It was not a beast that went charging into the final HeelNavi; no, a beast could not have the powers of thought and reasoning. Therefore, it was not a beast. It was a machine, geared for war, taking every facet of the situation into account in order to best formulate its plan of attack.
It was a thinker that ran toward the last HeelNavi. Instead of charging straight forward, though, he leapt from side to side in order to avoid the offspring of the deadly-looking gatling gun mounted on the HeelNavi's arm. He leapt up and crashed down upon the HeelNavi, the laser-clawed arm of panel pieces slashing furiously down. So many attacks coming in from so many angles; his assistance would not be required.
"Raiden, what are you doing?! Take him down!"
"My comerades seem to be doing that quite effectively," he called back with just a touch of sarcasm, jumping backward a couple of steps to put some distance between him and the HeelNavi.

"That seems like a good idea." Capuchin cheeped as she saw what XIII did, "And as they say, Monkey see Monkey do!"
She then charged up her buster and blasted a fire at the heelnavi's head.

The HeelNavi, sensing his demise, fires two more volleys of bullets into the fray!
Capuchin and XIII's charge shots fly through the crossfire, and stop the dark Navi's assault!
Undetered, Shuilong charges in, and bravely slashes at the Navi, then dodges away in time for Bard to stike with a sword strike of her own, cutting the Heel in half at the waist!
Raiden, not having a target, just sort of stands there.
The HeelNavi, well, his upper half anyway, looks at his assailants, and manages to choke out, "Well, I may have been a pawn, but my sacrifice was worth it... With all of you fools gone, the boss has no one to stop him... heh heh... No Sunshine for you losers..." And with that, he was gone.

XIII looked at the disappearing navi, mulling over those final words.

"Gone... but the only place we left was... THE NETSQUARE!" Shuilong blurted out.
"Guys! We've got to hurry back to the Netsquare and see what's going on, this was obviously a diversion." The dragon navi commanded everyone. Then he hurried to the portal.

Bard collected her zenny and said, "A good haul! We shall buy lots!" The crow cawed and flew from her shulder, leading her bac to the net square where everyone else was going.

"Excellent. The enemy has been neutralized. But where are the stolen goods?" Raiden seemed puzzled, as if he were going over possible answers in his mind. Finally he turned. "Everyone, what is your input on--"
And then he realized that Bard, Shuilong, XIII and Capuchin were taking off toward the portal that led back into the Netsquare.
"Input detected," he muttered with a nod as he kicked it up from a standstill to a run, heading for the pillar of light that was thrown skyward by the portal on the ground. As he approached, he exploded into a flurry of lightning, which was slurped into the portal and spit out the other side.
And then he realized that Bard, Shuilong, XIII and Capuchin were taking off toward the portal that led back into the Netsquare.
