Netopia Hunting

DragonierMan and friends appeared in Normal Netopia Net again to finish off some hunts.

DragonierMan.EXE: 300 HP [Null/Speed: High Gear/Overclock; OmniShoes/Millions/Undershirt]
Suzume.SP: 100 HP [Null/Team: Tag Along/All for One; Fly/Second Chance]
Aya.SP: 100 HP [Null/Team: Tag Along/All for One; Fly/Second Chance]

Bounty: Gaia (Gaia Family).

[Requesting Battle 1.]
As Dragonier and company walked across the Netopia landscapes after his partner had left, he would quickly come across a pack of viruses across a cracked and battered landscape, very little outside of the cracked panels besides a couple holy panels around, including one beside the two girls and a small swamp of poison right in front of them. A Dharma was monitoring the situation from far away, rotating about on it's hockey puck, acting like nothing was wrong. In front of the swampy panels, was a Gaia, completely turned to stone for the moment as two annoying fluffballs with eyes fluttered around it. And behind that, floating atop the panels of poison, was a Brushman, scared out of it's mind as it hid behind the Gaia. With a grunt, the Gaia swung it's hammer menacingly at Dragonierman, briefly dropping it's stonebody before going back to it's stony state.

GaiaGaia (Gaia)

Gaia viruses are top-tier tanking viruses, and thus should never be seen be seen until battle 6 or later in any given thread. Contrary to popular belief, Gaia viruses are mobile. They move at the expense of their own actions, and do so one panel at a time like a chess piece every so often. All Gaia viruses have StoneBody, which they must drop in order to swing their big hammers. After attacking, they re-raise their StoneBody protection. Dropping and raising their defense does not take an action, and can be performed at any time. The rock fall effect of BigHammer attacks does not work unless underground or inside, and the number of rocks dropped is random. Gaia are immune to RockFall and GaiaWave attacks from other Gaia viruses.

While they're exactly as sturdy as one would expect from a ball of electrical energy, they can inflict bugs with their electric shocks. Maru are highly intelligent for being what they are, and love to combine tactics with others of their kind to make sure they each get to shock the enemy at maximum efficiency. Their small size and ability to move in any direction makes them extremely hard to hit.

The floor crackled beneath the iron boots of the three navis. DragonierMan looked concerned with his keen eyes and senses as all the defensive signature programs activated and formed protective shells around the three. "The flooring is unstable, to the sky!" he shouted. The three spread their wings and took to the air, quickly ending up flying high above the ground. As they ascended, the twins dodged and weaved around Drago. Drago himself dropped a flashbang in his wake. The explosion would blind everyone in the battle, including the three dragoniers.

After the blinding flash, the twins set their sights on the Maru and Brushman in close proximity with the Gaia. They launched twin bolts of explosive kinetic energy at the trio below. The tank cannon-sized shells screamed down and exploded, awashing the area in deadly energy. The Gaia would probably be intact even if it was hit by the deadly attack due to its hard outer shell. In order to deal with the hard shell of the Gaia virus, Drago punched them with a fist from above. The giant rock fist launched itself groundward like the twin tank shell bolts, becoming much larger and wider as it descended like a meteor. It would quickly smash into the ground with the two explosive bolts, causing the cracked terrain to break where it landed. It would be a miracle if anything survived the crushing assault the three navis put to that area of the battlefield.

However, not everything was in such an easy to crush location. The twins evaded away as Drago then summoned his pilot ally. The P-47D Thunderbolt flew out of a nearby portal to join the battle. Its engine roared and its machine guns raised little targeting reticles, as Drago ordered it to go after the Dharma virus. The fighter plane rushed over towards the virus and dove on it, raking it with machine gun fire.

Drago followed it up by overclocking his system into high gear and sped down upon the Dharma from above. He dropped like a comet, forming a mach cone of solid energy in front of him, and easily crossed the distance between him and the virus. He smashed into the area like a battering ram from hell, most likely squashing the virus under the impact. He then took a defensive stance and began evading attacks that came at him. Assuming anything had survived their ferocious assault.

~
Rising into the skies, DragonierMan set towards making sure everyone knew of his blinding radiance, before went to work towards eliminating the viruses through an overwhelming amount of air-to-surface bombardment, with the twins launching high-explosive cannon shells, and himself wielding a giant rocky fist. The Maru were able to mount a counterattack in the form of a few bolts of electricity, but they only harmlessly crackled against the trio's defenses before the viruses were deleted. The nearby Dharma was about to escape the slaughter when DragonierMan's plane-bound ally came roaring into view with its machine guns raining certain death upon the hockey-puck virus before it could react. An overall unrelenting destruction, there were no signs of the viruses left when all was said and done, except for perhaps a few holes blown into the ground here and there.
