After his rather uneventful day, apart from the morning's 'activities', Kure returned to his house after hanging out with friends for a bit. Coming up to the front door, he stuck the key in, and turned. Nothing happened. Jiggling it a bit, Kure frowned...
"It better not've locked again. This morning was HELL."
After trying windows and finding everything in lockdown AGAIN, Kure groaned.
"Looks like you're going in again, Zephyr." Kure said, moving towards the keypad with a jack port.
"Jack in and all that nonsense!"
WHUT?

Zephyr appeared suddenly back in his PET. "What in the hell?"
"I know, that was sudden." Kure groaned.
"Fine, whatever, so what now?" Zephyr inquired.
"It looks like we're locked out, man...and there's no way we're breaking in. Oh, well. Maybe I can find someone to hang out with until Mom gets home...?" Kure said weakly, shrugging in dismay.
"Yeah, sure, and I'll try to disarm the security later." Zephyr suggested.
"OK, cool." affirmed Kure, starting to walk towards the public park.
Zephyr sighed inwardly. That was horrible! They all just went ICBM on me, in a range of about 3 seconds! Now I feel all guilty. Damnit! Stop! It's not YOUR fault. We just don't have the cash for any new chips...but, you still could've been more original! Or better...no, not really, I was just stupid... As the battle seemed to go on and on, Zephyr gave up with himself, and peered around from the PET, trying to spot a good place for Kure to find a friend in...

Kure looked around sadly. Everyone seemed to be on their way to do something. "Just fucking great. Now we've got nowhere to go."
"Yeah, well..." Zephyr muttered, feeling even more guilty.
"Maybe we can walk a bit and find a cafe or something." Kure suggested, nodding towards the center of town.
"Yeah, sure, sure." Zephyr replied. Bringing up a GPS on the PET, he used his hands to navigate around various maps. "Huh...oh. Looks like there's a cafe that's open, now, hopefully we can get help there."
"Sure...being new sucks. No friends to hang out with, no one's house to go to." Kure remarked, sounding almost dejected.
"Eh...Sorry, Ku." Zepyhr said apologetically.
"Don't apologize, how is it your fault?" Kure retorted angrily. Starting off at a brisk pace towards the center of town, he shivered. Don't know why I didn't bring a FUCKing jacket... The wind whistled with a purpose, as if to punish Kure.
[LATER]
As Kure arrived near the center of the town, he looked around; no one seemed to pay any attention to him. Heading off towards a small, but lively coffee shop labeled "CosmoElk", one of a large chain throughout the country. Yanking open the door, a chime jangled above his head, and the lady at the cash register looked up.
"You look awfully cold!" she remarked. Kure snapped his head up to her, startled.
"Uh, yeah...a bit..." The lady was pretty old; looked like she ran out of her nest egg and needed some extra funds. Peering up at the menu, he pondered...
I have Z 2,314 left from lunch today. Now, I can buy a small coffee, which basically leaves me with 1,800 Z...and apart from that, I'm damn hungry. Uh...if I get a danish, it's 1,500 Z I have left...but if I get some pound cake, I'll have 1,600 Z. Uh, it's always better to have more, so let's go with the pound cake...
"Would you like anything?" the lady asked.
"Uh, a small coffee with a shot of vanilla, please, and a piece of pound cake." ordered Kyle.
"Sure...if you want, I'll up-size the coffee on me, sweetie." the cashier-ess said, smiling sweetly at Kure.
"Oh, thanks, that'd be great...!" Kure said, surprised. Reaching into his pocket, he forked out a 2,000 note.
"That comes to 421."
"OK." Kure affirmed, getting his change back. Moving to the pick-up counter, he waited about a minute and a half for his snack. Receiving it, and thanking the cashier again, he sat down in one of the big, cushy chairs. Peering around, he looked out of the window, hopeful to notice someone that could help him...
((COSMO ELK = STAR BUCKS XD
Oh, and if anyone will help pore Kure, and bust some virii at his security system, it'd be greatly appreciated...))

(( BAD PUN IS BAD. And sure, I'll help "pore" Kure. XD ))
Just then, the door rang as another customer came in. Quickly following him was Shinko, sneaking in as the door began to close. He walked over to a table beside Kure's and sat down. He perused the menu quickly, before setting it down and twiddling his thumbs while waiting for a waitress.
When she came, Shinko ordered a "Mochafrappalattecinnocoffehnutrulette." The waitress somehow understood his ridiculous order, and left swiftly. Sitting there, and having nothing better to do, Shinko spoke to Kure, "So... hows about that weather?" he said, unable to come up with anything else.
(( Short post for naggyness. D:< ))

Kure looked over to him. "About as trite as that." Grinning, he looked Shinko up and down. "Nice order."
Zephyr looked around nervously. Activating a comm clip Kure carried around on his ear, almost like Bluetooth, he whispered, "Hey, this guy could help..."
"Yeah, I know, just gimme a sec..." Kure replied out of the side of his mouth. "So, ah, I'm actually in a bit of a bad situation here, and I was hoping you could help."

"Oh...?" Shinko said, tilting his head to the side, making his hair sway slightly. "What kind of help...?"
He continued to look at Kure, wondering what he wanted help with. He payed no mind as his order came; just kept waiting for an answer.

"It's kind of silly, really." Kure said slowly.
"Virii. Security system. Two things that are no fun when combined..." Kure remarked sadly.

Shinko muttered, "Ahhh..." aloud before taking a sip from his drink. He set it down quickly, and said, "So, I suppose that you'd like me to help ya get back in?"

((FINALLY D:))
"If it's not too much trouble..." Kure replied, perking up. "My house is over in the suburbs."
((Get on AIM, plees~))

(( Stfu, whiny. D:< ))
Shinko shrugged, and took another sip from his drink. "Why not. I don't get to bust every day, and I get to help somebody out. So... let's head over to your house. I can drive us, to get there quickly."

"Sure!" Kure said enthusiastically.
[time-skip!]
Stepping out of Shinko's car, he nodded towards his house. "Wow...I feel lame...I never even got your name. I'm Kure, by the way, and this is Zephyr."
((NO UR JUST SLO D:<))

"Ah... You're right." Shinko said, hopping out of the driver side of the car. He held his PET towards Kure, and allowed Cyclone to project his image through a hologram.
"I'm Shinko, Shinko Arashi. And this is my navi, Cyclone." Cyclone spoke, the hologram moving, but the voice being produced from the PET.
"Hey!" he shouted, "Nice to meet you. Let's go kick those virus's butts, yeah!"
