Appearance: Matt stands at around 6' 3" and has long, deep brown hair and eyes. Despite his age, he barely looks much older than twenty, which he puts down to an active lifestyle. His usual garb consists of a black shirt with gray lining and light-gray jeans, ripped at the knees. He also wears a pair of black sneakers with a trio of vertical orange stripes on each side, as well as a red belt with a steel buckle over his shirt, but he never ties it, instead leaving it to dangle. He also modified his shirt to have an orange line encircling his upper arms on both sides of the shirt. He also wears a red bandanna, although it's only seen when he removes his gray cap, modified again so the front 'panel' is red. He has a silver dog-tag around his neck which doubles as a portable Hard-drive. He also keeps his NetPolice ID in his shirt pocket.
Personality: Matt can be tactical at times, but mostly resorts to force when it comes down to tough battles, which suits Firewolf just fine. He has a strong sense of justice and will hunt down those who commit crimes as quickly as possible. He sometimes disagrees with Firewolf, but the two are inseparable buddies.

History
Early YearsAt first, Matt didn't have a NetNavi, though aspired to program them. Even as a child, he studied NetNavi programming through school, using a mass-produced commercial Navi at the time. Right up until the age of fourteen, Matt used the mass-produced model for Virus Busting class, as well as a general helper, but it never had the same attraction to him as other customized Navis. As a school project, Matt began programming Firewolf, using the mass-produced Navi as a base to work from, starting from the exterior model and working his way into the core programming from there. Slowly, Firewolf began to take shape, until eventually becoming the Firewolf he is today, albeit a rougher version.
Teenage YearsPleased with his success, Matt continued tweaking Firewolf after basic testing of his primary functions, refining his code and model data, until eventually becoming as refined as he could be at the time. Matt and Firewolf got together well, resulting in an unbreakable bond between the two. They picked up NetBattling as a hobby and soon, drunk on his success against his friends, they decided to scour the net for criminals and apprehend them. Impressively, they succeeded in bringing down a handful of lower criminals, though were thwarted during the appearance of the CyBeasts and the kidnapping of Dr. Infernos. Bruised, but not defeated, the pair trained and trained, before eventually applying for the NetPolice Academy.
NetPolice TrainingHaving been accepted into the NetPolice academy, Matt quickly turned to calming Firewolf's taste for fighting in an attempt to make the desk jobs easier. Upon completing his basic training at the age of 22, Matt and Firewolf were posted in the Public Relations division, resulting in a lot of paperwork, much to Firewolf's disdain. The two stuck at it for two years, being promoted to Internal Affairs, then another four years after that, before finally being promoted to Field work. Overjoyed, Matt and Firewolf sprung out, only to find their skills a little rusty. Beating a retreat, they decided to try somewhere that wasn't known for Virus activity.
Current DayCurrently, Matt has learned that his sister, Marie, has managed to procure a NetNavi called 'Shinokami', who speaks of an Operator who planned to hurt people's emotions using Shinokami himself as a conduit. However, Shinokami couldn't bring himself to do it and instead stuck with Marie, giving up all his data (Chips, etc) to Matt and Firewolf. Being promoted to field work, Matt and Firewolf once again took up NetBattling, aiming towards another promotion, as well as generally doing the right thing.
