Jellifishes taste salty.

Briefly incapacitated by the terrible sound, Critias struggled to keep sense of the world around him fora few moments, writhing in discomfort. Even his reflexive defences seemed to falter a little in his physical distress, and his barrier flickered and fizzled. at least the hardening of his scales seemed to take.

Just in time as well, because even though the Tuby seemed to run out of puff, panting silently for a while after its last note ran down, the tank lobbed another shell, which he managed just to roll out of the way of, before the large jelly dropped back to the mud with a splash and pumped out a massive wave of sludge that washed over him thoroughly. The bat navi took no real harm from the wash of mud, thanks to his earlier protection, but it still seemed a bit gross. Finally able to pick himself with the racket from the Tuby subsided, he was able to see the nautilus sending another water column in his direction as well, though to his fortune its aim was off; Critias certainly wouldn't have had the wherewithal to dodge it if it had been on target. The Tuby was still panting, though it looked to have recovered its breath mostly — Critias could guess he probably had a precious few seconds of normal volume to get rid of it before it started blaring again.

EarthJellyEarthJelly (EarthJelly)

EarthJelly are floating, jellyfish-like viruses, that seem to simply float nonchalantly, yet are deceptively difficult to combat. Fortunately, their rarity ensures they they never appear before a Battle 6, and there are never more than 2 in a single battle. While their horizontal movement is terrible at best, they can easily adjust their altitude as needed. By default, however, they tend to hover a couple of feet above the ground. The exception to this is when they attack. EarthJelly attack by launching large waves of mud at enemies The attack cycle of EarthJelly is 2 actions long. It requires one action to charge before firing. If they are stunned or otherwise temporarily disabled, they resume their attack cycle where it was halted once the stun wears off. When they attack, they drop to the ground in order to pump out as much liquid as possible. This allows them to harness the power of certain kinds of terrain to boost their attacks, but it also makes them immobile and vulnerable to ground-based attacks for the duration.

Now he was mad. Now he was hella mad. Dirty too. The wyvern jumped out of the mud, high on adrenaline, splattering it everywhere as he recklessly pounced at the Tuby with full intention of snapping the little fucker in half. Throwing his entire 8ft tall body at the trumpeting virus he began clawing at everything in his field of view, regardless of what it was. With a little help of a chip, Critias' paws sprouted energetic claws of a dark purple sheen which he used to destroy everything he could gey his claws on. The little insolent fool would pay dearly for that. The bat wouldn't be satisfied until he literally had sawed the virus in half. Thrashing and roaring and mauling and gutting and killing and breaking, the navi suddenly snapped at the tank. "YOU!" he growled. "YOU BETTER GET AWAY NOW IF YOU HOLD YOUR LIFE DEAR, BECAUSE YOU'RE NEXT AND OH BOY I'LL MAKE SURE TO MAKE YOU SUFFER WHILE I FIND OUT HOW YOUR INSIDES LOOK LIKE!" He added in a venomous tone.

Never piss off a wyvern. It doesn't look pretty. Especially since said wyvern is also a bat and a feral beast at times.

Senses recovered, mostly, Critias swiftly vented his rag on the Tuby before it could begin belting out its terrible music again. In his frenzy, it would be arguable if he even noticed the tank virus circling a little bit too close and getting a swipe against its chassis in the process; the last few crumpled squeaks and toots of the destroyed Tuby seemed to be mostly what the bat navi was focused on.

During his rage, the nautilus tried to send another column of water in his direction, but this time its aim was particularly poor. The jelly, on the other hand, simply rose higher again, charging up for another wave. At the very least the annoying instrument was dealt with. One more down, three still to go.

The tank didn't listen. Well then. He had its chance to bail.

The wyvern smashed his body weight in the tank's direction. He would try to grab the guy by the cannon and beging smashing the thing onto the grown left and right and left and right again. Once the bat's rage had been sufficiently satiated by the smashing, the tall navi would proceed to spin around in circles with the guy still in its grasp and lob the tank right at the floating Jellyfish as if the virus were to be an olympic hammer. Once again, Critias' scales hardened once more to prepare for an eventual explosion or any other funny busyness the other viruses had in store for him.

With the rotund tank virus's response being mostly, well, nonexistent, Critias's enraged slicing and dicing tore into its carapace with ease, though it seemed to get the message a little while after, skittering away from Critias before he could hurl it into its comrade. The Nautilus on his other side, along with the Jellyfish, paired up to create an explosive combination of water geyser and mud wave! Or at least, that was the plan. The geyser ended up destructively interfering with the muddy wave, resulting in a completely untouched Critias, still stewing in the midst of battle. From far away, however, he would see two bombs being fired from the runaway Kabutank towards him. Being at a distance, the bombs weren't quite as accurate as they could be, and only one ever reached him, its blast absorbed by his scales.

Critias scoffed visibly. But he was a stubborn one, so he wasn't easily persuaded from his plans. A gust of wind propelled the wyvern upwards, reducing his distance from the Tank to nothing. "You should have run when I gave you the chance, you pathetic little runt."

This time, the purple bat took extra care to his aiming efforts. The plan remained unchanged. He would firbly grip the barrel of the tank and hurl it at his actual target, the jellyfish. Just to be on the safe side of things, the wyvern conjured a barrier around his body to protect himself from blunt trauma. He should look into Recovery soon. Luckily, all he needed was there. Looked like he was going to have fish for lunch.

Critias licked his fangs. Destroying those other two would prove most delicious.

The tank virus seemed like it was mostly attempting to trundle away now, but Critias wasn't content to let it off that easily and zeroed in on the damaged virus, grabbing it up and hurling it with his claws. The Jelly, further off, was beginning to rise up again, but after seeing its pattern once or twice now, the wyvern navi's aim was good and a collision thick with the sound of crumbling metal and a wet, slimy splatter was all that marked the end of the more damaged virus. The jelly itself wobbled, but it didn't seem too badly fazed by the impact, focused as it was on building energy for another wave. the nautilus virus, still struggling with its own aim, attempted to launch another column of water across towards Critias, but even though the navi raised a fresh barrier against it, the virus' accuracy was poor enough that the line of erupting water didn't come near him.

Critias was about to engage the Jellyfish, when a voice chimed in. "Critias, Jack Out. There is important business I need you to do in ACDC"

It was Yusaku, his NetOP.

"But...all this is thrown away..."

"I know. Sadly we cannot postpone."

"...Alright."

[Attempting Escape]
With how his enemies were mainly stationary, it wasn't all too difficult for Critias to escape the remaining two viruses and abide by his operator's wishes to conduct some business in another place. The viruses simply watched the Navi abscond from the area, and waited for the next unsuspecting Navi to come by, while licking their wounds.
