Lately we've been very lax with warns. Several members have gotten away with being rude and offensive to an extent that would certainly have earned them a warn in the olden days.
This is at an end. I will personally warn any instances of unwarranted attacks or general poor conduct that I see, even if I wasn't online at the time, and I'd like other moderators to do the same. Some profanity and such is acceptable, but if a member asks you to tone it down and/or you recieve a verbal warning, do so immediately or you may risk a *double* warn.

What follows is a list of things that earn a warn. As you can all clearly see, we're a very liberal, peace-and-flowers community, except when it comes to people that we don't like, in which case we practice the time-honored conservative practice of beating the crap out of what we percieve as evil.
Repeated swearing
Blatant personal attacks
Malicious lying about another member
Ignoring a Mod request to tone down an argument
Insults on the basis of race, gender, orientation, religion, or, to some extent, nationality.
These are examples of warnable rudeness and are not the ONLY ways that you can earn a warn. Again, if you recieve only a verbal warning and ignore it, then you may be double warned.
