On the note of the global threat NP thingy, why don't we have the allies of the NP/mafia get emails once in a while to assist in missions. there could be some 'random' pair ups. the mission I had with robo was very successful, and I would like to see a continuation of that type of activity.

You guys do know that there is absolutely nothing stopping you from using your Ops more often, right? You can call up friends, go to the movies, hang out at the mall, whatever. I mean, the only thing preventing you people from using your Ops is...You not using your Ops.

Well, technically.... yes.

but, on the same note, some team ups wouldn't happen very well IC. Like if I wanted to get a DNR cross, there isn't an easy reason for us to "naturally" hook up. On the same note Damian isn't really going to pop up in a movie theater at the same time and hit it off that well. The point of this is to have one section that acts like a "dating service" or a place to hook up. it would just be a starting point or a contained area to set up IC plans to go fighting or other areas.

I would love to see some character build up, where do they hang out, what do they like to eat, the music they like, heck, do any of them play real world sports like basketball (didn't Lan love soccer or something?) the point is it's just a area to meet up. the new retro diner "Met Donalds" that opened up in electown that's decked out in retro 90's style complete with a small dance floor and little boomboxes you can jack into at different tables. their mascot is a metool with a burger instead of a helmet...

...I've gone way off topic. Anyways, it's just a place to get started IC, that's all. it's not going to be ALL of it.

Well, let's see...We already have a school, a park, several casinos, a beach, a hospital, a zoo, an inn, a hot spring and even a television station. Beyond that, there is no rule stopping you from making a post saying that you are in a cafe or a restaurant or anywhere you want within reason. For example, Damian could stop by the book store at Dentech University, or whatever, and just happen to run into Polonius(Who supposedly spends a lot of time at the school).

There isn't really a need for a "Come Here to Meet Other NetOps" area. Just, use your imagination or something. Make a thread entitled "Met Donald's" or whatever and put "Anybody is welcome to RP" in the thread description of something. Once again, nothing is stopping anyone from RPing their NetOps. You just have to have the desire and the imagination to do it. Sure, you may need to send out a note OOC that you are looking for a NetOp team up, but whatever.

I can see your point, and I back down. I'd still like to hear some other opinions too though. As you've said, anyone could do it, but they just haven't. and I realize too the yoka hot springs already serve this purpose.

there is the problem too that part of making the real world more active is having missions in the real world, like taking a package from scilab to the chipshop, or "mr. mittens" got himself stuck in a tree, and you have to quickly clime up to get him.
