I see the light...bulb

Splashman comes across something that looks like a massive lightbulb fixture. From the multiple fragments of glass strewn across the ground, this must be the end point.
The water warrior quickly hurries to the fixture and screws the lightbulb in, a faint, yet entrancing light shines from it, and a digital timer appears, apparently the amount of time needed to fully activate the bulb. It reads (1 battle).

Sighing and turning around, the aquatic battler warily looks around and spot something that makes his eyes pop out.

VIRUSES, HUNDREDS OF THEM, are slowly coming toward the faint light the bulb emits, apparently not realizing Splashman is there. Their intention? Something to protect the lightbulb against, that's for sure.

The Broadsword in Splashman's hand hums while glowing a light azure shade. The glass shards around the aqua navis feet start to tremble a bit.

-LET'S ROCK-
Oi...all that work just getting here, and he STILL had work to do? A Navi's work was never done, apparently. Oh well, if he just stood around and complained about it, he'd get deleted in no time flat. "All right, guess I'll get to work! But who should I zap first?" It occured to SplashMan that he never would have expected himself to say something like that. But when you had a giant electrical broadsword of doom at your disposal, you used it, no matter how much you didn't like electric based attacks.

"Well...eh, go ahead. Go for the...bee things! We know what most of the other viruses do, and I don't like those stingers..."

Something about the 'go ahead' part bothered him a little, but the Aqua Navi nonetheless placed both his hand on the hilt of the sword, and started charging it full of energy. He could see the blade crackling as it became infused with power...which soon exited the sword in the form of a lightning strike, headed straight for the trio of EleBees. Something about deleting Elec viruses with an Elec attack was incredibly satisfying...probably since he hated getting attacked by them so much.

But this left his operator with a predicament. She could send over one chip at this point, but what one? Guard for defense? Recover80 for healing? Something else that her Navi could attack with? ...And then she noticed something. EleBall floated. MagTect floated. Magneaker were light on their feet, since they could float to dash attack. Billy were grounded, but didn't seem all that heavy. So they could probably all be blown away pretty easily..."Aha! We need the viruses to cool off! And I know how to do that!" Sabrina's chip option? A box-shaped fan with a blue background. "Battlechip, Wind! Slot in!"

A fan materialized in front of SplashMan, who looked puzzled at the choice as it began to blow. "So...why are we blowing them away? Can't we just have the sword absorb their attacks?"

"We can't rely on the sword too much, you know. Knowing our luck, it'd break right when we need it most! Besides, MagTect have a direct attack, so we probably can't absorb their attack!"

"Well, if you say so..." Even with it explained, the Navi held the sword up a bit, just in case anyone's attacks made it over. Couldn't be too careful at this point, right?

[Order of Turn:
1-Charge up Broadsword
2-Charge up Broadsword
3-Broadsword charge attack on EleBeeA, EleBeeB, and EleBeeC (???)
4-Wind chip (100 HP, reduces enemy accuracy for up to 3 turns)]
Splashman focuses his innate power on the Broadsword, the blade humming rapidly in response, before releasing an eradicating stream of electricity at the Elebees, reducing them to dust.
The other viruses blink a little bit, before moving forward, still distracted by the lightbulb's glow. They seemed to be a little agitated, though, when the Windbox started hampering their progress.

After watching the viruses struggle against the wind for a moment, SplashMan placed his hands on the sword's hilt, and prepared for his next assault. But who? Hmm...

"Hold it!"

"Ahh!" The suddenness and sharpness of his operator's voice nearly made him drop the sword. "W-What?"

"We're not using the sword this time. Just hold it in your non-shooting hand or something!"

Considering how Sabrina had all but said they were going to go without the sword for a bit, the Aqua Navi wasn't too surprised, and simply held the broadsword in this left hand. "All right! So, what's the plan?"

The plan? That was actually a good question. She hadn't really thought of how they were going to attack with the sword, just that they were going to do it. But there was one chip that always made a non-plan come together nicely for them. "Duh! What chip do we always use?" And so, she inserted a chip featuring a Lark. Anyone that had ever seen them battle before would've been shocked. "Battlechip, WideShot! Slot in!"

WideShot's gun formed over SplashMan's right hand, who started going over the options. There were too many Billy to take out with one WideShot, MagTect had too much HP, ditto for EleBall...but Magneaker was perfect. So, he performed an action that he could perform in his sleep: he trained the water blaster on the trio of viruses, quickly boosted the power of the attack within his own system, then unleashed a wide blast of water towards the bug-like Elec viruses. Yep...another day at the office for him.

That took care of another group of viruses, hopefully. But what next? A WideShot wouldn't work on anything else, and it'd be nice to take out each group in one hit...hold on a sec. She actually had other chips that could do more damage than WideShot now. "Okay, so...oh, got it!" Another chip acquired from virus busting was inserted; this one featured a Catack. "Battlechip, TankCannon! Slot in!"

The WideShot gun faded...as did the rest of the Navi's arm, and was replaced with a large black cannon. "...They really went all out on TankCannon, didn't they? But, doesn't it only hit one virus?"

"Forgot what I told you about it? You should be able to set it to hit either 1 or 3 viruses. The 3 virus shot's less accurate, though, so be careful!"

"Okay!" After a few moments, he managed to figure out how to adjust the shot, and with a clicking noise, the cannon had been altered to shoot a wider blast. And then, after being aimed at the spherical virus trio, it let out a blast with enough force to nearly knock the Navi off his feet. The blast itself was pretty explosive, as well. It seemed kinda hard to believe its power wasn't any greater than Hi-Cannon...

Sabrina was, at this point, fiddling around with one chip in her hand; that ElecReel she had just obtained. It should be able to take out all the Billy in one shot, but her Navi wasn't used to Elec chips...oh well, he'd just have to deal with it. "All right, here's something for those Billy! Battlechip, ElecReel! Slot in!"

The cannon faded for SplashMan's regular arm, save for an electrical-looking gun in place of his right hand. "ElecReel?!" ...But, he had said he'd try to deal with strong Elec chips, so he had no choice...he positioned it towards the center of the Billy swarm, for maximum electrical spreading, then let out...a tiny lightning bolt? What kind of attack was that? He watched it sail along...and then, suddenly, it exploded into a series of bolts, each one fully prepared to zap whatever it might hit. He had to admit, it was a pretty impressive sight.

As for the MagTect, the only way they could get them in one shot was with either the broadsword's charge, or an AquaSword slash. And neither was an option at the moment. So, they might as well sit back and do something defensive. With Wind in effect, Guard almost seemed like a waste, so that left one obvious option..."All right, that's enough for now. Heal, heal up!" Pink recovery chip, inserted. "Battlechip, Recover80! Slot in!"

The Navi glowed for a moment as some of his injuries were rewritten and healed, before eyeing the remaining adversaries. He had gone through quite a bit to get the light bulb in that socket; to heck if it was going anywhere while he was still there.

[Order of Turn:
1-WideShot1 chip attack on MagneakerA, MagneakerB, and MagneakerC (60+10, Aqua)
2-TankCannon1 chip attack on EleBallA, EleBallB, and EleBallC (80)
3-ElecReel1 chip attack on BillyA, BillyB, BillyC, BillyD, and BillyE (80)
4-Recover80 chip on SplashMan (80, Recovery)]
The Wideshot gushes forth, readying to swamp the Magneakers to kingdom come. One of them tries to sneak a peek from the lightbulb at a different angle, so it ducks down under the tidal wave that washes its friends away and comes out bruised, but not down.
The TankCannon attack proves to decimate one Eleball entirely, the impact smacking it into another, deleting two. The other one slowly moves forward.
The Billys are all but wiped out, two still march steadily forward after the racing electrical shock.
As Splashman heals himself, the viruses twitch in anger at their slow progress. The MagTects, however, conjure up an idea. Calling the other viruses over, they plant themselves in the ground, the others supporting them, and start charging their magnets and aiming them at the Lightbulb.
The targeted object shakes a little, tilting a slight bit toward the virus' direction, its light flickering spazztastically.
Uh-Oh.

"...Augh!!!" SplashMan wasn't really one to mince words; when he said 'augh', that's usually exactly what he meant. He couldn't let them get the light bulb after all the effort he spent getting it over here, and protecting it from harm. Fortunately, his electrical broadsword made this task less than impossible. "Okay, I'm going to give them one good attack, and see how that works! That okay with you, Sabrina?"

"Sure. I don't want you getting close, so AquaSword's out of the picture, and they're all kinda grouped together, so you might be able to hit them all! Just...make sure you try to take out the MagTect, okay? They can't use magnetism if they don't have any magnets!"

"Okay!" Gripping the sword tightly like usual, the Aqua Navi began transferring some of his own power to it. He was NOT going to let that light bulb leave that socket if it was humanly possible. Or Navily possible. But he had never heard of that word before, if it even existed. Quickly shaking his head to prevent himself from being needlessly distracted, he did his best to place as much of his might as possible for the blast before the charging was finished...which turned about to be right then. He attempted to point the sword toward the trio of magnetic viruses before it unleashed its steady stream of electrical fury towards the group. It wasn't really a question of whether viruses would get deleted, it was more of how many would, and who the survivors might be. Not to mention that that Wind would vanish shortly, leaving the bulb defenseless aside from him.

Fortunately, that didn't leave the bulb entirely defenseless, thanks to some quick chip insertion by the girl in charge of the Navi's PET. "Battlechip, Guard2! Slot in!"

A few moments after the sword's mighty blast ended, a red shield formed in front of SplashMan, who was both pleased and confused about its existance. "Just to be sure, this is for...?"

"It's for anything that didn't get deleted by that attack and tries something funny! But don't use too much effort to protect it. I mean, we can get a new light bulb, no problem. But it's harder to get a new SplashMan!"

"Roger!" And so, the electric sword-wielding Aqua Navi bided his time behind the shield, awaiting anything that might've actually withstood the lightning attack and tried to counterattack...

[Order of Turn:
1-Charge Broadsword
2-Charge Broadsword
3-Broadsword charge attack on BillyA, BillyC, EleBallA, MagneakerC, MagTectA, MagTectB, and MagtectC (???) (attack shall be attempted to be focus on the MagTect first)
4-Guard2 chip attack (120-, Reflects an attack)]
The lightbulb tittered, the Broadsword shimmered, the viruses pulled, and Splashman desperately hurried to defeat the viruses. There was a whole lot of suspense in this moment.
Then, instead of shooting a massive bolt of lightning like it usually did, a "shink" sound came from the blade as a light went from the blade's end to tip. A rhythmic humming erupted around the netscape and the Broadsword seemed to be... vibrating?
Looking around, the water warrior finally saw what had really happened.
The glass shards on the floor, results of failed attempts for lightbulb repair, were slowly rising into the air. Suddenly, the sword swung forward on its own, the blade pointing right at the viruses.
Reacting to the blade's will, the glass converged in front of the blade and re-assembled into something huge, something massive, something...
sharp.
An exact replica of the Broadsword's blade materialized in front of the aquatic battler, except, much, much BIGGER. About 10 stories in height by real world standards.
The Guard2 materialized on Splashman's left hand, acting like the shield it should be.
If you took a better look at it, the water navi almost looked like a knight.
Suddenly, the lightbulb, stopped tilting toward the viruses, and went back to its normal position. Did the magnetic pull stop?
No.
Looking at his right hand, the Broadsword's blade crackled with electricity, it was being drawn straight toward the viruses!
Then, for no apparent reason, the giant glass blade, attached itself to the normal blade.
I guess you should let it fly?

((Spend the next turn doing whatever, let the sword go, charge it with more energy and let the sword go, or tighten your grip on the sword, whatever.))
...Now THAT was a huge blade. And now that it was huge and being drawn to the viruses, SplashMan suddenly found himself not wanting it anymore. "Uh...can I let go of the sword now?"

"...You're still holding it? For the love of all that's holy, drop it!"

And the Navi did it. He released the sword, not wanting to be dragged along for the ride. Besides, it's not like it needed to be swung to delete things anymore. And so, there was only one thing to do: hide behind that wonderful Guard2 and wait for magnetism to do its thing. "I'm just going to hide here for a while..."

"Go ahead, but be careful. If it fades, make sure you dodge whatever comes your way!" Sabrina really wanted to come up with a better plan than that, but she had nothing. After all, when you had a gigantic sword that seemed like it was about to head for the enemy, did you want to do anything to screw that up? Heck no.

And so, the Navi remained right behind the red shield, awaiting for any signs of giant sword action, virus deletion, virus attacking, or any combination of the above...

[Order of Turn:
1-Let go of Broadsword
2-Guard2 chip attack (120-, Reflects an attack)
3-Dodge
4-Dodge]
The sword flies through the air, screaming toward the viruses, before coming to a complete halt before them. The viruses look up, confused, and then their eyes widen.
The silhouette of a giant skeletal warrior with ancient rustic armor grumbles in front of the virus back, its right arm grasping firmly on the glass-encased broadsword.
Its single visible gleaming left eye shined as it let out a bloodcurling howl and slammed the sword down onto the virus pack, sending the glass flying everywhere, luckily for Splashman, he had a Guard. :'D
The giant skeletal figure let out a low grumble and walked away, slinging the broadsword over its back before fading away entirely. Loud, and large footsteps echoed throughout the netscape in the direction it headed.
Suddenly, the lightbulb shone to life, a brightness like none had ever seen before illuminated the area, and then, more neon lights spread themselves throughout the network.
The job was over.

Okay, so he was nearly blinded by the light bulb. But aside from that, SplashMan felt rather good. After all, he just fought off swarms of Elec viruses and lived to tell the tale. And he was an Aqua Navi. What was everyone else's excuse for not getting the light bulb in? "Okay!" And the radio was set down in front of...wherever he was. It was too bright to tell how close it was to the light bulb. "Transferring the data from the viruses over!"

"Nah, just take it with you. I'm jacking you out now!"

The Aqua Navi gathered the unanalyzed data, and held it with both of his hands. "Okay, whenever you're set!" And on cue, he and the data vanished from the main Net.
