Memoriam exploded onto the Net, aura burning around him like a halo, leaving a faint trail of golden light as he sprinted and skipped along pathways. He plunged deeper and deeper into the Net, hands tingling with possibilities, weapons flickering in and out of existence, never the same twice, as Memoriam couldn't even decide what kind of implement would serve best against these weak enemies.
Memoriam, be careful... neither of us has done this in a while...
Memoriam nearly laughed at this. "Honestly?" He shouted in mid-flight. "I was made for this. I chose ACDC Net to give you a chance to catch up!" He didn't even break his speech as he crashed into a wall with both feet and leapt off into the air, suspended for nearly a full second before landing dramatically in a clearing.

A Metool approaches Memorium, not looking too sure of itself. It fidgets around a bit, seeming nervous. Two Powies accompany the small virus. They float around a few yards behind it, flapping their arms.

"Give me some heat!" Shouted Memoriam as he charged the Metool, hoping to catch it before it had a chance to set itself straight.
You got it. Through Kazu's sensitive microphone, Memoriam heard a clatter that sounded like Battlechips spilling out of a folder and onto the table, then a muffled mumbling that sounded like swearing.
So Memoriam was left to improvise. "Good thing you're as good of a designer as an operator," he teased. As his operator fumbled for some firepower, Memoriam charged his aura's energy in his hands, then hurled three burning red globs of it across the Net-scape and into his enemies' eyes.
The maneuver would buy time-- just enough for Kazu to put some damage output into Memoriam's hands as he sprinted in a curve and started to move in for a strafing attack run. Memoriam's eyes traced a line between the enemies, the perfect trajectory for his weapon. An instant before he reached the line of no return, Memoriam's human Netop got it together, and Memoriam's aura condensed into a crackling shaft of energy in his left hand.
Flickers of electricity followed Memoriam as one part of his energy formed a shield, and the other, his sword. He entered the group, slashing with deadly precision, then exited the other side in mid-air, still glowing with energy.
He rotated until he was flying backwards, facing the remnants of his foes... and then his energy lanced down into the ground in two equal parts, tearing and striking what should be the final blow.
1. Recklessness [Berserk, Knockback all enemies]
2. ElecSword Rush [Tac. Move- Elecsword 80 Met, followed by two Powies]
3. Dodge
4. Twinfang [70 to both Powies *or* to survivors]

Memoriam charges up to the viruses, sending rage insinuating orbs at the viruses, which the Powies bounce over, but pushes the Metool way back.
Continuing on the reminiscent navi activates his Elecsword and destroys the Metool before it even had time to raise its pickaxe.
Taking a gradual turn around, Memoriam quickly took down the two Powies with his TwinFang launcher, finishing the battle.

"You okay out there?"
Peachy.
"Got your chips together?"
Working on it.
"Work on it faster!"
Memoriam was already airborne, soaring between gaps and tumbling over the tops of small structures.

Three Canodumbs and Two Beetanks stood before Memoriam, quickly-- well, the beetanks trundled, and the canodumbs were kinda- stationary. Anyway. They swiveled/turned/looked at Memoriam, and knew it was a battle to the death.

"Stationary targets-- but first-- Shotgun!"
Memoriam jumped forward, slipped back, spun, sprinted sideways, set up an elaborate feint that would put his enemies into the perfect position before--
Shotgun! Go!
Memoriam whipped his gun from its holster and fired it sideways, using the recoil to spray the destructive energy pellets between both his enemies. The force of the blast nearly tore the gun from his hand, but Memoriam was able to keep it under control, whirling it with the momentum and then tossing it up into the air.
Memoriam crouched, perfectly still, as his gun spun loops in the air. He didn't have time to explain to his flustered Operator, but he hoped that the gun would attract the Cannons' attention, so that he could--
What are you doing? MOVE!
Memoriam's feet left the ground with a rush of air, and he soared upwards, empowered with three chips that Kazu had furnished him with in the meantime. As he climbed higher, Memoriam unleashed the full fury of his prepared BattleChips...
The jewel on his hand was alive with energy as it unleashed projectiles at the very speed of sound. His hand puslated with power, unleashing energy bolts with a sound like a machine gun. Six blue globs of power that coalesced into solid spikes, and then a furious shower of bullets too fast to see.
1. Shotgun Spray [Tac Move 50 BeetankA, BeetankB]
2-3-4. Aquaneedle, Aquaneedle, Vulcan2 barrage on Canodumbs [40 to all Canodumbs, followed by 10x5 shots]

As Memorium moves in for the kill, the Beetanks move a bit apart. Because of this, only one of them is slain by the Shotgun. Memorium then fires a hodgepodge of attacks at the group of Canodumbs which completely wipe them out. The remaining Beetank, who had to focus on dodging before, now takes a few moments to readjust its aim before it can try attacking.

Memoriam landed on all fours, then looked up, and was visibly infuriated by the fact that there was still one virus standing. "Areagrab," he mutered, remaining in his crouching position. Within a split-second, Memoriam's newly readied Netop had sent the proper chip. Memoriam straightened to his full height-- and vanished.
He reappeared directly behind the virus, with an offensive chip already charged. A ring of energy converged on the virus and discharged an electric attack before flowing back to its master and hardening into a shifting blade.
Memoriam took the weapon-- and dropped it. Before it could hit the ground, he brought his foot up to meet it. His shoe glowed with the power of a Sword chip as he hurled into a backflip, driving a blind kick through the space where the enemy should be held in place by the Zapring attack.
Before Memoriam could even land from his aerial stunt, the power of the Sword dispersed, and Memoriam's energy re-shaped into a cloud of ice crystals that rushed downwards to strike one last time.

Memorium goes overboard in his assault, sending a variety of attacks his opponent's way. First he warps behind it, zaps it to cause stun, slices it, and finally hits it with a chunk of ice... or at least he would have, had the other two attacks not already finished things.

Memoriam held up a hand, and drew in the spoils of the battle to absorb them, then clicked his tongue at how meager the rewards were. Well, no matter, he would make up for the low rewards by tearing through enemies even faster.
His Operator continued to organize and re-organize the physical chip folder as Memoriam leapt off into the Net.

Two hotheaded viruses stand blocking Memorium's way. A pair of Spikey's approach from the side, looking to get in on the action. A bit furthur back behind the Champus, a bat floats. Above it, two more bats fly, ready to back the virus up.

Enemy spotted! Get r--
Kazu didn't even finish his sentence before he had to devote his attention to flipping through the chip folder. The favorite, "cheap-shot" chips were in a separate pocket for easy access.
Without slowing down or veering off, Memoriam sprinted directly between the two enemies blocking his path, gesturing violently with his hands as if to swat them out of his way. A brilliant flash of white signalled the activation of the first chip, followed by two brillant spikes of white that lanced through air and data with equal fluid speed. Memoriam emerged, still running, from the crowd of malignant viruses, with his second and most commonly used weapon already glowing brilliantly in his hand, casting light in harsh patterns across his body like a lantern. Shadows played across his mismatched clothing and wickedly grinning face as he seemed to levitate into the air with a powerful jump, rotating at an almost lazy, deliberate pace. The weapon screamed from his hand from a seemingly casual flick of the wrist, leaping powerfully between enemies like a bolt of real-world lightning, and striking with equal power.
Memoriam landed on all fours, poised with defenses ready and feet braced against the ground, eyes locked on every target at once, mind blank and waiting for the slightest input to trigger a lightning reaction.

Memoriam dashes forward, skewering the two Champu in an instant before moving onto his next strategy, mainly to attack those flying Pulsebats. Whirling his Elecsword mightily, the navi sent the weapon hurtling at the viruses, hitting two, the ones at high altitude, and missing the other. The remaining Pulsebat let out a screech in tandem with a Spikey's fireball, but both attacks missed.

Memoriam stood up straight, and appeared to tear his glittering data-sword in half, whereupon it fragmented into a cloud of squares orbiting his body. "Okay," he muttered, loud enough for his Operator to hear, "Light 'em up."
Right. Kazu's voice in Memoriam's head was distracted, either because he was too busy fumbling for BattleChips or because he had been thinking of something else. Either way, a fitting arsenal came to Memoriam with suitable speed.
For at least a second, nothing appeared to happen. Memoriam stood still, surrounded by a whirlwind of data, now dense, now transparent, but moving ever faster, glowing ever brighter, until--
Memoriam was temporarily obscured by a halo of white as projectiles of energy and data-matter streaked from his body, curved in an elliptical loop, and converged on enemies three at a time. In the span of a half-second, more than a dozen projectiles blazed through the air in different shapes and sizes, a brilliant light-show of fighting spirit. Over the blaze, Memoriam could be heard shouting with effort and ecstacy, willing each projectile to home in, explode on impact, and kill.

The Aquaneedles crash down and heavily injure the Spikeys but fails to delete either of them thanks partly to their own fast footwork. Similarly, the Pulsebat is peppered with the full salvo from the Vulcan2 only to barely escape deletion by flapping up to a higher altitude before the Vulcan1 loads up. The Spikeys attack in tandem and while one fireball dissipates on Memorium's shield, the other breaks through and deals a painful blow to his chest.

You're not done yet! Stun the stronger one, then finish the job!
Memoriam opened his eyes as the first fireball broke against his barrier, then squeezed them shut again as he raised his arms in defense against the unexpected second one. The blast nearly knocked him off his feet, but when he recovered into his fighting stance, it was with eyes tinted with renewed fighting spirit.
"Thanks for not going down as easily as the last group!" He shouted as his weapon re-formed in his hand, the blade flowing into one shape, then another. "I've been waiting for a --"
His speech paused for just a half-instant as he launched a spurt of lightning from his off-hand.
"-- chance to--"
He leapt forward, closing the distance in a single stride as he talked.
"-- Show off some of--"
He lunged forward, then his weapon flashed orange as it flowed backward through space, seeming to drag him into a reverse-hit aimed at the other Spikey.
"-- my... bladework!"
These words were said by empty air as he leapt, vanished, and rematerialized behind the Pulsebat, delivering a final blow with a final syllable.
