Slacking Off with Flowers!

There was a dual exchange as Rafflesiana and Ladderman both struck one another with their respective attacks. The pollen barrier actually managed with withstand his initial blow while the two RaffleSi-Arrows hit Ladderman quite cleanly. He tried to endure and continued to jab and swing his unwieldly weapon, but Rafflesiana weaved a path closer into her target and basked in the regenerative factor of the grass terrain. However, all was not well as her endurance gave out before his and another swipe took care of the barrier altogether.

That was when a wicked smile crossed his face.

"LADDER!" came his battlecry.

It finally crossed her mind that what he had been doing was far too weak to be considered a genuine offensive. They were feints, forcing her to wear herself down in avoiding them and weaken her defences. She had been herded into this specific position by his seemingly random flailing. Rafflesiana's revelation came all too late as the final blow was a real attack that literally knocked her off her feet and sent her spiralling through the air before making a rough crash landing off of her precious healing terrain. Now a long expanse of land separated the two, throwing a wrench into her plans.

~"Oh no, Not again!"~[/center]

"Rafflesiana!"

The NetNavi was sent spiraling through the hair. The impact was painful; a shock through her system that made her cringe as she flew. Her eyes was closed and upon her body dropping altitude, she had made a crashing with a slight slide of her body as she was left stunned by the blow for a moment or two. As she moaned and groaned rolling her body over and attempting to recover, the young boy that was Xenneth had looked to the screen as he had tossed his head forward desperately in a cry.

"Don't give up!"

That's what he said, and Rafflesiana could only laugh that usual cocky way as she heard him. It made her feel like that he had forgotten that they were so determined to win a moment ago and sure of themselves. Rafflesiana still had the feeling that they were going to win, and with that, she had pushed up and quickl whipped around as she rushed forward and onward towards the enemy with her right hand reaching out.

"I never said anything about giving up," she had whimpered as if she was complaining to her always panicky NetOp, "Let's go, XenXen!"

Crying out, Rafflesiana had rushed forward. Her hands that were stretched out had moved about as if they were calling the wind. The remnants of gale had responded with a breeze that had scattered the pollen from her body and around the NetNavi in a spherical veil that had cloaked her from beyond injury once more as she advanced forth with an intention to strike head on. She was determined, and with the young violet haired boy completely forgetting about duties, worry, and himself getting in trouble, she had all the right in the world to be feeling cocky.

Rafflesiana had one trick up her sleeve, and in that, it was one well hidden from the NetNavi that might have served well too. Her right hand lifting while a sneaky smile was across her face, she had laid a peck of her lips across her palm as she had given it a smooch. The petals along her very right wrist had began to glow in a strange fashion as they responded from the presence of the NetNavi's lips. At that moment, her speed and momentum from rushing had been to her advantage as she went into a set of acrobatic stretches and moves that made her dance across the field in an elegant way while note once losing her speed. It was like watching an ice skater, and it was because of this elegant movement, she had all the chances to try to evade with her unused attack and unpredictable attack as she closed in and aimed to strike with the cleansing blow of the elegant attack

"Paradise's Kiss...!" she had called out as she out stretched her hand in order to swipe at the ladder toting NetNavi in order to drain his energy, but she would not stop there as she had intended to keep him close after closing in, and with her right hand pulling back, she had elegantly stretched it out before beginning to bring it in with a swipe.

"Now, XenXen! Let's go!"

*GLARE!*
~"We'll go together!"~

He had been quick to respond, eyes bolting just as quickly as his hands as he tossed the very last battle chip between his fingers and pressed it into the slot of his P.E.T. His eyes had went up, accordingly as he mashed it in and focused on the screen focusing with all his might. This was intense, the drawing moment of the batlte, and it all came down to how well the two was in sync and how determined they were. They both seemed pretty worked up, and if she could strike him, then perhaps this would be the cleansing blow?

He cried with the confirmation of the download, "BambooKnife! Battlechip in, download!"

It was a sudden rush of data, and Rafflesiana could almost feel that the hilt of the BambooKnife was in her palm. All the Flower Girl Navi had to do was close it, and swipe her right arm without mercy the moment it completely materialized. She had done so, and with a loud cry of her voice that showed she was tired of this agony, tired of fighting some overgrown fat NetNavi that was a "rat" who like to fight with little cute girls like her, but this feeling she had towards Xenneth was something she was going to treasure more than the ladder toting NetNavi's supposedly hidden loot that he raved on about.

"Rafflesiana!" Xenneth had yelled out watching her vicious strike, but she narrowed her eyes as her strike had barred down and with a turn of her Bamboo Knife it was less lethal and more disabling to injure the NetNavi and not dice him into two sections of his body.

"I know," she had said, "We're not going to hurt, but make it so he can't fight anymore."

They understood each other.</span>

Passive Action - Pollen Veil - Generate Barrier (10 HP)

Action 1 — Rush in! (Close Distance - One Action)

Action 2 — Paradise's Kiss! - 20 Wood Drain (+ Movement) @ Ladderman

Action 3 — Bamboo Knife - 65 Wood Slash @ Ladderman
Rafflesiana charged back in only to find Ladderman making long strides up to her as well. When they were within decent range, Ladderman set down his ladder and prepared to dash up the steps. Rafflesiana wasn't willing to let him off so easily and circled around her target and clasped his foot, draining away some of his health as her own. She tried to finish him off with a slash from her blade but he shook her off with a brutish kick and clambered up the steps with ridiculous speed.

Still winded from the earlier attack, she didn't think she could evade the inevitable downpour of items. Still, luck favoured her predicament and a large jar of molasses and a heavy bust both barely missed her. It wouldn't last as a vase landed perfectly and cracked on top of her barrier before shattering. Her pollen scattered leaving her vulnerable to the shower of razor shards from the heavy container. Her health plummeted to a near critical state and her uniform was almost instantly shredded to pieces.

Ladderman landed at the base of his ladder, short of breath. He also looked to be at his limit.

"Treasure... Mine..." He huffed.

~"Let's go! Let's go together"

Xenneth had watched as the battle unfold. His self gasping deeply, he could feel his lungs rise in his chest as if they were going to explode. At any moment, he felt as if he was going faint from watching the intense battle. He knew it was out of his hands now, and he done all that he could. It was only up to Rafflesiana who had been brought down to one knee and breathing heavily. She had stared towards the tired Ladderman, as she panted, unmoving as the moment was tense once again since the field was about even.

The wind at Rafflesiana's ankles had swept the traces of Pollen from the ground and circulated around her body in a spherical formation once more. Her body picked up upon feeling that gentle wind and her eyes had peered towards Ladderman as she seemed to ready herself for a strike.

"Rafflesiana..."

Xenneth had uttered lowly as he watched the NetNavi who had readied her strike. Weakened, and glaring towards the NetNavi, she had glared towards the enemy. He seemed tired, maybe enough that he could start listening, but she was not going to take her chances of being struck down during some explanation, and truth be told, she was still ready to strike him after making her mad. She had quickly lifted her right hand as she pulled back and dove forward with a sword strike.

She had moved quickly, her left arm raising after attempting to strike with her right only to reveal her palm reversing how she held the knife in her right hand while arrows were loaded with the digits of her fingers. She had pulled back aiming for Ladderman in case that he was to dodge and let go to fire off. She was tired, and because of it, she was so weak she swore she could not keep up the attack. It made her exhausted and nearly step off of her aggressive attack.

"Rafflesiana...! Be careful!"

Rafflesiana had stood fast however, and held her ground upon hearing Xenneth's young voice. Ready and eye glaring towards Ladderman, she had prepared to dodge by tossing her weak body if it had come to it seeing that she expected more random lunacy from her enemy.

Action 1 — Bamboo Knife - 65 Wood Slash @ Ladderman

Action 2 — Rafflesi-Arrow - 20 Wood Damage [2x Shots] @ Ladderman

Action 3 — Dodge [Sidestep Quickly!]
Rafflesiana's knife attack was easily parried with the ladder and quickly countered with a hit that blew away her light barrier. She stumbled back and watched as he pierced a patch of soil and escaped underground yet again. With no viable target, she waited helplessly for him to surface. At the very least, she was slowly regaining her strength by the second. She watched the two large holes, wary of the rattons that had popped up before. She was ready to run or dodge or whatever it took to outlast him but what happened next was beyond all expectation. At first there was a heavy rumbling that shook the entire area, much greater than anything she had experienced before. The mice weren't coming. Instead, twin jets of water shot out of the broken panels and sent an enormous tidal wave of water crashing towards her.

"Waaaaaaaaaaaave!" Ladderman cried out, being suspended atop one of the geysers.

She braced herself as she was washed away by the attack like a piece of driftwood in a storm. Her Undershirt program kept her from having to perform an emergency jack-out leaving her with a sliver of health. She gasped for air as the water level subsided, leaving clumps of soggy grass and soil around her. Ladderman approached her with his weapon held high. She was weak enough to be defeated by a strong enough breeze let alone another serious attack. Mustering up all available strength, she raised her gauntlet and unloaded two bolts into his chest.

"Urk-" He coughed, "...Treasure?"

His own emergency jack out procedure activated, forcing him off the network. Rafflesiana had finally won. In Ladderman's wake, there remained a substantial cache of zenny. Was this the treasure he was guarding so fiercely? Maybe. For now, it didn't matter. Her ordeal was over and she could take her time with the rest of the details later.

~"A little tired; I can depend on you, right?"

"That was one tough battle..."

Xenenth had said with a frown upon taking out a MiniEnergy pack and quickly slotting it in as Rafflesiana had picked herself up and rinsed off her clothing that was soaking wet. She had let her sights go to young Xenneth as she had a smile upon her face once more.

"But we won, and it was together too, right? You're really growing Xenny!" Rafflesiana had complimented, "You know, I think we should go a little further...we're like, getting better because of you, and your mom will be home by the time we finish looking around ACDC Net. What do you say?"

Xenneth was conflicted, but he wanted to comply. He had been offered the chance to jack out before seeing Rafflesiana was out of battle and he could snatch the cord, but he didn't. He could not help but to feel that part of him wanted to go on. Smiling warmly, he had let his eyes fall on the path branching one part of ACDC net to another, and with a smile, he had tossed his head with an enthusiastic nod and a smile to follow.

""Yeah...Let's go! he had replied happily.

After applying the MiniEnergyPack, Rafflesiana and her operator continued onto their next challenge with a greal deal of optimism. That soon changed when they ran into the largest gathering of fire viruses that ACDC Net had to offer. Clearly, they had wandered too far for their own good.

~"Screw the odds; I have Flower Power!"

"This doesn't look good..."

Rafflesiana's voice had sounded off and ending with a hiss as she stared towards the fleet of enemies. Xenenth had been familiar with most of them so far, and observing the new additions, he could clearly make an observation based on that experience as well as Rafflesiana's usual frown which was now present. This only meant that the enemies were of Rafflesiana's disadvantage, and only meaning she would have trouble against the viruses.

"All fire types...right?"

Rafflesiana had given a sound nod of hear head hearing her NetOp. There was silence for a moment as the both of them thought on a separate plain. It did not take long for the flower-type NetNavi to whip her body around each and every way, and then quickly sweep her hands center to her chest and conjure up a thick wind to blow a veil of pollen about her body. Now covered for at least one attack, she had looked on to the enemies with a slightly more cocky expression on her face than before.

"W-w-wait a minute!" Xenneth had stuttered in a panic, "I thought you said you were not good against these kind of enemies?!"

Rafflesiana had of course responded with a sound toss of her head as a response. "That's right, I did." she had rebuked, "But that does not mean we can't go for it! Come on XenXen, let's give it our all anyway. If we back down now, then that means we won't be able to go much further because we weren't meant to. I'm sure you can jack me out if we get into trouble, right?"

The young boy had felt a bit nervous about the choice to proceed, but nevertheless, he was still confident. Giving a sound nod of his head once more, he had turned his attention to the viruses who opposed him while reaching his hands into pouch pocket to fetch battlechips. His blue eyes had sharpened as he stared on at the legion of flaming viruses with every intention of fighting back along side his partner. He had come this fair to prove he was braver, and if he were to log out now, he would sit around and do nothing but grieve.

"Sure! Let's go! We should...cut their numbers down, right?"

Upon giving confirmation, Rafflesiana had saw the young boy was catching on. The appropriate number of battlechips they could afford was loaded in advance with selection and Rafflesiana's suggestion as he knew what the weakest virus was, or so he knew since he had been traveling the net thus far. His attention went directly to the stove like viruses as he intended to pick them out quickly. Xenneth's first chip was slipping between the grasp of his fingers as he had slid it towards his P.E.T. and loaded it with push.

"Shotgun! Battlechip in, download!"

Rafflesiana had stayed a distance as her right hand had vanished and thus formed a barrel hidden beneath the large petals that aligned her wrist. There was no way she was drawing close to that horde of viruses. That itself only meant danger. Taking aim and going to where what was in her opinion the easiest to pick off, she had aimed her line of fire towards the stove viruses picking up on the hint: strong fire power for the weakest enemies, and the burst would make their deletion quick and swift if she was careful with her fire. She had let out a burst upon activation of the trigger function and continued on as she intended to execute her next attack.

"XenXen, I'm going in right quick!"

"W-w-what?!"

Xenneth had been shocked. Before he could say anything or oppose, Rafflesiana was once again on the move, but this type going into enemy lines. Her body had quickly shifted and swayed left to right as she carried out her usual dance routine that had given her a swift movement as she danced straight into close range with one of the viruses. Settling herself right before the upped version of the Old Stove, the Flower Girl NetNavi had quickly lifted her right hand as she placed a palm over her lips and given it a smooch. This cued the glow of the petals before she had reached out and attempted to give the Old Stove virus a slap upon the surface and hold it so she would drain away some of its energy. Xenneth was so focused on keeping her safe that he had almost forgotten that she still required energy because of the last battle.

He would have to go to the shop after this battle if it was required.

Watching Rafflesiana, Xenneth had taken witness as the Flower Girl NetNavi had already taken her offensive, but left defense a problem. It would take more than just a lone veil of pollen to hold up against those viruses, and he knew this making him act quickly as he searched through his arsenal that was intended for counter attacks that would actually put a dent in this situation. His fingers sliding upon the Guard battlechip, he was quick to slide the chip in and with a click the data had begun to download from his P.E.T.

"Guard! Battlechip in, download!"

His eyes going to the screen once again as the data was transferred and Rafflesiana receiving it had tilted her head up realizing the data being forward was actually a sign from her NetNavi. He always was paranoid of her safety, and this proved very much of it. Accepting the data and quickly raising her hands before her, Rafflesiana had quickly raised her palms before her and forming a pixel of data that formed a reinforced yellow shield that had the properties and appearance of a Mettuar's helmet. She relied on this as a safety to guard her along with that of veil as she awaited for her time to attack once more.

Rafflesiana's various attacks managed to delete a single virus and sap a bit of health before she incurred the full wrath of the remaining enemy forces. Her defences didn't hold up well against the barrage of fire attacks. One of the Champus managed to take down both her barrier and Guard with its one-two combo. Once those had been removed, fireballs and flamethrowers finished off the navi and she was promptly removed from the system via an EJO. A fraction of her zenny earned during her expedition could not be retrieved along with her and was lost in the process.
