Monstrous Lessons

Asymptote's first reaction upon taking in the dangerous-seeming cul-de-sac was to get fancy, more or less. As he formed his new armour, however, the Scarecrow called down a lightning bolt of its own and channelled it outwards towards him. By luck, the rubbery casing just managed to seal up as the bolt hit him, arcing in a blistering charge that coursed over his form and down through the panels under his feet. The smell of melting rubber intensified as the new layer of protection was bubbled away again almost instantly, although it had certainly done its job.

Behind him, Asymptote heard a worried bubbling sound as the two Larks frantically swerved aside to avoid the piercing lightning blast as it carried on through Asymptote and back down the path. The pair seemed quite shocked. This ambush wasn't going as expected at all.

The Billy finished charging up and launched another pair of bolts up to the Tesla coils nearby. The streams arced out and down again, striking towards Asymptote, but one of them blasted into the panels in front of him. The other connected while he prepared his own attack, a shuddering zap that stung more than it ought to have as his body conducted the current downward.

Seeing its chance, the Eleball rushed forward toward the hulking navi, but Asymptote was quicker; his three charged cables lashed out, skewering both Larks before they could react further, and pinning down the swift ball of energy in a shower of sparks that removed it from the net. Not slowing down, the navi began to run, lumbering in closer to deliver the odd-looking mortar round to both the Billy and the Scarecrow, while they were recovering from their own attacks. The initial thump of the blast gave way to the faint scent of popcorn and an otherwise cleared field.

Open GMD?
Asymptote breathed a sigh of relief, his body slightly singed from the attacks, his armor scattered across the field from the Scarecrow's attack. The burning smell of extra burned fish and melted rubber filling the air making him wish for the ability to turn off his ability to smell, waving his hand in front of his face to waft the air away from his senses. But he began to absorb the zenny and bugfrag data from the field, he lumbered his way over towards the GMD he had glanced at while running to re-position himself, reaching around the tesla coil and picking up the GMD. Thinking for a moment if he wanted to open this and risk a Mimic...he sighed and shook his head. He didn't want to use the last of their untraps just yet and decided to take the chance, beginning to send data through the crystalline data chest and attempted to open it up without untrapping it.

(Open GMD without untrap)
After obliterating the battlefield of all viruses in a single swoop, Asymptote approached the emerald data crystal, debating on whether he wanted to risk it without an Untrap program. In the end, he decided to throw caution to the wind, and began decrypting it... after which it split open into four, revealing a sizable cache of zenny!

[GMD: 2500z]
Asymptote breathed a sigh of relief, grabbing the zenny in his hand and downloading it to Joseph. The gamble paid off, not that he wouldn't have been able to handle whatever a Mimic could dish out, he was just annoyed of them near constantly appearing in his first handful of battles. Turning around to leave the dead end field and lumbered off towards another field of battle. He knew he had a lot to show, and he hoped his students were taking notes and talking about how to better themselves.

(Battle 3, 170 HP, Billy Bounty)
Pondering his current good fortune, as compared to her earlier streak, Asymptote wandered on through the network, eventually arriving at an odd section that looked to be part open park and part art installation. The ground was mostly flat and smooth, solid metal, but ahead of him a graceful glass bridge rose in an arch, crossing over the stylised etching of a river. In the space where the river was drawn, a handful of glowing solar lily pads were scattered about. It didn't seem to serve any purpose, and there wasn't much to stop Asymptote from simply walking on through – the river wasn't real, and was just marked onto the expanse of metal panels.

Well, there were few things that might impede him slightly. On one lily pad, another Billy virus was clicking its prongs together and generating sparks as it watched him approach. On the other side, a complicated looking satellite was resting on another of the solar pads, and began to light up and activate at the navi's approach. Atop the centre of the curving glass bridge, a windbox was blowing across ways to the bride, and seemed to be generating a constant gentle drifting swirl of pink petals in the air – along with an uncharacteristically staunch breeze.

At the foot of the bridge, directly in front of Asymptote, two Progs waited, dressed up mostly like attendants, however, one was missing an eye, and an ear, and it sparked violently. The other had lost an arm, and its body twitched back and forth in small, jerky shudders. A third prog seemed to be huddled under the bridge, hunched on itself and peeking out – it also showed signs of damage.

“WELCOME!” One barked at him, raising its good arm. Sparks crackled. “NAVIS ARE ADVISED THAT THEY ARE — VIRUSES IN THE AREA!!” It moved towards him slightly, reaching forward with its arm as more sparks grew. The other prog twitched and a gout of sparks shot up from a joint at its neck.

“ALL — VIRUS ACTIVITY — IS PERMITTED TO — ASSIST NAVIGATORS VISITING THE FEATURE!” Sparks and crackles broke up its speech, distorting whatever the original message had been. “PLEASE BE — DELETED TO ENSURE SAFETY OF — VIRUSES IN THE AREA!!” It also began to move towards Asymptote in a dangerously helpful manner.

Area: Netopia, Sharo, NAXA

HP: 100
Primary Attack Damage/Effect: Trap(Enemy in Targeting Cursor) + Seeking: Movement (High-Alt) + Dodge + Lock-On + Nullify Invis
Primary Attack Accuracy: C
Primary Attack Description: Generates a targeting cursor that sweeps back and forth across the field, looking for a target. The cursor ignores decoys, objects, illusions, and invisibility. If the cursor intersects with an actual enemy, Lock-On is achieved, and the virus launches itself into the sky at High Altitude.
Secondary Attack Attack Damage/Effect: (3 Null + Seeking + Enhanced Accuracy) x 10 Shots
Secondary Attack Attack Accuracy: A
Secondary Attack Attack Description: When Lock-On is achieved, this virus fires a barrage of 10 highly accurate shots at its chosen target before landing in its original position. Accuracy debuffs on the Satellite while using this attack are reduced in severity by one rank.
Element: Null
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Lock-On1, Zenny
Special: Immobile outside of its primary attack.
Special: This virus will repeat its primary attack until it finds a target, after which it will be able to use its secondary attack once. When it changes targets, either of its own volition or its current target's death, or uses its Secondary Attack and lands in its original position, it must repeat its primary attack until it finds a new target.
Notes: Triggering invisibility or an illusion, or moving the Satellite forcefully after Lock-On is achieved does not allow a target to escape Lock-On. Lock-On is a shift in the Satellite's state, not a status inflicted on its target, and thus cannot be removed.

Bonuses and penalties do not stack if multiples of the same virus family exist on the field. Wind and Fan do not push or pull Objects, only creatures.

Area: SciLab, Yoka, Beach, Sharo, Netfrica, Hades Isle

HP: 100
Attack Damage/Effect: Wind Effect, Northwind
Attack Accuracy: S
Attack Description: Causes a large scale gale of wind to blow across the entire field in the direction the virus is facing. This gale will constantly move all targets this virus considers to be enemies in the direction the wind is blowing, which makes it difficult to land many kinds of attacks on it and allied viruses, such as thrown attacks and close ranged attacks. All those affected by the wind will also have their barriers and auras blown off by a constant Northwind effect.
Element: None
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Wind, Zenny
Special: Causes short ranged attacks, such as (but not limited to) swords, melee attacks, and flame thrower style weapons, to suffer from a 30% accuracy penalty against targets they are being pushed away from. Both sides of the engagement suffer a 30% accuracy penalty with direct attacks perpendicular to the direction of the wind, and all thrown attacks.
Special: Those allied with this virus may opt to take advantage of the wind to increase movement speed or evasion by going with the wind. They do not suffer any penalties, however. Conversely, anyone may move along with the wind to increase accuracy by 10% for close ranged attacks, assuming the target is in that direction.

-=Battle 3, Start!=-
Asymptote walked onto the glass bridge, feeling solid enough for even his body to sustain. A few steps up the bridge...a strong breeze...no, it was more than that. It was actively beginning to push him back as he approached, a Windbox virus right at the middle of the bridge, several damaged and virus-like programs beginning to approach him from either side, a billy clacking it's prongs on a pad of solar panels...and a satellite...it was pointing it's guns right at him, and he didn't like it. Those programs continued to make their approach, he instinctively began to back away...he wanted to get away, retreat to a safe distance and fight back from afar...but with the wind blowing into his face, he realized real quickly that would not be a viable way to fight back. The wind would knock his attacks back, out of the air, even into him if he didn't aim correctly...then a spark of intelligence connected in his mind for a brief moment.

Joseph, RemoteBit. I have an idea to remove that Windbox. Asymptote spoke, simply looking at the field in front of him, if he couldn't attack it from the front and likely the sides, then he'd go above the Windbox and attack it where it couldn't turn. He'd have to stay on the defensive for a few moments, probably get out of the way for a few moments...but he could at least get rid of the Windbox and make cleaning up a bit easier to deal with.

With a click, Asymptote received the data and he slammed his fist down on the glass bridge, spider-web like cracks across the surface of the glass as it reflected back into Asymptote. A bright light beginning to shine across the panel he had struck, before long a small control panel began to grow out of and around the surrounding panels in front of Asymptote...with a small, scarred Twisty virus in the middle of it, beginning to push buttons, pull leavers and most importantly...summoning a UFO next to it. The small patchwork toy beginning to hover up and above the glass panels it had been summoned upon, slowly rising to a respectable height as it zipped away for a moment, looking to get into a proper area to attack from. All the while, Asymptote had taken off from his position, he wanted to get out of the way for what was about to happen, and locking eyes with one of the nearby "Lilly Pads" across the river of metal panels, Asymptote would do his best to rush his massive body towards it, he didn't need to stay long, thankfully, but he wanted a line of sight with the Satellite virus.

Whilst Asymptote had moved, the Twisty had began it's plan to assault the Windbox virus from up high, as Asymptote mentally transferred co-ordinates to it's screens and panels, as well as an extra helping of power that had been stored up for just such an occasion. The little Twisty would work against those nobs and leavers, sending the transferred power to it's weapon, it began to float above the Windbox, a small shadow over the top of the wind blowing menace as the toy UFO would pull out a small spike and two conductors from either side of it's body. Charging up it's attack, the UFO's spike grew increasingly bright as electrical energy transferred to it, falling down from the skies as it attempted to impale the virus from above, a secondary electrical shock rocketing through the spike down beneath the panel.

Alright Joseph, I want our Fire+20 and Guard1, the kids are gonna know how a Variable navi can work! Asymptote spoke again, getting his chips as Joseph began to speak to his students. Asymptote, closing his eyes and opening his mouth, he began to channel the power of the supportive chip into his mouth, turning towards the Satellite that idled atop another lillypad nearby. A fire burning within his mouth, he hawked out a large ball of fire and electricity in it's direction. Which, upon it's likely connection with the virus, a strong EMP-like pulse would rocket through it's entire form, likely completely disabling the virus' ability to fight back against the monstrous navi and his summoned help. And right after, standing his ground firm, he summoned a shield upon his arm, an electrical pulse beginning to conduct through the strong Met-Metal, ready for counterattack.

Seeing that the art installation was clearly not very well-attended at the moment, Asymptote started to retreat from the collection of viruses to try to fight them off from afar, but the blustering winds from the WindBox made him rethink his strategy. His body patched itself up as he came upon an idea. (+15) Taking the one angle that the WindBox couldn't turn to, he summoned the RemoteBit by smashing his fist into the glass paneling. A spiky-haired Twisty rose from the cracks, and it summoned a small UFO and directed it towards Asymptote's primary target, while the hulking Navi himself relocated to one of the faux lilypads that spread throughout the area. Two of the Progs near him immediately sparked with a small ring of electrical arcs around their bodies as he passed.

"PLEASE BE WARY OF — MOVEMENT."
"DO — PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES."

One of them grazed its faulty discharge against his arm as he passed (-20). Fortunately, he managed to avoid the other's electrical mayhem with his quick movement, which also allowed him to skirt by the scanning laser that the Satellite had begun to put out. Meanwhile, the Twisty that he had summoned earlier received its orders from its master to fire down on the WindBox. The electrical strike impaled the fan virus with impunity, shattering the glass paneling underneath. Underneath the bridge, a Prog that seemed to have been hiding vibrated erratically as it was showered with stray glass shards.

"P-P-PLEASE REFRAIN FROM VANDAL — VANDAL — VIRUSES."

However, it didn't seem to be doing much at the moment to pursue Asymptote himself. Bright yellow electrical sparks began to snake across its dark green body, as if it was overflowing with energy. Another virus from the other end of the bridge didn't seem to have much qualms in that matter, however, as it charged up a Thunderball between its pronged limbs. Meanwhile, Asymptote was focusing more on a Satellite on his end of the bridge, firing a burst of heat and sparks towards it. The attack connected, but it didn't seem to affect the virus with any kind of damage. Instead, a long belt of ammunition started to spill out of its side, rolling onto the glowing lily pad that it was sitting on, most likely disabling its ability to deal any damage henceforth. Afterwards, the Thunderball that the Billy was charging was complete, and rolled towards Asymptote at a snail's pace. In fact, it was so slow that it seemed to have missed his position entirely on the first pass, but was slowly turning back towards him.

Special: Northwind effect to all enemies once per virus action while maintaining wind effect.

(Asymptote): 100HP (2 turns remaining) [Glass][South end of the bridge]
Asymptote grumbled as he had been hit by the waves of revolving electricity from the program, a sear on his arm as he had ran headlong through them. But otherwise his plan had gone off without a hitch, the Windbox lying in ruins as well as the Satellite being unable to fight back against Asymptote now, he had four other targets that needed to be taken out now. Sadly, he had a ball of electricity coming back after him and he was unsure how well he'd fair after getting a bunch of pins and needles all across his body. He still had the electrified shield on his arm, electrical sparks trailing down his body as they repaired most of the damage dealt to him from his mad dash. His body shuddering as he quickly figured which chips he wanted.

Joseph, send me the ThunderBeam and MeteorKnuckle. I can leave the Billy to our Twisty friend. Asymptote asked, he was quickly given the chips, his netop keeping an eye on the class outside, he wasn't in as much a position to be conversing.

With a sigh, Asymptote received the chip data as he began to charge up his generator with electrical power, a blue hue beginning to light up from his back as he turned his head towards the electrical ball headed back to him, he began to lumber towards the Satellite as fast as he could, he wanted to avoid it and get a bit more distance from the trio of darkprogs that he had his eyes on, his feet stomping harshly against the ground as he tried to get away from the quartet of threats.

Meanwhile, his Twisty buddy was reorienting it's self, turning it's small control tower around towards the Billy, eyeing it with a harsh glare on it's face, the Twisty began to work it's little UFO. Click, clack and crank as it hammered button after button, lifted switch after switch and eventually it's UFO hovered just above the rounded electrical menace, it's shadow just barely covering the top of the Billy's head. A rumble and a clash of metal inside the UFO as a small hatch opened up from beneath the flying saucer, a small yellow hand on a long pole began to extend from within the plate. A moment passed before a comically huge gun materialized in the small hand, pointed directly above the Billy's head, the gun clicked, the trigger pulled, and with it a massive zapping sound alongside a blast of electrical energy pointed right at the poor target. Panel crackling from the sheer amount of volts sent down at it and the virus, color fading away as it began to crack and break across it's surface.

Asymptote finally came to a screeching halt on the paneling, turning around to the three corrupted programs in his sights as he began to take his precautions, take a moment to calculate movements and predict where the trio of viruses would move...a green glow behind his eyes as he began to upload the data into his systems. Hair sparking and crackling with energy as he held out his arms to either side of him, a freakish grin on his animatronic face, arms beginning to channel the electricity he was generating into his hands, a soft orange glow from wrist to fingertip. Swiftly bringing his hands together, he made a clap of thunderous proportions, three crackling beams of energy sent flying from his hands, the trio of bolts would fly swiftly from Asymptote towards the trio of Darkprogs that continued to chase after him, their broken voices soon to be silenced as a mercy by the thunderous navi.

And soon, Asymptote turned to the Satellite he had turned his back upon. His fists beginning to charge and crackle with energy all over again, his grin not fading from his face, he clenched his fists, and began to swing at the air like a boxer fighting with his shadow. Fist flying through the air without hitting anything. Slowly but surely his punches began to increase in speed and intensity, his fists flying through the air faster and faster as he began to blur his fists across the air. He would pull his arms back before finally punching at the air a few more times, his electrified fists crackling and sparking through the air like before...until he stopped and three perfect copies of his fists hung in the air, floating seemingly on their own power or through his own force of will. Waving his hand across the backs of them, the fists began to fly through the air rapidly towards the defenseless virus, all in a line to delete it with a one-two-three punch. Asymptote would quickly turn around and raise his shield up, kneeling down on the ground to try his hand at blocking any wayward attacks sent his way had he missed in any way.

and hunker down (Imbued Elec element)
Undeterred by the electrical attack he had sustained, Asymptote was looking on the brighter side of things; the Windbox that was hampering his movement previously was now wiped away, allowing him to focus his efforts on the remaining enemies. As the Satellite's scanning reticule swept the area near his faux lilypad, he patched up his small injury (+15) and darted closer into range to avoid the laser targeting. At the same time, the Billy's Thunderball fizzled out as he passed by it, and the spike-limbed virus that made it began to form a new one to replace it. However, it was preempted by the Twisty's remotely-controlled aliencraft hovering over its head and caving its head in with an impactful thunderbolt.

With the Billy being nothing more than a hole in the art installation, Asymptote himself was now free to use the ThunderBeam chip in his possession to clap out the corrupted Progs out of existence. The beams of electrical energy wrapped the broken green guys in a brilliant lightshow. "T-T-TH..." "THANK YOU..." "FOR COMING!" stuttered out the three Progs, before exploding into junk data. The sole remaining Satellite, now completely disarmed, was subject to Asymptote's final attack: a hail of projected multiplications of his fists, raining down on it and beating it into an unrecognizable pile of metal.

-=Battle 3, Victory!!=-
Rewards: 1320z, 23 BugFrags, +1 Billy Bounty
Asymptote would sigh out peacefully, the navi raking in the cash before long as he took a breather, children's voices ringing out in the background as they began to formulate plans, trading battle chips, buying them, all manner of thing as they learned, explored and readied themselves for going out busting in earnest, despite the potential risks. As his twisty minion dissipated away to take a nap or whatever battle chip summoned viruses did between battles, Asymptote got back onto his feet and meandered out further into the reaches of Electown's Network.

(Battle 4, Billy Bounty, 180 HP)
With the last of the viruses vanishing into junk data, Asymptote proceeded further past the bridge into the network, looking out for more viral infestations to clear out. His travels brought him to a brightly lit area that appeared to be reserved for advertisements. Holographic screens scrolled across the sides of the walkway, advertising products targeted towards Navis and humans alike, with another line bisecting the middle of the walkway as well, marking it as a two-way road. The bases of the holographic screens were magnetized, presumably to keep vandals at bay.

However, as he soon discovered, it wasn't quite enough to keep wayward viruses away. In front of him, a Scarecrow watched a pair of NeoMetools shoot some pellet bullets at some of the holoscreens, to little effect. Under one of the holoscreens, another one directed a nearby MagTect to fire its horseshoe magnets under the screens, causing them to be flicker in and out and the images on them to quickly corrupt into unrecognizable garbled messes. On the other half of the walkway, a Billy directed a Twisty next to it to fire out lightning from its remote-controlled flying saucer, quickly destroying parts of the holoscreen strip.

Scarecrow attack every action, if able. Every time they attack, they recover HP equal to their attack power regardless of whether or not they hit anything. This virus type also has the rare ability to absorb Elec element damage as healing for the same amount. They are immune to any status effects associated with Elec element damage/attacks. Scarecrows are anchored to the ground, and thus enjoy the effects of SuperArmor. Scarecrow are never encountered underground or indoors.

-- Battle 4 Ready? Start!! --
Asymptote continued to meander his way out onto the town's networks, soon stopping his way across it...coming across an assortment of viruses. Two Metools, Scarecrows, a Magtect and his quarry. He quickly set out to make sure he could avoid damage as much as possible...alongside his unyielding refusal to leave them to what they were doing. All the while an advertisement, likely for a restaurant, scrolled across his field of view with "Eat At Dick's" scrolled by before one of the MagTect's magnets stuck to the ad and garbling the message on contact. Causing a light chuckle from Asymptote before clearing his throat, he began to scroll through his and Joseph's folder, soon coming across two chips he had yet to see (and an intermittent grumble as he saw their battle-earned zenny nearly bottom out between his fights, he'd have a talk later about Joseph's chip buying habits).

Joseph. Send me these two chips you bought with our money. We're having a talk later about this. Also kids, remember to BUY UPGRADES to keep your partner(s) strong. Unlike my chip-obsessed netop here. Asymptote spoke, simply and bluntly. Joseph buried his face into his hand and shook his head as he began to go through his folder. We'll talk later when we're alone, Aymptote. Now what chips do you want? Joseph sighed, he needed to keep a better hold of his money he guessed. The new ones, gonna give them a shot I suppose. He responded quickly, figuring what he needed to do next.

The navi, wasting no time waiting on his netop, would quickly move from his current position, wishing to get off the conductive material, he could feel the electricity in the air as he stomped his way towards the right of the walkway, knowing full well he was better off than standing his ground on the metal. His feet stomping towards his chosen position, he heard the first click, and slid to a quick stop, turning towards the left walkway's paths, he held his hands up into the air and clapped them down upon the ground, metal and wires beginning to form in front of him, a much more sturdy weapon beginning to form upwards, the shape of a flamethrower beginning to slowly form out of the shiny metal and wiring as he kneeled down.

Picking up the weapon as his eyes began to glow, turning his upper body towards the viruses, a few steps backwards to try and get enough clearance before anything would move in front of him, the sleek metal weaponry flickering red for a moment as he pulled the trigger. A second later, a great stream of flame belched forth from the mouth of his weapon, flames licking across the terrain in a linear motion, diagonally aimed towards the viruses of the left. But as the flames licked across the metallic panels, a strange interaction for Asymptote occurred, as his flamethrower had hit the 100+ damage threshold...metal began to melt across the board with every panel the flames licked across, metal super heated into useless slag began to recombine themselves, heated vents slowly forming and blowing hot air upwards into the air, and while it didn't activate while his flames transformed the panels, Asymptote figured they could spread the heat of fire attacks across themselves.

Dropping the now empty flamethrower to the ground, data scattering across his feet, Asymptote began to grunt out audibly. His generator glowing a bright blue as he began to supercharge it, tendrils beginning to wriggle about in the air as he generated his own electrical field. Slowly but surely, flickering to life around him, a barrier of super conduction began to form about his form, ready to stave off attacks from the viruses as he readied his next attack, the hairs on his head standing up on end from the conduction he had created.

Finally, summoning the last chip he had been given, Asymptote slammed his hands flat on the ground. Before long...a grass covered clay pot began to slowly form in front of him, within a pair of emerald green eyes staring back into the monster's bloody reds as the creature within began to pull it's self out. A small, almost baby-like dragon began to climb out of the pot of grass and earth. Smaller than one of the monster's hands, the creature covered in emerald green scales just like it's irises, it shook it's self out, wings unfurling from it's body with a mighty yawn and growl. Asymptote chuckled to himself as he pointed down the right path of normal panels, a pair of viruses resting upon them, likely in the middle of attack as Asymptote summoned his pot dragon to attack. Go down that path and attack those viruses, if you have time, try to circle back around and attack the ones on the middle path. You understand? The monster asked, telling his plan of attack to the tiny baby dragon. Much to his surprise, the young dragon understood this, turning towards the viruses with a mighty "squeak" as it flapped it's wings rapidly, taking off from the panel it had landed upon and in it's wake, grass panels began to sprout up in it's wake, each panel it traveled over grass took over and overwrit everything from glass and advert to a spring dusting of green grass. Squeaking out again, it blew out a heavy emerald green flame as it passed the viruses it was instructed to attack on it's way, Asymptote would watch it attack, hoping it had enough time in battle to circle around and attack the middle path's viruses. All the while, his electrical generator sparked and sputtered, healing jolts of electricity beginning to cover his large form in an attempt to heal the mammoth brute.

Wasting no time in getting off of the metallic part of the walkway, Asymptote managed to find the time to educate some children offscreen about the importance of Navi upgrades, while the viruses started to fire attacks in his direction. The first of the four to react were the Scarecrows, as bolts of lightning struck both of them, redirecting them towards his enormous body. Fortunately, only one of them struck as he crossed the threshold between the two halves of the walkway. (-20) He retaliated swiftly with a flamethrower that he summoned from the ground, lifting it up to spit out a gout of fire that blanketed three of the viruses to cook them to a crisp. The MagTect's horseshoe-shaped head turned his way soon after, pulling him in to contact with its electrified poles.

Thankfully, he managed to charge up his own electrical field to nullify the damage it would deal to him, though it still made his body twitch in response. (Stun!) The clay pot that sprouted in front of him soon after responded well to the attack, spawning a rather unassuming-looking drake. Its size betrayed its power, however, as it went ravaging down the metallic pathway, transforming the paneling behind it into lush grass. The attack struck two of the viruses and deleted them instantly on contact, leaving only the Scarecrow and Magtect in the middle pathway. The damage that he took earlier from the Scarecrow was also rapidly being repaired, leaving only minor scratches. (+15)

Asymptote's body twitched and pulsed, pins and needles attacking his body from all manner of ways as he felt the electrical clamp go through his shield, but regardless, his plan worked for the most part, sadly his dragon disappeared before it could curve around to attack the viruses on the middle section but that was par for the course with his luck. Asymptote sighed out as he began to shake off the paralysis, his body still tingling as he did so, the monstrous navi beginning to feel the feeling back in his body outside of just pins and needles. Hey, Joseph. Send me the Crackerbombs we have. I got an idea. Asymptote spoke after a moment. You're not about to blow yourself up, are you? Joseph asked incredulously as he slotted in the chips to his net navi.

Asymptote rolled his eyes in annoyed fashion as his body crackled with energy, his body slowly covering it's self in a shiny mixture of rubber and metal wires as his own wires began to fall off like giant black noodles. Slithering across his body and beginning to harden around the monster's body unbeknownst to his netop's sight as he began to materialize the bombs into both of his hands, his eyes glowing a brief green as he spoke again. Pffft. What do you take me for, A terrorist? Asymptote scoffed as he began to fill one of the bombs with a little added kick to make sure the MagTect couldn't avoid being exploded if it hadn't moved away by now. Yes? Joseph responded, raising an eyebrow before noticing a little black in the corner of the screen he had been projecting the battles onto. Close your eyes kids, this is going to be bright and I REALLY don't want to be sued for damaging anyone's eyesight. Joseph spoke with a loud sigh afterwards, burying his face in his hand and rubbing his temples as he knew exactly what his net navi was about to do. Oh Joseph, so distrustful...AND FOR GOOD REASON! Asymptote spoke quickly before letting out a high pitched cackling, smashing the two small bombs onto the ground in front of him, a bright, loud and very, VERY, unnecessary explosion rocketing out from the impact point, the navi and both viruses disappearing into a pitch white void as Joseph shook his head slowly side to side as the sound of panels cracking and breaking apart as all anyone could do...was wait for the explosion to finish and see if Joseph even had a netnavi remaining after this.

The attack resulted in a rather unnecessarily flashy explosion, with nothing but a hole in the ground left to their name.
