Name: Suien Matsumoto
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Appearance:

A healthy young man fresh out of a top Sharo University, Suien Matsumoto appears to be, for all intents and purposes, your average college graduate. A computer science major of Electopian descent, he sports dark black hair, a pair of small round glasses, and a slim physique. While he's no athlete by any stretch of the imagination, however, Suien certainly defies the computer geek stereotype, appearing for all intents and purposes as a physically fit, if somewhat thin individual. His dark brown eyes shine with a sharp intelligence, portals into a world of understanding beyond the comprehension of ordinary individuals. Having recently moved to Electopia, he is currently unemployed and looking for a job that can utilize his talents at programming and critical thought.

Personality: At first glance, Suien appears to be a cynical prick, highly suspicious of government and authority as a whole — fully understandable given his upbringing in a radically liberal household. He is also very critical of others and their plans, which gives him the appearance of a lazy complainer and a terrible pessimist. A deeper look within Suien's psyche, however, reveals several qualities that counteract this image. His determination to acquire the tools to outsmart, outwit, and outthink the opposition is strong, and this drive serves as a powerful motivator to getting the job done and doing it right. Additionally, he is a philanthropist at heart, willing to go most any distance — provided the plan itself is sound — to provide for the welfare of the people as a whole. A true revolutionary spirit rests in the heart of this jaded cynic that unfortunately, few people ever see.

PET Modifications: Suien's PET is almost as unusual as the navi that inhabits it. Unlike the small, compact PET units that are popular with college students of the modern era, Suien carries a larger model that resembles a black version of the original, first-gen PET units, complete with a handle and jack-in cable. However, a closer examination reveals that the device is more technologically advanced than one would be led to believe.

Every aspect of Suien's PET is designed to monitor the complex workings of the R.A.S.S. First and foremost, the PET has two screens on the front panel that serve a variety of uses. The default setting is for the topmost screen to serve as a battle monitor while the bottom displays vital changes within Rass' circuitry. However, the screens can be configured to display almost anything from enemy data to area maps to internet search results. The PET also contains a small stand that allows Suien to sit at a desk while using it — a function made more convenient by the fold-out keyboard that extends from the handle. Finally, an expanded memory capacity allows audio manifestations of electronic brain waves to be transmitted through the speakers — a function that is very important when monitoring a navi that hears voices in his head.
