Name: Phero.EXE

Gender: Female

Element: Wood

Subtype: Bug

Appearance: Phero was "scientifically engineered" to be as love-inducing as possible, according to Dharma's specifications. Her hair is an eye-catching dark pink color and is kept in a short bobcut, hanging to the nape of her neck. It is combed away from the forehead. Her body has rosy, pink-hued flesh and is designed to be a knockout, which Phero has been ensured is key to the success of finding love. Her face is usually set in a semi-vacant frown. Her eyes are a dull black color, but still shine in an endearing way. Her smile can be quite pleasant if its genuine.

Her armor is primarily white and extremely immodest. Her gloves and boots each consist of white metal tulip shapes with pink, skin-tight latex-like material underneath (the hands and backs of the legs as well as the top of the feet are unarmored). The dress she wears consists of a white metal skirt with a high top. The top is covered by an extra extending metal tulip that shows off her breasts more than it ought to, especially from above, offering little support (although a pink latex one-piece suit covers beneath it, but that too is pretty revealing). A white brace lines her head across the back between her white earpieces. Pink glass can be temporarily summoned to encompass her head from the headpiece, which will shield her from breathing in her own pheromones, if they happen to be dangerous when she releases them. Her emblem is a white heart surrounded by a pink cloud, seen both on her skirt's waist and her ear-guards.

Each of her hands have a black squeeze ball mounted around the palm by a strap, but not obstructively. Squeezing the ball releases a loaded blast of pheromones from her body into the air; the smell and effect will vary depending on which compound Dharma has loaded. The pheromones surrounding her are highly flammable, which can occasionally prove dangerous for her.

Personality: Dharma created Phero with only one purpose: testing experimental pheromone compounds to find the perfect formula for love. Unfortunately, she had little idea what should go into that.

Phero lacks common sense, much like her maker. She is generally displeased about her lot in life. She doesn't know what love is any more than her operator does, but she sees it as something painful and unpleasant, thanks to the odd sensations that releasing pheromones often bring to her. She is confident that love will ultimately be her undoing, especially since her operator treats her as a temporary fixation, only to be used until the ultimate compound is discovered.

Phero enjoys the company of other navis and likes people to treat her as a navi rather than as a scientific tool. She is nice to other navis, although if anyone learns her real purpose, her ordinarily charming behavior can be often misconstrued as trying to seduce them. She enjoys stereotypically pretty things, but she's generally very open-minded. The long term usage of untested pheromones has affected her judgment of sexuality so much to the point that she can view even non-human things as attractive, such as viruses.

Despite her rebellious nature towards her operator, Phero understands that she is expendable. She has set in her mind to ultimately do whatever Dharma asks her to, though she'd love to experience real freedom some day. She is surprisingly sensitive and gets embarrassed easily, which is hard to imagine with how her armor makes her look.

Custom Weapon: Phero squeezes her perfume spritzers and releases a highly concentrated, acidic stock compound of pheromone clouds. They burn and sting whichever target she aims the release towards.

Signature Attacks (100/100): Compound A0001 - A mysterious pink gas cloud is released from the pores of Phero's body. The pheromone is unreliable for the purpose of invoking attraction, but does mess with a being's mentality, causing what seems like temporary insanity. The gas cloud is low lying and won't affect airbound targets. [Confusion, Ground Type Attack, 15 self damage, 2 TCD] (60)

Compound A0016 - A viscous liquid compound that interacts in a bizarre way with other creatures and objects on the net. The compound identifies the scent of the one sprayed, then forms a transparent gaseous cloud around the target. The affected is shielded from damage as the cloud fluctuates from gas to nearly solid goop, splatting harmlessly to the ground once its job of absorption is done. Dharma also uses this as a nice way to test other, mixed in compounds, which are, of course, highly unstable. [20 HP barrier + glitch, 1 TCD] (40)

Phero's ordinary armor, gloves, and boots are swapped out for a simple bikini, white and just scarce enough to be considered flirtatious. The top is secured by fashionable straps running from the center of the chest around the neck and tying at the nape. The bottom is secured by two side-ties. Each of the ties is garnished by light-pink colored, cutesie ribbons. Her hair is pulled away from her forehead as usual, but the back hanging segment is also pulled into a very small tail, which bobs at the back of her head. A white flower is pinned in her hair at the right side, just above the bangs. Because of the clashing aesthetic, her head-gear is not kept, but the visor/gas-mask can still be summoned for safety reasons. Her ordinary perfume plungers are swapped out for two pink bottles of spray-on, scented Heart-Payne brand sunblock: smart, environmentally friendly, and full of glitches!
Name: Boil.SP

Gender: Female

Element: Aqua

Subtype: Wind (Slipstream/Turbulence)

Appearance: Despite having the appearance of a woman nearly thirty, Boil stands just a little shorter than Phero, who is not especially tall to begin with. Like Phero, she has a pretty rosy complexion... thankfully, not as much as her former operator's. Rather, her nose seems persistently red as though she has a case of the sniffles. Her body shape is what could be called curvy, with a generous bossom and wide hips, though she's squat on the whole, so her waist has a fair bit of weight on it as well. Her legs seem especially stubby; like many things, this is a sore point for her. Overall, she likes the way she looks and becomes aggravated when others don't.

Her eyes are bright blue and usually a little squinty; she wears glasses that hide them most of the time. Her lips are very full, usually glossed, but her expression is usually pretty droll and sour. Boil's hair is white, usually in a bob around her head secured by a hairband, but ironically given her element, it becomes extremely frizzy when its wet. Her usual gear includes armor in a sterile silver color, a lot like Phero's own, but also including a silver pair of earmuffs connected by a black hairband. Like with Phero's own equipment, it comes with eye protection, though of a different sort: glasses with extremely thick, black rims around similarly thick glass in circular frames. The glasses tend to fog up extremely frequently, as when she becomes mad, she literally emits steam from her pores, much like Phero can secrete liquid or invisible airborne pheromones from her own. Small holes on the palms of her gloves and boots allow her to expel concentrated bursts of steam out for attacks, if need be. The headphones have holes similar to the gloves and boots, presumably something to do with allowing in sound, but steam can shoot out from there humorously as well.

The armor covering her body is pretty standard, apart from cuffs around the wrists, at the neck, and around the tops of the boots. Her armor has a spout on the back near the shoulder blades, pointed backwards, from which she can expel steam to propel herself forward. It also has a tie, built into the cuff near the neck, because wearing armor is no excuse not to look official. The tie hangs down to the bottom of her armor's bust, slightly short, and flaps around a lot while her steam is blowing. The boots have flat heels, since she's made for lab-work, and most of her body is typically covered. The dress includes an armored skirt, like Phero's, but she wears a black skinsuit as well that looks like tights between the thighs and boots. Below the armor, the suit is pretty snug and fully black. She tends to sweat a lot as well and hates for that to be pointed out as well.

Personality: Boil has a very strict, somewhat scholarly attitude, which was often needed to keep Agnis in line and now serves to do the same for Phero (hopefully). She's typically all business, but she has a lot of vices as well: she fluctuates between sycophantic, eager to serve Dharma well and improve her own standing, and haughty, feeling that she deserves higher status due to her seniority and her effort. She shares more of Dharma's passion for science but less of her cruelty, and thus, she doesn't have the stomach for some of the less morally sound stuff Dharma gets up to, which means her ambition is often at odds with her moral compass. She is nothing if not a hard worker, and yet, her sense of self-worth is still inflated far past what makes sense. Phero's naivety is a source of aggravation for Boil and she seeks to teach her about the world where she can, but she remains excited about the opportunities Phero's development represents.

Background: Boil was originally the navi of Agnis Agnu, Dharma's self-appointed right-hand researcher. Heavily involved in Phero's development, she still never imagined she would end up serving as the navi's SP, a position which now provides her with countless mixed feelings. Dharma elected to take Boil from Agnis and assign her as Phero's SP for two reasons: first, for leverage over Agnis, who learned a terrible secret about her employer, and second, to help reign in Phero's free spirit... hopefully. Boil was always built for science and research, not combat, so she didn't lose much in the transition from navi to SP, besides a bit of her dignity. Now under Dharma's thumb, she finds herself in a situation to be more sympathetic towards Phero's daily plight, but also, wanting to ensure Phero serves her purpose of finishing the development of Heart-Payne pharmaceuticals new wonder drug.

Custom Weapon: Boil's natural weapon is the expulsion of steam from the openings in her gloves. The bursts can be weaponized into scalding, heated blasts... for a certain extent of weaponized, anyway.
