"Three down...plenty more to go." Keera had blew a sigh as she had looked towards the remaining units. She had downloaded chip data while Empress herself had prepared herself for battle as she used her signature support technique, Queen's Royale. Her power started to increase slightly while her body began to let out a soothing aura that recovered her for a small amount of hit points while she had begun to stare towards her enemies with her eye color going from purple to an azure blue showing her accuracy increase.
"Let's act quickly for a counter attack!" Empress had responded as her last defense was knocked off no longer able to deflect attacks with her whip. She had intercepted the first battlechip as she aimed her focus to the Eleball viruses. In an instant, her arms had came together as they turned into a mechanized machine gun unit. As it begun to fire, a multitude of shots were divided equally between the three viruses. Whether or not they would be destroyed was yet to be seen, but she knew she would be able to at least cause some damage.
"We won't be able to delete them all right now." Keera had looked towards the horde. To leave Empress open would be a foolish move. However, the netnavi had an idea as she stared towards the virus set up. Her eyes hadn't changed, but a slight gleam had shown as she opened up communications with Keera once more. "Madam Keera! May I request a Wind Chip?" Keera had glanced towards the window as she had thought foolishly of the idea. Such a chip could be used to lower accuracy, but that wasn't her aim right now. However Empress stuck by her words as she called out to her silent NetOp with the only words she could think of at that time:
"Trust me Madam Keera."
Keera had stared silent towards the window as communications went silent. Empress had swallowed hoping just for once that Keera would actually take her suggestion seriously and allow her to make a call on her own instead of relying on usual tactics. As Keera's eyes had glowed slightly as brown box slowly materialized as it appeared in front of Empress. The low pitched hum started as a blast of wind shot forward to sweep the viruses backwards. Empress had smirked as she had saw the wind blast through the enemy area.
"Thank you Madam Keera. Now, let's combo with Magbomb1." Keera's lips had curved into a smile realizing the call Empress was making. She had let her eyes give a slight glow once more as another battlechip started to download. The moment the viruses had been swept backward, she had grasped the Magbomb1 as she peeked from behind the Windbox catching the position of the viruses at the moment. Reeling her arm back and then giving the bomb a toss, she watched the electric unstable ball fly forward as it aimed to crash into the Handy centered into the middle of the group of viruses. This was all done of course while Keera had taken cover behind the Windbox from enemy fire, and since the wind forced her enemies back, she was hoping they flew into the Metal or Snare panels to give her a field advantage to her already powerful Magbomb1.
As Empress's aura had vacuumed more material from the atmosphere around the viruses, she had taken refuge behind the giant fan box. "Empress..." the navi had responded to the NetOp's call as she had face forward as she leaned on the back of the Wind Box. "Good call." Empress hadn't said nothing from the awkward feeling it was to be praised by Keera for maybe once. It wasn't often she was handed a compliment being nothing more than a minion or tool for her NetOp, but she was starting to see of course why she had stayed in the SciLab area even when it seemed hopeless they'd find anything.
She savored the moment. She didn't waste the compliment as she nodded her head confirming her gratitude. "Thank you, Madam Keera."

Empress increases her stats and begins firing into the eleballs with her machinegun, taking down two of the three. She then forms a small wall in front of herself and lets the wind take her bomb, which slams into the handy viruses. and stunning them once again. The last eleball rushes forward and damages the windbox.

Empress had quickly leapt from behind the barricade as her right hand had coursed with electricity while Keera had already been on the move to quickly download the next battle chip. She had let the electric charge surging through her arm slowly converge into her right hand as an electric ring was formed and she had quickly whirled her body around in a swift motion sending out an electric ring as it spun through the air aiming for the Handy virus to stun it in an instant once more.
"If we keep that virus delayed, we won't have to worry about any annoying bombs." Empress had said as she turned her attention from the virus and focused it towards the Bunny viruses. She had quickly lifted her right hand once more as Keera had begun sending another set of battle chips. A ball of flame forming in her palm had burned and crackled as she had set her arm aiming it like a projectile towards the hopping viruses. Giving a burst of energy from her right hand the ball of fire had shot forward aiming for it's desired targets.

As Empress moves around the windbox, she steps on a snare, which clamps shut around her leg, messing up her attack. She then fires two heatshots, the first striking both bunnies and the second deleting just the eleball. The last bunny then fires a zapring, which reflects and kills it. Since her original target is dead, Empress's drain simply hits one of the hands. The stun on both then wear off and one of them lays a bomb.

Empress had growled as she felt herself being trapped by the Snare panel. It was just her luck to be caught in a trap, but she was relieved that the rest of her combinations had taken care of the viruses, or a good few of them. She had lifted her right hand as a distorted energy around her that was similar to what her body had given off in her palm had gather in a ball of loose energy. It was opaque, but the force behind it was strong as the navi had rushed forward aiming the forcing energy ball towards the bomb sitting in front of her lining it up with herself and the HandyEX virus behind it to send it flying towards it.
"I'll send Ringlog1 to barrage them." Keera had noted as her eyes started to glow. Downloading the data, Keera had watched as the cubes of the accumulated data formed into cylindrical logs in front of Empress. She had taken the heel of her boot as she sat it on the side of the log and gave it a shove off sending it flying forward to bowl over the HandyEXA and HandyEXB viruses followed by another as she had continued her barrage.
"Their attacks are delayed, so there is no reason to defend Empress." Keera had advised as she sent one more battle chip downloading it into the net. Empress's right hand had grasped a stalk of green as she aimed it towards her enemies like a menacing gun. The stalk peeled revealing a cob of corn as it let out a quick blast into the air sailing through as they aimed to make contact with the remaining Handy viruses.
Empress not knowing if her enemies were destroyed had folded her arms as her distorted energy had vacuumed around the area accumulating any data left over to recover her. She wasn't sure if she'd get any traces, or at least a bit of data to repair herself, but it didn't bother her much.

Empress successfully launches the bomb into one of the Handy, getting rid of the ticking threat. She then rolls at log at them, though the first target dodges. However, the second log hits the primary target and misses the second. Then the final vegetable filled attack finishes the final foe.

"Ms. Keera, have you noticed?" Keera was sitting in her chair as she lounged and settled herself in while slotting a battlechip into her right PET and connecting it to her palm. The data started to rush to her Folder.Mem program apart of her cybernetics extension within her. Hearing Empress only caught her attention as she had opened her eyes going from relaxed to curious to what Empress had found out.
"What is it?" she had asked her navi as Empress had brought her arms to her side after finishing up the last of the data transfer. "Well, it's just odd that I think we're fortunate. We've come such a long way in both developing our bonds as well as our strength. That last battle was proof enough as well as our accumulation of data lately from viruses and other bounty. If I wouldn't have known any better, then I think we're developing a true partnership.

"This could be a problem..." Keera didn't respond. As far as she knew, Empress was right. Seeing the field so messed up and tangled about with the problematic panels and the virus line up, it was safe to assume that they would have a hard time fighting back if they were to be in danger from point to point in this battle. That only however made it more interesting in testing their abilities in situations such as this.
"So, you're the one that wanted to try this team work thing, right? Let's see you try something." Empress knew Keera was only taunting her, but this was a chance to show her she was right about this feeling. She wasted no time in trivial thinking as she examined the field. Her arm whipped around grabbing her main scythe weapon as she spun it around in a whirling fashion preparing herself for battle.
"I'll need the Heatshot battlechips, as well as Guard." Empress had requested as Keera responded loading the projectile battlechips into her PET by downloading them through her cybernetic interface. While she was doing that, Empress had taken the initiative to attack with her whip as she swung it about aiming to strike two out of three of the electric viruses that was present as she snapped her wrist and whirled her arm skillfully.
"I'll need to keep my range..." she had said before lowering her right arm that was gripping her scythe and revealing her left hand that was already accumulating a build up of heat along her right arm. Her fingers had dug into the ball of flame before pulling her arm back and giving a thrust sending the blast of heat forward towards the first set of Boomer viruses, and then pulling back once more preparing a second blast of fire forward towards the second set.
"We'll have to defend a lot while cutting down their numbers." Keera had warned as she had loaded the last of the data while Empress aimed her massive aura feeling it pull from the virus area to drain some energy from one of the enemy units. Her arms had been ready as she brought them up raising and presenting her shield and reached her right hand around past concentrating her vacuuming force to drain energy from one of the viruses.

Empress wisely decides to put the two ogres on hold while providing herself with a bit of protection. She then shoots off a bunch of flames which burn through three of the boomers and the panels beneath them. One of the large cannoguards in the back then attacks, though the blast is reflected. A gunner then fires upon her, ripping through both of her shields and damaging her a bit. However, he following HP drains lets her recover what she lost.

Empress had whipped her scythe behind her back sliding it into place after deflecting the last of the enemy assault. Standing there gazing towards the enemy line up, she could see a good number of them still stood, but it wasn't bad for a start. At least that's what she thought. Keera was already preparing the next assault as her eyes had shown a glow of violet color.
"Not bad...but I think we could've done better." Empress had folded her arms as she had smirked. Her expression followed by a sound chuckle, Keera had glared towards the screen thinking Empress was teasing her.
"What's so funny?" Empress's eyes had glanced towards the corner hearing the sound of annoyance in Keera's voice from the recent transmission. "You said 'we' and not 'you.' That's all Madam."
From that response, Keera was starting to like it better than when they weren't trying to connect with each other on a cooperative level. The master and follower idea was more of her taste, but there was no use complaining. "I'm sending Shotgun first. Let's just focus on the battle." Keera had said getting both their attentions set back onto the virus horde. Empress had agreed as she stood her ground with her ranged chips not risking the disadvantage of the terrain.
Lifting her left palm, Empress had aimed her arm towards the distant Boomer virus that had remained. The small barrel rim had glistened as it pointed towards the Boomerang wielding virus, and not long after a blast of gunfire sounded off as the round flew towards the virus and it's spread angling to blast an extra virus unit afterwards.
"That CannonGuard virus has some strong armor." Keera had tipped to Empress as she started to download a chip in mind. Empress had understood as she nodded and clinched into her right hand a small Powie virus. She had cocked her hand back and tossed forward to throw the Powie directly over the virus. It's form changed in mid-air as it came to a sudden stop and came crashing down aiming to smash the cannon and it's defense.
"Empress...we'll have to play it safe. Get on defensive starting now. We'll need a good shot for a barrage of attacks so get out of the zone of hole panels and watch out for snare panels.." Empress understood and nodded as Keera had given the command. She had let her arms pick up and sway freely behind her as she broke forward into a quick dash as she navigated around the hole panels while looking to get near panels that wouldn't disrupt her ground attacks.
Knowing the viruses would have a counter attack, Empress had ready springing her legs for any quick jumps or barrel rolls out of their line of fire. While she did that, her only sure defense was a draining field of distortion around her body that was sure to suck away the enemy's energy.

Keera had said getting both their attentions set back onto the virus horde. Empress had agreed as she stood her ground with her ranged chips not risking the disadvantage of the terrain.
Lifting her left palm, Empress had aimed her arm towards the distant Boomer virus that had remained. The small barrel rim had glistened as it pointed towards the Boomerang wielding virus, and not long after a blast of gunfire sounded off as the round flew towards the virus and it's spread angling to blast an extra virus unit afterwards.
"That CannonGuard virus has some strong armor." Keera had tipped to Empress as she started to download a chip in mind. Empress had understood as she nodded and clinched into her right hand a small Powie virus. She had cocked her hand back and tossed forward to throw the Powie directly over the virus. It's form changed in mid-air as it came to a sudden stop and came crashing down aiming to smash the cannon and it's defense.
"Empress...we'll have to play it safe. Get on defensive starting now. We'll need a good shot for a barrage of attacks so get out of the zone of hole panels and watch out for snare panels.." Empress understood and nodded as Keera had given the command. She had let her arms pick up and sway freely behind her as she broke forward into a quick dash as she navigated around the hole panels while looking to get near panels that wouldn't disrupt her ground attacks.
Knowing the viruses would have a counter attack, Empress had ready springing her legs for any quick jumps or barrel rolls out of their line of fire. While she did that, her only sure defense was a draining field of distortion around her body that was sure to suck away the enemy's energy.

Empress' Shotgun flies towards the Boomer, but unfortunately, it doesn't release its clothespin grip on its boomerang, and remains invulnerable to damage. The lead gunner, however, has no such invulnerability, and is blown to pieces. The CannonGuard sees the Quake coming, and lowers its barriers, but the massive force of the falling object ignored such a small inconvenience and crushed the enemy anyways. A quick roll to the side allows Empress to dodge both the Boomer's boomerang and a bolt of lightning from an Elecogre, but a quick look down at her feet reveals a targeting reticule. A moment later, a faint ping can be heard, just as three shots ring out, and three rounds of bullets collide with Empress, dealing minor damage. She manages to drain some of the, now unprotected, Boomer's health to replace her own, however.

As the snare had clamped around Empress, she had gritted her teeth resisting the urge to scream in pain, as well as not to say a numerous amount of curse words that were left unsaid. She had quickly reached her right hand out as she forced the snare open to release her with all her might only to get her dress entangle onto it's teeth. Making a drastic decision, she had tore off the right leg of her dress exposing her dark pantyhose that were slid up to her hips. Her dress design more like a cut off slant as it covered her right leg and was now blowing freely in that very direction. She would surely have to refresh her graphic appearance after the battle.

"No, not that..." Keera had corrected. "The thought of you even daring to show a little more of your body after that encounter with that perverted navi that took a glance under your dress." Empress had frowned slightly at that mention, yet she didn't let it bother her.
Humor...it wasn't like Keera at such a time, especially when glancing back on such memories she thought was pitiful. It was then though that it was a hint close enough to know that she was thinking about what that strange individual said about being a team.
She had taken a battle stance as she placed her right left frontal and prepared to fight back with a smile now knowing Keera had the right idea.
"Let's just get this over with." she had said readily, waiting for the response. "Right...sending Cannon and Magbomb1." With the reply, Empress had lifted her right arm as her right arm had formed revealing a cannon unit along with the barrel as it was pointed directly towards the Boomer virus that had recently fired off it's boomerang. She didn't want to give it a chance to recover, so she quickly braced for blow back as she fired off the blast of the cannon aiming to catch it while it's clipped mouth was still open at least.
Empress had quickly given a flick of her wrist as the Magnet Bomb materialized into the palm of her hand. She had whipped back and quickly slung her arm forward aiming for the stationed Gunner unit as well as to let the spread affect the second unit at it's side along with the Elecogre virus if it was to make contact at the least. She had breathed heavily since the battle had taken it's toll and she wasn't doing so well seeing that there were more dangerous virus units still alive and kicking. She had braced herself ready to dodge with a quick side roll while her aura had stretched out like a magnet attempting to snatch some more energy from a virus within the area.

Empress shoots the boomer, all but killing it. Using the metalic flooring to her advantage, she then throws a bomb which downs both Gunners, though the orge manages to move out of the way. She then ends her attack phase. However, just when it looks like the boomer will be able to hang in there, some sort of power hits it and it disappears. An orge then attacks, though Empress evades the strike. However, a pair of crosshairs then fall upon her and a split second later, she get hit with a blast.

As Empress had taken on more heavy damage, she could barely hide her irritation from throughout the battle. She had breathed heavily as Keera herself had watched her struggle a bit from turn for turn. It was beginning to seem like this was way harder than she thought it would be. She didn't show no concern however, even for her NetNavi as she stayed silent watching as she kneeled down with the tail of what was left of her dress dragging across the cyber ground.
"Only a few units left. The only thing to hope for is if you can hold up that long." Empress had taken the comment as a joke letting out a sound chuckle even as she sat weakened in front of three fully strong virus units and one virus with the ability to deflect attack damage. It would still be though nonetheless, there was no doubt about that, but Empress had shown no major worry as she stood back up letting her hands hang down to the side.
"Don't worry about me Madam. I've been through way worse." Empress had noted most likely trying to play strong in front of Keera once again. It wouldn't work for too long, especially at times like this one. Still, she wanted to be that strong for the one she served, even if it was just to pretend. If she could do that, then maybe Keera would put her faith into her more and think of her more than just a peon. To be on equal grounds with her NetOp, that was a real honor considering that the bond they shared like that was only so long ago, but what was it that made her so cold in the first place?
That question was obvious enough. Her prejudice towards everything people touched and created as experimentation. It was at that time that Empress had realized that it was her very creation that made Keera see her as nothing more than a pawn.
"Empress! Hurry and counterattack!" The navi hadn't made any major flinch or wince reacting to Keera's voice. It would show she was thinking too hard, so instead she had quickly activated the effects of her signature skill, Queen's Royale, and let her eyes glow a sparkling sapphire while her other skills had powered up to a great extent readying her for battle as she had increased her stats and output.
"Downloading Ringlog battlechip!" Keera had informed as Empress had quickly took to the Ringlog Battlechip. Because of Empress's recent movement and navigation from the hole panel area, she had taken advantage of the movement across the field since she had already lined up for a decent shot for her ground attacks. The moment the Ringlog had materialized in her view she had quickly spun around snapping her torn dress's tail into the air as the roundhouse kick had sent the cylindrical log on a roll towards the first two electric virus units while using the force of her kick to power up her attack.
She didn't stop there as Keera downloaded another wood property chip. She had taken her aim as her right hand had formed into a green stalk and split open in an instant revealing a yellow cob as it burst sending forward a powered up blast of popcorn. The yellow bursts of corn flew forward as they sent a whistle through the air aiming to explode on contact with the targets like bombs were falling from the sky. Empress had lowered her arm as she prepared to get on defense once again.
Sure she could try to finish it up with one sweep. It was too risky. Instead, she had readied to dodge the return fire from her enemies, most likely the cannon considering it's massive strength. Her own body lowered into a position ready to brace and dodge, but her body also pulled in the direction of the cannon as it's unstable state caused it to aim to absorb data from the cannon virus.

Empress powers up and throws out the Ringlog. Of course, her sig cant quite work miracles, so the innaccurate log still only hits one. Of course, the following Cornshot fairs a bit better and the two remaining ogres get shot down. The last virus takes a shot at Empress. She tries to dodge but its enemy seeking systems prove a bit too great for her to make the shot miss.

As the impact of the blast had struck Empress no less, she had flew into a spin, but not long before her body had grooved as the tail of her torn dress had cloaked her hand as it reached for her scythe and she gave a spun as the whiptail end of her weapon had lashed forward in order to strike the cannon while it was still exposed. She was clearly attempting to stun it while the barrel had exposed the cannon's interior from the quick attack, and now she had that grim and same uncaring expression on her face as she stared forward confident that her attack would at least cause the virus to freeze up.
"...you're my bitch now." she had commented as she stared towards the distant virus seeing it was all alone and she could take her time deleting the ground unit. Keera had taken her time as she smiled loading one chip she had in reserve. Even for her, she had admit with her untouched look, she let a word slip from her mouth commenting towards her navi's snap reaction and behavior.
"Cool..." she had simply said as she downloaded the Recover10 battlechip and gave a slight healing to Empress and then the navi continued with her assault as she had used the next battlechip that was in reserves. She had let her right hand arch with a crackle of energy as she held her scythe to defend with. She flew forward as she had made haste striking with her Static Blast as the energy had gave a pulsing blow back with a thrust of her weapon attempting to push the cannon virus back.
"You're going to push it off the Metal panel that way." Keera had stated thinking Empress had at least had her reasons for making such a move considering they could finish it with one electric attack. "Yes, but this will be better..." Empress had noted as she had raised her weapon and swung it releasing the electric chip's energy in a ZapRing she had savored for her last striking action as it flew forward to attack and stun the last cannon virus.
As she done finally taken all the action she could, she had taken her weapon drawing back as her body had reacted snapping and attempting to drain the energy from the cannon virus if any was left.

Empress had put her weapon away while Keera her self had started to intercept the incoming data after the battle. Smiling satisfied from their haul, they had a brief but silent moment as Keera had glanced towards Empress on the vidscreen exchanging glances.
Silence...nothing but a pure stare with hundreds of thoughts racing. After exchanging the look for a while, they both had smirked as Keera had sat back in her chair with a sigh while Empress and brushed away at her dress while refreshing her graphics to repair the tare on the right side.
"Let's get going..." Keera said with the relaxed expression on her face while Empress simply responded with the usual as she stepped further into the SciLab corridors.
"Affirmative..."
