Machman walks on to find himself knee deep in sea water. Aera's nowhere in sight for some inexplicable plothole reason, but Mazer finds her in the PET, singing happily away in standby.
Suddenly the navi sees fins in the distance. One of the sources tries to bite off Machman's face, leaping through the air and thankfully missing, revealing it to be a Piranha! Oh the terror!

Two small wings, quite similar to Machman's, materialize behind her back and kick on. She rockets up into the air, and perches herself high above the aquatic terrain below.
Machman follows suit, using his wings to boost himself into the air. He turns downward and aims his right arms towards the sea below. His arm segments into smaller segments and reconfigures and changes into a yellow buster with two large metal loops protruding from the end. The metal loops charge up with electrical energy and start to form a hoop of electricity between the loops. He aims towards the Piranha viruses below and fires. The Zapring blast has no recoil whatsoever, keeping him still in the air. The ring hits the surf and hopefully electrifies the immediate area with dangerous electricity.
He stays in the air for a few seconds before returning to the ocean terrain below. He calls Aera to fall back behind him as he pulls up a large yellow Guard shield to protect the pair from any counterattacks.

This, unfortunately, doesn't spread to the other viruses, who charge on at Machman, regardless of their ally's demise. They all jump into the air as Mach throws a Guard up, every single fish firing a trident of arrows at the speed navi, who reflects one attack back, but is pierced in the arms by two spears. They then all submerge.

They pair up and begin tracking their targets as bright orange orbs of plasma begin to grow between the wings, held by a strong magnetic "cage." The plasma quickly reaches full power and their targets are locked on. The plasma is then released from its magnetic encasement and down the length of the wings in a pair of rapidly expanding ruby-red beams. They bathe the area in a sinister red light as they scorch down range and shoving massive amounts of water out of its way. Though only one virus was targeted, the force of the blast threw water high into the air, hopefully with a virus or two with it.
Machman's wings float to his back and cooldown. He whips his right arm extended outwards, a covered blade handle nearly instantly materializing in his hand and a bright blue blade bursting forth from the top of the hilt. Machman then scans the sky in front of him, looking for any viruses that might have been thrown by the blast.

Machman notices a virus in the waves of water thrown in the air by the Thrust Laser and boosts forward to intercept. He off-sets himself just a few feet to the virus's side and proceeds forward at high speed. As he passes by, he swings his MachSword forward in a sidewards slash and leaving the blade pointed straight ahead.
If all remaining viruses are still submerged:
Machman doesn't find any viruses in the spray, and boosts into the air. He attempts to spot a virus in the waters below, and then swoop down and attack from a shallow angle with a simple downwards slash.

Machman makes a quick banking turn back to Aera, and touches down in front of her. His right arm swells and separates and quickly re-forms into a bulky yellow GutFist, ready to punch the scales off any over-confident virus.

Aera heals Machman as he blasts at the submerged Piranha, missing it, but managing to knock one of its companions in the air. Rushing at the virus, the speedster cleaves it in half before turning around and tightening his fist. The remaining piranhas come out, firing their arrows at him, whereupon he counters one to death, and dodges some others, but one still manages to harpoon him in the arm.

Zipping along the streamline of the hot spring network, the two warriors chat merrily before coming to a stop.
Apparently they've encountered an enbankment of some kind, water is on all three sides, but teeming with viruses.
There seems to be three Magneakers on dry ground in the front.

I see them. Three on land, unknown in the water. We need to get rid of those electrical viruses first.
Mazer's voice comes in through both Machman's and Aera's ear pylons.

Machman and Aera dash forward, Aera trailing closely behind Machman. As the pair reaches the Magneater viruses, a green boomerang forms in Machman's right hand. The bent blade-like object shimmers in the light, and already starts to sing as Machman continues forward. He takes aim towards the Magneater viruses and whips the boomerang forward. The boomerang zips forward, spinning so fast it looks more like a disk than a boomerang. The boomerang zips through the Magneater position and climbs to make a 180 degree turn and dive back to its return route. The boomerang zips back to Machman, and is quickly caught in his hand.
They both slide to a stop, and attempt to identify the viruses in the water around them. Machman notices two larger viruses, standing perfectly still while the others swam freely about. A perfect opportunity to use some bomb chips, since they likely won't be dodging it. Two small circular bombs materialize in his hands, and he hones in on their position. He then tosses the two Bombs into the water with a pair of splashes. Only a couple seconds later, the bombs explode; creating a white dome of water, followed by an even bigger tower of water and spray. Machman and Aera jump back a few feet to keep their 6 clear, and Machman raises a Guard shield.
Once this shield goes down, get out of here as fast as possible!
Aera nods in agreement, and braces for impact.

The Boomerrang cuts a path through all three viruses sitting on land. Machman then starts bombing the water. The Senbon swims out of the way of the first bomb, though when the second touches down, the blast radius manages to catch two of the fish. A Raingear sends a tower of water bearing down on Machman and his partner, though he manages to bounce the damage back. Then one of the Senbon he had attacked earlier fires three needles. The wind pushes Machman out of the way of the first two, though the third finds its mark.

Looking like two shimmering gems, the plasma twists and churns energetically as additional power is pumped into it by the magnetic waves emanating from the wings, acting not only as a power source, but also as a safety cage and its aiming device. The ruby orbs grow so large, they almost envelope the wings and reach 100% power. The magnetic prison is opened, and the plasma escapes with a roar and emits a pair of two bright red beams. The beams hit the water with a massive amount of force, evaporating a massive amount of water on contact and creating a mist.
The beams reach the peak of their output power, creating a concussive blast as all of the energy from the plasma "cores" were drained in less than a few seconds. The blast creates a pair of craters in the water, possibly throwing a virus or two out of the water. The beams quickly subside, leaving a trail of glowing bits of data that gently blow away into nothingness. Machman's wings, now white-hot, float over to his back and rapidly start cooling down.

Machman watches as the Raingear soars into the air, and primes his thrusters. He boosts up and towards the virus, his right arm outstretched to meet the virus. He takes a quick glance downwards and picks out one of the Puffy viruses in the water below. He opens his fist and his fingers start to shake as they lengthen and sharpen into wicked-looking claws. He continues towards the virus and increases speed.

Machman attempts to grab the virus with his clawed hand as his upper wings swing upwards, the thrusters facing straight up and positioned a few feet above his head. The thrusters fire in a short burst, causing Machman to tumble forward. Machman draws his right arm back as he flips 360 degrees and takes one last look down at his target. Just before completing the full flip, he tries to hurl the virus (if he successfully captured it in the first place) straight down to the water below. That splash is gonna be huge!
He stops his forward spin and starts to fall back to the ground. He quickly points his left hand down towards the second Raingear virus and waits just a second or two to prepare the zapring blaster and aim the rapidly forming electrical ring. He fires the recoil-less weapon and touches down, his boot thrusters kicking on to soften the landing.
Machman lands a few feet from Aera, and pulls up his final Guard shield. Aera dashes to him and places her hand on his shoulder, delivering a weak healing program to restore some of Machman's energy. He looks over his shoulder to Aera.

...and is promptly snatched out of the air by Machman! With a massive swing, Machman bats the enemy at the first Puffy virus, dealing damage to both (20)(20). Not forgetting his other enemies, he readies a single battlechip, aiming at the watery area near the Raingear virus. In one of the most incredible displays of luck this side of the XX decade, he manages to hit the Raingear in the water despite not being able to see it! The water element, and the water around the enemy, conduct the electricity and leave a charred corpse, which floats to the surface and promptly disappears. Angered by the loss of one of its allies, a Puffy fires a sphere of water at Aera and Machman, which is reflected by the guard, dealing severe damage back to it!
Oh, and there was some healing in there. Meh.

Machman's thrusters open up and propel him into the air. After getting around 50 feet above the ground, an extra boost of energy keeps him perched in the air as he prepares two gun-type chips. Both of his hands form into two larger versions of his MachBusters, his right loaded with energy shot, and his left loaded with a single large round. He takes aim at a Puffy with his right hand and waits for an opportunity to fire. He fires the shotgun with a loud boom, and aims up his left arm. He targets the last Raingear virus and fires the cannon, both shots pushing him up and backwards.
His thrusters run out of juice and cut out, causing Machman to fall back to the ground. He fires his boot thrusters to slow his decent and he lands with a dull thud. He then draws his right arm back, already swelling up and changing yellow. His arm then completes its transformation into a massive GutFist, and he waits for a virus to attack. Aera, standing a few feet off to his side and behind him, prepares to finish off any viruses with a weak energy blast from her hand.

Machman boosts into the air, taking the aerial way out. Loading up his weapons, the speedster blasts out two of the viruses.... in success! The targets are promptly deleted.
As the velocity ace descends back toward the ground, the final virus takes its chance and fires forth an explosive bubble at the navi.
But Machman is prepared, and soon uses his in-built Counter chip to teleport and whack the virus out of the water with a mighty punch. Aera springs into action, zapping the airblasted virus and finishing it off.
