Name: Dr Maximilion Gorgon

Appearance: Dr Gorgon typically dons a long black labcoat over an untucked irish green polo shirt and wrinkled beige slacks, all atop a pair of thick-soled black work boots. Greasy blonde hair hangs wild and unkempt from his head, barely held aloft by a pair of black rubber goggles with emerald lenses, raised to his forehead. The deep pockets of his coat tend to rattle or clang with any number of oddities contained therein. He is a rather imposing Electopian, at 6'3" tall and 220lbs, but it is his eyes that unnerve the most. They are beady with deep green irises that throw wild looks of ambition, genius and at times madness.
Background: Maximilion used to work for SciLab, untill his research grew well beyond his duties and the tolerence for the law. He was given the boot after it was discovered that he was using SciLab equipment in his experiments to forcivly mutate navis using bugfrags and what was rumored to be trace data from a legendary cybeast. He hoped that by increasing a PET's memory capacity and adding a few 'improvements' of his own design that the data would mix as if in a beaker and form a new being. He only ever got to modify his own navi however, and sent him into the net to claim later when it became clear he was going to be found and destroyed by law enforcement. Lacking hard evidence, the net police had to let him go but SciLab fired him just the same. In his lab at home he was eventually able to trace his navi's data and reclaim him, but the savage beast it had all settled into had to be called something new. He named it Manticore.
Personality: Dr Gorgon is quite mad. Both being filled with bitterness and hate for the SciLab that ruined him and the net police that, he assumes, want to confiscate Manticore and lock him away. He was always a clever boy but never knew when to stop or what 'too far' meant. He always figured if something could theoretically exist that may better society as a whole then why shouldn't it? Sure, some people may be hurt, some navis may be horribly altered or deleted but you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs right? From time to time he calms down enough to realise that he needs to find work to keep his experiments going and if he is caught funding Manticore directly he can be taken down as well. No, from now on he would be too carefull for that, he would invent a persona to controll the monster he had made and let it fund it'self. After all, that would make for much better research.
PET Modifications: Dr Gorgons' PET is a highly customized mess of extra data modules, power capacitors, duct tape and who knows what else. Somewhere under all that whatever is left of the origional casing is irish green.
