Virus
Name: The Gate of Death
HP: 80 / 120 / 160
Attack: 20 / 20 / 20
Actions: 1 / 2 / 3
Appearance: Also known as 'Shimon', this strange virus actually comes in two forms: Hero and Demon. Demon: A red-boned skeleton (quite possibly from being so drenched in blood), bearing a headband but otherwise naked. It wields a pitch-black flail, bearing a smaller end than usual with extended spikes. Hero: This version takes the appearance of a youthful human, pale and with flowing black locks, dressed in a brown tunic studded with bits of gold, hide boots with white fur trim, brown wristbands, and a long silver headband that flows in the wind. He wields what appears to be a plain leather whip with a ball-tip.
Abilities/Attacks
Weapon Attack: A simple lash with their respective weapon. Deals an additional 10 Damage to targets lacking an element.
Allegiances: Shimon Demons and Heroes are constantly at ends with each other, and will often work together with similarly aligned forces. For instance, a Shimon Demon prefers the company of other virii or fellow Demons, and will sometimes side with navis, but only the most fierce and tainted, while a Hero is usually seen alone or with other Heroes, and will often ally himself with a navi to join in deleting the virus scourge.
Hero Slayer / Demon Slayer: A Shimon's most powerful technique, used to eliminate those that oppose their alignment. A Shimon Demon's flail becomes soaked in blood, whereas a Hero's whip turns a soothing white and becomes engulfed in flames. This technique doubles the damage they deal, but drains them by half of their HP.
Chip
Name: Hero Slayer / Demon Slayer
Description: Using the Flail or Whip from a fallen Shimon, the navi may attack enemies repeatedly, until the weapon snaps or otherwise breaks. Further, the user may channel their own lifeforce into the weapon to bring out its true nature, damaging themselves to increase its power.
Summary: A Rank. Deals 40 / 60 / 80 damage, and is treated as a slashing weapon for its duration, but does not have its accuracy reduced. Lasts 10 uses. Further, the navi may spend 15HP in order to increase the weapon's power by 20 / 30 / 40 (this increase is doubled against non-elemental targets), but causes each use of the weapon to count as 2 uses.
