Quick Bust

The watery shots, along with the next shotgun blast hit directly at the mecha, but that too was partially recovered by the self-repair system. Strangely, the MegaMet didn't even retaliate to the attack and slowly awaited for something.

When Enigma fired the Aurahead, the mecha finally responded and cast another shield! However, something strange occured. The force of the Aurahead cracked the shield, but it didn't pass through, but the force split both ways to Enigma and the mecha.

The MegaMet simply ignored this strange phenomenon and lifted its leg as high as it could and stomped to the ground. The shock traveled as far as the eye could see and the entire terrain was cracked! Thankfully, the shock was nullified by the RiskyHoney and the Bees managed to lay some damage.

Enigma let out a small gasp of held breath as he watched the shockwave ripple from his severely injured opponent, succeeding in destroying all of the terrain in sight. Already beginning to feel the ground cracking beneath him, he began to instinctively run away from the MegaMet, not in cowardice but to plan his next move. Ceres, think of something, and fast! he snapped to his operator, who was already grabbing the few chips he had left and putting them into action.

Use that health-draining thing on it, and I'll send the Shotgun and the sword, Ceres advised, hastily slotting in the two mentioned chips.

This should be the end, Enigma growled, upset at having to run to not fall through the panels. Indeed, he was leaving quite the trail of demolished terrain behind him, and he was running out of room in his area. So he began heading back towards the Met again, crafting a small purple box with two suction-cup-like bits on either end of it. Once he was within throwing distance, he chucked it at the humanoid robot with all his might, trying his best not to lose his balance and keep his stride as he did so. He began curving to his right, falling into a steady inwards spiral on the Met's position. Soon enough, the crackle of electricity could be heard and small purple bolts were rushing towards Enigma, filling up some of the nastier holes in his body refreshingly. Not wasting any time in remarking on his attack, Enigma whipped up the last Shotgun and fired the spray in the general direction of the Met, keeping up his inwards pattern as he did so. The holes following him were growing unnervingly near as his curve grew tighter and tighter around his adversary, and so Enigma equipped his final chip with an air of irritation.

Whipping the sword out to his right, Enigma began slashing inwards to his left, where the Met should hopefully be staying and attempting to keep track of him as he circled ever nearer. The green blade hummed contentedly as Enigma thrust it continuously inwards, leaving the usual trails in its wake to trace its path. After just a few seconds of his frenzied attack, however, Enigma was growing tired of stabbing with a wide sword and instead brought his arm behind him and let the sword trail behind him, hopefully giving the Met a few good smacks before Enigma grew too close to stop incoming damage.

This is way too close for comfort, murmured Ceres in a most unsettled manner. We need a new strategy...

As Enigma started to run and tried to keep him self from falling down a pit, the MegaMet simply started to float a foot up the ground and didn't trouble it self with the cracked panels. Enigma's attack worked as the vacuum and the shotgun hit the mecha dead on. When Enigma came close range for his sword attack, the mecha looked down and tried to grab the navi. Enigma striked the mecha's metal exterior and then tried to go for another, but the speed of the second swing was slower than the first, so the mecha was able to grab the navi without any problem and literally punted the navi far as he could. Enigma crashed, causing few of the panels to break. However, when he stopped, the panels underneath him didn't give away.

= Blah blah, lazy post, blah blah, my life is shot to hell lately. Sorry. :/ =

Ceres could already tell what Enigma's next plan would be from the moment a pit was formed around the MegaMet and he was sent flying halfway into the next day. Before his navi had even landed, Ceres had already slotted in the last of his chips that didn't involve grass; when Enigma had picked himself up and brushed himself off, he was greeted with the pleasant surprise of readiness.

Thanks, he said to his operator before activating his first chip. Unimpressed, he hardly gave the Vulcan enough time to assemble itself before firing it, not really expecting many of its bullets to hit. Pushing the Widesword behind him awkwardly (as it was still attached to his arm), he fired, loosing five bursts of data upon the Met before quickly activating his next two chips and preparing for his final attack. More as a sort of distraction than an actual attack, the telltale Fishy from the Dash's activation began to appear in front of Enigma, and the amorphous navi wasted no time in readying himself. Before the Fishy even had thoughts of speeding off towards its only enemy, Enigma already had his last cylindrical weapon prepped and aimed at the ground. It was plain in design, a light, wispy blue, but from the way Enigma was holding it, it might as well have been a snake. Wincing, and bracing himself, Enigma leapt into the air and fired the Airshot simultaneously, sending him spiraling through the air towards the Met.

That's my boy, grinned Ceres, crossing his arms expectantly.

As Enigma hurtled towards his foe, Widesword arm outstretched and spinning widely in the air, the Fishy began its attacks, speeding back and forth across the area to try and damage the MegaMet in any way it could. By its third run, Enigma had somehow oriented himself so that he was facing his adversary, and by the fourth, his Widesword was directed stock-still in front of him. By the fifth, well...

Ouch.

The Vulcan was set ablazed and all five shots made its mark, but the MegaMet was able to recover some part of the damage like always. When Enigma fired his Fishy right towards the virus, it was simply reflected back with its shield! When the reflected shot was heading towards Enigma, something strange happened and the cracked panel underneath him finally gave away! The navi fell to the ground and accidentally dodged the attack and he was able to get back up to the floor with the help of his Airshot.

= D: None of my plans are workiiiing =

Enigma, thoroughly disheveled and confused at the failure of his plan, looked to Ceres for a solution. Well, what now?

All you have left after the Widesword is a Rageclaw, so the only thing I can think of is using the claw to throw the sword, Ceres thought aloud. Apparently moving around doesn't get you very far anyways, he finished with a snort.

Doesn't seem like it'll work, replied Enigma with a frown. What about that shield?

Well, then, you hope that shield doesn't work, unless you get to have fun trying to use a Spice-one without any grass, Ceres chuckled in return. Sort of a weird situation, here.

Yeah, yeah, Enigma muttered to himself as Ceres slotted in the Rageclaw with a greatly exaggerated gesture. Reluctantly, Enigma activated his last-resort chip, and quickly began receiving the data of the oversized bear claw on his left, Widesword-less arm. Pushing away thoughts that suggested that this was a really bad idea, Enigma weakened his connections with the Widesword and grasped it with his obnoxiously large bear-hand. He held it awkwardly from the hilt by his thumb and index finger as if unsure of what to do next before resolve spread over his face like high tide over a flopping fish. Winding up behind him, Enigma brought his Rageclaw hand swinging downwards and released the sword just as it passed over his head, sending the sword spiraling towards the Met in a neon-green arc.

That won't finish it, suggested Ceres ever-so-helpfully from his couch in the spectator lounge. You may have some moving to do.

Giving his operator a sour look that suggested he didn't appreciate the sarcasm, Enigma took one tentative step forwards before beginning a run towards the foreboding bottomless pit laid out in front of him. Reluctantly allowing himself to build up speed, Enigma did his best to make sure he didn't put too much of his weight on any one step. Approaching the pit at a startling speed, Enigma reasoned out a plan in less than two cumulative seconds. In his mind, skidding to a halt and then using his momentum to propel himself up and over the pit seemed like the best way to fall into a cracked panel, so he opted for the only other thing that came to mind. Right before he was about to go careening into the abyss, Enigma planted one foot on the edge of the final cracked panel and pushed, forming himself into a thinner, flatter body as he soared to try and gain more distance. However, the Rageclaw refused to streamline itself, frustratingly enough, and so Enigma's idea may have been fruitless anyways. In any case, Enigma prepared himself for landing with the Rageclaw flexed and ready for mauling in front of him, perhaps even landing on the Met itself if he was lucky.

The Widesword was thrown directly at the MegaMet, who easily dodged the attack. However, it didn't expect Enigma to rush in like a mad man and attack him directly. The navi mauled a deep cut into the virus before it was punched by a rocket-propelled fist. Things didn't look too good for Enigma, but luck was on his side.

Realizing that the virus was in near destruction, the MegaMet suddenly landed down to the ground. It stood still until a giant explosion occurred at the belly of the mecha, propelling the torso up in to the sky like a rocket pod! The remain of the mecha simply disintegrated into harmless pieces and even provided safe passage for Enigma to walk through!

= Nice, thanks. =

Taking a deep, relieved breath, Enigma grabbed his reward data and turned to his operator. Fifteen hundred and a Guard-two, not bad, he announced.

Oh, yeah, that's good, Guard2 should really help us out; too bad we can't use it in the tourney, replied Ceres casually. Wanna jack out?

In reply, Enigma motioned to his body. Basically the only thing left intact was his head and the upper part of his torso, as the punches and recoil from landing had all but destroyed his abdominal area and legs. Yeah, let's go. And with that, Enigma disappeared from the Netopian Net in a flash of indigo pixels.

= Jackout. =
