The only reason why I want a DS...
    AKA, Lucky Star Moe Drill.

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=CWU7bmMFPMo&mode=related&search=

As one of the very few people who will actually go out of their way to import games from Japan, I tend to fill up my CPU with Japanese games. Eternal Fighter Zero, Melty Blood Re-Act, Air Raid, and of course stuff like Air, Kanon, everything released in English on Insani (Genuflect motherfuc-), and even stuff like Sets in the East and Rises in the West: Operation Sanctuary, Tsukihime, Fate/Stay Night, and then that leads to, well, stuff that can't be reasonably fobbed off as a fandom; Welcome to Pia Carrot, Virgin Rooster, DiviDead...

So, this leads to my main question. Is it worth it to buy a DS to buy import games? Yeah, there's the LS game, but it's just one game. What other kinds of Japanese import games are there that I can obtain through importing?

Yes, I know those last few are Hentai games. Shaddap.

What the fu- Arbalan rolled to the side, dodging the charging Bandicoon, and began furiously praying to the Emperor, drawing and revving his chainsword.

"In the name of our Eternal Emperor, who sits on his Golden Throne on Holy Terra," Arbalan cried, as his chainsword revved to full power and began to glow with white light, "I deem you hereticus! May the Emperor forgive you, because I do not!" With that, Arbalan took his chainsword in both hands and slashed once, twice, three times into his maxim foe, before dropping his weapon and moving on to the last met.

Rageclaws appeared in his hands, represented with lightning claws, a pair of three-bladed gauntlets with the weapons extending past his arm. With quick haste he swang twice into it, the first strike a thrusting slash, and the second a sort of uppercut towards the met.

Would that kill the damn things? That Bandacoon, was it, was a strong foe. It could dodge area attacks it seemed, even managing to defend allies also targeted. Arbalan would have to remember that such foes were dangerous, and how to properly dispose of the durable creatures.

    ~

    Summary:

Bandacoon: Sig attack (70), 2TCD. Not sure how legal using a Sig attack on the second turn is, but..

    Met B: Rageclawed (40)

    Met B: RageClawed (40)

    Durable little tyksters.

    RE: Mission 2
Arbalan saw the Virii up ahead. Only three, and they didn't look like they could withstand persistant firepower. At least, not like the kind he applied.

"Cannon, please." Arbalan said, and soon the bolt pistol appeared in his hand, locked and loaded. Three... two... one... NOW! Arbalan quickly emptied the clip into the met on the side, the gun firing loudly and explosions and craters obscuring the met he targeted.

He continued to drive at full speed, getting dangerously close to the last two virii. "Shotgun, NOW!" Arbalan roared, and slide his bike to the side, so the tyres would be facing the enemy, and jumped off, letting the bike slam into the two Virii.

It exploded, shrapnel and burning fuel spreading everywhere. Arbalan grinned inside his mask even as he hit the ground hard, rolling to lower any sort of damage impact would do to him.

"Get ready to give me Rageclaw, My Lord." Arbalan said, standing up and awaiting the damage results. Supposedly, the attack should have killed them all, but still... Arbalan stood before the flames, awaiting a counterattack, his muscles ready to move at the hint of a possible counterattack.

    ~

    Summary:

Cannon: 40 dmg to Met A
Shotgun (Yeah, that's the bike): 50 DMG to metool B and Bandcoon.

Kyoshi was walking towards the beach, hoping to spend a bit of time looking at the sunset, when a thin man with messy, apparently itchy black hair walked up to him, speaking excitedly. "I saw you hanging around the set earlier." He said, "Your name's Kyoshi, right? My name's Moritake," He continued, and gave Kyoshi a strange look.

A wierdo, huh? Kyoshi thought, resisiting the urge to raise an eyebrow, They get all kinds in this place. Speaking, Kyoshi went with "You're right. It's a pleasure to meet you, Moritake-San.", in perfect Japanese. The man continued.

"So you must be here for the shooting, right? Of the movie, I mean. That's good, y'know? Get work where you can find it, that's always been my principle," Moritake spat off to the side, and continued with his verbal diarehha. "Say, what all have you heard about Sado Island? It's just a little island offa' the coast of Japan, so I'd say it couldn't have been much," Kyoshi was about to open his mouth and explain that he'd heard some rumors about ghosts and spirits, the usual sort of thing with these sort of places, but the man continued on his tirade. "What would you do if I were to tell you that you aren't safe here? What if I were to tell you that there's something supernatural in this place?"

Jesus, this man talks alot. Kyoshi thought, not even bothering to attempt a reply. It didn't matter, as there was barely a pause before Moritake continued with an easy laugh.

"Hey! Ghosts, man! Ghouls and spirits! Nah, you don't believe in any of that kind of stuff. Forget I mentioned that at all, heh," A snigger, and then a bit of silence, in which Kyoshi nodded, well, silently. This man definetly was a bit off, as he continued to move almost ceaslessly, as if he were posessed.

"You know..." Moritake said, even as he sat down with his hands beneath his knees, "This place.... It's actually pretty relaxing. I came here to relax.... Funny, right? Hoo ha ha hah!" Moritake exploded in laughter, as if he were told the best joke in the world. Almost as if he were faking such humor. "I hope you'll be able to relax too. We mature folks gotta keep up with eachother, right?" With that, Moritake stood, cracking his neck as he did, and walked off.

Kyoshi waited several moments before shaking his head. Man, that was wierd. he thought, before checking his cell phone. Still fourty-five minutes til dinner. Kyoshi sighed before walking towards the beach. Maybe he could catch the sunset before dinner.

RE: Reality Loop 2 (3/4 Players Currently)
Kyoshi stood in the inn, unable to relax quite yet. It had been two days, and he hadn't done that one important task he had to do. Not his work; he had already started on the script, although he would be supervising the acting to better choose the words to use in the Japanese Dub script. The Japanese language WAS subtle, after all, and while the actors WERE probably intelligent, it would be a distinct pain in the ass to teach an entire cast how to speak Japanese properly.

Ring, Ring, Ring. The phone in the lobby continued to ring, as Kyoshi looked out the window. Where the hell WAS she? Yukino was a Stay-at-home writer, for god's sake, and he was calling her CELL. The ringing stopped, and he heard her voice.

"Hey there, Kyoshi!" She said, a smile in her voice. "How are you?" Kyoshi breathed out a sigh of relief.

"I'm doing fine, Yukino." He replied. Yukino. Gods, she was a lifesaver. He had known the girl since high school, through his school's Japanese club, and he had kept in touch with her since then. What luck, that she lived in the same city he did. "How are you and Tomoko?" A giggle.

"Oh, we're doing so well! Aren't we?" A pause.

"Oto-San?" Kyoshi gave a wide grin as he heard the most important thing in his life speak. He could envision the small girl, her long, smooth hair and her small eyes reminding him of Hiromi.

"Hello, Tomoko!" Kyoshi said, hiding a sigh of relief. "How is my darling little daughter?" Tomoko giggled.

"I'm doing well..." The conversation continued for a while, about school, Yukino's house ("It's way bigger than our's! She's really rich!"), homework ("So hard~"), and eventually...

"I miss you, Oto-san." Kyoshi nodded.

"I miss you too, honey. I'll be home soon, okay? Be good." His voice broke a little. "I love you, okay?"

"I love you too, dad. Bye~!" Click. Tomoko had hung up. Kyoshi stopped for a moment, sighed, and then hung up too. Well, he figured, time to go see some of the others. Maybe he could make some friends here.

    RE: Reality Loop
    Name: Kyoshi Chavez
    Gender: Male
    Age: 32
History: Kyoshi was born and raised in America, specifically Hawaii, far from where this story is taking place. Like many other generic Americans, he went to school every day, got braces, lost braces, made friends, made enemies, learned, joined a school club, got a part time job, went to prom, graduated from High School, went to College, and fell in love.

This is where his story deviates from most normal people.

Kyoshi had always been in love with Japanese culture, and almost on a whim joined the JET program after college. He went there, and like most other JET employees, he worked at several different schools, made friends with his students, mastered his Japanese, and generally had a good time. Unlike (most) JET teachers, he met someone and feel in love.

That someone was a teacher at one of his schools, Ms. Hiromi Takeda. Although it was socially awkward, as Takeda was a Sempai, and Kyoshi was a Kohai, (Meaning Takeda had seniority of Kyoshi in the workplace, although it is more complicated than that), the relationship budded, and three years later, near the end of Kyoshi's JET career and after almost three seasons worth of sitcom Romantic Comedy later, they got married.

Kyoshi became a Japanese citizen, and about three months after marriage, Hiromi became pregnant. Both parties were deleriously happy. After Kyoshi's JET career ended, he got a job at a regular school, and everything was swell. They had a two-bedroom apartment, they were both swell, everything was perfect.

    Until the accident.

Kyoshi and Hiromi were walking home from her baby shower one winter evening, arm in arm, when all of a sudden, Hiromi ran forward, through a park. Kyoshi followed her, wondering what was up. When they got to the frozen lake in the center of the park, Hiromi stopped and embraced her husband.

"I love you so much." She said.

"I love you too." Kyoshi replied, warm in her embrace. And for that moment, everything was perfect.

    And then the ice broke.

Kyoshi was able to pull himself and his wife from the freezing water, but by the time the ambulance got there, his wife was beyond help. Only the baby could be saved, and even she would come out near death.

The baby spent two months in the hospital before she could come out, hooked up to machines for that entire time to keep her alive. When she finally became healthy and was able to be released, she was handed to a still-greiving husband.

"What is her name?" The doctor asked, looking into his eyes.

A long pause. And then, the name..

    "Her name is Tomoko."

Seven years have passed since then. Tomoko goes to school, like any other girl her age, and even though she has never had a mother, Kyoshi does his best to treat and raise her well. When he saw a large paying role for an translator who spoke English perfectly, he leapt at the opportunity, even if it meant leaving Tomoko with a friend, Yukino, until he returned. He got the part almost too easily, and it has left him questioning those who hired him. However, the money was too much needed, especially with expensive hospital bills to pay and being an only parent.

And so, with a heavy heart, Kyoshi left his only daughter in his best friend's hands, and cast his fate with this group, never realizing what the hell he wasgetting himself into...

Appearance: Kyoshi is five feet and seven inches tall, with black hair like a Beetle. Although it has become more pale from his life in Japan, his skin is still a very light brown. He has an okay complexion, with wider eyes and a large nose, with straight teeth and regular ears. He shaves regularly, although recently a bit of stubble has begun to grow on his face from the stress of caring for his only daughter alone. Medium build, with broad shoulders.

Personality: Despite the stress of balancing career, his daughter, and his family, Kyoshi is still a very pleasant gentleman. He opens doors for women, speaks with tact and dignity, and understands the subtility of Japanese Ettiquite. After all, he has been here for a while. He speaks fondly of his daughter, and tries to avoid the topic of his late wife.

Role: Translator: Translating the movie to ENGLISH. On-set. Huh?

    Merit:

Responsible: As a decent, hard-working gentleman, Kyoshi is responsible for every aspect of both his and his child's life.

    Flaws:

Traumatized: Hey, if YOUR wife lay dying in your arms and you were helpless to save her...

Unlucky: Kyoshi does his best to stack his odds; his luck has never been very good, so he does his best to lower the amount of things left to chance to up his probabilities.

Arbalan, Kojiro said through the PET, as the Marine Navi drove his bike through a digital plane, Our Database is being harassed by some kind of Virii. Being the ONLY Navi on shift, your mission is simple; kill them all, let Suzumiya sort them out. Arbalan let the false worship go as he took a sharp left, his tyres squealing against the artificial asphalt.

"Affirmative!" He said, drawing his chainsword as he began to close in on the location. "Approaching targets now. Shouldn't be too rough; the files are in ACDC, after all!"

Arbalan considered his method; this time, he thought, the blunt assault may not work. Tougher enemies, tougher firepower required. His buster could end up being his last weapon, if his Rageclaw broke.

The Rageclaw. Not his perferred weapon; Arbalan was a Sword type, and Rageclaw was NOT a sword. It was a lightning claw. He could USE it, after all, he was a marine, but still...

There. Virii... Arbalan revved his Chainsword as he closed in...

ITs just, you all seem to distance youselves from me...alot. On everything. I mean srs, about 3/4 the time a topic thats been being replied to every 3 minutes suddenly moves half way down the spam can page as soon as I post in it. or at least it might as well should. Im like a pause button that gets stuck sometimes >_>. Please replace me with a blank button. I wanna be a blank button like the others. Being the semi-stuck pause button makes me ignored cuz i stick.

    un-stick plz.

Yes, as a matter of fact I am.

I have six forums, twelve short stores, four-five years of experience and a page to a page-and-a-half average on the majority of my RP posts on most other sites. I also can probably say with good confidence that you're about thirteen, or at least unable to use a shift key.

And you type the word you with the LETTER u. I mean come ON, how intellegent can you be? I agree with everyone else, come back when your balls drop.

It's you're, not your. You ARE calling me a noob, not your calling me a noob.

I'll refrain from continuing to keep me from being a flaming bastard that I am on most other forums, but seriously, check what spiel comes out of your mouth, you imputent child.

If it's not a tasteless joke involving babies, necrophilia, or some combination thereof, it's not funny.
