Relatively tall for a female navi, if I had to ballpark it she'd be around 6'1". Athletic build, green hair in a tomboy-ish cut, gold eye color. 8-ball's face seems to resemble Kasumi's "Aunt" Terra, though when she was a bit younger. Her uniform resembles XIII's style, except the jacket is green and the pants are forest camouflage pattern. Also has a green helmet with visor that she wears when in combat. Like XIII, 8-ball also has a marking, though in her case its a tattoo of an 8-ball on her right hand. Her weapon is a rifle very similar to the M1-Garand, though with a slightly more futureistic color and pattern, and a cord comes out of the stock to attack into her helmet, turning the helmet visor into both a HUD and an electronic sniper scope.
Personality: Energetic (with workaholic undertones) and talkative, the kind of person who tends to take responsibility for others upon herself; a sort of energetic "older sister" personality, which greatly compliments XIII's usually relaxed and reckless nature. However, when the heat of combat sets in and 8-ball is focusing on the fight, she becomes a much more serious and intense person altogether.

"Thank you so much!" Kasumi called back to him as she jogged towards the doorway. The sounds of running water and scrubbing (as well as a bit of XIII's grunts thrown in) were emanating from her PET, but it didn't matter right now. It had been a long day, and she could certainly wait to update on the BBS until she got home.

Kasumi felt like she had been at that terminal forever, and the longer this mission went on, the worse things turned up until the very end. It was like she couldn't hit the Jack-out button fast enough.

The Package.DAT arrived back in her PET along with the Navi XIII, and she immediately started trying to upload it to a blank chip so she could hand it over to the client. "I do not want this thing on my PET for any longer than it needs to be, so please, take it..." The blank chip popped out after having received the data, and she passed it along to the doctor. "XIII, run a cleaning program in the PET."
"But, Remi, the virus was just a contained core. It wouldn't have infected anything."
His operator shook her head at the screen. "No, I mean you. I don't want you tracking any of that goop into the PET. I want it to be scoured in there, got it."

XIII immediately broke his cool pose, threw his hands up in the air, and shouted "Woooooooo!"

Kasumi wiped her brow too. It was finally over. "Wow, we did it, finally. And thank you very much Enigma and Ceres. We really couldn't have done it without you."

The navi ran up and grabbed the captured data, and without a moment's hesitation, Kasumi hit the jack out button. Normally the transmission of data between the PET and the net is nearly instantaneous when a navi is jacking in and jacking out, but in all honesty XIII couldn't leave that place fast enough. He had been knee deep in and almost killed by disgusting muck, and if he ever saw slime again it would be too soon.

The emergency shut down to the berserker program activated, and XIII found himself staring down the destroyed remains surrounding the core, feeling exhausted and injured.
"XIII!" Kasumi yelled into the microphone. "We can't give it a chance to escape or reform itself!" The jammed the Netsword module into the open slot on her PET.

The Netsword formed up in his hands, and the navi mustered up the remaining ounces of his strength to surge forward, blurring in the air as he went.
"'To the last, I grapple with thee; From Hell's heart, I stab at thee; For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee'!" He yelled at the core, and thrust the tip of the Netsword through the core with surgical accuracy. XIII landed behind the core after the jumping lunge, striking an awesome and dramatic pose.

His operator blinked a couple of times. "That thing you said XIII, that was Herman Melville wasn't it?"
XIII relaxed and slumped down to the floor. "Yeah, Moby Dick. I thought it seemed rather appropriate, considering the circumstances."

Enigma's words seemed to be lost on XIII at this point. Its wasn't that he was incapable of hearing the other navi, its was more the fact that XIII was completely unfazed by anything other than his target. Kasumi was eyeing the gauge on the side of her screen with increasing worry.
"Crap...." She muttered to herself. "The risk of corruption is rising faster than I expected. In a few moments, the fail safe I programmed in will activate; probably about enough time for one more good attack."

She reached into her battle-chip pack, but much to her chagrin, there were really no more chips for her to use. Basically just a counter, a rock cube, and a rage claw. The rage claw was too dangerous, since it could risk bringing the already damaged XIII deeper into harm's way, so she might as well prepare the other two. "XIII, hit him with a charged shot! Make it count!"

XIII just nodded, his bloodthirsty gaze never leaving his target as he slid the two energy blades back into each other. Once again, they appeared to be as a single sword residing in its sheath, the navi holding it at his side as his right arm hovered over the handle. It wasn't very visable normally, but due to the focused boost from the mode he was in, the charging energy managed to encase the entire sword in a sort of weird aura of fluctuating light.

It happened in what seemed like an instant, not even long enough to blink completely. XIII drew the first sword from its "sheath" to land a lightning fast slash across the enemy, and immediately after the second blade (the "sheath") flew across the same path, the energy blade extended out from it.

"Counter1, Slot in!" His operator cried, sliding the chip into the side slots. This was more a precautionary measure, since due to a combination of the nature of that attack and the jarring from the berserker mode wearing off, XIII would have been wide open to attack otherwise.

XIII clutched his side. He was hurting bad, and whatever wasn't hurting was going rather numb. There was even a little blood trickling down his side, and the navi couldn't help but look at it and once again find it kind of odd that his programmer input this realistic looking bump-mapping for damage. "Remi, I think the time to play this safe is gone. Enigma is starting to pull out the stops... I'm going to use one of the crosses..."

His operator nodded and selected the function on the screen, transmitting the data into the net. The navi was standing to receive it, letting go of his side. the space around him started distorting, and the energy surging through him was partially reviving him somewhat, regardless of his immense damage. "Mach 13, Another type!" he yelled, the last bit of the transformation taking hold when the wil'o'whisp flames popped up around him. "Thanks Remi. This might not be enough, but I'm going to give it my all!"

"Wait, XIII... not yet..." His operator stopped his movement forward immediately. It wasn't necessarily that she told him to stop that made him halt so quickly, but rather her voice betrayed a hesitation to mention something to him.
"what... what is it Remi?"
His operator was silent for a second. "Umm, there's something else we can do... I finished putting in a special program last night, it could help you guys win, but...."
"But what?" the navi was a little bit confused. Usually when Kasumi had an ace up he sleeve, she'd use it when ever the chance seemed good. Rarely did she ever hold back on a job, especially like this.

"well XIII" Kasumi responded, "Its a program that can up your defense and attack concentration... but the code is far too over powered for your standard function; it causes a potentially dangerous shock to your system."
XIII was still not entirely clear on it. "What's that supposed to mean? Why don't we just use it?"
"It means that by using it, you might go crazy for a little while, and with each subsequent use without defraging your data afterward, you risk corrupting a portion of your data."

there was silence on the communication line for a moment. Then XIII said, "Kasumi, just use it." He used her real name instead of her usual nickname. "I trust your programming skill."
"A-alright XIII. I'm also giving you a Cannon chip." She slid the chip inside the slot and XIII's arm changed to the projectile's barrel. Her finger hesitated over the sig-command icon though. "XIII... be careful..."
"Don't worry, Remi..."

Her finger hit the button, and a sudden jolt went through XIII's body. The navi crest located on his chest started emitting a high pitched noise and this cold blue luminescence that seemed to flood the area with its icy light. XIII's eyes were vacant to the point of looking emotionless, and his gaze was locked directly on the main body of the enemy. All that his mind was processing was the most direct, undeterred course of action for utterly destroying the pile of snotty data infront. Even the pain and hesitation that had been coursing through his body was gone now; not numbed or reduced, just plain missing, like he was unable to process data in that fashion.
"XIII?" Kasumi tried to get his attention. "XIII, are you... ok?"
"... delete...."

He lifted his cannon arm, and the power started charging through it as the special mode focused the power beyond its usual limits.
".... DELETE!....."
The navi yelled a blood-curdling cry into the air as he let loos the powered cannon shot at the giant monster. XIII charged forward, drawing the double energy blades at his side the moment his hands reverted back to normal. Even without the command from his operator, he started performing his upgraded sig attack, the Legendary Cross. The double power strikes wipped across his target, the cold efficiency of his movements guiding the blades with a surgeon's precision and an assassin's mercilessness.

The red-haired navi was struggling free himself from the snotty restraints on his body. His body was aching all over, like he had just been on the business end of a cannonball. And here he was now, being pulled down by a tentacle made of unspeakable substance. In a situation where he normally would have been ultimately grossed out by the entire nature of his confinement.
"Oh god, its like some weird anime!" He managed to free his arm and slash at the tentacles restraining his movement.

"Tenchi, here's your back up! DblBeam! slot in!" his operator slammed the chip into the port, loading the data up. the DblBeam was a bit of a crap-shoot, seeing is the effect was random, but in a situation like this, anything that happened would be good for them.

"XIII! Lets try and stop him in his tracks!" Kasumi yelled into the reciever. "Bubbstar1, Zapring1, Elecreel1, Fireburn1, slot in!"

The virus was probably too large to contain entirely in a bubble, but the bubbstar could atleast trap a good-sized portion of it. That's all XIII needed to pull this off. He fired the bubble right at the large virus, waiting a second for it to score the hit. "Alright! now for the followup!" The navi charged forward, letting of the blast of the zapring through the air in the same path as the bubble. The sword at his hip had already been charged with the Elecreel by now, so he whipped it out of it's sheath, letting loose a massive surge of electricity, all heading for the virus and its bubble-trapped part.

"Enigma, aim for it now! It should be in a bad way after that!" He yelled over to his partner in the battle. "I'll try and clear a path!"
He was already running around, aiming up with the other exposed parts of the virus and the goopy snot covered ground. It was then that XIII let the Fireburn fly, causing him to streak across his target line with a burning trail behind him. With any luck, not only would it damage the virus alot, but it would also burn away alot of the snot on the floor infront of them.

"Thanks for the distraction Enigma!" XIII yelled. Kasumi had already found the chip she was looking for.

The Navi took careful aim at the shot monster, the data flying from the gun on his hand almost faster than the gun itself could form. THe blase of erupting fire formed into the shape of a giant fiery bird as it raked its flaming wings across the area towards its target.

"fire? your telling me I have to use fire?" it was a question, but Kasumi's tone was dripping with amusement and mild sarcasm. "I-I think we can manage fire. What do you think XIII? I mean, it is your specialty after all...."
"Yeah..." The navi replied with a grin. "I think I can manage it."
"Alright, XIII, 3 Heatshots, slotted in and coming at ya! And one more shotgun to even it up, slot in!"

Kasumi practically kept these three heatshot chips grouped together in her folder, simply because they constantly found themselves in situations where if one heatshot would do well, 3 would turn the tide of battle. The Netnavi's arm had already turned into the pump-shotgun barrel he was so familiar with, and XIII took off from where he was standing, unloading shot after shot into the beast until all four chips worth of rounds were expended. They had burst out in a staccato of three burning shots followed by a same-sized hail of normal shot following behind them, guaranteed to rip anything they came across several new structurally superfluous orifices.

"Its a pleasure to meet you too, Ceres," Kasumi responded. "Thanks for the assist. WE got blindsided in that last battle, and there's not way we could have beaten this thing with XIII in such a poor condition as that."
"Hey! I could have stuck it out longer!" her navi replied in an annoyed tone. Though he wouldn't outright admit it, he was very thankful for the help, especially the healing. He just didn't like it when his operator inadvertently tried to emasculate him in front of others.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever hotshot. Look just don't get close, that thing is ten kinds of dangerous and 20 kinds of disgusting. you don't want to tango in close with that nasty thing." Kasumi was already rummaging through her bag to find some good chips. "Alright lets test the waters! Cactball1, Guard1 slot in!"

The Navi fired off the prickly cactus projectile into the living muck creature as he continued to dash back to where his new partner Enigma was now. When he was at a good position between the monster and the fellow navi, he activated the guard chip and a mettool-colored shield appeared in front of him.

XIII managed to pull himself out of the abysmal muck as it slowly dissipated from his body. Thank kami-sama that deleting a virus also deleted the mucus it produced here. There was still a big problem though: the navi was hurting bad, the left side of his body still rather numb and motionless, and the major baddie was still yet to take a dirt nap.

"huh? what?" XIII managed to flip around to find another Navi had entered the area, looking down at him. It was a very odd navi, an amorphous shape of random data fragments surrounding a singular core to make a vaguely humanoid shape. But help was help, and XIII wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth. "Y-yes, thank you. I could use some help."

((I'm just curious, Revived, but when you say "When the Hp is down" do you mean when the Hp gets very low, or do you mean after I've taken out it's HP?))

"XIII! Watch out!" Kasumi's warning was too late. The navi felt himself sink deep into the muck, his left hand becoming stuck to his body and unable to be freed from the super-glue quality substance.

He struggled regardless, but to no avail. "N-no good Kasumi. Hurry up with those chips! Its closing in!" XIII was still trying to keep his free arm above the goo so it remained fuctional. He could move, but it wasn't nearly fast enough to help him break free.

Kasumi went for broke, grabbing a grouping of chips and inserting them. No strategies this time. No Fancy techniques. Basically just unloading the most powerful and solid chips she had left to use.
"3 heatshot Chips, Slot in! Burn it to the ground, XIII!" She yelled to him, jsut as his arm was accepting the data and converting itself to a shotgun barrel.

The Navi also knew the going-for-broke tactic she was employing. He took his time taking a bead, and let fire all the shot successively. Each one would have to count, he was running out of options.

"Crap, some of the ground has been compromised" XIII grumbled into the com link. it was by sheer stroke of luck that one of those large loogies had just barely missed him. There was something to be said about attacking at random; It certainly made your opponents have trouble reading you. And tahts exactly what this ball of good was doing.

"XIII, lets try another multi attack! PhoenixShot1, Slot in!" Kasumi yelled back to him, inserting the data as fast as she could. Her navi's hand began to burn as it took the form of a flaming gun barrel. He took aim, making sure that while he was focused on the undamaged one, the remaining virus egg that was damaged would still easily be caught in the spread.

"Take this ya crappy viruses! Like I'll let you multiply!" He pulled the trigger and let the shot fly, the fireball that emerged taking the form of a giant firebird, and its body and wings raking across the battle field with burning fury.

It was not the last thing XIII did however. running behind the trail of his slow moving shot, he had been charging up his sword for a full on attack. He jumped at the last second, moving next to the stronger snotty egg, and let his blade fly from his sheath, all the pent up energy releasing in a huge attach far beyond his normal sword's capabilities.

XIII shrugged off the attack, though despite a great deal of revulsion from having been partially molested by a snot-tentacle.
"XIII, we're going to do a one-two combo on this, alright?" Kasumi spoke to her navi over the comlink. "BubbStar1, ElecReel1, Slot in!"

The navi took aim at the three, his arm in the shape of the bubble gun already, as he let the shot fly and spread. Bubbstar by itself, other than encasing them in a bubble temporarily, wouldn't be much hindrance to these targets. Thats where the ElecReel came in. Just as soon as the shots hit, he pulled his sword out, the blade charging with electricity. XIII gave it a powerful swing, discharging the surging electrical force from the edge and causing it to rush towards the same three targets with blinding speed and light as the air crackled behind their path.
