Hacked military network

Flashing white light appears abaout the height of 7'. It moves down, and as it passes, Raider appears.

-I'm in. No sign of enemy activation
-Okay, just be careful. Remember, we need to find those virii, and eliminate them ASAP.
-Roger that.

-BATTLE 1-
-ROUTINE, SET-

((Good luck, no godmoding, and kick some butt!))

-I've got three bogeys in sight range at 12 o'clock
-Right, I think it's time to riddle some parasites! I'm sending you a shotgun.
-Good idea

Raider smiled as he unslinged his rifle. He watched how the chip changed it's shape.
The barrel became shorter and wider in order operate with a bigger caliber. Raider took a deep breath and then he raised the rifle, and pointed it at the virii.
"Clear the mind. Concentrate. Smite with the impulse of a snake, and the precission of an eagle"
After he fixed his sight on the nearest virus, he fired, and followed every single pellet's trajectory until they reached the target.

-No time to bugger around! Let's sweep them away with this cannon.

The rifle changed it's form again. The barrel became even shorter and wider, it looked much more like a mortar then a rifle.
"Never mind, he taught, "No time to hesitate" and raised his weapon again. The target was the second virus, and he pulled the trigger withot any procrastination.

-Okay, and now make the battlezone fizz! I think you know how to do it.
-No problem, leave it to me ...

Raider gathered his powers in his right hand, slammed the ground, and let the magnetic force gush forth. The air began to vibrate, as the electro-magnetic forces charged the ground. But he didn't allow the whole power to leak out. He concentrated on a certain ammount of energy, and forced it to take shape between him and the virii. A moment later, a sparkling, gloving, darkblue energy shield took form of a bent rectangle.

Raider takes down the first two viruses with ease. He then changes a portion of the field and encases himself in a barrier. The terrain doesn't reach out to the last virus, so it attacks the target navi with a shockwave from its pickaxe, shattering the barrier.

Terrain: 70% Normal, 30% Magnetic

Raider.exe: 100 HP (Magnetic)

-Nice shots! But that magnetic field was a bit weak. Maybe we should train more.
-I'll consider it. But we are in a middle of a battle, no time for chatting!
-Okay, okay, stay cool! I have a Rageclaw chip left, want to use it?
-No, thanks. Rageclaw is not my style. I's rather pierce a nice hole in between it's eyes.
-If you say so ...
-Trus me, I can handle it.

"Okay, I don't really like this distance. I need to get further."
Raider took some steps backwards, tried to take a position where the virus can't reach him without crossing the magnetic field.
"Allright. This virus is too tough for me to delete it with one shot, I need to soften up it a bit before smashing it"
He stopped, and raised his rifle again. It has already recovered it's original form, "No problem, It's much more handful in this shape", aimed at the third virus, and looked in the scope. As soon as the virus appeared in the cross-hair, he fired.
"Now I only have to wait a little, to let my rifle loose some heat, and then, I'm going to finish this, with one more shot"

Right, well, he fires, hits, and the Metool attacks with a shockwave, but Raider dodges while the narrator makes horrible run-on sentences.

Raider checked the heat level indicator, and smiled.
"Now it's time to end this match"
He looked at the virus, and raised his rifle, for the last time. He inserted the ammunition, and pointed at his target. He closed his eyes, and gatheres his powers.
The air became heavier. Sparks began to jump off the end of the barrel.
"This time that shot will crush through the enemy"
As the weapon got filled up by Raider's energy, he opened his eyes and turned on the laser aiming. A few second later the red dot stopped at it's favourite place: between the two eyes of the virus. He took a deep breath, and pulled the trigger.
There was a loud sonic bang as the sparkling bulled headed towards the virus faster than the sonic speed ...

Raider sat down for a minute, secured and checked his rifle. He cleaned the lens of the scope, checked the triggen and the firing mechanism, and changed the magazine.

-Nice work! Looks like we finished our work here.
-Are you sure? These virii are simply not enough for this mess. I think there is something more behind the scenes.
-More virii?
-That is one thing. I think you have spent some time vith these military anti-virus sytsems.
-Yeah. why?
-Do you really think that these Metool are enought to break in by themselves?
-Now, as you mentioned, it's strange. Maybe you're right. We should look around deeper in the system. <sigh> I knew this is gonna be troublesome ... And I'm hungry !!
-Man, you became soft ...
-Shut up! What about you? That magnetic field was pitiful, don't you think so?
-I keep my mouth shut, if you too
-Okay, we made a deal. Let's move in !!

Raider stood up, put his rifle on his shoulder, smiled and started walking.

-Yes, sir!

"This time, I'll show him who is the softer. And I'm sure that it is not me ... "

More viruses, little tougher, blah blah blah.

-COMMENCING BATTLE NO.2!-

-More virii in front of me ...
-Looks like you were right. Let's make them have some fun
-That's why we are here, no?
-Okay, okay stay focused. There are more than the last encounter, so make every shot precise.
-I'll do my best.

"If I can make a snap attack, I can make the two bunnies to be in my firing line"

-I've got an idea, send me a shotgun, and I'll show it to you!
-I can't wait to see it. Shotgun is on the move!

The rifle started gloving, and it changed it's form again. Raider inserted an ammo, filled with pellets. "I's time for hunting some rabbits"

Raider started running counter-clockwise, around the virii, keeping a fair distance between them, and as soon as futher bunny was behind the nearer one, he turned left, and pointed at them with the shotgun. "I was allways curious about how soft theese bunnies are. Well, this will turn out in a moment."
He locked the first bunny in the cross-hair, took a deep breath, and in the last moment, he made a correction on the aiming, in order to let the passing on pellets hit the other bunny.
"Perfect!"
Then he pulled the trigger.

After the shot, he kept on moving, paying attention to evade the attacks of the enemy.
-Dave, get ready! If I manage to get behind them there will be a big party!
-I'm ready, as allways!

Raider lines up the shot and takes down both Bunny in one strike. A met then send a shockwave at him, but he manages to dodge it.

After the pellets riddled the two bunnies:
-Ha-haa! Double kill !!
-Hey! There is still three targets left, have you forgotten?
-No, no! I'll take care of them ...

Raider stopped and looked at the virii.
"Three virii left. First, let's eliminate the Metools"
-Dave, I need a cannon!
-No problem, I've already prepared it.

The gun turned into a grenade launcher. At the bottom of it's massive barrel, a 60 mm AP grenade was waiting impatiently to tear up the enemy.

"Very efficient, but a bit brutal."
Raider looked at the Metool in the middle.
"You will be my target!"
He pointed at the virus with the grenade launcher, and considered, which trajectory would be the best. He made a little correction, took a deep breath, and then fired.

"And now the other one!"
As soon as the rifle regained it's original shape, Raider turned towards the last Metool, and let a bullet rush towards it's prey.
"I hope this will distract their attention for a while."

-Nice! Now get ready rev up things there, and evade their attacks!
-I know, and I'll do better this time ...

Raider gathered his energy, and concentrated it in his right hand. When the power reached a critical level, he slammed the ground, and unleashed the electro-magnetic forces. As the energy spreaded, the land began to change. The dust formed small spikes as the magnetic lines of force netted the ground. Then, the floor itself was charged up with Raider's electro-magnetic forces. Raider smiled,
"Perfect! This is much powerful than the last one. This is going to stuck them to the ground and deflect their attacks! And if anything comes through ...
and he pointed at the remaining virii with his hand. A second later, the magnetic forces began to bend, and the gloving energy shield tensed between Raider and the virii.
...this will stop it!"

One of the Metools gets blasted out of existance. The other eats the buster shot like a man, firing a shockwave that cancels out Raider's shield. The Spooky warps in and tries to smack Raider, but is sent off in another direction by the span of Magnetic panels under him!

-Whoa, I admit you are not hopeless. This time that magnetic field was better.
-What?? It was perfect! It did what it was created for.
-Okay, okay, forget it. We have two targets left.
-You're right ...

Dave was thinking for a moment.

-Listen, you should knock out the Spooky behind you and then take care of the Metool.
-Hmm, give me a sec ...

Raider looked behind, looked at the Spooky, and then he looked at the Metool.

-I don't think it's a good idea.
-Huh? Why?
-Looks like the Metool is unaffected by the magnetic field. But the Spooky's attack got deflected. We should use this benefit. While the Spooky is in my magnetic field, it is less dangerous than the Metool.
-And what about the Spooky? You gonna be in trouble, if the magnetic field cannot deflect it's attack again!
-I trust in my skills. That magnetic field won't let my down, I know!
-Okay, I get it now. Then eliminate the Metool! Do you need anythig?
-No thanks. I'll use my rifle again, but this time I'll finish it with one shot.
-Right. Fire at will!
-Yes, sir!

Raider smiled and he prepared his weapon for a powerful attack.
"I like this kind of fighting. One enemy, one shot."
This time he turned on the laser aiming, and took off the scope's cover. He began to stream his energy into the gun and focus it in the bullet. The air was sparkling and fizzing around, as the static forces charged up the weapon. When he finished empowering the bullet, he looked in the scope, and locked the cross-hair on the Metool.
"Target locked, firing at will. One more thing ..."

-Dave, left or right?
-Huh?
-Just pick one. Left of right?
-Umm, left?
Raider pulled the trigger. There was a loud screaming voice as the bullet was rushing where the laser guided it: straight towards the left eye of the Metool.

Raider charges up his gun and fires finishing off the met. The last virus then appears before him and gives him a lick accross the fresh. How.... friendly.

Raider took some steps behind, and mopped off some drool from his face.
-Aww, that is disgusting!
-What's the matter? You just got your face a bit drooly.
-Have you tried it? If not, then please keep your opinion in your head!
-Okay, okay, I keep my mouth shut.
-Thanks a lot ...

Raider looket at the Spooky.
"You'll regret it, I swear!"
He checked the magazine.
"Hmm, one more bullet left in this. That will be enough"
He fixed his sight on the virus, and locked out the enviromental stimuli. He raised his gun, and concentrated his powers into the barrel. When he was satisfied with the pent-up forces, the looked in the scope, and locked the cross-hair on the Spooky.
-You know, eye for an eye...
The laser was pointing exactly at the Spooky's forehead.
Raider took a deep breath and fired. The unfettered bullet was heading towards it's target in order to finish this fight...

Raider sat down for a moment, and started cleaning his rifle.
-Nice battle, but I've got bad news for you. We are running out of time.
-Really?
-Yeah. The main power supply shutted down, and the emergency power reserves are going to run out in twenty minutes.
-And then?
-Then the reactor looses it's cooling system. You know, because of the hacking, the reactor's control functions went crazy. The reactor is operating at 100% performance, and it cannot be shutted down.
-What a shame...
-So We need to finish this off quickly, or else...
-Okay, okay I undestand! If that's the situation, I'll go deeper in this mess...

Raider took a deep breath, stood up and then he started walking.
