It made me so sad that she died... And Sirius. HOW COULD SIRIUS DIE? I know it was in Book 5, but still... BEST CHARACTER EVAR.

Meh. Don't care much about Dobby, but I wanted Harry to die. The ending sucked because Harry did not die.

Actually, the official explination is this:
BOTH souls got hit. However, Harry was given the option of chooseing to move on or not because of the fact that he sacrificed himself willingly and the protection aforded by the double link with Voldermort via the horocrux and his mother's protection. Harry did die, but he was simply given the option to move on or stay. Dumbledor was only alowed to wait long enough to talk to Harry before moving on.
