Broadside enters the area via a Net-Link, bounced through Net-Square's Net-Hub, and materializes in his Mecha form from a beam of light. Once his form resolves, he begins to scan the area, searching for targets...
But before Broadside could take even his first step into the network, Jared spoke to him with words of caution: "This is my nation's network. It's not a place for weaker Navis. So stay alert, Broadside."
Broadside answered with a quick "Affirmative." before activating his enhanced dash functions, and sped off into the network... This will be a good opportunity to hone my skills before the mission.

Suiting actions to words, Broadside activated the Magnum, deploying the heavy chip cannon once again. He leveled the arm at the targets, bringing it up and into line, then deployed the energy collection pylons and started to gather a charge. As the charge began to build, the barrel of the weapon changed colors from a deep red, to a sun-fire orange, to a bright yellowish-white... Then it fired with an impressive thunderclap and accompanying muzzle-flash, issuing a high-velocity blast of flaming death towards the Gaia and Moloko Virii...
...The crater would be impressive.
...And Jared was not going to be happy about that.

Broadside blasted the 3 viruses, leaving a decently sized crater behind, much to Jared's initial dismay. However, upon reflection at the strength of the viruses Broadside was facing... Then again, this was justified. Gaias are a horribly strong family of virii. But.... I'm not telling HIM that. Jared decided to hold his peace about the collateral damage caused by his Navi... this time.
Meanwhile, Broadside had turned his attention to the Billys, and continued his attack. He activated the trio of Shotguns, loading their data into a long-barreled back-mounted cannon that came to rest upon Broadside's left shoulder... As the cannon deployed, Broadside activated his Ground Dash capability, and jetted away while keeping his weapons trained on the targets. The laser sight on the cannon blinked to life, and ranged on the first target... Then, it fired, sending a deadly hail of fletchettes at the first Billy. Broadside shifted his aim to the second Billy, and fired a second cloud of metallic pain at the electric virus. Once the two shots were away, he prepped his third shell, and waited for the results of his assault.
The survivors would be shot....

Broadside deactivates his Shield, which moves back to it's storage position... The cannon disarms and returns to its default position as well.

As Jared uploads the data, Broadside gains a new weapons delivery system: Missile Launchers. "There. Refresh your data, and the changes will be completely integrated."

Jared started slotting in chips the moment the viruses appeared on the screen while he spoke: "This could get ugly... I'm sending chip data." Broadside was already moving to engage the enemy before the last chip was slotted, and responded "Acknowledged. Much Appreciated."

Broadside defends against the barrage of Boomerangs, the shield taking hit after hit after hit, finally shutting down and moving back to it's storage position... This did not bode well, as the foes were all Wood Element to Broadside's Elec Element... However, the battle had to be fought now, as turning tail and retreating would result in being cut down before managing to travel so much as a few yards distant...
This wasn't going to be pretty... And Broadside knew it.

Jared slotted in two more chips: A Magbolt1 and a Guard1, as he spoke, "The odds are stacked against you, so use these and change tactics." Broadside responded absently "Affirmative."
As the new data arrived, Broadside immediately started to put it to work in a bid to survive the next few seconds... He turned his torso to the side, presenting his right arm (his Gigas Arm) to the enemy, and activated the Magbolt1. A huge U-shaped magnet appeared, with a handle-grip and trigger attached to the back, grasped in Broadside's hand. He pointed the weapon at the nearest BoomerEX, and pulled the trigger, causing the electro-magnet to power-on, pulling at the virus... The magnet made contact, and discharged an intense electro-static shock...
With that out of the way, Broadside brought his arm around, dropping the Magbolt1, and activated his Guard1. A shield appeared on his fore-arm and covered a sizeable portion of his profile from attack. It was not quite as large as his Tower Shield, but still better than noting, given the situation. At this point, I'm not going to be choosy.
While Broadside raised his defense, he started strobing Fire Control and Targeting radar over the heavily wounded BoomerEX... "Tracking..." On Broadside's left torso and right torso, a pair of thick armor plates separated from his body with a hydraulic sigh, then split... The two halves swung up and away, revealing a pair of missile batteries loaded with line after line of warheads stacked in a formidable array of ranged firepower... Broadside's fire control stopped beeping and issued a flat-buzz... "Hard-Lock!" At the word "Fire!" a swarm of missiles erupted from the launchers, in-sequence, forming an angry cloud of con-trails... The 12 smart projectiles immediately started maneuvering to achieve maximum destructive effect, each seeking a different angle of attack, leaving the target with nowhere to run. They executed their terminal attack runs, arcing in towards the target, and exploded; completely enveloping the BoomerEX in overlapping spheres of plasma explosions...
Broadside didn't wait for the "smoke to clear" from his last attack, and activated his Ground Dash function. He began to jet along the ground at high-speed, attempting to evade the remaining virii's attacks.

The boomer is dragged forward by the Magbolt and smashed to bits. A missle then crashes into another virus. Broadside tries to dodge, but the guard slows him down a bit. A boomer attacks, but is reflected.

As Broadside deflected the incoming attack, Jared practically cheered, "Alright, now finish them off." Broadside didn't respond to Jared verbally, but he did respond by re-activating his Tower Shield. The massive wall of steel swung into place and deployed the armored extension plates, easily providing cover against most attacks. The generator spun-up, projecting an electromagnetic barrier over the surface of the shield, producing a faint glow...
With the shield deployed once again, Broadside launched one of the Hunter/Killers, armed with a DBLBeam... As it left the hangar, it took off for the heavens, far out of range of most normal attacks. At an altitude of 1200 feet above the battle, it canted forward and selected its target. The front section of the Bit split into four, and began charging the beam... It locked on, finished charging, and fired...

As both virii disintegrate into data fragments, Broadside gathers up the remaining data and sends it to the PET. He deactivates his active weapons, sending them into their storage positions once again... "Alright, that's enough for now. We need better chips before tackling this area again. Jack-out."
