"Ohhhhhhhhh.... Nice!" said Desmond. Tennisman could hear a series of snapping noises that he recognized as his operator's wrist. He sounded excited.
Tennisman raised his arm to execute an Ace Serve to finish off his final opponent when a sound he did not recognized toned in his ear.

"What was that?" Tennisman asked.
"What was what?" Desmond replied, "I didn't hear anything."
Tennisman wanted to deal with the task at hand first and quickly finished his signature Ace Serve with absolute precision. He hoped it would be enough to dispatch the last Heelnavi. The strange voice and question still echoed in his head as the last ball soared to its target.
1 - Ace Serve (3 x 20 dmg) HeelNaviA
2 - I dunno.
3 - Whatever.

Tennisman's gaze met with the last Heelnavi's eyes in its final moments. The brief exchange of glances expressed the raw, genuine emotion that each fighter felt: Tennisman, determined and coldly unsympathetic, and the Heelnavi, regretful and terrified, were both aware the battle was over.
"That wasn't bad." Desmond commented, trying to restrain his satisfaction.
Tennisman wasn't particularly in the mood to celebrate but the rewards from the battle awaited his collection. He walked over and gathered the zenny and was surprised to find some chip data.
"Oh? New chip?" Desmond asked.
"Yes," Tennisman replied, "V-Gun."
"Huh? Like... Like those guys who don't eat meat?" Desmond asked again, "Those Heelnavis didn't eat meat and they dropped chip data for it?"
Tennisman stopped moving, closed his eyes for a moment and sighed.
Desmond continued, "What? It could happen!"
Tennisman relented, "It is a variation of Shotgun chip data."
"Ohhhh... V-GUN." Desmond said.
Tennisman nodded and looked around. There wasn't anything interesting in his vicinity and he wanted to find the source of the strange announcement he heard before.
"Desmond," Tennisman asked, "I believe the PET may require an upgrade or download. Perhaps we should visit the Science Labs."
"You feeling okay?" Desmond asked.
"I feel normal but I wish to investigate that voice I heard." Tennisman said.
"You're hearing voices now?" Desmond asked, "Aight, let's jack out."
No sooner than Desmond had spoken, Tennisman disappeared from the net in a blue and white streak of light.
