Miyu nodded in agreement. "Sounds good enough to me. How about you send me some support so we can get this started?"
Leon grabbed a flameline and slotted it in. Miyu didn't wait for Leon to begin her assault though. As soon as she had finished talking, she had already begun charging energy in her body, and shot the powerful charge through the net, magnetizing the area. Wasting no time, she quickly dashed towards the enemy, tossing a large spark of energy at the donut, while forming her hammer to pulverize the tall, masquerading menace in front of her. Continuing the attack with the momentum she'd hopefully gained so far, she swung her now-scythe form weapon in an arc at the enemies, a blade of fire traveling through the air towards the tall one, as well as his two antenna'ed friends.

Miyu's magnetic field didn't stretch as far as she wanted it to but it managed to repel and stall some of the viruses close to her. It was enough for her as she stunned the donut and began to bash away at the tall, skinny virus with her hammer. The cloak endured the blows without revealing its identity but the Flameline scorched away the cloth to show a TrumpyEX virus before it was entirely deleted. The fire continued to burn a path to the antenna viruses. While one managed to leap away the other wasn't as fast and was struck by the attack. Its cloth was incinerated but the MelodyEX underneath was still alive. The other similar looking virus was still cloaked but Miyu assumed it was part of the same family.
Just then, the smoking ball virus charged straight towards her. Without enough time to react, the cloth slapped against her chest and crumpled to the floor in a heap. The virus had phased through the veil and was working its way into her body.

Miyu dropped her scythe and clawed at her chest as the wisp entered her. "G-get... out... of m-me..." she managed to choke out, her face contorted into a mishmash of fear, anticipation, and pain. She struggled to keep her sanity as the voice echoed in her head. She tried to talk it out of her in her mind. What do you want with me, virus? What are you? She paused for a moment, before adding Do you know anything about this Answerman that I've been sent to look for?
Leon, meanwhile, looked on as Miyu struggled on the outside, barely able to move or speak. "Damnit Miyu, shake it off! There are still enemies in front of you!" As she failed to respond, he checked her vitals, and upon finding the invasive parasite, began doing all he could from the Pet's interface to expel the invading entity.
Miyu continued to try to get information from the virus, while simultaneously trying to move her arm enough to guard herself a little from any incoming attacks. She knew she wouldn't be able to concentrate enough to move much with all of the howling going on in her mind. Until the invader was expelled, it seemed she'd be more or less stuck trying to focus enough to roll out of the way of an incoming attack instead of into it. At least the ground is magnetized, that might be enough to save me for a minute...

The pleas for help continue to echo inside Miyu's head despite her best efforts to try and communicate with the thing. It is entirely non-responsive to her words and it dawns on her that there is not enough coherence within the program to bargain with it. However, the revelation comes at a price and the wisp drains some energy to sustain its connection with Miyu.
She laments her failure and somehow manages to successfully expel it from her systems.

That... that was terrible. What a pitiful creature. Miyu frowned at the Wisp, feeling pity for the amalgamation of lost souls, and quickly began to move away from it.
Leon let loose a sigh of relief. "That could have gone far worse. Glad to see you shook it off so easily." Leon grabbed his chips, and sent the AreaGrab, AurHead1, and shotgun. "Line 'em up and tear 'em apart, Miyu. We have a Man to get Answers from!"
Miyu quickly activated the AreaGrab chip and moved so that she had lined up the wisp and the melodies, preferring the stronger looking one, but made sure to keep some distance between the Wisp and herself. She wasted little time before forming a disturbing looking head in front of her, and with a wave of her hand the head tore through the air towards it's victims with a menacing grin growing on its face as it neared. She took to a knee as soon as she fired the AurHead, and lined up her shogun at the wisp and a Melody. Once the AurHead had passed the Wisp, she fired the shotgun, hoping to put the being out of its misery.

The Wisp was too dazed to do anything before Miyu hit it with her Aurahead (90), striking the Melody behind it as well (90). She finished off her primary target with a Shotgun (50) but the Melodies behind it was smart enough to move out of the way and began to hop wildly about. One of them bounded on Miyu twice (20 x 2) and the other one landed a grazing blow as it followed its partner (20). The donut thing seemed to shake off its paralysis and began to shuffle around. The flying lump didn't move.

Miyu let out a long breath, clenching her teeth as she tightened her grip on Corruption. She was getting tired, and her body was covered in tender spots from the attacks she had been taking. I've got to finish this soon, or else I might not make it through.
Leon could see how tired she was getting without looking at the status screen. He was agitated with himself, thinking back on how he probably should have spent some money on a good recovery chip or two instead of hoping that a single Recov10 would be enough to get them out of tight spots. He quit clearly put better recovery chips on his mental to-do list. Then he focused his attention back on the problem at hand: finishing this fight and, if possible, finding Answerman to complete the mission. He began to weigh their options.
Miyu, meanwhile, had already decided to take action. She was hurt, but there were two targets very close to her that were begging to be finished. He scythe began to faintly glow, turning transparent, as she moved towards one of the instruments that had just used her as a tuning fork. She wasted no time swinging at it, aiming to chop the virus in half with a single swipe and adsorb some of the data from it as it was deleted to heal her own damage.
She quickly freed a hand and formed a glowing mass of energy, which she held on to while creating a gust and blowing herself away from the remaining Melody. Once she had landed she threw the energy at the virus, hoping the crackling electrical energy would be enough to finish it off.
She turned to the remaining two viruses and with her free hand shot an electrical jolt at the lumpy one. She fixed her grip on Corruption and made sure to not hold still, not wanting to give whatever was left a free shot at her.

The rest of the Melody virus was absorbed by Miyu before she leapt back and bombarded the area with an enormous static field. The other Melody virus fell to the electric attack but the other two viruses survived. They retaliated swiftly with the donut thing teleporting up to Miyu and laying down a mess of white goop around her feet and the flying lump releasing a swarm of BEES! Miyu evaded both attacks but the bee swarm was determined and attempted to make another run for the navi.

Leon saw this as their chance to turn the fight quickly in their favor. He sent Miyu the data for a Bubbler, as well as Thunder and Zapring. He lastly sent their Recov10. "Miyu. Hose those bees down so they don't get a second chance. Stun the other two viruses, and when you have a break in the action patch yourself up a bit."
Miyu didn't acknowledge the orders in any particular fashion, instead busy making sure the bees were at a safe distance, using her wings to help her hops around the field while making sure to avoid the web looking area that the one virus had just created. She loaded the bubbler mid jump, spinning around to face the bees and readying her shot. As soon as she landed and was stable, she fired a mass of bubbles at the bee swarm.
She then dispersed her weapon, instead forming a glowing and crackling yellow ball in each hand. She sent the first rolling along the ground like a bowling ball, headed for the first mystery virus. She fired the second at the flying virus, the ball spinning and morphing into a ring during its flight. Without taking her eyes off her enemies, the used the recov chip, it taking the form of a patch alternating cool and warm, and stuck it on her arm.

Or at least that's what it looked like from where Miyu was, there we so many of them in each group she had a hard time telling just what exactly was going on. A new wave of blanketed viruses blocked Miyu's progress but there was something very strange about the encounter. All of the viruses seemed to be moving around the single central immobile virus in the middle of the group - the large floating orb. Even small pieces of debris, sand and pebbles were circling it like rings around a planet. The single panel below the unfamiliar virus was magnetic, which implied whatever it was wasn't affected by the special terrain. The rest of the viruses looked to be weird shaped lumps. Miyu counted two of each if she could rely on their shape to identify them.
