Holoß: TV RepairNavi

Holo appeared in a flash of green light, eager to be active for the first time since Aelieth started his vacation. After shaking his limbs to loosen up (though the action served little actual function) he began to explore the surprisingly large network in the TV, looking for anything that could be causing it to malfunction.

((Battle 1, please))
After a minute of wandering around, Holo came across a group of viruses hanging around on a swath of sea panels. They didn't look like they were doing anything particularly malicious, but they didn't look too pleased upon seeing Holo, either.

"I don't think they're the ones causing the problem," Aelieth commented, monitoring his Navi's progress through the television on the PeT. "It doesn't look like they're going to let you just pass through, though. I'll send some support." Aelieth upturned the chip case on the floor next to him and selected two chips from the pile before slotting them in.

Holo nodded, registering the chip data in his memory. He faced the viruses straight on, then flickered out as his projectors ceased to project. Instead, they separated out into two even groups before reactivating, producing two Holoß's standing shoulder to shoulder. In mirrored movements, both Holos took off in separate directions, the real Navi running at an angle to the right as the decoy ran off towards the left. When they were about 20 feet apart, they planted their forward foot and skidded to a halt, their upper bodies transforming into the head and body of a Lark. Lining up their shots so that they were roughly centered on at least one Shrimpy, both Legged-HoloLarks began to spew out torrents of water, the real Holoß activating the Wideshot chip while his doppelganger, still composed of Holo's projectors, fluctuated his refresh rate sending two laggy Wideshots at the group. Both Holos wiped their respective mouths before a flash of light reverted their torsos back to their original form. The sensation of having to work a puppet of himself while fighting the group of viruses and trying not to draw attention that he was the real Holoß was mildly disorienting. Sure, he had changed into a great many things in his time running, but those had all been a single entity every time...

Definitely need to practice this trick some more he thought as both Holo's activated their guard, crouching behind the blocky shield with legs coiled (literally, he had springs for legs at the present), ready to leap out of the way of an attack should his Guard go down.

Splitting into a decoy part was taxing for Holo, but he managed to pull it through. Transforming his upper body (bodies, in this case) into mirror images of Larks, they fired a Wideshot in tandem, with another two lag projections following behind. All of the attacks hit, and the viruses retaliated in turn. The Shrimpy fired bubble-like attacks at both of the Holo projections, but missed the decoy, hitting the real one. Of course, the Guard took care of that little detail, reflecting the damage back at it. The Swordy took this chance to teleport towards the projection, and swipe at the Guard-less Holo. He did manage to leap out of the way, though, rendering the attack useless.

"Nice, Holo," Aelieth commended, grabbing another chip from the pile and slotting it in. "Use this to clear them out."

Registering the chip, both Holos began to circle the battlefield, carefully trying to line up their next shot. Once he felt he had optimized his attack path, both Holos attacked in tandem, a sharply edged Fishy virus forming on their forearms before rocketing them forward in intersecting paths. While the fishy wielded by the decoy was merely for show, the lagging projection that followed it was not as benign, slicing through the group as the real Holo (with his real Dash Attack) did the same.

"Well, that takes care of them," Aelieth commented, "but the TV's still on the fritz. Go a bit further in and see if you can find where the problem's rooted."

Holo nodded, gathered up the reward data, and pushed further into the network.

Going further into the television's network, Holo ventured forth to find out what was causing all of the trouble. Soon, he was running over some watery terrain, wading through a very shallow puddle-area of sorts. Not long after that, he found some viruses in the middle of it, where a Kettle stood on a small chunk of terrain, surrounded by a trio of circling Piranha. Sensing the Navi nearby, the Piranha viruses shifted their focus onto Holo, ready to attack!

"More viruses... what kind of messed up program do you have to watch to infect a TV?" Aelieth asked to empty air, trying to avoid thinking of the particular "quality television" the person who had booked the room before him could've been watching. He pulled more chips from the pile, slotting them in one by one. "Well, at any rate, we should delete these guys as well," He told Holo, who nodded in agreement.

Activating his first chip, Holo started to get medieval on the virues... by transforming into a trebuchet. In his newly formed sling, a sizable number of grape sized shot manifested, some of which seemed to periodically spasm next to their stationary brethren. The wheeled base of the siege weapon rotated, lining up the firing arm with the group of viruses. Then, with a weighty movement, the counterweight fell, forcing the arm of trebuchet to lurch forward and whip the sling around. At the apex of its swing the sling released, launching the swarm of shot toward the viruses. As the arm finished it's rotation, it transformed into a leg and planted itself on the ground, allowing Holo to transfer momentum to right the rest of his body. Back to his old form, Holo strafed to the side before holding his right hand out before him. Above the projector Navi, a swirling collection of lights appeared and condensed to form a gigantic portable cannon, which fell into Holo's waiting grasp. Shouldering the massive weapon, he aimed at one of the fish viruses and fired a beam of over exaggerated proportions which streaked across the battlefield towards its target. As the cannon dispersed into motes of light, Holo adopted a more defense stance and activated his trusty Guard, the cross bearing panel floating between him and the viruses.

The Kettle sat in place as Holo proceeded to blitz some attacks on the Piranha, starting with... some trebuchet attacks... okay. Those hit, and two Piranhas bite the dust. The remaining Piranha fired some tridents at Holo, but they were dodged handily, and retaliated to with a simple Cannon burst.

... The Kettle sat and watched, doing absolutely nothing as Holo put up some defenses in the form of a Guard1.

"Almost done," Aelieth commented, slotting in another chip. Though he was wanting just to chill out and watch TV before heading back home, he had to admit: fixing the TV was starting to be more fun than just watching it would be.

Before activating the new chip, Holo began to circle the remaining viruses. Once he was certain the Piranha was between himself and the hitherto stationary Kettle, he whipped out a gigantic wide-barrel, high pressure water gun. He pumped the pressure valve with blinding speed, rapidly building up pressure. As the device reached critical mass, Holo pulled the trigger. A sweeping torrent of water rushed from the barrel, roaring across the battlefield towards the viruses, followed by several lesser waves lagging behind.

Swiftly engaging the remaining two viruses, Holo prepared a Wideshot along with some other surprises as they watched on. The Kettle did just that, but the Piranha decided to launch several arrows at Holo while he tried attacking. Luckily, his barrier prevented the attack from interrupting. The Wideshot smacked into both viruses, deleting the Piranha and causing the Kettle to boil over onto the surrounding panels. The followup strikes landed as the virus splashed water everywhere in a huge radius, nearly engulfing Holo before letting out a loud whistling noise and subsequently bursting.
