that attacked you!"

Whether it was a valiant plea for peace that was a success or simply a cry that would fall on deaf ears were on the viruses. However, with the look in Megami's eyes, she had a worrisome expression that was nothing short of pure dread at the thought of having to hurt them.

"I have a feeling that those viruses don't care who side we are on."

The picnic basket hurling bears seemed to not care about who their assault hurt in the process. In the midst of the action, Xenneth had taken one battlechip in particular from his satchel after seeing Megami dodge the viruses. Not a very skilled net battler, the boy was not one for trying to overestimating his skills, so he only took one Battle Chip to slot into the P.E.T thinking he could at least have Megami take the viruses in a sword fight.

"I am sending the Bamboo Knife, Megami-chan!" he declared, "Battlechip in, downloading!"

The female NetNavi leapt from the hole with a single spring of her step. With her right hand swinging upward as she ascended, Megsmi attempted to cleave the Swordy virus on the right side of the hole from the bottom up. She hoped her surprise attack was successful, but that thought was just as quick as her movements when she set her sight on the second Swordy virus. Faint vapors of her bursting aura followed as she swung out her right arm in a spin aiming to strike the second sword-wielding virus after the burrowed hole closed up. She made an elegant spin showing she was not the swiftest swordswoman, yet she was graceful as she spun on her heel attempting to dance out of the way of any incoming attacks and quickly countered with one more sword slash.

"Keep it up, Megami-chan!" Xenneth cried, "We should be able to get the last of those viruses attacking those poor bears."

Adamant to his cause, Xenneth stayed to his previous goal to rescue the teddy bears from oppression, not caring whether or not they would gain a word of thanks...or at least a soft, cuddly hug.

"Oh my goodness!" Of course Xernneth only needed a second to gather his breath and sound like a broken record that would defile the English (Electopian in his case) language, "O-M-G! O-M-G! O-M-G! Those bears are being assaulted!"

With the keen observation skills of a new born pup and a squealing voice that screamed justice, of course this was what Xenneth observed. Seeing the sight of the Swordy viruses gain around the bear looking viruses was enough to cause a great distress. With a bias that would put any squealing little girl to shame because of his adoration for cute stuff, Xenneth appalled by what he had seen. Megami, the loyal friend that she was, became quick to act as she rushed forth along the terrain as she threw caution into the wind.

"Xen-kun! Use We shall use the Fire Burn!"

It was only mere seconds that Xenneth reached in for the Fire Burn Battlechip. His sense of justice for all things cute and huggable was ignited like a blaze deep within him. In a matter of speaking, that very form of fire had appeared on the battlefield with a whip of Megami's right hand that was glowing and encased in a grid of lines as thin as a wire. From her open palm and within the array of lines, there was unleashed a powerful blaze that streamed forth from the right side of the attacking line of viruses. Her movements were quick, without much planning, and so she did not try to line up her formation, but her intention was clear as far as getting the attention of the viruses at herself.

"E-excuse me..." her intention all too clear as she stood with her right hand free of the grid of lines and a friendly smile on her face as that same hand waved, "I am very sorry, b-but my name is Megami and...would you please not attack those teddy bears? It is causing my friend, Xen-kun, great distress. Thank you!"

Her bow was as swift and naïve as the next idiot who even thought of trying to catch someone's attention with a hand full of fire. With that, Megami lifted her head slightly, a single eye opened as she checked to see if her please of mercy was heard. Even if not, Xenneth was hot on his heels as after a little nervous laugh, he had begun to load a battlechip to be used in the female NetNavi's defense. A single raise of her arm would show she would have a shield to her aide if the viruses tried to be forward with an attack, and any further aggression would be met with a quick escape as a hole was readying to open up with one press of a battlechip.

"...I sometimes wonder how we get in these situations." Xenneth said with a frown, pressing the Mole Battlechip into his P.E.T. and awaiting to see how the viruses would respond.

"Uh...well..."

Xenneth was not sure how to answer that. It was not often that he had the change to participate in a hangout session between two NetNavis. If anything, it was pretty dull and uninspired. Gazing at the screen, there was an awkward silence that trumped any other he had ever experienced in his life: that moment when he wanted to talk to a girl, the one time he was flirted with and mistaken for a beautiful woman: you know, high school stuff. But no, there was no silence like this silence: less tense, more dull!

"I-I guess...we wait?" Xenneth added, his best solution he could come up with...at the time.

"Well..."

Xenneth folded his arms as he went into thought. He looked to the screen of his P.E.T. Megami was healthy, he was not sleepy, and so far it seemed that the two was learning a lo-...well, something from Jake and Warrior. To be honest, this was probably one of the first times he communicated with someone who was not Megami and actually understood him to some extent. To log out now meant they most likely would not see each other until they happened to be walking around in ACDC Net or passing each other on some street a year or two by coincidence, right?

Was it bad that he did not want this little adventure to end?

"I can keep going, Xen-kun!" Megami said happily as Xenneth picked his head up from deep thought. "If you are worried about me, I can assure you that I will be just fine."

He was not worried about Megami, but rather, he was thinking selfishly. However, he did not let her know that. Xenneth had just smiled, nodding his head, and looked back to the screen to see Jake and Warrior on the display. "Well, Jake-san, we can keep going. I really want to scale more of the area since I'm finally getting the hang of this...virus-busting, thing. So, if you'd like, you can run to the store. I am sure me and Megami can keep Warrior safe until you get back."

He insisted with a weak smile saying, "So I guess I will be up a little longer."

Megami had sprung from the hole as if she was flying upward to the skies. With one graceful spin five meters above the ground, she had begun to descend and land as her legs absorbed the shock. She had stood up straight from her crouching position and looked around seeing nothing but just a groove leading from the wooded area as well as Warrior who was intact, safe and sound. She smiled warmly as she had prompted sticking up her middle and index finger.

"Victory!" she had spoke in a cheerful tone, while Xenneth's face...melted.

Megami stared at Warrior, expecting him to respond or do the same most likely for some reason. The strong silence had indicated so.

"M-Megami-chan, I think you should recover..."

"Hmm?"

Megami really had not sustained much damage, but Xenneth had something running through his mind at the moment. The way the battle was looking, it seemed like things could wrap up in an instant, or seven long, grueling years if that ghost was not flushed out and attacked. With how Megami was attacking this ghost from left to right, it seemed like she was always a step behind the clever spook. However, Xenneth knew it would take more than some luck to slash the sword Megami held through the air and pray to the gods that she hit something!

He actually needed a plan, and at the moment, he thought of one.

"Just trust me, Megami-chan!" Xenneth said with a half-smile on his face, "You'll need the energy!"

The weak smile and his fingers making his signature sign of peace on his right hand was almost assuring. However, Megami was no fo-...well, she was gullible. Still, the tone that Megami replied in shown her slight confusion and hesitation considering that the damage was not really serious. However, it was with her fondness of Xenneth's orders and her unparalleled faith in him that she nodded her head and simply muttered...

"Oh...okay!"

The fair NetNavi had gone to her knees, placed her palms together and with a gentle smile, had begun to make a silent prayer. The aura that emitted from her body begun to brim more brightly than before as the remnants of the fading essence had come back at full blast and with it was a gentle green color that began to slowly covet Megami's body. As she stayed upon her knees, Xenneth had begun let out a sigh and his pride with it. A breath of air racing into his mouth as quick as he let it escape, he nodded, telling himself to go through with his action he was about to make and opened communication.

"U-umm...J-Jake, right?" Of course it was Jake! He just pained himself to remember the name since he was not use to talking to people, "I-I umm...I don't think we will delete that ghost virus easily, b-but...I think Megami-chan and I can get the virus hiding in the bushes...I-I think!"

Xenneth was not good with words or long detailed explanations with anyone but Megami, but he hoped the Net Operator would catch on more than anything. The boy had seemed to be very good at strategies, so it was only natural he would catch on quickly, right? Either way, he could assure one thing out of the plan if it was not deleting both viruses in their best efforts.

"O-oh, and Megami and Warrior will be safe, too!" he added briefly for good measure.

"I am ready, Xen-kun!"

Megami had slowly risen as she had prepared herself once more. With the brimming essence coveting her body and her eyes going to the path beyond their secure perch, she had her eyes set on the trees across the road dividing the groove that was now a battlefield riddled with ashes, fallen leaves, and remains of data from fallen viruses thus far. "We'll have to guess which tree the virus is behind." Xenneth commented as Megami stared long and hard at the road. Xenneth, slotting in one battlechip felt that it would probably be enough to get the Shrubby virus and leave him ready for the ghost waiting in the wind.

However, this second Battle Chip, he had never used and definitely did not know how it would work. Nonetheless, he was ready to try.

It was silent for all but a single breath of Megami, and as she exhaled...

"Here I go!"

It was probably not the best strategy to yell out what you were going to do, but Megami was not an expertise in battle etiquette; not yet anyway. The fair Goddess-like NetNavi dashed into the opening as she had taken with her the first Battlechip that was already forming upon her right arm since Xenneth wasted no time in loading it. By the time she ran and stopped in the middle of the path across from the trees on the left side of the road, she glanced for the smallest detail or movement with the split second she had to choose carefully. She aimed the heavy cylindrical weapon with the rounded sphere tip becoming intense and bright and fired the satellite weapon.

"...and here I go!" Xenneth followed up, "I hope this works, Mole! Battlechip in, download!"

Megami's eyes had shifted looking for the ghost-like virus, but only because she was curious and knew its ways by now. It was good at attacking unexpectedly and fleeing in the blink of an eye. This time, however, it would not know what would hit it. As Megami expected the virus to take the bait, to come at her as she was attacking as always, the female NetNavi's feet had begun to lose ground as a large opening came from right below her. A circular hole engulfed her body in a second as she dropped downward to hide in the ground for a moment.

It was time to, literally, "get the drop" on this quirky foe!

"Thank goodness she's so much quicker now..."

Xenneth said this lowly, grateful for one of his choices working out as he gazed upon the computer screen display. Megami was moving swiftly through the attacks and beyond his expectations. He did not want it to stop there, nor would he allow it as he decided to take a bit of more of a risk than usual. With her speed up and her aura instability giving off a powerful essence that would make up for any fault in her movements, he took two battlechips in hand seeing the offensive maneuvers of the viruses around Megami.

"We'll get rid of that disgusting ghost!" he warranted with a shiver of his body, "BambooKnife and Heatshot! Battlechips in!"

"Okay, Xen-kun!"

Megami's reply was just as quick as her right hand that flown behind the shield that begun to break into pixels the moment she let go. Instead, in that very hand she threw out to her right, a hilt was being grasped and a blade that was coming into view was forming mid-swing of the female NetNavi's assault. Her eyes were could see it form and with the timing of her swing, it could either be a cleansing blow or a sweeping fail seeing if her sword did not appear, her foe would disappear. However, she could not worry about that now as her footwork was trying to keep up with her swing.

Her tactical movement of her body was like a dance. As Megami's right arm swung outward to her right slashing a sword through the air, her left arm was coming upward and aiming in the direction of the Cacty virus. Her hair was the only thing that could keep up with her graceful movements as her chestnut colored ponytail swept towards her neck. All while doing this, her eyes were closed as she made this pretty little twirl. It was not out of a cocky bravado which made her do this, but because she was focusing her power.

"Concentrate..." she thought as she tapped into that well of power making the bulb of the flame coming into existence become a burning inferno in her clutches.

Her left foot finally touching down with a gentle toe step and her left palm letting out a powerful burst that roared of a mighty flame. Whether the explosive impact was enough to demolish the Cacty virus it was intended for was not important as she knew she had to get out of the open. Megami made a quick barrel roll forth with her blade in hand. She had tried to dodge past the virus, regardless if it was falling to the terrain in ribbons or it was made on her tail with a tongue intending to violate further. The female NetNavi came out of her frantic leap and ran with a mad dash towards the closest tree on the side of the road attempting to get into its safe shadow to have her back to it and let it separate herself from the open view of the Cacti virus on the opposite side.

She had stayed out in the open drawing attention to herself long enough.

"Eww!" Xenneth squinted seeing the pink tongue touch Megami. Even more, amidst all the adrenaline, it looked like it was moving in slow motion.

"Eww! Ewwww! Ewwwwwww!"

Xenneth's right hand was clinched full of battlechips snatched from his satchel. He did not care which one it was, he just knew he did not want anyone's tongue out of their mouth and striking anyone! Imagining himself in that situation, seeing Megami violated in the most indecent way possible as an attack on her physically (and for him mentally) he knew he had to react as he looked to his choices!

Sword-type chip? Chop it off! Fire-type? Burn it to a crisp!

"We'll try this one!" With the latter not sounding terrible (in a vengeful and psychotic way), he had pressed a battlechip into the P.E.T; one he had never used before, but reckon it was a good time more than any considering his enemy's unorthodox method of attack. "FireBurn! Battlechip in, download!"

Megami's body brimmed with a bright light once more as it radiated from her chest and begun to burst outward like a flame. However, with how transparent the tendrils of light was, it was not a fire, but rather more aura. It was quite surprising, and it seemed Megami's new aura ability was continuous and the moment it was snuffed out like a small flame, it seemed to rebuild itself around her body steadily. It was a saving grace more than any as Xenneth watched the aura engulf her body, almost oblivious of the small bulb of flame appearing in Megami's left palm.

A roar that was not like any beast erupted from Megami's left hand that was swung upward towards the striking ghost virus. A bright flame erupted from Megami's hand, this time an orange and red blaze solid as an explosive wave of heat, had begun to race towards the ghost and beyond as it clearly intended to continue onward towards the NetNavi the tree that on the left side of the path and hopefully would catch the virus that was unfortunately taking refuge with it. It was not Megami's intention, but it would at least give her a break for once.

Speaking of break, Megami needed to regain some ground.

She had turned her attention once more to the path in front of her. The surviving cactus virus was menacing enough, and it caused Megami to act in haste as she prepared to dodge. Her legs were bent as if she was ready to spring into action any moment in a quick spur of the moment to save herself from an incoming danger, but she knew it would not be that easy. There were viruses surrounding her everywhere (and dashing head first was probably not her best idea). However, she did not regret it as she knew her partner could (and would) come through if she drew attention to herself and kept up her new found speed in dodging the barrage; saving the trouble of having them target Warrior.

In any case, Xenneth was betting his bottom dollar that the viruses would not let up, and also supplying Megami with the means to help defend herself. "One more! Guard is downloading!" he warranted to Megami who was steadily preparing to make her mad frenzy of a defensive to hold off the attacking swarm.

"Megami-chan, be-"

"Careful?" Megami interrupted, "Yes."

*FWOOSH!!!*

There was an explosion at the opening of the arched path where Megami and Warrior had halted their stroll. A burst of aura erupted from Megami's body and radiated outward like a bomb had exploded from within her core. Her feathery light clothing had raised as if a strong gale wind was carrying them away, and with one spin on her heel and her right hand opening, a turbulent after shock of the same force flew into Warrior's direction as the stream of bright essence swept over his body and coveted him, but it seemed to remain in place even after it had begun to subside. It would probably have taken him forever and a day for him to figure out what happened in that small instance to Megami and himself, but it should have become clear when he went into battle.

"Was that...aura?"

Xenneth was a bit astonished to see the display. Well...a bit was downsizing it; he was more than over the top surprised since Megami had never generated that much aura in an instance, and then some. She had seemed to not only explode outward with a burst of aura, but concentrated enough of it to covet Warrior as well. She had even wasted no time as before Xenneth could barely fathom what happened all in that instance, the female NetNavi was on the move carefully to dodge incoming attacks as she zigzagged across the field, changing her full-speed dash as she made a sudden roll to stop.

"Those Cacti viruses can be a nuisance, yes?"

"Yes," Xenneth responded as he reached his hand in his satchel and brought it back out knowing exactly what he should use, "Boomerang Three, battlechip in! Download!"

Megami went into a barrel roll and just as quick came out of it with a powerful whip of her right arm. It only took seconds for the large wooden curved structure to finish forming, and just as the last square texture of pixel formed upon the weapon, Megami had whipped it forth leaving only a blast of wind in its wake. The spinning weapon was tossed forth and Megami intended for it to be true to its course to curve and strike the multiple cactus viruses.

Quick on her toes, Megami was still able to recover from her stance after launching the weapon. Her body felt lighter than usual, as if she could fly just with a single push of her feet from the ground. Her eyes had remaining vigilant as she begun to gain her footing and ready to spring forth to dodge an incoming attack if one came, and she would do so certain that a single hair would only fall out of place in the chaos of the battle.

"I don't want this..."

Xenneth frowned looking at the Zenny coin display appear on his P.E.T. indicating he had incoming funds. As the coin spun twice, it had not gotten the chance for a third time because as quickly as it came, it had gone. Xenneth was at first confused until he looked towards the display of the virtual network and seen Megami pressing her hand back towards Warrior with a confident smile.

[Megami gave Warrior back 360 Zenny]

"Thank you very much, Warrior-san, but this is yours to keep." Megami said, "You worked very hard against those viruses, even if I was not here to see it. This will help you get stronger! Me and Xen-kun will do just fine and acquire our own funds. Besides..."

Megami had closed her eyes and smiled sweetly as she relaxed herself for a moment. By the time she opened her eyes, she had a more serious and brooding expression. "We will not be caught off guard like that gain." Megami's voice changing from sweet to displeased.

"She's right." Xenneth added seeing Megami's expression, "We won't be beaten again...uh...that easily?"

It was not the first time Xennth seen Megami make that face. Many times over, she had shown a great display of a deep dark attitude when it came to two things: feeling weak in the presence of Xenneth or seeing others pick on the violet haired boy. He was her pride after all, as she had feelings towards him that he could not comprehend, let alone not even have the slightest clue about.

Saying this, Megami had gracefully walked past Warrior, her sandals tapping against the virtual terrain and sounding off like solid heels against the virtual floor.

"MEGAMI.EXE LOGGING-IN!"

The computer answered in place of Xenneth, but no sooner than the large bold words pixelated to reveal the NetNavi's body that a video screen behind the female form of Megami shown the violet haired boy. The display was in a definition so high, the bead of sweat could be seen clearly running upon his violet strain of tie-dye hair from when he ran to the store in ACDC to purchase the necessary components he needed. His head nodded once as he gathered his breath between pants of his breath and simply said, "Yes."

There was a silence for that moment however as Xenneth looked to Megami who was now logged in and looking her body over. There was not alterations to clothing, her body seemed still composed in its same curves, and details, but she acted as if there was something new about her.

"Xen-kun," Megami said with a raise of a brow, "My body feels different somehow. Perhaps I have not fully recovered from that last battle."

Xenneth had tilted his head slightly, the usual, for when he himself was confused. "Oh, I used some sort of upgrade along with the process upgrades when you were logged out. I'm not sure how you should feel, but...can you battle?"

Megami looked to Xenneth behind her on the screen and then placed an eye on Warrior. To him, she had shot a gentle smile before searching for his Net Operator on screen. With a nod of her head, she had looked back to the violet haired boy with her hands together as if about to speak a solemn prayer.

"I feel I can go on, and perhaps Warrior-san may even be able to help if worse comes to worse." she said as she looked back to Warrior, "Right, Warrior-san?"

Megami asked, awaiting an answer from the NetNavi.

Xenneth walked-in not even pausing after inserting the key, twisting the door-knob and waltzing into his room. He had not even noticed how he almost caught his front toe in a klutzy manner as he walked, or even looked around his room to notice that his bed sheets were slightly wrinkled from his vibrating phone reminding him he had messages. All he could see was the plugged in P.E.T stretching from the computer to the desktop and walked over in a haste.

"J-just hold on one sec Megami..."

He spoke as if she could hear every word, but he knew the NetNavi was still in Sleep Mode. The display on his computer showed that everything was normal and she had made a full recovery overtime. However, that was not enough for Xenneth. He had taken his P.E.T and begun to boot-up the small application on his computer allowing him to edit her programming slightly. He had clicked the mouse after several precise strokes and sat back while the little bar loaded to a full intoxicating green.

When there was a chime, there was only another key stroke needed, and hesitant click and then a silent wait that made him swallow as if he expected the worst.

"Oh! Xen-kun!" the gentle voice of the female NetNavi was assuring even though the video display did not open up until after. Regardless, he smiled just hearing her voice as she continued, "What happened? I remember so little at the last moment in battle. Did we delete them all?"

Sure, someone would have thought that they had obtained victory from a tenacious fight in the midst of the chaos. However, Megami was hit by a log so quickly that she could not even remember anything but a blast of darkness that taken away her sight at the last moment. Xenneth smile had a gentle sadness as his big blue eyes gazed to the video screen open upon his desktop.

"A-actually, your Emergency Jackout function kicked in. Sorry, Megami-chan but you were knocked out."

Megami blinked as she looked at Xenneth as if she was puzzled. "O-oh..." Megami had said as she seemed to look at Xenneth as if she was confused, "So, should we not jack back in and finish?"

Xenneth now reflected Megami's expression as his head lifted up to see meet her eyes.

"W-what? B-but...how can we continue? We can't go...-back...?" Xenneth paused hearing himself, and then slapped his forehead, "That's right! Warrior-san is still there and it was just an emergency logout. Our log should still be there to resume! We should get back online!"

Megami smiled, warmly hearing Xenneth. "As you say, 'my thoughts exactly,' yes?" Megami said causing for Xenneth to press the log button on his P.E.T. With a nod, a hesitant smile, he gazed at the screen determined to not repeat the same mistake.

"Megami.EXE! Relogging-in!"

With the upgrades placed into his care, Xenneth had begun to scrap them together. Raking them into his small satchel, he had taken a good look at them, careful he had not dropped any stray items, and then spun on his heel and running to the door in his dash hoping to get back to the campus.

He would have to remember to tell the shop keep "Thank you" next time he was not panicking.
