"I hate Shrubbies...." Slade clenched his hands after barely escaping the rolling log from Shrubby. He glared towards the virii, growled and stomped the ground in his attempt to threaten the shrubby for he knew that shrubbies were well-known of their timid nature. By the time, he had already gotten rid of the heatshots. A moment after, the surrounding atmosphere grew darker, almost pitch-black as Slade activated his incoming attack.
"Leave the shrubby for now, focus on the remaining Mets!" Kai ordered and placed a chip into the chip reader of his PET. The reader analyzed the chip's data and upon completing, the data was then transmitted to the blue NetNavi for his use.
Meanwhile, Slade had already stood in front of a mettaur after a swift charge towards it. The claw on Slade's right arm had already set ablaze with blackened flare. Staring straight towards the eyes of the virii, Slade tried to let the feeling of fear enveloped the virii. A dynamic slash was then delivered onto the virii, a slash that would pierce even a solid alloy.
"Next the weakened Met! Smack him using the rageclaw!"
Another command from Kai was understood fully by Slade. The Navi then directed his sight to his prey. He tried to distract the Met's attention by growling while a faint light glowed on his left hand, morphing the fingers of him into sharp nails. And without further dialogues, the navi kicked the ground and bulleted to the Met, hence delivering a deadly stab with his fully-materialized claw.

The Shrubby is unaffected by the tactic, since it is hidden. TRhis soon changing, however, as the mets are taken down. It then fires a log right into Slade, panicing.

The shrubby's log hit directly to Slade's left leg, knocking him to lose balance and fell onto the floor. The fall was rather painful than the shrubby's attack as Slade slammed his face first during the fall. He recovered from the attack quickly, standing as soon as he shrugged the attack off. His pride had been hurting more than the injury. ...darn it...a shrubby brought me down....unforgivable!

So, Dad was right about the system had some path to the Net...but then..., Kai lost in his deep thought for a moment but snapped after Arbalest said that he would like to tag along with them. "That would be appreciated. I mean, we don't know what we're going to face. And it would be helpful if we have someone to tag along in this mission..." Kai shown his appreciation about Arbalset idea about helping him. He really glad that the strangers was not an enemy after all.

"Arch, Slade and I will fight and distract the virii in close range, so it'll be better for you to keep damaging them with long ranged attacks." Kai smiled as he suggested a battle strategy to his new comrade. He then shifted his attention towards his NetNavi, assisting him in thebattle. "I'll send some chips...Battle Routine, Set!"
"Execute!" While Kai prepared his battlechips, Slade had already charged towards the virus group. With his claw in hand, he called forth a black fog which surrounded the entire Netscape. Once he leapt onto the air, the fog seemed concentrated towards his claw, harnessing its piercing power. The claw was then set ablaze and swung repeatedly upon the hound of flame.

"Acknowledged!" As Slade landed safely after the repeated slash, a blinding light enveloped the Navi's body, mostly to the right hand of him. The light slowly faded as a blade, glowed with a faint blue light, attached to his right arm. The navi moved his body swiftly with his maximum speed, lunging and side-rolling to prevent any obstacle overcame him. Slade pointed his blade tip directly in between the Spikey's eyes, with his jet-wing throttling in his attempt to stab the spikey to death.

" Arbalest gave his word....he picked back the arrow that he just dropped, insert it into his bow....he search for any suitable target, he shoots out one arrow to a spikey....then he shoots again, to a met....to improve his accuracy, he ducked before he used the Double Arrow skil....

Arbalest receives the vulcan gun....knowing that the met he attacked using arrow don't die so easily, he finished it with a vulcan....now he only got 2 shots left, then he spots a mettaur is charging towards him....Arbalest is forced to dodge, for once he thinks that the met should quit in a few seconds but seeing that the met had gone insane....he don't have other choice but to fires the vulcan shot in order to stop the raging met....

Arbalest seems to be quite far from the battlefield, thanks to the crazy met....he need to get there fast so he dashes, he noticed that his partner, Slade is struggling....once he got there, Arbalest make a high jump and a full spin....he kept his left-eye closed, he's targetting a mettaur because that was the plan....he take down all the mets while Slade will deal the spikeys....he fires the cannon shot as soon as he target locked the mets....

Slade strikes the first Spikey before cutting through its neighbor. Arbalest then takes out the weakened dog and also wounds a met. He then uses a Vulcan to take out two helmeted foes. He then blasts the last one, but recieves a heatshot in the face from the final enemy.

Arbalest becomes very pissed off with Arch's doing things, he did this without even talk to him....he got a LOT of things to say but when he remembers what happened last night, he decided to keep quiet and concentrate on his fight....he don't have other choice but to self-defend the fireball and it blasts his head....he let himself fall to the ground after the heatshot burns his face, he didn't move even a slight inch....Arbalest crashes to the ground, and he's unconcious....Arch becomes terrified and dozens of questions running through his mind, is Arbalest alive?, is he dead?, what should he do if he's dead?....

Arbalest becomes very pissed off with Arch's doing things, he did this without even talk to him....he got a LOT of things to say but when he remembers what happened last night, he decided to keep quiet and concentrate on his fight....he don't have other choice but to self-defend the fireball and it blasts his head....he let himself fall to the ground after the heatshot burns his face, he didn't move even a slight inch....Arbalest crashes to the ground, and he's unconcious....Arch becomes terrified and dozens of questions running through his mind, is Arbalest alive?, is he dead?, what should he do if he's dead?....
" Arbalest....are you alright!!! " he tries to get Arbalest on the line, but Arbalest didn't respond....Arch reminds himself don't cry, get tough....Arbalest will laugh when saw you crying over him....then he say a few last words with eyes closed....
" dear Arbalest.exe, i still remember you in my heart even though you're gone, i shall remember today's date and time....although i've gotten myself a new navi, but you're still number one....to show you that how meaningful you're to me, no one could ever use the battlechips that you've used.... "

" said Arbalest, he do a little exercise....trying to move his arms and legs....jumping several times, do some punching and kicking.... " now that's better.... "
" great! now let's finish this fight, i'm positive that you want to pay back right??? cannon! double-slot in! download! " Arch pick two cannonchips from the holder and slot-in both chips....Arbalest receives the battlechip data, he dashes to the spikey....attempt to chase that thing and blast the beast-like virus with cannon from short ranged....he will make sure that the cannon shot will injures the spikey's head badly, Arbalest is full with rage....the hatred towards the spikey keep increased each time he's closer to the spikey....

Slade stunned, seeing as his partner was hit by a fireball. He rushed towards the fallen Navi, but stopped as Arbalest insisted that he's okay. Still being a bit uneasy, Slade moved quickly, yet steadily, from one side of the battle field to another, dodging unnecessary attacks. He made his way towards his partner, hoping that he would provide assistance to Arbalest somehow.
"Arbalest made his move...so should you. Battle Chip, EnergyBomb! Slot In!" Kai stated, inserting a battlechip for Slade. Two blast came out from Arbalest one after another, and at the same time, the multi exploding bomb was fully materialized on Slade's palm. Slade took the opportunity to toss the bomb into the cannon's path, hoping that the cannon blast would drove the bomb towards the spikey.
"....would that even worked?" Kai wondered. Meanwhile Slade arrived at his partner location and guarded him as he made himself a meat shield for Arbalest.

"Heh...guess I didn't need to worry about you after all..." Slade smiled as he looked at Arbalest. Letting out a sigh of relief, Slade walked towrds the data left behind by the virii group and analyzed it. "It's Zenny" The blue Navi spoke, after a few seconds of scanning. Tossing half of the amount to Arbalest, Slade transferred the other half to Kai's Zenny Storage.
"Well, it seems like nothing here anymore..."
Kai agreed with his NetNavi's statement, the PET didn't show any sign of virii. "It seems so....but we need to delete those virus soon, or I'll never get inside the house before midnight." Kai seeked through his collection of chips and picked up another energybomb. "Sending energybomb...complete! Destroy the portal with it."
"Okay, but how about Arbalest, they can't get back to ACDC Net, this way.." Considering that maybe Arch and Arbalest came from ACDC Net, Slade hesitated whether they should destroy the portal or not.
"Yes, but they still can jack-out." Kai explained, but to be polite, he asked the opinion of the duo. "Umm Arch, Arbalest, destroying the portal might stop the virii from entering, but you won't be able to return to ACDC Net, is that okay?"
