Down the Tubes!

Linky was the first to appear when Sketi logged into the toliet's computer, the half-spheres appearing suddenly with a 'snap' as static noises began to build. Four more snaps sounded as the petals appeared, two at a time close together over the spheres. The petals seperated and floated slowly to their places around the centerpieces, one for each half-sphere. When Linky was complete it floated upwards, the static growing louder as Sketi began to phase into the net between the sets. She appeared transparent at first, and grey-scaled to boot, color growing as the Navi began looking more and more solid. At last she stood in the net of the toliet, nose wrinkled as she glanced about.

"See anything yet?" Karin asked, briefly wondering if the Net smelled. "Remember, your job is to find the program or assess the cause of trouble and correct it if possible."

"Yes ma'am! We will do our best ma'am!" Sketi cried with a grin, snapping to attention and saluting. "We shall find the cause of malfuctioning and correct it before you get your boots wet!" With that the pastel colored Navi took off at an easy run, laughing as she looked around. "Y'know," She continued with a more subdued tone. "This place looks a lot like ACDC Net." Karin snorted at Sketi's comment and nodded.

"Of course, we live in ACDC, Captain Obvious." She couldn't help her self from a smile as the Navi groaned and smacked the oval on her helmet.

"Oh man, you really should upgrade my processing power when you get the chance."

Three short, helmeted figures walk up. One waves a pickaxe threateningly. How basic!

"Rawr to you too!" Sketi cried happily, waving a fist at the threatening Mettaur. "Hey Karin! They seem to like your color." The white-clad Navi put a hand on her hip and pointed the other at the towards the Metools. "Send me some chips, puzzle-girl, and tell me what to do!"

"So you can't do anything on your own?" Karin taunted, slotting in her still shiny shotgun and cannon chips. Sketi ground her teeth and stretched her left arm out, the various parts of Linky beginning to glow and whirr as the chip data was downloaded. "Hit the first two with the shotgun then snag the last with the cannon."

"I can handle myself thank you very much. It's just easy to make you come up with anything!" Nevertheless, the Navi began plotting out how exactly she was going to do what was asked. The wires flashed together as her outstretched arm shifted itself into the shape of a shotgun as Sketi began running in an arch. When she deemed she'd run far enough she turned to face the Pickaxe wearing menaces, taking aim before firing her weapon at the first two to appear. The shotgun disappeared from Sketi's arm and the pastel-colored female moved to get the last Metool in her sights as the cannon appeared over her hand. "Gotcha!" She cried, bracing herself with feet wide and one hand on her shooting wrist when she fired at the so far undamaged virus.

Sketi strafes across the ground, before coming to a halt and blasting the first two viruses with her Shotgun. The last Metool lets out a surprised "Meep," ducking under its helmet and negating the Cannon fire. But it seems to be pretty vulnerable to a repeated amount of attacks now.

Sketi straightened up an put one hand on her hip, the other held out infront of her in the victory pose when the cannon faded away, a grin on her lips. "We only have one more to go! Karin! Send us the remaining chip please! We will attack with our special add-on as well in hopes of a swift victory!"

"Understood, sending Rageclaw now. It can be used multible times so use it freely." Linky began glowing again, static noises slowly growing from around the custom weapon's various parts. Two of the petals from each side flew to their prospective hands and stabbed intot he back, though they seemed to be doing no damage to Sketi. In fact the Navi merely grinned as the petals began melting down, the shifting colors sliding over her hands and forming claws at the end of her fingers. The glow began to fade away, the liquid-gloves becoming more solid as the static died down once more.

"Alright! Hiding under that silly helmet won't save you from us!" Sketi cried, extending one multi-colored glove towards the remaining Metool. "You should've run away when you had the chance, we won't give you another one!" With that she darted forwards, slashing wildly at the front of the helmeted virus. Her hands glowed briefly at the begining then quickly faded.

Hm, it doesn't seem like the toilet will just be fixed with this. Keep going, or call the plumber?

"Hey, a gift. This might come in handy." Sketi said with a grin, stretching her hands out infront of her. The gloves became liquid once more and began sliding to her wrists as the petals rebuilt themselves and pulled free. They hovered for a moment over her hands before zipping into the left-over data and spearing it through. They glowed brightly, the colors shifting more rapidly before. The petals began to download the chip, pulling it up and transferring back to the Pet where Karin slotted in a blank chip to collect it. "Heey, rubber-wearing wonder. It doesn't look like the toliet's fixed in here, how about up there?" Sketi frowned and tapped a foot while she waited for reply.

"No, I didn't think it'd be that easy. Keep going deeper in." Karin answered after a moment of carefully peering into the bowl of the toilet, her nose scrunching up as well. "Also..." The operator hesitated, glancing out the window then back at her Pet. "Eh, nevermind."

"Hmph, we will continue on then, prepare to watch us destroy even more challengers!" Sketi declared, pumping a fist in the air as Linky made clicking noises and light glinted off her visor. "Now then, just make sure you keep your eyes open, Karin. You might miss our awesome abilities." The navi smirked and began walking, eyes scanning beneath the helmet for another viruse or three.

"Heey, care to tell us why there's stoves in a toilet?" Sketi asked, staring at the horde and backing up. "Sure this is a much smaller part of ACDC Net but still..." The Navi scratched the back of her neck as Linky crackled with static.

"I'm more concerned about the pink virus. Those look electrical, if that's the case they need to be taken out quickly. Sending Shotgun and Rageclaw, go after the rabbits first." The operator replied quietly, sliding in the two mentioned chips and leaning back. "Good luck."

"Yeah, yeah." Sketi said, lifting her right hand and letting it flop around as if she had no support in her wrist. "Lets start!" She said, throwing her left arm up with a grin, the wires on her back glowing brightly as her hand shifted once more into the Shotgun shape. She ran to the side of the virus pack, aiming carefully at the pink balls of wrap around wire before firing. She leapt back when her Shotgun faded away, and began weaving her way closer in what was to be an unpredictable pattern.

The Bunnies die, quickly. The Oldstoves slowly move toward Sketi and release streams of fire, but to no avail as the warrior is too quick for them. However, their burns leave some cracks on the ground.

"Try to stay off the cracks, I'm sending you the Rageclaw now. Try to avoid getting damaged, we don't have any recovery items or chips." Karin said, sliding the chip into her Pet as she mentioned it, her voice staying low the whole time.

"What, afraid it'll break your back if we do?" Sketi taunted, stretching her arms out once again. Linksys flashed and four petals floated forwards, embeding themselves two to an arm. They melted down and coated her hands, forming into the claws. "We'll be glade when we get more chips, maybe we'll get something good from this bunch. Here we go!"

The Navi ran forwards with one arm half-bent infront of her chest, the other infront of her stomach. She ran towards the closet stove, watching the ground and moving when needed to keep off of the cracked panels. She lept forwards, slashing in opposite directs at its face before jumping to the side and rolling past it and its fellow in an attempt to avoid any counter attacks. "Come and get me!"

Sketi manages to make it accross the floor without breaking any panels. She also manages to strike the stove twice before jumping away, finishing it off. The other stove tries to attack but it misses as she moves away. Now it might be a bit harder not to mess up the ground, though.

"Alright! Time to finish up this last one!" Sketi called to her op. "What we have will do fine, we hope you don't mind losing your back for the cause of saving the toilet though!" The Navi raced towards the last remaining Oldstove with that cryptic remark, not bothering to slow down as she ran straight towards the fire-belching virus. Much less effort was taken now to completely avoided cracked areas, she merely altered course to avoid running over the middle of them in her charge.

"What do you mean losing my back?" Karin asked as her Navi made a rush towards the last opponent of this batch. The puzzle-lover glanced around her bathroom then turned back to her Pet with a slight frown, quiet voice speaking up once more. "The bowl hasn't overflowed yet."

"You just missed an old nursery rhyme reference!" Sketi explained as she leapt forwards, claws slashing at the Oldstove's top and sides. She gave a wobbly hop back from the flame-spitter and took a couple steps to the side before lunging towards it again. "Hah! Fear our claws!"

Sketi puts on too much weight running on the cracks, falling into an eternal abyss that is the Undernet! Omega level viruses swarm and attack her in various ways! Karin's PET explodes from the trauma, raining bits and fire everywhere, setting the house into a blaze!

"Hah, we are the chaaampions!" Sketi sang, tilting from side to side as she approached the leftover data. She hadn't been sure running along the sides would save her, glancing backk at the few missing panels she was glad it had. Her claws melted down, the liquid sliding over her hand and lower arm to reform into the petals once more. They didn't stay in her arms any longer, pulling themselves free and floating over to spear the chip data on their tips. "You know, Linky is quite handy." Sketi remarked absently, watching as the glowing petals absorbed the chip then floated back to their bases. There was a small 'click' as the glow faded away, the data successfully downloaded into the PET.

"They would have saved you a walk if you had stood still. There was no need to walk to the data." Karin replied peevishly, she really didn't understand why Sketi take full advantage of the program. Then again, she hadn't seen Sketi this energetic or talkative in a while. Perhaps fighting the virus hordes had helped Sketi smooth over some of her internal issues...? The NetOp shook her head again and spoke, letting annoyance tinge her voice. "You know, next time you think about risking my neck by stepping on a crack you should give a little advanced warning."

"Bah, you know there's no truth to that." With a negligant wave of her hand Sketi pushed the problem aside and turned towards where she had been facing before. "Alright, we have a new chip and we're still in top shape! Lets see if we can't find out whats bothering ol' Ralph, shall we?" The Navi gave a mock-bow, gesturing as if to let her Operator pass ahead of her before straightening off and jogging forwards. "Heeeere virus virus virus! Here little virus!"

Sketi slid to a halt and stared at the new virus bunching, her lips twisting into a frown. "Don't tell us you tried to use the toilet as a greenhouse!" She joked, shaking her head as if disappointed as she stood with the back of her wrists on her hips. "We mean seriously, stoves and now things that look like the escaped from the yard." She was trying to talk off some of her nerves, she hadn't expected such a wide variety in a toilet after all. Static began to build from Linky, a low, steady beat barely audible in the background.

"Well, that's hardly my fault." Karin replied dryly as she watched her Navi do a quick head-count of the viral horde. "Unfortunately we have nothing that boasts an elemental advantage. However, you can hit both a bush and a cacti with Shotgun. I'll send Cannon and Guard as well, make the most of it." She continued, slotting in the chips as they were named after checking over both her chip supply and the battleground. "If you need it, you have permission to use your special next tern as well as Rageclaw."

"We hear you loud and clear, o'miss strategist." Sketi gave a mock salute and stretched her left arm out, the wires on her back glowing as they carried chip data through her body. The lower section of her arm started to glow, brightening 'til the Navi herself had to look away for the split-second it took it to reform into the Shotgun. She raised it up a little higher, supporting the change in weight with her right hand on what had once been her wrist. The weapon fired at the first cactus and bush and she took a step to the side. The wires pulsed with light as the petals flashed and the spent gun began to morph. It took a boxier shape, no details seen in the liquid-light it had become for the switch. It lost its glow and settled into the familiar Cannon shape as the Navi took aim at the second Cacti and fired, the shot rocking her back on her heels. "Hah, see how easy that was? These guys aren't a match for us either!"

"Yes Sketi, you're doing...good." Despite starting off with the patronizing tone of someone who'd heard a boast one two many times, the end of Karin's statement was actually sincere. The Operator leaned back to watch as four petals floated down to form a loose circle or box in front of Sketi with the points facing each other. They began to spin around and around and around, until there was nothing but and undistinguishable blur in front of the Navi. The petals began to slip out of the whirlwind one by one until nothing should have been left inside. Something did seem to be left inside though, the spinning began to slow, making the multi-pastel colored shield easier to identify.

"Hey, you're sure this thing will hold, right?" The Navi looked rather doubtful of its ability to protect her but crouched behind it nonetheless. She peered around the edges, quickly ducking back if an attack was headed her way. "If this doesn't work you'll get and earful afterwards."

Sketi lets loose with a shotgun. Since the shrubby seemed to be using the primary target as a shield, the blast manages to catch them both, killing the bush. The next shot hits home as well, dealing decent damage to the other cacti. The first virus hit tries to get some revenge damage in, which unfortunately for it back fires, resulting in its demise. Then the Shrubby, gathering up its courage, sneaks out from behind its shelter and spews out a log. Luckily for Sketi, it was in such a hurry to get back to hiding that its aim is horribly off.

"If you don't know how to aim you shouldn't be fighting us!" Sketi told the virus group, casting a nervous glance over her shoulder all the same. "Hey Karin! Send us the Rageclaw please. We need to get rid of that shield!" The Navi lifted her hands and held them out in front of her as she favored the virus group with a grin.

"Alright, remember to dodge as well." Karin slotted in the chip that had been asked for and leaned back to watch the fight. "That cactus has the lowest health as well." The Operator added, glancing back at the toilet to check the water yet again.

"Yeah, we know, we know." The Navi flopped a hand around beside her head as she spoke, obviously having heard a piece of advice too often. "If we attack the one that's the least healthy it'll be an easy win, and there'll be less to deal with." Linky flashed brightly before all the light shifted to two petals on either side. The wires running behind her flashed and the petals launched themselves point first towards Sketi's arms, stabbing in below her elbows.

"Alright virus horde! Take your stand!" She cried, pointing a finger towards the group as the light from the petals faded and they began to melt. Within seconds the multi-colored liquid had covered lower arms and hands, shaping itself into the claws once more. Pastel blues and greens slide along the gloves' length, a flash of orange appearing occasionally on the right hand. "We do believe you ordered a salad, Ms. Karin?"

"If you feel like preparing it." The NetOp replied lazily, watching the screen of her PET as Sketi leaned forwards, a small grin on the Navi's face. Her Navi hadn't joked like that for a while, it was good to hear.

"Ay ay! One mixed salad coming up! Prepare to eat it twigs, thorns and all!" The Navi giggled then raced forwards, left arm folded over her chest as she ran towards the trio. Her right arm reached out as she darted past the cactus-shield, slashing at its side. She didn't bother attacking it twice, once she was behind it she lunged for the bush, her left arm unfolding to slam into the virus's body. The Navi leapt away after she made her attack, whirling around on one foot to face the group and begin running around it to her earlier position.

Sketi manages to successfully eliminate one of the viruses, before swiping at another. The remaining Cacty rolls its head at the navi, but she proves to be too nimble and avoids the attack. The Shrubby proceeds to cower behind the remaining Cacty virus.
