Trenn walked down the streets, fiddling seemingly-idly with his PET-- in truth, he was installing the Floatshoes into Soundman. The young programmer walked for a short while, then walked into the chip shop-
In the literal sense, as he smacked his head right into the glass door.
Trenn rubbed his forehead, then opened the door and walked inside.
Once more!

(Later...)
Trenn slammed the door to his house accidentally, and cringed at the sound before heading upstairs. He entered his room much more quietly than he had entered the house, and plopped down on the computer chair with a sigh. "What a day..." He then sat up and turned on his computer.
Two e-mails.
The first was from a Tech BBS that he liked to frequent, about a sort of PET capacity upgrade.
The second...
Wait, PET Capacity upgrade? That could solve my problems perfectly!
Trenn opened the first E-mail hurriedly, read it, then browsed to the Netpolice Mission BBS.
"Time to post..." Trenn said aloud, grinning.

About the time Trenn posted his response on the mission board, a female Navi's sprite walked onto his computer screen, took out a Kunai, and stabbed an icon in his system tray. The screen went blank, and would not display video. Instead, the words 'No Signal' appeared in the center of the now useless monitor. The computer was still running, however....

Trenn looked curiously at the computer for a moment, then glared. "I suppose the mission's come to me, then."
He tapped the now-ominous 'Jack-In' button upon his PET, and Soundman was sent into his somewhat dead computer.

Trenn sat up from the computer and stretched, looking over the voucher that was displayed on the PET's screen. He grinned, and grabbed a few things:
-His PET, for one.
-A small, portable hard drive.
-And Wiz, whom he placed on the hard drive.
Trenn looked around his room, wondering if he had forgotten anything, then, satisfied that he hadn't, he left. Down the stairs, hitting the landing, and then out the door in seconds...
